Am I overthinking things (again) or is the stuff in Curse of Fenric where we're introduced to Millington with his Hitler-room where he's got a copy of a room in Berlin so that he can learn to think like the Nazis, and then by the end he's planning to blow up Moscow with the Weird Green Stuff, ie he has indeed learned to think like the Nazis? Which'd tie in with that vicar's loss of faith because of what The Good Guys have done in the war, wouldn't it? So is it a thing?

Last time I overthought Curse of Fenric I ended up wondering about the significance of Millington's "had to lock some men with a fire to save the ship" story coming about two scene's before Ace's gran gets the telegram saying that her husband's died in a fire on a ship and I was like "...is this implying that's what happened to him too?" because it does sound exactly like the telegram those men's wives would have got doesn't it? The navy wouldn't say "oh yeah we had to lock them in" they'd just there was a fire. And I never decided if that was what was being implied or if it's a "and now here's how that incident looked from another perspective" or if it's just two unrelated stories about men dying on boats. But it'd be odd if it was just that? So I dunno!

I am a simple woman.

If I see SVSSS content, I will like, I will follow, and I will open another tab to read every fanfiction recommendation. (Even though I shouldn't with my 64 open tabs right now. 27 of which are ongoing ff as I patiently wait for more chapters to be released.)

That's not all though.

I'm considering getting back into writing some fanfiction for my current addiction. I have a few ideas, but I would love to hear your favorite ship, crackship, headcanons and so forth!

I'm heavily debating on a few fic ideas:

SY and SJ shenanigans : Disciples? Estranged Siblings? (LBH Sobbing in the bg)

SY as a rogue cultivator, successfully avoiding LBH for most of the plot. (Switch between LBH and SY pov?)

Modern SVSSS, College!! (SJ the prettiest and pettiest of college professors, he doesn't get paid enough for this. Why is his student flirting with him? Why is his student flirting with his brother? SJ might consider homicide as justifiable.)

Modern SVSSS, SY and SQH wake up from their strange dream. Find out Cucumber and Airplane know each other in rl. Ensue chaotic best friend behavior. (In the bg cue, MBJ and LBH handling this with nothing but poise and grace. I'm lying. They're doing the exact opposite. Don't worry, I'm not a monster. LBH and MBJ find their wives, eventually, probably.)

Modern Cultivators! SY and SJ didn't think they would ever run into an actual demon, demons are rare these days. They often face ghosts and spirits. Cue SY accidently waking up a good old Blackened/Sealed Lou Bing-ge. Cue (dun dun duhhh) chaos.

Demon SY? Cultivator SY? Dunno yet, SY in the Abyss. (I read an unfinished fic about SY in the abyss, and I'm obsessed with the idea of SY just absolutely trying to get LBG to speedrun the Abyss, and LBG deciding "Nuh. I'm staying here, with you". I was also considering entire Abyss ancient civilizations because I'm unhinged, and the idea of what used to be sprawling demonic kingdoms in the abyss is beautiful.)

Have you ever accidently married the emperor of the 3 realms? SY did. Now, SJ has to ask YQ for help to save his brother. (Subsequently: You ever accidently end up with a husband? LBG was surprised, too, but he has a system, a way these things work. Just because SY is a man doesn't change anything. LBH now has to make sure his frail husband doesn't die and doesn't get kidnapped by pesky cultivators.) Three povs???? SJ (trying to save his brother and getting pettier by the minute), LBG (thwarting SJ's plans, spying on his husband, general court affiar), SY (fangirling over everything, getting himself into trouble, falling into every wife plot under the sun).

These are just some ideas, some of my favorites that I've been clinging to. Free game, take em, write em if you want. The more fanfiction and content we have, the better!

I've rambled. Oh god. Lemme know your favorite, I'll probably boost it to the front of my list.

