Did I ever make an introduction for this blog?

Hello! I am WeirdReaper! You can call me either Weird or Reaper (whichever feels more comfortable for you). I use they/them pronouns and like making art!

I use a regular sketchbook, with colored pens and pencils, and MediBang! You read that correctly, I use a combination of traditional and digital media!

From fanart, to original characters, to gijinkas, I do my best with every piece I make (sometimes I succeed sometimes I don’t, and that’s okay!).

Pokeddexy Day 31: Favorite Pokemon!

ok i'm gonna be real, it's so impossible to pick a definitive favorite pokemon – there are just too many great options. but it felt right for me to pick empoleon, my first-ever pokemon when i played platinum as a kid. between the amazing design and unique water/steel typing, empoleon is just so awesome. i knew when i was planning my design that i wanted to do something baroque-inspired to reflect her fancy aesthetic, and then she just kind of turned into a violinist, lol. it just felt right! and i wanted to do a back view to show off her cool trident-shaped hairpin, too.

even though i couldn't finish this challenge on time, i'm really proud of myself for pushing through anyway. i've been designing pokemon gijinkas for so long, but i never had the motivation to finish or post them. this challenge pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me experiment and discover new styles (tbh before this i barely ever touched my posca pens!). i'm really pleased with all the work i've made, and it was so fun to do this challenge alongside all of the amazingly talented artists who participated!

In Legends Never Die

Here I have a young prince Dagon in love with the young queen Aurora (Zilla)

According to her lore Aurora was a human chosen by Gaia to rule and have balance on the planet, she is a peculiar case because the previous king had been dethroned for trying to destroy the balance… so to speak.

And here is a pre and post of her rise to queen, she grew taller, her hair got much longer and she developed a tail.

I think the titans did not look favorably on Aurora (As in the canon) they saw her as an impostor (Despite being chosen by Gaia) she had to earn her place as queen with the help of the queen mother Shimo (Possible wife of the previous king?) and her son Dagon who would be her future partner.

Here is the old drawing of Aurora's royal costume that in the end didn't convince me.

Her Kimono inspired me in the 12-layer kimono of Inuyasha's mother.

An now in Reach for the Stars

In her fanfic the sonic characters are older (It's a next generation bnha crossover) (these drawings were made months ago)

Princess Momo with her mother Sally in her fanfic.

I originally had this idea based on @imaginationblur , This character is based on Queen Aleena from the concept art and this a baby sister (here is older sister). But now I think that ''Helena'' is Queen Aleena's mother.

Here we have Princess Izuku and the design of her dress didn't convince me so I had made several more designs.

I tried to redesign my Aleena design based on her original dress with a touch of Queen Serenity's dress.

Apparently some friendships will continue in the next generation…

Well these last images are random, I feel that Rouge's civil name would be Bianca, although I don't know what name to give myself dasdbjas and Manic dressed as a prince…
