“Wedding Cake” Pavilion, Waddesdon Manor, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom,

Commissioned by the Rothschild Foundation, the three-layered cake is clad entirely in ornate ceramic tiles, a craft tradition rooted in Joana Vasconcelos’ home in Lisbon.

Pâtisserie-worthy adornments like fish diving into shell bowls and corniced platforms complement lacy ironwork and pastel hues.

Part sculpture and part building, the immersive installation invites visitors to walk up winding inner stairwells and traipse around the tiers.

     It started with the clattering over dishes. With things thrown his way as they argued as she swore they had time and time again. For all that she was trying to change, it never felt correct. Right. Every feeling was too much. Every moment of progress according to Jing Yuan felt like it was breaking her. Like this pain in her chest was just too much. Too overwhelming.

     And it had culminated that night as it was unfolding now. An attempt to push him away, to get any space between them. Because she wanted to all to stop. Wanted nothing more than to just be done with it all. 

     Maybe it was instinct, maybe it was a fear she'd do more. But she feels her body moving before she even realizes that he's done it. Feels him press her against the counter with her arm behind her back. And the first thing she thinks is that this hurts. When was the last time she'd actually been in pain? But then that pain is over ridden by something else she hasn't felt in awhile. Fear. And she's struggling under his grasp. For a moment – just a moment – it isn't Jing Yuan holding her there but a more malicious figure. And she's scrambling, kicking at his leg and the second his grasp releases she's running to the other side of the kitchen. Holding her hands up above her head as she sinks to the floor. Staring up at him with wide amethyst gaze. 

     It's just the general. It's only been the general this whole time. 

     But instead of an apology, she tries to pick herself up before hurrying to her room. Because how can she explain to him what's been done? What had triggered in her in that moment?

     Nor does she think he'd believe her or care.

     She stops when he says her name. Arms wrapped absently around her frame as those fluffy ears flick and swivel towards his voice.

     It's obvious to her there was something else there. But it isn't her business to bring it up. Not when she barely even wanted to ask him before hand.

     “ Hm? ”

     She looks away, going to get her coat and her boots. Stopping only a moment as she lingers in the doorway.

     “ Sure, General. ”

New Fakemon new fakemon new fakemon we return to the Faux region

Blossnip, the Gardener Fakemon, Bug Type. Height 18 inches, Weight 15lbs. Based on crab spiders.

Blossnip are curious arachnid Fakemon, found on every part of the Faux Region. Wild Blossnip will create gardens, transplanting choice flowers and herbs into a well protected area, though it has been seen that large groups will create a community garden together. The older a Blossnip gets, the larger and more beautiful their gardens can be. With time and care, some Faux Rangers and Researchers have become friendly with large groups, and are permitted to retrieve samples from the gardens.

Like Eevee, they are exceedingly genetically diverse and adaptable, with their hatching ground determining their secondary typing. Listed here are the wild types, with a few unique cases left out - an Electric type hatched in a power plant, a Rock type hatched in a mine, a solid bug type hatched in an insect research facility, and a starling Fairy type hatched in an observatory. These have yet to be researched extensively, and have yet to be replicated - leaving them unregistered as a new variant.

These are based on Spider Crabs, and my wish for more diverse Pokemon like Eevee - and more cute spiders. They're the approximate size of my dog Buster Keaton, and probably just as cuddly once they trust you. Most are based on flowers, except the Poison one, but I just love Danger Coloration! They are also soft and plush, with short velvety fur. They also have an oddly pleasant scent, because who expects a spider to smell good