Today's SoTE adventures! Hoooo boy that was awesome!! Too bad I have to interrupt to cook food and stuff but

1) So, I continued going down the road through Mausoleum where I defeated Rakshasa yesterday! But first attempted to snipe the hyppo enemies with a greatbow.. Barely reduced their health because I had whole 8 arrows and 4 of them only served to attract them to snipeable distance 🤡 I'll get them later..... :/

2) I ended up going all the way down! And it was a combo string of me thinking one thing but it was another!! So my objective was to get to that mysterious missing spot on the map. I went all the way down on a small island and saw catacombs, assuming I went to the wrong place because it is caves or mines that can lead to another location entirely, not catacombs! Then I went there in that very dark catacomb and as soon as I saw Fulgurbloom and a big talisman I assumed it was yet another Death catacomb that'd be mirroring previous two but no! Light puzzles and no Death. THEN I assumed 'there is no way the boss is anything but Knight of Death' but NO!!!

IT WAS LIKE, A CLERIC OR SOMETHING (inquisitor actually) THAT WAS REALLY HARD TO BEAT AND KEPT SUMMONING MORE AND MORE OTHER CLERICS LIKE SLIM AND FAT AS GHOSTS AND THEY WERE LIKE HOLDING THAT ONE CANDLESTICK-LIKE SYMBOL AND PILING UP GFGFHGHGB I really wish I took screenshots during the fight but I was too busy getting my ass kicked IT WAS REALLY FUN THOUGH I WON LITERALLY THE LAST SECOND WHAT IN THE DEACONS OF THE DEEP WAS THAT SHIT LOOOOLLLLL

And as if that was all not enough, turned out that WAS an actual way to the new location!! I got that right 😎

3) I however apparently missed at least two secrets in that catacomb.. I saw the ladder that I didn't know how to access, and I didn't understand the deal with an item where that big shooting Imp was. All I got was this:

4) Soooo I ran into this message when I wanted to hop on the boulder:

Gfhgyyggyuyb I already cried a bitter tear of being Seen @ Undestood when Miyazaki managed to squeeze his trademark loathing for those who commit atrocities under belief in their sainthood in a talisman Queelign dropped, but this too.. Like yeah, I can absolutely confirm that being hunted as "heretic" by your own is the most insanity-inducing thing. I have seen what it did with another person, I have experienced this too and honestly I can't be bitter about lolrandom ship choice with Radahn or whatever on Miyazaki's side as long as he sneaks addressing this kind of stuff in his works. He actually GETS it.. This very specific grievance with human species in general that I don't see acknowledged on this level anywhere else. I feel seen ;-;

I am going to make a wild prediction that Midra and the boys were also unfairly slandered like heretics and so the despair festered to the point of him (?) being contacted by the Three Fingers the same way Marika was contacted by the Two Fingers after her own tragedy 🤔 Listen it is not like I've had everything spoiled, I am just trying to guess! Lol I bet that the Hornsent clerics/saints/inquisitors/whatever are now looking at this land being tormented by Frenzy and go like "well see how much Midra overreacted, it was a good call to bully him :т" like you know, in the classic fashion of witch hunters completely missing the fact that they've created their own enemy. So yes, not too much progress but a lot of emotions! One of the biggest "holy shit I love this DLC" moments so far after that pretty hard battle!

Walking through the corridors, with the data pad in your hands.

Accepting every mission you got, hoping that those extra credits would manage to somehow help you. 

You were fighting for something, something that not even you quite understood.

Helping the Rebellion was dangerous and you knew it. 

Your life had gotten worser, being chased by imperial scum wasn’t really something that you needed right now.

As for right now, you had more near death experiences then lucky ones.

But something deep within you seemed to want you to keep going.

Even if you yourself didn’t see it., others did.

Some described it as their light, their pathfinder, something so precious to them that they gave everything to keep this light… the fire… far from extinguishing. 

Keeping it alive was the most important task.. it didn’t only symbolize the hope you were all fighting for, it was your only chance for freedom and justice at the very same time.

However, even if the rebellion was lacking in volunteers, they always seemed to know everything about politics, the making of strategies, even the sacrifices they’d have to make. 

You had collected some years there, knew some things that’d be helpful by now but whenever you requested the higher ranks to let them help you, your pleas fell on deaf ears.

Of course. 

