it's funny because i will always know sebasitan debeste and ray shields as that but it's not because i played/was into the fan translations or anything

roleplayed on discord with two people who played those characters

once ray gave a toast "to justice!" and i had apollo (privately) (to himself) think "thanks, Mr. Shields". that's basically all i remember about my interactions with him

listen okay. eddie fender is probably the best alternative that they could have come up with and i give props for that.

but i was going to not like any alternative. no matter what. because raymond shields is a perfect name. it's cool and evocative and heroic-sounding, it has a star wars reference in it, from the minute i first heard it in a fic i was intrigued. "raymond shields?? who is that??? 👀"

and then you find out the name belongs to this kinda-pervy doofus and it's hilarious.

but then!!! towards the end of aai2 when miles is really backed into a corner and he gives him some inspiring words and tells him his dad would be proud of him...i feel inspired. he totally earns the cool name.

it's the perfect name and anything less than perfection for my boy was gonna disappoint me.

I haven’t played the aai collection yet and maybe this’ll change once I do but honestly the name change I’ve had the most difficultly adjusting to is eddie fender. which is weird because I don’t dislike it, I think it suits him! but I’ve literally never subconsciously thought of him as eddie before it’s always “ray” it still runs so deep

also i love kate and master so much... i honestly expected them to reappear at some point in aai2 bc their storyline was SO good but. they just didnt??? i was a little disappointed when i saw them during the credits like. seriously thats it??? but whatever we're lucky we even get to play as gregory in the first place(and gregory is genuinely one of my favorite characetrs in aa bc of it)

also wanted to put "transparent" pngs of phineas and ferb caharcetsr over the cover image so. i did because screw you professionalism tyhis is my blog i get to do whatever stupid shit i think is funny(even if its not)

also just finished dgs1!! dude. IT WAS SO GOOD AAUAGYGYASGUDSVDSJ started dgs2 like 3 days ago so hopefully i finish it soon(im still on the first case and ive only gotten through 2 testimonies)
