Elftober 2024 Day 17: Frosty

The frozen wastes of Coerthas.

After the outbreak of the Ala Mhigan Civil War, her family fled to her father's home of Ishgard when she was only 5 years old. At the time, Coerthas was a lush, mountainous grassland.

And then the 7th Umbral Calamity happened.

There's a reason she and her family fled to Thanalan so quickly in the aftermath. She really dislikes the cold.

But after the good experience she had in her return to Ishgard... she's since grown used to it.

(A longer caption than the one I posted on the bird site not only because I can, but because I haven't really shared the details of her backstory on tumblr before. I'll go into more detail in the future.)
