You love to give Capitano kisses on his helmet, the cool metal catching you off guard at first, but after doing it for so long, you have no reaction to it anymore. You came up with the idea as a compromise since at the beginning of the relationship he was incredibly awkward about you getting close enough to kiss him on his lips. Not because he didn't want you to, but well... there's just simply a lot of barriers to go through before you even get to experience the bare minimum of intimacy (kissing him.) Unfortunately, Capitano's not really good at communicating this so you'll have to take matters into your own hands as well. Even though he technically can't feel your lips on him, he can still feel your warmth and love coursing through him. The feeling is quite strange, he finds himself pondering it quite often.

(If you are someone who wears lipstick, agents may or may not have seen a few stains on his helmet. It is a bit entertaining to them that their general, who is always aware of his surroundings, was oblivious to this.)

Although he doesn't take his helmet off, he lets you reach your hand into his mask and feel his face, something afforded to none other except you. You love stroking his cheek as he sits in silent, basking in the unusual sensation. It always makes your heart race, being able to feel his rough skin, making your imagination run wild with possibilities - after all, you can't help but be a little bit curious about what he looks like - but in the end, it doesn't matter too much since you know his depth of love for you.

Capitano likes to entertain your silly requests despite his confusion. He's actually quite obedient to you and will fulfill your stupid requests without a protest, it's very funny. He will pick you up by letting you swing from his arm. He will open jars that you glued the lid on purpose with ease. He will let you braid his hair and patiently wait for you to finish your masterpiece. He will let you play with that chain that hangs around his helmet. He will let you (try to) pull him places and show him things while he listens with quiet and genuine interest.

It's obvious he's an actions-over-words type of man. Capitano likes to do things for you, but unfortunately, he's not very adept at certain tasks... he's meant for battle... so he leaves it to others to make your life easier. He never says he's the one who makes these things happen, no, it's unnecessary. Needless to say, he's also quite protective of you. But no one would dare to say anything about you unless they want to end up in a duel with the Harbinger.

Despite his large body, Capitano moves rather quietly, so you have probably gotten jumpscared by him looming over you without notifying you. He always apologizes but he keeps doing it. He just likes to observe you a lot, you always look too beautiful and focused for him to disturb you.

merlin and the rest of the knights around a campfire after leaving a village bc lancelot and leon somehow started a brawl in the tavern: ???

arthur points at merlin: after valiant! you asked me to buy you a drink! you were asking me out!

merlin is busy cooking dinner and confused out of his fucking mind: what???…..valiant….oh the knight with the snakes.

gwaine who was slightly tipsy now stone cold sober and sitting up straight against a tree: wait. explain. what do you mean merlin asked you out??

arthur snaps his fingers as he recalls the memory: i apologized for sacking you and you said that if i bought you a drink we’d be even.

merlin now remembering how he had stumbled into camelot, picked a fight with a pigheaded bully which quickly turned homoerotic and flirtatious, and continued their teasing-flirting for days before merlin shot his shot and asked the prince out only to be rejected: oh yeah, i forgot i did that…..wait, you mean you didnt realize what i was asking?

arthur: no?? we argued everyday, how was i supposed to realize you were asking me out??

merlin now abandoning the dinner and staring across the camp at arthur while the rest of the knights watch their back and forth like a game of tennis: to you we were arguing, to me that was very much flirting. i thought you were flirting back so i decided to ask you. then you rejected me

arthur, mentally beating his past self up for fucking up their chance: i didn’t reject you!!! i just didn’t realize what you were asking me. how was i meant to? we fought every chance we got

leon, nudging elyan, glee and excitement riling through him: its happening!!! its finally happening!!! seven long, grueling years is finally paying off!!!

merlin, realizing the misunderstanding and acknowledging the fact that he wasn’t rejected, his flirtations just weren’t noticed - realizing he still has a chance: oh…oh i see. arthur, my dear, our fights were extremely flirtatious. need i remind you of what you said? “do you know how to walk on your knees? would you like me to teach you?” or “i could take you apart with one blow”

arthur, mental capabilities at an all time low: m…my dear….?????????

merlin grinning devilishly as he realizes that his flirtatious persona he had hidden away after falling head over heels for arthur can make a come back: that is what i called you. should i call you something else? say…mine?

so like. at what point are we going to stop listening to game companies saying "the game was poorly received and didn't meet our sales targets, and that's why we're removing it from storefronts and taking down all the servers mere months or even weeks after release" for titles that had a long expensive development, were barely marketed, and nobody knew they'd even released until after they heard they were getting shut down and couldn't be played/purchased anymore?

I feel like the prevailing takeaway for anyone who doesn't just conclude "yeah, game was pretty mid, makes sense to me" has usually been "this company just has unreasonably impossible sales expectations and treats every project like a failure if it doesn't print a trillion dollars". but these ARE allegedly experienced business execs who aren't complete idiots, and after this most recent debacle with Concord I'm starting to wonder if a bunch of these "games getting wiped out of existence when they underperform instead of just being allowed to persist as they are and maybe improve with time" cases in recent years might be more of a Warner-Discovery type situation, like nuking an entire animated series or film that was worked on for years and preventing it from being sold because it has to be officially unprofitable for the company to use it as a tax write-off. I look at a game that was worked on for 8 years and only made available for 2 weeks, and it's hard not to see the parallels.

My thoughts here mainly revolve around YSA as the mary sue/female lead type character:

She goes from being this perfect woman to. just being a woman. And my idea is that the weight gain isn't there to make her "unconventionally attractive," or whatever other dumb phrase you wanna use to avoid calling someone ugly, but to make her conventionally attractive, yet realistic.

Instead of looking like a skinny waifu character, she looks like a skinny human woman. Her hair swaying in the nonexistent wind isn't as perfect, her magic blush is missing and she has eyebags. She's still hot, just more human.
