Jacky's a shapeshifter (only one other form). She turns into a slimmer more youthful version of this thing. This one's a bit off model.
The wording makes it sound like a species. It isn't (currently). There's just the one. There's more mushroom babies but what they turn into is individual, I think. Maybe. The only recent example I have is Greggy and he was a ten minute sketch I haven’t thought much about since.

In case you can do ocs,can you draw fernstar(or ferntail in this case) as sandfire kit?
She is the littermate of Squilf and Leafpool, she knew the secret and defending her sisters. Also, she's in a forbidden relationship with a WindClan she-cat named Bluepelt, I checked at @theanoninyourinbox. Enjoy!

in order:
the one on the chair is midge, the one atop of the freezer is hazel, and the one on the couch is verna. do you have any warrior name suggestions
I always just keep Hazel for names, let's shake it up a little. I'm gonna make it confusing. Midge is Hazelnose, Hazel is Pebblecloud, Verna is Ferntail.

Decided to translate some of my warrior cats OCs names into clanmew!
Owlheart- Weearbabun (barn owl-heart). Named after the barn owl (weear) and given the heart suffix (babun).
Deerhop- Niaaluara (female fallow deer-jump). Named after the fallow doe (Niaa). There is no direct translation for hop, so I picked the closest thing, jump (luara). The idea of the name is that hopping run you see deer do, so ultimately i think luara is more fitting than any of the other running words, or leap.
Oakblossom- Byochpeske (oak-clusters of tiny flowers). Byoch was an easy translation, but I had to think about what I wanted blossom to translate to. But I wanted the imagery of a flowering Oak tree, and I think that the clusters of flowers is more fitting.
Servalsnap- Eebsaorgnam(small-leopard-will bite). I had to improvise here a little since clanmew has no word for serval, but servals do look somewhat like smaller leopards so that's what I went with. I translated snap to bite, since I felt that that more closely mirrored the character. I used the future tense of bite so that the name feels more like a warning. this car Will Bite You. Funnily enough, his mother's name is actually Leopardbite.
Hazeldove- Anshuwoohoo (hazel tree-song of wood pigeon). Hazel was a pretty direct translation, but dove was a more deliberate choice. Since her suffix is supposed to indicate a peaceful/kind personality, plus how she's generally a talkative character, I think that connecting her to the song of the dove specifically makes for a stronger meaning than a direct translation.
Crocusclaw- Palifuhponmakarrurrsk (purple-flower-sharpen claws). No word for crocus, so I just described it as a purple (palifuh) flower (ponma). Ae was named for aer determination and constant work towards sharpening aer skills, so karrurrsk (sharpening one's claws), to convey that meaning over the direct translation of kach.
Ferntail- Namarswash (lady fern-tail). Pretty easy translation here.
Skuaroot- Swosyassgaprryem (water-raptor-stem). I had somewhat of a hard time with this one. With no word for skua, I went back and forth on this one. Do I use pre-existing water birds to describe it? But would clan cats even make that connection? Ultimately I just went with water raptor, since the skua is a predatory seabird. Water over sea since the clans would probably associate it more with water than with the sea specifically. Root, with no direct translation, became stem, mostly because that was the closest thing.
Covecrash- Bponbssupragapblalm (boulder-land next to shore-strong-wave). With no direct translation to cove, the closest thing was the imagery of a rocky land next to the shore. With the name Covecrash I wanted the imagery of waves crashing into a cove, so I decided to use strong wave to keep that imagery.
Rillrose- Eebyawshaqanka (small-brook-dog rose). No direct translation for rill, but a rill is pretty small, so... small brook! Also, she is the reincarnation of a cat named Brookshine, and I liked the idea of tying Rillrose's name to brooks specifically rather than streams. Rose could be translated into a few different things, but I chose the dog rose.
Peachblaze- Kawubekaprawswarfyf (fuzzy-pink-fruit-spread of fire). No translation for peach, so I chose some descriptors. Spread of fire feels like the best translation for blaze here.
I.... went further down the clanmew rabbit hole than I expected. Probably expect some more asks from me about clanmew translations because I am not done.
I adore how sticky Clanmew is, people will dip in like, "I think I will translate just one OC" and then find out that they want to create their own entire dialect so that they can PERFECTLY capture the meaning of their cat's name
Seems like you're set up in some sort of very far north coastal area if you've got Skua hanging out! I'd say absolutely feel free to go and make translations for that. Clan cats like to name animals based on the sounds they make. So, for example, the Canadian Goose is a RONK, a Herring Gull is EEYAR.
Same with Peach, Cove, and Crocus, those won't be showing up in Base Clanmew! That said, Clan cats like to make new words through contraction. So using your word for Peach as an example-- "Kawubekapraw," KAwuBEkaPRaw, Kabepr. Or any other way your Clan cats like to shorten things!
For Deerhop, you could also do "bounce" if you'd like. That perfectly describes the hoppy running movement of deer. Niaapipip, "Fallow Doe Bouncing"
And for Rill... just as a side note, man, just when I feel like I've gotten all the little words for types of water down, I find more. I think I've shown PARTS of this little chart I made, but I'm gonna show some "Concept Art" I made for @troutfur a while ago of various water-related terms lmao
At some point, I really want to do a big thing on "River Words" specifically. Types of streams, definitions, things within the river, how fishing works and every fish you find in this area, describe a riffle...
But anyway, with all that said, here's some more base words for you;
Cave = Ken A rocky, naturally occurring hole a cat can enter. The basis of the word "Kenkin," which means 'Den.' At the Lake, some cats insult ThunderClan by calling them 'cave-sleepers' since they live in a rocky quarry.
Rill/Beck/Rundle/Tiny ass stream = Siln A stream that is so small that you can just step over it. There's an old addage: "You step over a brook, jump over a creek, wade through a stream and swim through a river." In Clanmew, a Brook/Yawsha and a Creek/Koshu are jumped over. The Siln is stepped across.
Syke = Mawss Seasonally flooding streams, like the one that existed in the Forest territory that almost killed Fireheart in TPB. That ravine is dry during winter.
Root = Pehur Translates directly

