Events in order: Copperpaw's apprenticeship, Dandelionkit and Lakekits arrival, Rowanstar and Minnowscar have a huge arguement, Firespeckle tells Darkspot about a new hunting technique, Coppernose complains about Peatmoon, Lakekit bites Coppernoses tail, Peatmoon and Ferntail play tag, Darkspot says Coppernoses pelt looks a different color, Ferntail offers to share prey with Minnowscar.

god i’m reading avos again and violetshine..... oh my god

she’s separated from her sister, she gets a distant foster mother and no denmates to play with, she knows she doesn’t really belong in shadowclan so she feels incredibly lonely.. and this is all before darktail!!

i mean can you imagine??? your life is shitty but people are becoming more accepting, you get to see your sister sometimes, and you’ve managed to make a friend!! only that friend is a teenage anarchistic who leaves to join a violent cult and because no one else really likes you they let you, a child, be taken away to join said violent cult. eventually that cult starts taking over more and more territory and killing anyone who doesn’t comply in giving up their land or doesn’t want to be part of their group. your foster mother ends up dead, everything is absolutely horrible, and then to top it all off the only person who’s ever cared about you and tried to be friends with you sacrifices herself to save you from being drowned to death and now you have trauma so bad you can’t even think about her without shutting down.

at least you found your dad and you and your husband have two kids!!

Shoutout to you bc I was scrolling thru your blog looking at your designs and I saw your post about Rowanstar and Leafstar being on the cover of River of Fire and I'm like there's no way that's true it's clearly Alderheart and Sparkpelt so I go to the wiki to fact check and IT IS ROWAN AND LEAF WTF. The covers don't do a good job of showing who is on them they're like high quality and low quality at the same time if you get what I mean

YEAH ITS BIZARRE it doesn't help that the canon designs differ from book to book lol

What also doesn't help is that the lighting in these covers is always so bright and oversaturated. You really can't tell who's who when every cat just looks like a lightbulb :P River and Sky from the new series seem to be continuing the trend, unfortunately.

I'm glad they're trying new things with the covers, but I miss being able to tell who these characters are without having to be told. Even the old covers that weren't any cat specifically still had distinct characters you could wonder about. Twilight is still my fav old cover just because of how many cats there are on it, and how colorful it is.

The foreign covers are really good and while Broken Code emulated the Polish covers, it only lasted for that arc. I hope we get more experimentation in the future but just turn down the filters a lil, just a smidge...

wtf did they even change with the family tree besides Sandstorm's lineage, it still has all it's mistakes (ex: Tawnypaw x Rowanstar and their kits are still Shadowkit, Pouncekit, and lightkit)

OK I finished Sky from the warrior cats book and I'm so upset....

Nightheart quit thinking about yourself and try to work with your clanmates!! Squirrelflight didn't fail your assessment twice because she hate you! She failed you because you took dumb risks and tried to prove how superior you are. He is all don't compare me to Firestar but insist on doing dumb thing to hurt himself.

Frostpaw I believe in you! She is carrying this series I liked reading her chapters.

Sunbeam baby all you wanted last book was to be friends with Lightleap and this book you were horrible to her and didn't care that her younger brother died. Come on Sunbeam please be a bit more like you from River and not sky.

NOW for the worst character!

TIGERHEARTSTAR can drown 9 times over in the lake!!! He is the most hypocritical character I can think of. First under Rowanstar's leader ship he keeps saying to not attack skyclan. He leaves his clan to die and comes back to instantly try and drive Skyclan out. Tries to kill the Sisters when they are in the way constantly wants to be in charge and now he beats the river clan cats up and takes over to help?!

Tigerheartstar better be killed by the end of this arc or Bramblestar for that matter. My money though is on Harestar dieing this arc and we get Crowstar by the end. I just feel like Harestar is next leader to die and Bramblestar is going to come out of his stupor? Not sure what is happening with him but the idiot still has 8 lives only loosing his first one last series. Plus Tigerheartstar is a bit too interesting to kill off so I think harestar is going to die next.

The book was OK I feel bad for Owlnose and really hope Splashtail is in a conspiracy in riverclan and I want Icewing to be next leader so bad!!! Also please make Nightheart a villain it's the only way to save his perviee character for me I was him evil and dead by the end.