When you are young, they assume you know nothing

One day though everything changed. 

Your routine, your way of thinking, your life… everything.

From the moment when this green Twi‘lek stepped into your cabin, telling you that her crew needed someone who knew how to fight against the Empire, how they thought.. someone who’d help them organize their missions, everything changed. 

After you accepted her offer, she led you to her ship where the rest of the crew was. 

There was a man, a Lasat, a Mandalorian and an droid.

The Twi‘lek wasn’t pleased though, and you soon found out why.

„Sorry I‘m late!“

A blue haired boy arrived, running to the ‚meeting‘.

„What did I tell you? Don’t let yourself get distracted!“

She seemed to be their captain, scolding the boy while he tried to steady his breaths. 

„I know.. but Hera.. I-„

„You what?“

„I thought that I got some informations on some blueprints regarding the empires new TIE Fighters.. turns out that they were drunk.. took some time until I realized this“

He held his hand up to his head, looking nervously at her until he moved his head to the side, catching your gaze for the first time.

It seemed as if the time itself had stopped when your eyes met.

Maker.. he was handsome.

Just before Hera could’ve said anything in return, he reached his hand out to yours.

„I‘m Ezra Bridger.. I assume that you’re our new crewmember?“

His voice was so warm and gentle, actually comforting.

Taken aback by his approach you needed some seconds to register what was happening. 

„Yes, I‘m y/n“

Your voice was somehow higher then you expected it to be, but oh my force… this boy..

From the very first moment you laid your eyes on him.. you knew that he’d become very special to you.

A lot of time passed from the moment where you joined the ghost crew and Ezra always managed to find a place for you two to spend your time together.

He grew very close to you and being completely honest.. nothing could’ve prepared you for what was about to come. 

There were things that weren’t meant to happen.

Things that changed both your lives.

You escaped that hellhole of a life you lived for so long thanks to Hera and the crew.

And yes, for some time it actually seemed that your resistance was actually breaking through. 

Of course you only knew what you saw.. seeing what was happening inside of a person.. this skill was something only a few people could do.

It was impossible for people like you.

Hoping that you’d actually manage and succeed in your rebellion.. some looked at you and addressed you as delusional, your young age was an adding factor to their disbeliefs.

When you are young, they assume you know nothing.

The Person that grew very close to you.. even in a romantic way.. 

Ezra, the one person who told you his whole life‘s story, the person who listened to your voice as if there was no tomorrow.

You knew that there were people you were fighting with who shared the same goal as you, and still they were impossible to reach.

But I knew you

Or at least I thought I did.

The starlight illuminated your figures.

Ezra had offered you to go out and watch the night sky with him, to focus on the beauty that your galaxy had to offer.

It was a dark place and it was easy to feel lost, especially if you don‘t have people that look out for you.

Everyday‘s challenges distract us from seeing what’s right in front of us. 

Hidden by the empires cruel tactics was a beautiful Galaxy, a Galaxy that shouldn’t live by fear.

You didn’t understand it at first, thinking that it was the right thing to help the rebellion, even if you didn’t know why.

Everyone spoke of a light, a flame that managed to keep you all fighting for what was important to you. 

You didn’t have something to lose, you were alone.

Seeing this light was nearly impossible for you, how could you?

Your only interactions with people were these where you accepted some missions to get some more credits.

Not more and not less.

That day however changed everything.

You could swear that from the moment on where you looked into Ezra’s eyes… those beautiful mirrors into your soul.. was the first time where you felt that there may be someone worth fighting for.

Let‘s say that your guess turned out to be true.

„Are you alright?“

He broke the silence, sensing that you, once again, were lost in your thoughts. 

„Ah- oh- sorry, yes“

There was an awkward silence between you two as you continued to watch the night sky. You were leaning to his side as he wrapped his arm around you holding you close.

„What’s going on in that little head of yours?“

There was a sly grin on his face as he was looking at you.

