god i’m reading avos again and violetshine..... oh my god

she’s separated from her sister, she gets a distant foster mother and no denmates to play with, she knows she doesn’t really belong in shadowclan so she feels incredibly lonely.. and this is all before darktail!!

i mean can you imagine??? your life is shitty but people are becoming more accepting, you get to see your sister sometimes, and you’ve managed to make a friend!! only that friend is a teenage anarchistic who leaves to join a violent cult and because no one else really likes you they let you, a child, be taken away to join said violent cult. eventually that cult starts taking over more and more territory and killing anyone who doesn’t comply in giving up their land or doesn’t want to be part of their group. your foster mother ends up dead, everything is absolutely horrible, and then to top it all off the only person who’s ever cared about you and tried to be friends with you sacrifices herself to save you from being drowned to death and now you have trauma so bad you can’t even think about her without shutting down.

at least you found your dad and you and your husband have two kids!!
