Elftober 2024 - Prompt 8: Unexplored

Though Gelmorra is little more than ruins to the rest of the Shroud, there are still those who know how to traverse its subterranean labyrinth of connecting tunnels and passageways.

There were innumerable reasons to make sure that they remained unexplored - to the surface, at least.

The headcannon I keep for Fel and her upbringing as a Duskwight is a jumble of inspirations, from the old limestone caverns in Saint Louis used for smuggling moonshine, to the sinister dangers of the Deep Roads from Dragon Age. Since we have very little by way of direct lore for Gelmorra, it is always so wonderful to see what other people create for their own 'Wights.
