Round 1
Propaganda why Charlie Morningstar is insufferable:
"Her entire personality was rewritten to be insufferable. She behaved like an idiot who didn't understand anyone or the problems they had. Her ideas were shit and so were her dramas."
"I know her whole character is naive and innocent. I even liked her at first. But with every rewatch I find her more annoying. She is waaay too naive and doesn't listen to anyone else's concerns like Vaggie's or Lucifer's, instead just believing everyone will listen to her. I might be alone in this, I just hate this archetype of naivety and innocence to this degree."
"She was insufferable in the the Masquerade episode. It infanticided her so much, it ruined any enjoyment I might have had in her. She is supposed to be an adult woman trying to safe sinners meanwhile she acts and is treated like a toddler??"
Propaganda why Bloom Peters is insufferable:
"Look at this image and tell me this looks like winx
https://m.media-amazon.com/images/M/MV5BYjRjMjg2MGEtMmQ1Yi00Yjc0LTlkZTItNjQzYjAwNjQ3MGU0XkEyXkFqcGdeQWRvb2xpbmhk._V1_.jpg"
"Bloom (and entire show) is written like the director gave a middle aged conservative man $100 to write what he thought “woke” teens would like."
"God. GOOOOOODDDDD. Netflix's take on Bloom is one of the worst character assassinations I have ever had the misfortune to witness. She has a fuse the size of a hydrogen atom. She gets angry at people when they try to assist her, ranging from accusing a passerby of 'mansplaining' when he tried to help her find her class to YELLING at the person who saved her life from her own out-of-control fire powers. She wanders off to chase a lead on her ~mysterious backstory~ in the middle of a zombie invasion. She did not realize she was adopted when no one in her family has red hair. She treats her roommates (particularly Aisha) and classmates and parents like shit, and ignores their needs constantly (like insisting on having lunch and important discussions in a crowded room with Musa, an empath who can't turn her powers off, and Terra, who has crippling social anxiety). She begs an adult for help and then insults them. She suuuuucks. (Also her parents suck too, but this isn't about them. Fate!Vanessa you and I will fight at midnight about taking away Bloom's door I don't even blame her for accidentally setting you on fire.)"
"Her sins:
1. Main character of one of the worse live action adaptions I’ve ever seen
2. Not like other girls x1000- she likes ✨reading books✨ and ✨going to vintage stores✨ and gets in a fight with her mom about how she doesn’t go to parties and have friends like a ✨basic bitch✨
3. Gets so mad at her mom that she loses control of her powers and nearly kills her parents in a fire
4. A guy told her she was going the wrong way to get to class and she accused him of “mansplaining”
5. Shitty and boring fashion sense, little to no bright colors and not a single glittery top
6. Season one “Transformation” is just a dozen different camera angles of her awkwardly floating with cgi fire around her
7. I didn’t watch season two, but a friend who did told me she develops a savior complex and has an unnecessary amount of make out scenes at random times"

here’s the thing about me + lockwood content
before lockwood & co. i wasn’t really in the mood for editing. yes, i did come up with videos and photo edits but i wasn’t really enjoying it much. it was the same all over again. a new episode - a new video. don’t get me wrong, i loved the show (still do, it’s magnum p.i. i’m talking about) but i’ve been editing that for years now.
every now and again a show was coming back with a new season. the umbrella academy for example. i did my usual “new season = one edit with number 5“ and then stopped (because there’s not really much content to use when there’s 50 main characters and you’re only willing to sit down to edit one of them).
then outer banks came back, i thought “hey, time for a new rafe edit“. he wasn’t in it much. i didn’t come up with a video. fine, okay, back to magnum p.i. (which i still LOVE to death, don’t get me wrong, i would always come up with edits, it’s my 2nd favorite show now) but sometimes it’s nice to have different characters to work with.
wednesday was released and i really liked that, especially tyler. i made some photo edits and a few videos (4 or something). and what then? back to the old routine?
no, lockwood & co. was out. i remembered i had seen the trailer a while ago and liked it so i clicked ‘play‘. and look where we are now. i don’t know the last time one character has sparkled any interested in me and got me this motivated. a new one as well, might i add. i don’t do well with new characters since i always have to kinda let them get to me first, you know. it’s quite the process, too, when you want to edit. you have to get the episodes, the scenes you wanna use, you have to select 0.04 seconds from episode 1 and then 0.02 seconds from episode 8 because you think they could work really well together. so it’s a lot to think about even for short videos or photo edits (find the right episode for a certain scene, take screenshots, have ideas of what you wanna do with that screenshot, find good fonts, effects,…) i think you get me. it takes a lot of dedication (for me) to accept a character. and it’s not like i don’t like most of them. i like a lot. for example i’ve enjoyed characters from titans, fate: the winx saga, the sandman, hsmtmts and so on.
so, what i usually do when i watch a new show is play it in the background. i don’t know any character - i’m not interested in any of them. i press ‘play’ and scroll through instagram or twitter. however with lockwood & co., i didn’t. i had my phone sitting right next to me but i didn’t click on instagram. i didn’t click on twitter. i actually watched the show from the first second on. for some reason it was very special to me, i can’t explain it. it felt like i had found THE show (and character) for me. the one show that could get me back into editing, actually loving what i do and create. and it did. look where i am now.
i’m very emotional about this, i cannot even find proper words to express how thankful i am for all of this. i wake up in the morning and am excited about the evening because that’s the time of day i 1) have time to re-watch the show 2) read the books (again) or 3) edit. so this whole saving campaign is not only a matter of stopping netfl** bullshit with unnecessary cancelations, it’s also a matter of heart for me. lockwood & co. is my comfort show. i’ve found it after so many years and i didn’t even know i needed one but i did. lockwood & co. is not your ‘typical ghost show’. lockwood is not your typical good-looking, dick-ish protagonist, he’s way more. he’s the reason i’m doing all of this. i’m trying my best to help with whatever i can because they all deserve to come back for at least one more season. so, every day i stay up until 3-4am, get up at 9am the same day and i don’t regret a single thing. i wanna do this. and i know we can all help them get a new season, together.
it’s been four months (and two days) since the release of lockwood & co. in these four months i’ve been the most creative i’ve ever been, i’ve met the most kind people on social media and i’ve never loved editing more than i do now. and all thanks to anthony lockwood.