„Did you just call my head little, Bridger?“

„I may have.. I may have not.. who knows“

„Ezra..“

„Yes Milady?“

„I‘m willing to forgive you, under one condition“

„There’s a condition? Aren’t I as your boyfriend a reason enough for you to forgive me my.. ehm“

He was thinking.., oh force what was he thinking again.

„Ehm what?“

„What did I do wrong again?“

He let out a nervous chuckle as you once again reminded yourself how he managed to win your heart, a coping mechanism you created for yourself whenever he found fun in playing with your temper. 

„Okay okay I‘m kidding.. what’s your request?“

„We’ll… I‘ll forgive you if you kiss me“

Ezra didn’t actually do something wrong, it was more of an inside joke between you two whenever you felt the tension grow.

„Damn y/n, you didn’t have to turn this into a condition, you know that I’d kiss you regardless the situation“

Oh you’d give everything to just have a few more seconds with him.

To see him again, hear his voice, feel his warmth.

He always managed to make you feel wanted whenever you were doubting yourself again.

Always managed to show you how important you were to him.

You had nightmares? Fears?

He was always there to comfort you, take you in his arms and cuddle you until you fell asleep, making sure that his girl wouldn’t be suffering in her dreams anymore.

Spending your weekends together, exchanging stories of your adventures, try to sing only to realize that your voices are horrible when it comes to singing.

To kiss in Lothals’s fields and downtown bars was all you needed.

He drew stars around your scars and now your bleeding.

You looked at them and they immediately reminded you of him, how he kissed each  making sure that he didn’t miss on a single one, just to let you know that he was there for you.

That the times of your suffering would’ve come to an end and that he’d take care of your scars, the physical and psychical ones until all of those dark memories vanished from your mind.

Which was your biggest mistake.. thinking that you knew everything about him, about his thoughts when in reality you only assumed that everything was alright.

How long did he know what he was going to do.. how many times did he look into your eyes while you cuddled, talked or shared kisses, knowing that leaving you behind was an consequence he had to accept.

He wanted- no, needed you to be safe, even if it meant that he wouldn’t be there for you, causing you emotional pain, leaving you behind and possibly reopen your scars… hell those odds were terrible but he had the chance to get rid of Thrawn, even if he’d be far away or possibly dead, you’d be a little safer and this was enough for him.

Everyone tried to tell you to calm down, that he did the right thing, ignoring your responses because they had higher ranks, were older and automatically knew everything.

Ten years had passed, the longest decade of your life.

Those what if‘s haunted you in your dreams, actions and basically tortured you throughout those ten years.

What would’ve happened if you had more time together?

Of course you didn’t notice his shift in his behavior, how he seemed more stressed at the beginning of his last mission… more stressed then you‘ve seen him in your entire relationship.

You didn’t look past his cover because you thought that you knew him well enough.

Hope however never managed to leave you, and there were a few things you at least knew. 

I knew I‘d curse you for the longest time

Knowing that he did all of this just to keep you safe, to grant you a chance against the empire, to free his planet, you still decided to curse him for the first months.

Sabine and Hera were your anchors, you couldn’t imagine what you’d have done if it wasn’t for them.

„We’ll find hi-„

„How?!“

It was one of your outbursts again, when everything felt as if it was pushing you down, it was just to much.

„Why… why didn’t he tell me something..?!“

„Hey hey, come here“

Hera guided you into her embrace, trying to calm you down as you cried, one of the many episodes you had after Ezra’s disappearance.

„This Idiot..! He’d be still here if he-„

„Thrawn too, don’t forget this, please…“

Sabine brought you a glass of water and laid it on the small desk beside you.

„He‘ll come back… Ezra has to..“

Hearing this broke Heras heart for you, you and Ezra grew so so close to her heart, just like Jacen did, you two were like her own children to her.

With one missing and the other one broken? She was helpless.

But hearing you ensuring yourself that he’d come back hit another breaking point, both for her and Sabine.

And as the years passed you started to forgive him, understand that you were alright thanks to him.

You started to see him in the most random places, chasing the wrong persons because you assumed that they were him. Your desperate state reached a level you didn’t know existed.

Ten years and your hope was still there.

You knew that you had to be strong, if not for you then for him.

