Yeah, so Aries finally tested positive today. I'm not yet but I can feel it coming. Which means I'm 100% fucked for hosting my best friend's 30th birthday party. I've been planning for months. I sent the invite out in late May. I'm devastated.

It's also too late to cancel the cake. So I'll just be over here eating a black forest cake for 20 by myself I guess.

Ofc I'm glad to know it BEFORE the party happened, but ffs. Trying to reschedule for two weeks from now, but everyone's schedules are fucked up and contrary, which is why I had to send the invite out so far in advanced in the first place...

I'm feeling ok except a slight sore throat and chest tightness. Hope it stays this way. :(

Self, you got to slow down as much as possible on the plastic crack. It's okay to have one out of curiosity, got the black forest cake on the second try with the one food thing so that can stop, you already have older Hello Kitty bento (got the breakfast cereal), and the second baby was yet another buggy only in green. At least it looks more like Eloise.

Did come home with a King of the Hill t-shirt and what are called zodiac dice which I'll put with the RPG ones. A set of those at Five Below was a good find, they're black and glowy green swirly. the haunted castle set if you managed to see them.

When the body recovers form using it all day yesterday we've got to scootch the dollhouse, finish setting that up, and now that all of them are in the same place at the same time go thru the non rement mini food and everything there's more than 2 of goes in the trading bag, any of which is fair game to have an eye screw put in to it to be worn as a charm.

Most of my stumbling blacks just have to do with organization which came with the brain injury.

The next big task is photographing and somewhat cataloging the dolls, I have also once again managed to lose track of the tags on strings but I know where they should be, and seeing which dolls can go.

Long time readers may inquire about a set of Moxie Teenz, I have a boy and girl, along with whatever outfits and accessories there are for her. I'm not completely sold on selling them but if it were to another doll person that would be different.

Then it's things like thinning the 1/6 ranks, there's some I basically had only for my old website or turned up cheap in an unusual place that I haven't touched except to move them. There's extra Hasbro Jem, if not all of those and cutting it down to just the two Darci, and second hand Barbies who found their way here.

I'd trade the whole batch of Sunset Malibu including PJ and Francie for a replica Francie full set. Basically I want someone with a Francie body because I have some of her clothes and things.

Another batch I need to decide on is the Trent, Madra, and remains of the Gene doll. Putting her head back on is nothing, it's the chipped knee and discoloration. She's make a good base for an art doll which I still might do.

It's always good and healthy to have these wort of doll thoughts even if you never act on them.

Going to try and finish Venom 3 today, it better get better or we'll just al pretend it ended with Let Him Fuck Carnage. At least the only "woke representation" has been the blonde woman and her thing, won't spoil, and that's a realistic thing you're more likely to encounter. Magic the Gathering guy is like only there to give Marvel fanboys who haven't showered since Tony Stark died something to quote. The first scene with the critter on earth better be part of its character development and if I don't see it on someone's side at the end fuck that whole story line.

I'm saving Beetlejuice 2 for after Venom, I started it by accident but the few minutes I did see were already going somewhere. I can put up with building to something, Plainsong and Just Like Heaven anyone, but FFS make it pay off. Deadpool loves Wolverine has pacing issues but it did pay off.

Touches on the writing of Food Fantasy as a whole and Black Forest Cake. Keep an open mind and be kind.

To all Master Attendants.

First of all, we may disappoint you, as we in the writing team are only responsible for the story, so we can't send out any in-game rewards. This is just the ramblings of some writing ladies.

Let's start with the past. Food Fantasy is almost 2 years old, and the writing team has been around for a long time as well.

From the bottom of our hearts, we know very well that our stories are mediocre, and very few members of the community actually read them.

At first, there were very few fan creations on Lofter, mostly inspired by the game arts. The first big burst in fanwork came from the haunted amusement park event.

When we saw the large amount (in our eyes) of fanworks, we were delighted.

That's right, we're lurking, watching from the shadows every day. Every! Day!

Though, due to work reasons and we've all got loose lips, we're not allowed to use our own accounts to like and comment on stuff.

Nonetheless, we're very thankful to everyone who comes to Lofter and uploads to the Food Fantasy tag!

To put it simply, a fanwork community like Lofter is built from all sorts of varying opinions, and that of course includes the dissatisfaction that some players have towards some characters.

As an author, our characters are like our children and seeing them hated, we can't deny that we're not saddened.

But of course, there must be a reason for a character to be hated.

A story, good or bad, must have an antagonist.

Whether people like or hate them, there's a reason for them to exist.

We created antagonists, besides out of necessity for the storyline, in hopes to show you a clearer Tierra, with all kinds of people with different points of view.