Cw: blood and cartoon violence
Willowclan Stories #3
Ferntail’s Ambush
Not sure if I posted the first two instalments of this series on here but this is the third comic I’ve made for my warrior cats fanclan Willowclan. This one tells another quite dramatic violent story, but hey they aren’t called warriors for nothing!
I’m sure the plot is more then a little difficult to parse so here’s a quick summery: the dark calico cat Robincry has recently invited the mistreated Shadowclan warrior Evermask (dark grey cat) to join their small clan. She has become mates with him and they are now excitedly expecting kits. Robincry’s sister Ferntail has been training in the dark forest and sees this outsider as a corrupting force who will destroy the clan. She attacks him out in the woods, only for Robincry to be forced to kill her own murderous sister. The mates return to the clan and explain to Robincry’s remaining family the tragedy which just unfolded.

"What do you smell?"
"Um..."
Eagleburn does not need his vision to know what face Leopardpaw is surely making. The young tom-cat has always been the lazy sort, shameless in his efforts to sneak around his duties as an apprentice, and trying to ride on the backs of other apprentices. Perhaps that was why Oatstar had selected Eagleburn as his mentor. He knew well that Eagleburn was a firm teacher, if not a bit too stern at times.
"Don't just use your nose," Eagleburn reminds him, expertly flicking his tail against Leopardpaw's side. He senses how concentrated Leopardpaw is by how he leaps into the air in surprise at his touch, hearing the air shift around the apprentice as he shook out his pelt and tried to regain his composure.
"I think I smell... Monsters?"
Confusion interwove through Leopardpaw's voice, threading together an implied question that Eagleburn understood.
"Good," he praises, and Leopardpaw preens under the rare compliment. Simplistic as it is, Eagleburn did not hand out such rewarding dialogue easily, as cited by former apprentices Ferntail and Squirrelbite. Squirrelbite, especially, loved complaining from the elders' den that early retirement due to her leg wound saved her from suffering him too long.
"What direction is it coming from?"
Leopardpaw focuses again, and this time, Eagleburn doesn't pressure him. They are only one moon into training, and he wants him to flourish without too much pressure this early on. Intentionally had he decided to have them set off alone after noticing Leopardpaw's reliance on other apprentices' to avoid investing too heavily in his patrol training.
"... I think... towards the bottom of the mountain?"
He can hear Leopardpaw pause.
It isn't uncommon for cats to forget his blindness and try to point with their tails, and he senses that Leopardpaw had been about to do the same. Eagleburn does not comment on it, simply nodding.
"Take us there."
Leopardpaw's silence is full of unspoken confusion, that much Eagleburn could sense, but the apprentice knew better than to speak out against his mentor, and trekked onwards. Eagleburn took up the rear, ears constantly swiveling and nose held up in the air as he slinked by thick tree trunks and delicately stepped over frosty foliage. Leaf-bare was coming soon, and soon, their training would have to come to a temporary pause to focus on hunting.
Shaking these thoughts out of his mind like clinging cobwebs, Eagleburn senses they're close. His ears press forward, and he smells the slow-developing fear rolling off of Leopardpaw's pelt.
"Is that...?"
"Keep going."
Eagleburn's voice is firm, and Leopardpaw, hesitating, presses onward in silent obedience. Eagleburn imagines he is slinking low to the ground, tail down and ears pinned, and he understands why. The further they trekked down the mountain, the more the sounds below this side of Mist-Bound Mountain rose upward. Distantly, with his keener hearing, he could hear it.
The rumbling of Monsters.
In silence did they continue walking, Leopardpaw not daring to speak, until they were there. Over the tall, waving wild grass roared the Monsters Eagleburn had Leopardpaw scent, and with a swift motion of his tail against Leopardpaw's chest, he brought them both to a stop.
"That's--!"
Leopardpaw's voice is full of amazement, stunned.
"Is--is that a Thunderpath?"
The air is full of the stench and sound of Monsters roaring by. Eagleburn remembers his own journey down here, led by his own mentor, Dusktree. With seeing eyes then, he had watched in horror and amazement as great swathes of Monsters went streaking by like comets. Blink once, and they were gone, replaced with a fresh wave taking up the rear.
"It is similar, yes," Eagleburn explains, voice rising to be heard over the snarling din of Monsters, "This is the Roaring Stone. You must take great caution if you ever come here."
With practiced pawsteps, Eagleburn strides forward, with a subtle gasp from Leopardpaw.
"Eagleburn--!"
"Don't question me, Leopardpaw."
His voice is sharp like his claws, and Leopardpaw obeys with a barely-heard whimper of understanding.
Confidently, Eagleburn steps close to the Roaring Stone, but still too far for the Monsters to snap him up.
"This," he begins, sweeping his tail over the brown, dying grass, "is where our border ends on this side of the mountain. You must never try to cross the Roaring Stone."
He turns, returning to Leopardpaw.
"At night, the Monsters lessen in numbers, but they run too quickly here to cross."
Eagleburn can foggily remember as a young kit hearing about Darkstar, their previous leader, declaring this rule. After her personal assessment of the never before seen Roaring Stone, she decided it too dangerous for her warriors to try and cross. Wide and expansive as it is, he understood. Just to get to the safety of the patch of grass in its heart is a gamble on one's life, but to do it twice when running across the other side?
No Thunderpath is comparable to the Roaring Stone.
"Where are they going...?"
Leopardpaw's voice swells with forced confidence, obviously trying to find the bravado he displays around his den-mates that he lacks around Eagleburn.
"We don't know." Eagleburn shakes his head. "We just know they use this path to migrate. Maybe they are on their own patrols, or hunting for the Twolegs in their bellies."
Eagleburn turns his head back, as if looking at the Monsters flying past.
"You must always be careful when patrolling this part of our border."
"Yes, Eagleburn."
Nodding his approval, Eagleburn flicks his tail, indicating for Leopardpaw to follow him as he took the lead back up the mountain.
"Let's go and find some prey for the elders. If you don't find at least two things, I'll have you on tick duty."
Eagleburn's voice gains a rare, teasing lilt, and Leopardpaw revels in it.
"I'll do you even better," Leopard declares in a proud challenge, "I'll find four!"

