Final Project Brainstorm 

I plan to examine more of a holistic case study and call for a proposal for a rebrand and reimagined space for Cotton Gin located in Five Points of Columbia, SC. In this final project, I will be examining all pieces and parts that fit into creating a new space for creative individuals, the local community, and creating a coffee/juice bar that fits into the new establishment. I will be exploring a brand style guide, visual and brand identity. Along with environmental designs, packaging, garment/attire of employees will acknowledge and live through the memory of Cotton Gin’s history and presence of the South. I envision also creating a website/social media platforms for new community space/venue. More research must be done with current staff members/users of the current establishment. A  poll of people who would want this change in Five Points could be beneficial.. I would like to have a conversation with Nel and Carolyn (leaders of FemX). I also need to explore what other competing places/brands are out there.