To be labeled an antagonist, these characters must have done some things unacceptable to the general public. They have their own stories to tell, and we would hate to claim any of them as completely innocent. The problem lies in something we hoped to doーーshow that bad people have pasts tooーーwe didn't do well enough.

This is our problem.

Be it because of a disliked ship or a character that's too grim.

We will use this experience and work even harder to write better characters and stories.

Once again, we thank everyone for putting your efforts into the tag, making your voices heard.

You've shown us, at the very least, that our efforts put into this or that character have been seen and that you're willing to voice out for them.

We take the time to read every single one of your posts. Perhaps putting it like that might make us seem egoistic.

Nevertheless, from the writing team, thank you!

We have seen lots and lots of the world of Tierra, it's not a pure world of only saints and innocents, it has a wide variety of characters.

The good, the bad, but no matter what, whatever anyone does is rooted in their own beliefs.

Such is the way in real life as well. Because of you, we have the motivation to push onwards.

At the same time, we wish that whatever negativity you have, you vent by enjoying the game, leaving the joy and happiness you have for reality. And that the game is able to release whatever pent up negativity you have from reality.

Formalities and heartfelt words done with, let's talk about things you're probably more interested in.

First off, we have seen everyone's dissatisfaction with Black Forest Cake.

Is she based off a certain unacceptable organization? Actually, no!

("You're wrong, I'm not!" Black Forest Cake yells)

The black forest cake is a famous German dessert that prides itself on its strict craftsmanship, maintaining its fame over its long history.

In Germany, if a patissier didn't make black forest cakes by the set recipe, such as swapping out ingredients and making it with vanilla sponge cake and strawberries instead and still selling it as "black forest cake", their shop would be swiftly shut down and the chef might even have to serve a term in prison, as the black forest cake is legally protected by the EU. (TL note: google "black forest cake protected status")

Compared to other desserts, the craftsmanship regulations for the black forest cake may be considered overly harsh. We've only seen Germans portrayed as strict on the internet as well. Combining these, we made Black Forest Cake a stickler for the rules.

Taking a step back, another factor is that when we were writing, we saw a lot of news reports about overbearing and manipulative parents, along with the stress and breakdowns of friends.

Um… At first, Black Forest Cake was modeled after a child who grew up with overbearing parents, who in turn enforced too many unreasonable rules on her own children, which resulted in their pent-up stress bursting out on her. The parent in this situation would never back off and would think it's the child at fault.

We're so sorry… Everyone, you think too highly of us… We know far less about military history than some of you do, and we're nowhere near as good at making connections… To bring up bad feelings, we're really… sorry…

Regarding the design of her clothing, this is the image we brought up as a suggestion: A punkish dress with military vibes.

About Black Forest Cake

Okay I’m going to try to properly put my sheer rage and disgust into a proper text post because someone needs to say it.

Black Forest Cake is a nazi. This is not a coincidental thing. It is deliberate coding. 

Her saying alone  “Rules and laws are set for us to do better, not to be disobeyed and broken!” is totalitarian enough as is but let’s get into her backstory.

In her backstory it states that she was a dictator who took control of a small village and forced the villagers to work against their will making Black Forest Cakes for her, regardless of their physical health ("even the ill were not allowed to rest.") and wouldn’t allow anyone to leave. When the village started to trade with other places the villagers got a taste of freedom and wanted to escape. However, those who tried to escape had fallen angels sent by her to attack them.

Does that sound familiar? Because it should. Forced labor was a very core part of the concentration camp regimen. And her sending the fallen angels after those who tried to flee can easily be compared to SS soldiers siccing guard dogs on helpless prisoners. 

I mean there are even elements incorporated into her design (which i unfortunately didn’t notice the first time around because I didn’t pay her that much attention) 

She looks like a character you would see in a fascist anitwitter user’s icon. Her hat especially looks almost exactly like an SS officer’s hat. Specifically, it is easily comparable to an artillery officer’s hat. 

Just take away and add in a few elements and there you go. You have Black Forest Cake’s hat. 

Oh but if you think the troubling elements stop there, I’m sorry to say it just gets worse once you add Spaghetti into the mix. 

Spaghetti is the one who convinced her to open trading for the village but at the end of her story he apparently apologizes for proposing the idea of trading and tries to comfort her by saying something the lines of, "Don't blame yourself. Humans couldn't possibly understand us."  

So we have a German dictator with an Italian ‘ruler’ who sympathizes with her and supports her cause. 

Does that sound familiar? Because it should. 

With all of these elements taken into account. There is no way to call it a simple coincidence. Funtoy knew what they were doing with this. They took a German dish and turned her into a nazi. 

Now I will be the first to say that I am just a gentile, I am not actually Jewish. However, I’ve spoken to someone who is Jewish about this and she fully believes this to be the case as well. In fact she was the one who pointed out the parallel with BFC and Spaghetti to me. 

