Nah, I do it so much that it's basically a hangout for my friends and me! We took a break for Dawntrail, but before that I was running it about 4-6 times a week, and a group of us even cleared with only 8 people! (A full run is 56 people, and a minimum-scaled run is 24)

You get one of these per clear, so some of us nerds who run it a lot use them for tracking purposes

After I finish Dark Knight relic, clear Baldesion Arsenal and get elemental fending set, I'm getting Jebat just to giggle every time I see it lol

A few weeks ago, I decided I wanted dyable Constellation pants for my AST glamour, and went back into Eureka Anemos for the first time in over two years. Then, tonight I cleared Baldesion Arsenal and got my very own orb to ponder.

For multiple expansions, I had kinda given up on Eureka. I stopped at level 21 - just entering Pagos - when it was current, and wistfully watched others progress through the 4.x patches without me. It just started to seem like something I'd probably never go back to because it had "been too long" and I didn't have a dedicated group to go with. It seemed exhausting and intimidating.

But then something in me kinda just went "fuck it." I did it, and mostly alone. I relied on pickup groups and the friendliness of familiar faces along the way, and ended up joining CAFE for a newbie-friendly run of BA once I was finished with my new shiny weapon.

Moral of the story is: Do It Scared. Do It Anyway. Just get in there and shout.

in my headcanon they did eureka together post endwalker. it's nice to go on an adventure where the stakes aren't potentially cataclysmic every once in a while. just a little bit of localized destruction. they can handle that just fine!

Some friends and I got a group to go clear the Baldesion Arsenal for the first time!!! I was screaming and crying and throwing up the whole time but we did it :D

Quick and lazy because I'm kinda proud! I know it's just the first step in Eureka but I wasn't sure I was going to last that long. We downed Pazuzu with 30 minutes left before maintenance last night. Would have been earlier but I accidentally wiped us once because I didn't realize Wraiths hit like a garbage truck.

"...Thank you." FFXIV WoL x Krile indulgence, I imagine post-Baldesion Arsenal would frankly be an emotional time for Krile, especially if the WoL sticks by her side to the end despite Ejika's own wishes. She deserves the very best :)

It took time to get, but was worth it for Elemental staff from Eureka Pagos. I'm curious to see how it'll change in time~ I'm onto Pyros now! I hope the next area's a bit easier to navigate.

Relics!

So I finally finished with Eureka. Mostly. I opted to not do Baledsion Arsenal but I did finish the entire story quest chain to level 60. I went as far as getting the final glowing Pyros relic weapon - but since I'm fine with that, i opted not to grind the rest for the Hydatos weapon. I got only one bit of glowy armor - the chest piece you see above- which I have turned into Rigel's Dark Knight glamour. The Shadowbringers relic is gated behind an Alliance raid, so that's a Big Nope, but hopefully the Endwalkers one will be more feasible. I'm trying to get special weapons for the classes I love, but reaper can't get a weapon from the earlier expacs. So we have:

ARR - Dragoon

Heavensward - Summoner

Stormblood - Bard
