No one stole anything from anyone. YOU made assumptions about the plot based on promotional material, & you were incorrect. We already did this goofy song & dance with the "Hydaelyn was supposed to be the REAL villain!!" crowd: your predictions about the plot not becoming canon =/= automatic bad writing or retcons.

Could some of Dawntrail's story beats been better paced & divided? Sure, I can agree with that: there were definitely parts I felt were a bit rushed. But at the end of the day, I'm glad newer characters got most of the screentime, rather than it being hoarded by those that have already had arcs in previous expansions.

"The expansion that introduces a nation/characters based largely on pre-colonial America should've been primarily focused on the British-adjacent white girl I already know" is NOT the winning take you think it is. Maybe go unpack that, yeah? 🤨

-ahem- This is the last thing on my fresh-new-expansion bucket list. Now there's just the average grind left for me now in Dawntrail.

The twins are so darling in their adventerous new duds and Krile looks really good in that swimsuit! Nice to see her out and casual and pretty darn lovely if I do say so myself.

...Estinien's fashion sense is so bad that I just love it. G'raha is a bit plain with those greens though. -shrug- Found the picture amusing though. I just did the cheer emote out of elation of freedom and hey, now it looks like I'm cheering G'raha on.

Thancred can never be stopped from tank stancing. He's always ready to go, even in beach vibes. What immaculate dad vibes both him and Urianger have. And, of course, Y'sthola is the fashionable and extremely sensual one. She does have that eye for fashion and those custom gear pieces.

...also Urianger has Loprrit earrings! Eeeeee!

With all this effort I put into this, I am not taking this title off. (Until Bermuda-triangle-exploration raising achivement)

. . . Run right into Krile. Meteion didn't tower over said individual quite like others, but her excitement bloomed all the same. She gasped and sat on her legs.

"Greetings!" Her eyes glimmered as she eyed the Lalafell before her. "You're different! Like — like them! Special, like. . . Me! Right?"

Goodness, X'kijin was just outside wasn't he? He definitely did let her go explore.

"May we please be friends? You're. . . Close with X'ki yes? Friend with. . . Unique abilities. Like me?"

Krile had heard of the young girl that the Warrior of Light had encountered in a place called Elpis in a past that should be long out of reach for the lot of them, though it seemed the rules for the lot of them was little more than a suggestion the Warrior of Light.

But what Krile had not expected was to run into someone that fit her description in the middle of Sharlayan. Krile had been told she stood out, that she was a bit odd in a not dissimilar way to the familiar eccentricities of many people Krile had had the fortune of knowing, that she struggled with speech and that much was revealed in the slow way she spoke.

It was as if she had to find the words first, then recall how to string them together...

"What a pleasant surprise!" Krile said, undeterred by the myriad of oddities, least of all the wings atop her head. "Meteion, I presume?"

A soft smile spread across as she peered at the girl who had dropped herself to her height. She had done so pleasantly, at least, only to meet her gaze.

"I have heard a great deal about you from our friends, so I should like to consider us as much already! If you were looking for X'kijin, however, I fear he and his husband have gone back home, for the moment..."