Meadowpaw woke up the next morning with the sun shining on her pelt making it look like fire, but the cold still clung to her pelt like a mouse and a piece of cheese. She sighed and sat up, then she decided to go to the Medicine Den and help Volepelt with the cats with greencough.
She had entered the Medicine Den and called to Volepelt, "Yes?" He replied looking up from his work, "Can I help?" asked Meadowpaw, "Yes of course."He replied turning back to his work, "Grab some Catmint and make Deerflight eat it." She grabbed some Catmint just as Volepelt had said then padded over to Deerflight, the golden-brown she-cat was curled up in a ball. Meadowpaw nudged her gently with a paw, "Please eat this, it'll help with your cough." She meowed, "Fine" grumbled Deerflight taking the catmint, "Good." she replied. Leaving Deerflight to rest. "Thank you, Meadowpaw." Thanked Volepelt, "You can leave now." Meadowpaw nodded then padded out of the den. When she left she saw Tigerbreeze making a patrol and Ferntail and Songmist rushing their kits into the nursery, Sunfang was taking Swiftpaw for training with Russetfoot and Hawkpaw, Shortcreek Sedgeheart and Featherfoot were sharing tongues outside of the elders' den, while Cinderpaw and Tanglepaw sat beside them sharing stories, and the rest of the cats were hunting and battle training. Meadowpaw sighed, this is what a Clan is supposed to be. She yawned padding into the apprentice's den to have a nap.

"Yknow," Ferntail began. "If it had been up to me, I would have called you Roselight." She stated, as she walked with her friend. "Really?" Rosewhisker asked. "Why?"
She turned to her. "Because I love you, Rosewhisker. You're the light of my life. You really do make all of this a bit better," she said. "You're like a little light that's shining in my heart."
Rosewhisker smiled. That made her really happy. She rubbed her face against Ferntail and nuzzled into her, for a brief second. "Thanks..."
She looked at her, looking deeply into her bright green eyes. She wondered, for a second, what Ferntail would think if she told her the truth.
She shuffled. "Ferntail," she started. "...would you still love me no matter what?" She asked, hesitating to continue. "Of course I would. Why?" She questioned. Rosewhisker paused. "Well...um.....I haven't really told anyone, but.."
"I just don't feel like a...'she-cat', you know? Or a tom, either...."
She looked to the side. Ferntail was silent for a few seconds, but it felt like a thousand.
"Oh! Well then....what DO you want me to call you?" She smiled. Rosewhisker thought about it for a second, then replied. "Well....a little bit she-cat, and a little bit Gorseflame!"