So yeah. 

I don’t want to see any of you calling her your cute little waifood or whatever anymore. 

She’s a nazi, and unless you are Jewish, I don’t feel like hearing any arguments against this. The parallels are clear and blatant and the intent has made itself more than known.

Discord ask about Spaghetti

first impression: wow okay, red head, looks fancy af. also hard to get. but, def interested in u.

now: fun fact! i was actually the very first spaghetti on twitter, before he got banned. (like, legit, i got perma banned from twitter. didn't even know that was a thing. whoopsie on my part) i also ran the second twitter account for a bit, but now its run by someone else. buuut, this lets you know i have done quite an analysis on the character.

so, first things first, i made sure i got to know his interactable character first. he is a very snobby, up tight character, which matches his rich vibe that he has. He is a self proclaimed king, and he very much acts and expects to be treated as such. as well as very proffesional, at least in what he works. He expects high quality jobs, as well as high returns and profits in return for a job done well. If he doesn't get what he wants, then he doesn't want it. To quote him, "If I'm not interested then I don't want it."

Of course, thats looking at the surface of his character. Deeper, spaghetti is a very wounded charater. Those whom he trusted betrayed him and his MA, to the point where once his MA was deemed too useless and worthless, killed him. And i mean, for someone whom you went from poverty to the high life, seeing what he assumed to be warmth and welcome, only for it to be utterly crushed and who you are very close to is killed by back stabbers, I would expect them to snap. Spaghetti just went down another path than what some other folks may have done, but tbh he isn't a weak character, and I don't see him being broken over it, at least for long. He would use the sadness, turn it to rage and revenge, because he is strong and determined character.

If im honest, I see Spaghetti more as an anti hero. I mean, some of the jobs he takes, or at least gives to the others in his group, are actually good jobs. That, and i feel like if it really came down to it, he would genuinely help people (of course he may also expect a price). I mean, think about it, someone who takes jobs for money, but sometimes also takes jobs to help others (sorta like he did with oyster), sounds a lot like a certian super hero who wears a lot of red and black... XD

But, again, Spaghetti still does some things that tips the scale from anti hero to villian. and, tbh, i do not mind that one bit. in fact, i very much like it. Its like he has an internal struggle with himself, but we only get to see the surface of it, leaving us fans to figure out what is going on in his head. Did he rescue oyster just because he saw the potential for such a strong food soul on his team? or was it more because he saw himself in oyster, seeing how once he was determined useless or dangerous, he was tossed aside and mistreated? its up to us to decide, and i really love that.

And his group. His team. His assets. Its an odd bunch, so many wildly different characters. Stargazey, a princess who doesn't seem to have morals, or at least doesn't follow any. Borscht, the strong female that often lends spaghetti the voice of reason, as well as care (for when he isn't stupidly stubborn to the point of fustration.) Black pudding, who seems to really only be there for preztel, but also for stargazey (i haven't read her backstory or stargazey, so idk much on them). Oyster, who also sees Spaghetti for himself (to an extent) but stays cause he was the first to show him any sort of compassion other than beer. and Black forest cake, which is an odd ball herself XD. its sich an interesting and diverse group, and i absolutely adored seeing them interact in the oyster event, vetting that slice of life. its almost like a family. Of course, I don't think Spaghetti realizes its a family. That and its not exactly the perfect, or even good family. there are many flaws in the group, but, they do all seem to work well together, even if many headaches ensue lol. but, i can say i feel like spaghetti is secretly very proud of his team and the fact they work like a well oiled machine, most of the time XD

speaking of machine, lets talk about what i think about him and bifty. Definitely an interesting relationship, and one I'd like to see more interactions of now between the two groups. I get a mixed vibe about their relationship, and tbh, i think thats what spaghetti feels too about it. sure, spaghetti saw bifty as an asset, much like the rest of the team. just another cog in the machine, one that worked very well. but, i feel like once he started to see him more as a human (abliet probably in his subconscious), he grew closer to him. of course, as we have learned in Oyster's back story, spaghetti was devistated when bifty left, not just because of him loosing a toy. oyster said in his back story he could feel that Spaghetti felt a deeper loss after bifty left. and,.as i said before, i am very interested to see what they may have planned for them in the future.

personally, spaghetti is probably my 3rd or fourth favorite character, but with him having so much potential, he can easily also be my second favorite, behind beer. sure, he may be a twisted character, with a group he mostly only sees as his worker bees or subjects, and may only care for them as assets or a team, but there is so much that can be done with him. or, maybe not. maybe he doesn't ever change, and i wouldn't mind it at all, and he would still be one of my top favorite characters.

td;dr: evil pasta noodle is great villian, 2nd to scar from the lion king. he also pastafarian fite me.
