My good omens 1814 Crowely cosplay, from the regency picnic a few weeks back. Everything is based on dresses from the era and made by me less the glasses and parasol. plus some grumpy photos with ducks and me with my friends aziphale look.

i have a really big problem because i would LOOOVE to cosplay Aziraphale but i would desperately need a crowley. and i have exactly one friend i know who would be PERFECT. like in so many ways. but i don't know how to broach the subject to them cuz like. they're not like A Cosplayer and i don't know if they've ever seen the show lmao

like i think they'd be into it (the show and the idea) but also that's like. such a big ask. i feel like we're pretty close as friends but idk i'd feel pretty embarrassed LOL like hey 👉👈 could you watch this whole show and cosplay david tennant for me. no pressure

I randomly decided today, since I can't get modern day Crowley's belt anytime soon, to do an Erté inspired/early 1900s version of Crowley. Fabric for the ankle-length cocoon coat was acquired. I'm still considering exactly what red I want for the dress and what fabric. (The silk velvet bright red they had was stunning, though.)

I'm not doing a regular flapper dress. Currently my brain is on word strike for describing it, though.

A good friend might be able to make it to CostumeCon 42 and be my Azi :D unsure if they do whether they'll do femme or masc presenting. (Maybe they'll do a combo!) Fingers crossed they'll be able to make it to con. 💖

Alternate version where I tried to make my bra red. It doesn't look quite right to me, but I thought I'd share, anyway. I'm slowly learning to make things look realistic. My hair's not too bad. It's not quite that deep of a red. It's more Season 1 Crowley red than Season 2.

The new addition to Queen Catherine's ladies--Lady Crowley, a queer one who excuses her heavy veiling due to sensitive eyes--was spotted in garden chatting to Mister Felle, a visitor to King Henry VIII's court. Although witnesses overheard them arguing on the matter of the king's most recent mistress, soon enough the two were smiling and sharing a drink like old friends.

So the Heroes Dutch Comic Con.

Although I was devastated David cancelled his participation, in the end I didn't regret attending my first Con. I met lovely people, I'm glad we could share this experience and give some comfort to each other, to have a "familiar face" around. I liked the atmosphere, although I'm not used to this level of noise and so many people anymore. I'm still recovering. (Or simply I'm old now.)

As I didn't come from the direction of the central train station I was a bit lost, but then I saw an Aziraphale cosplayer and followed her to the venue. 😆 There were so many great Good Omens cosplay! I asked for a picture with one pair, their costume was super and I saw the prettiest femme Aziraphale cosplay on the Cosplay Catwalk, I swear she's from Gleafer's 80's comic 🤣

Besides Good Omens there were oodles of Hazbin Hotel and One Piece cosplayers, I never realised they are so popular.

One little guy recognised my Tee and shouted "Crowley!" so happily I couldn't stop smiling for a while 😊

I queued for Misha's Q&A but as he answered every question with a 5 minute long funny story I was only able to ask him "private" during the autograph session if he was planning any charity campaign with Michael Sheen (like Super Good) again, but sadly no. However he is planning a campaign to aid Ukraine, so stay tuned. I turned on my camera while doing this, but I was nervous and in general I'm lame, so I filmed myself somehow. Maybe if I find out how, and find my energy to do it, I will upload only the voice recording.

I think I'm in love again with Cobie Smulders, she was so cool, funny, easy and so kind to everyone! She actually took her time and talked with the fans, offering hand (and sanitizing after) 💓 She has a firm handshake which I appreciate. She really made you feel you've just met a friend! I told her this is my first Con and it's awesome she's here, and she asked which fandom I'm in. I said Good Omens without hesitation but unfortunately she doesn't know about it. (She can't be perfect, I guess...) I asked her instead of a selfie could she send a video message to my beloved new born niece and she did!

And this was the maximum amount of David we could make out from the event

All in all, it was good. But I'm not sure if I would go again, unless they promise me David or Michael 😃