You knew that sinking into the what ifs would only destroy everything Ezra fought for, for you.

You knew that he was somewhere out there.

No, I did a few time on FF dot net when it was old and a breeding ground for incels. From an incel, no less. But I have not in the last like, 10-13 years.

No, I am not super communicative outside of work, and also enjoy my loose writing schedule, so I don't pursue them. I have been asked many times though.

Sheesh. Probably DinCobb, gunslingers (raylan x Boyd from justified) or Ineffable Husbands (good omens).

15. What's a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Honestly I'm really struggling with the Ezra x plus size!ofc right now. And my original work.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I write very good extremely fluffy smut and being long- winded on descriptions. Apparently I also nail characterizations.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Angst. Can't do it for anything. I feel weak with banter as well.

18. Thoughts on dialogue in another language?

I am conversational in Spanish so I throw some in from time to time. I dont mind it at all when reading fic, but I am hyperaware when I use it that other people tend to hate it. So I don't do it often.

Supernatural. Isn't that everyone's first 😂

20. Favorite fic you've written?

Fuse and Paklalat are extremely dear to my heart. Probably that (as a 2-parter) and Sunshine are my favorites. I couldn't possibly pick between them.

A Ghost Story by old_blue (Perfect one-shot for Halloween/spooky season. This is one that I've gone back to reread over and over. And the writing is excellent; this reads like it's from an actual canon episode.)

The Princeton Poltergeist by AnnieWithAnIE (I'm slightly biased because this one is a friend fic, but it's still absolutely worth the read. House & Thirteen are the main focus of the fic, with some awesome Thirteen & Chase interactions too!! And the upcoming chapters are going to be excellent.)

House's Head: Reprise by oddlittlestories (also a friend fic and eventual Hilson, but Bee is really focusing on House and the fellows' relationships in this fic as well– and setting up for some awesome House & Thirteen scenes/storylines– and I can't wait to see where she goes with it!)

nobody's son, nobody's daughter by mischeif24 (a really sweet one shot focused on the familial-esque relationships between House, Chase, and Thirteen)

Fresh Feeling by justkeeptrekkin (Hilson centric, but there is lots of House & Thirteen interaction-- in chapter two especially-- that I ADORED. I love the interactions between House/Wilson and all the fellows in this fic in general.)

Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? Always! Even if it's just a comment with some hearts. I appreciate every interaction and I also know how it feels to create something for the void, that goes for commints too.

What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending? I'd say that's "Evening with an old friend". Or "keep me cold?" oh I forgot about "Puppet play". hmmm 🤔 XD you see, I wrote lots of angsty stuff ("point of no return" is surely the worst (tm), but it's a collage so I won't count it in)

What are your writing strengths? that's a bit hard to say as an insider XDD I think I'm good at dialogues and I really like writing them, and my muse is a crack addict, so I thrive at funny things. otherwise ... I think I'm also good at being true to the original character traits even in a modern setting, but that's something others can judge better, I'd say

What are your writing weaknesses? to actually write of course, and also finishing things :)))) I mourn the times when I only wrote one-shots, but now I almost always get myself into multi chaps (multi as in no end in sight) - so I fall out of fandom until I can finish, or the lack of interaction gets to me, or something doesn't work out as I thought it would ... I deleted some unfinished fics that kept haunting me. it's sad, but I felt bad whenever I opened AO3

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic? untranslatable things like suffixes are okay imo, and sometimes when two characters speak in a language that's foreign to the one from whose POV it's written for example, then it makes sense - otherwise I think it's not good for the reader's flow.

What was the first fandom you wrote for? SS-GB! that was before I fell into the cdrama trash bin

What’s a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to? there are quite a few, I want to write something about the snow boys (as I call them XD) from My journey to you, Luo Mingxi/Linlang (Legend of Anle), mmmmmaybe Ning Yuanzhou/Yu Shisan (A journey to love), and I still haven't written Yuan Lang/Lize Palace Leader (Love and Redemption) even though they are very dear to me!!! they are so complicated and one of them doesn't have a name ffs :(
