The Happiness Trap

Feeling like a deflated balloon lately? Like you need some happiness or excitement or you're missing out on something?

I've been there. Scrolling on social media looking at everyone's portrayed happy living wondering "Why am I not happy?" " I should be, but I just don't feel it!"

Well give this a watch. I wish I had watched it sooner, because it really helped clear up a few misconceptions I had over that sunny little term "Happiness".

I need some space. Just a little fucking space. My head’s flooded with thoughts of everything I just don’t want; my weight gain, how fat I am, how much I eat, how many times I binge a day and how I’m failing my degree that I went above and beyond to get. LOL. Oh yeah, and what was this triggered by? I’d tried so hard to not binge tonight but something had it mess it all up didn’t it? Just my fucking luck. 

For the first time in years I’m in somewhat of a “relationship” that I wasn’t even expecting; but it did so why not give it a go? All I wanna do is have some fun and learn to supposedly manage life a lot better. But so far this seems far from that idea. I like the idea of looking forward to seeing someone, having someone to text and laugh with. Someone to watch a Netflix series with and someone to send stupid memes to. That’s all. And to some extent it has been that, asides from the “red flags” lol I guess I should've listened to V. Other girls (as long as they're not bitches) are speaking from experience either with that specific person or similar persons. This boy is so fucking childish! How can you go around introducing me to people as your girlfriend (even though I’ve point blank said that it’s too early for labels) and then ignore me the whole night? Not even say bye and storm out without giving me a second thought. I think that’s what hurts the most. The one person that can make you feel amazing, also has the ability to step all over you in broad daylight. For other people to notice as well - WOW. I must have mug written on my forehead. 

How fucking embarrassing, I don't have time for boys, grow the fuck up or fuck off out of my life.

😕🔫 Do you ever fantasize about not being here? Looking at the veins on your wrists and thinking would it happen if I went just that bit too far?
