Okay!

—Reala is no stranger to art, considering the fact that music is a type of art and he's met two Visitors associated with music: Claris Sinclair and Helen Cartwright. So when he sees you and discovers that you're an artist that paints, he's rather interested in what you make.

—Reala wouldn't be surprised to find you in quiet parts of your Nightopia, painting away. He wouldn't mind watching you create a bunch of breathtaking paintings. Plus, he finds this rather relaxing to do.

—If you give him one of your completed works, Reala would be touched by this. He would gladly accept it and take care to make sure nothing happens to it. Though, he wouldn't tell NiGHTS that he accepted a gift from a Visitor unless he wants to deal with her constant teasing.

—Neither Clawz nor Bomamba's pet cats are allowed near his painting. For obvious reasons. (If you watch a video of cats destroying toilet paper, you'll see what I mean.)

Been tying to work on this Snow White period accurate (sort of) illustration for...goodness months now I think XD I finally started to ink it so I can put colour on it soon. I’m debating between watercolours (since the ink is waterproof) or coloured pencils. Femartist

Cheesy, I know. But it's something that I take into consideration, which may be a part of my struggle with where my inspiration comes from. As an artist you're told that your muse comes mainly from who you are - where you were raised, what your childhood was like (that's a popular one) what music you're into, personal politics and all that jazz. Hm...maybe jazz too. But here's the thing:

I am a woman first. 

It kinda ticks me off a bit that there is a lack of a strong female presence that's both admired and respected in the art community. There are exceptions, true. But shouldn't we move past exceptions and be moving towards standards? As an artist I feel that me using my own femininity is still being downplayed, or just played off. And it involves artistic communities and content too. "Oh, titties! Great!" vs. "Oh. Titties. Great. Feminist, huh?"

Anyways tl;dr

I'm beginning a summer series of a everyday women's struggles, etc. Or whatever strikes my fancy really. So look forward to it! It's gonna be fun, and it's gonna be cute.
