So far, my only issue with Transformers One is that it took away the dynamic of Bumblebee being the young scout that is basically a pseudo son to Optimus.

I understand from a marketing standpoint why they'd choose Bee to be there (he's the most well known to the general public) but to me it feels so odd. Not only that but it IS him. Not like some character whom the Bumblebee we know was named after.

It's kinda funny, because me and my beloved have never prayed so hard for a character to die in a movie that isn't even out yet.

We're hoping that, because he's clearly the comic relief, he ends up dying with only his spark remaining. And from that, you get a scene of Orion (now Optimus) vowing to avenge him and give him a new body!

We can then get the dynamic like we're used to. Bumblebee still being a reckless and energetic young scout because he was literally not allowed to grow up like Optimus did.

Please tell me you guys understand!

I need to make a proper post explaining my AU but until then here's a W.I.P that shows how Mr. Puzzles looks!

The AU takes 2.5 years after WOTFi '24, where Mr. Puzzles is freed from the facility after 2 years and the .5 is spent working as an assistant for an OC of mine, Kotone. It is a much healthier work environment than when he was doing everything himself, and I wanted to show that through his clothes. Still stylish but his outfit is less fancy/uptight and there is more color, giving his design a more loose or chilled-out feel.