UPDATE, I POSTED THE WRONG GRAPHIC! This week: Stream Season 2 of Shadow and Bone AND stream Season 2 of Fate: The Winx saga!
In our ongoing mission to #SaveShadowAndBone and #SixOfCrowsSpinoff, we have a new targeted initiative this week! From May. 6-12, we're calling on everyone to stream Season 2 of Shadow and Bone on Netflix over and over again! Do NOT stream Season 1 this Saga! IN ADDITION, stream Season 2 of the Fate: the Winx Saga in an effort to help our sister fandom! Streaming the episodes of each show opposite the other might help remind the platform we aren't bots, so let's get to work!
Why streaming this week matters:
1. Focused Impact: By concentrating our streaming efforts on Season 2 exclusively, we maximize our collective impact. Netflix tracks metrics for each season separately, and we want to ensure our viewership numbers for Season 2 do the most to get us trending in the Netflix Top 10.
2. Data Speaks Volumes: Netflix values concrete data. Our concerted streaming efforts this week will communicate a clear and undeniable message to the platform that the Shadow and Bone community is a force to be reckoned with, and that we lend our support to our sister fandoms as well!
3. Viewer Engagement: High streaming numbers indicate engaged viewership, showing Netflix the depth of our commitment to the properties they keep needlessly cancelling!
Whether you’re actively watching the show or streaming it in the background, make sure the volume is on (lowest setting or plugging in earphones works if you need quiet), and don’t skip through to your favorite parts. The show must be watched all the way through, from start to finish.
Other save campaigns have found success this way, and so can we! As Kaz Brekker says, “When you can’t beat the odds, change the game.” Let’s do this!

How NOT to write a story
Using a bad Netflix show/Fate: The Winx Saga as a basis
Part 1 - How NOT to start a Story (episodes 1 & 2)
Introduction
Like I said on a previous post, I decided to leave that live action Winx show on while working on some assignments. The show’s quality left a bitter taste on my mouth and the persistent thought of “Man, I could have written something better”. So I decided to use this shit show as a little guide of mistakes and pitfalls to avoid, based on each episode. I would like to preface this by saying that I’m not a professional writer or anything like that. I’m at best an amateur with a huge mouth and a desire to avoid working on stuff I should actually be working on, so ignore any typos because my brain is small and lacking it’s thinking juice. That said, grab some water and grab some blankets, because this is going to be long.
“The first sentence/scene is the most important!!”
The idea that the first scene in a movie/series or that the first sentence/page in a book is the most important is not baseless. From setting the tone of your story to quickly grabbing your audience attention, the beginning of the beginning is going to set up expectations. That said, it’s not enough to simply show a quick action scene expect that to be enough. Whatever you choose to show on the very start of your narrative, it better be relevant later on in more ways than one. I’m talking about the narrative’s themes, arcs, world details, the antagonistic forces, etc.
Now, at first glance Fate’s opening doesn’t seem so bad. It does an okay job at grabbing your attention with some action related to one of this season’s 3 main antagonistic forces. That falls apart, however, when you notice how:
1)The scene as dark af and visually unimpressive. This is meant to take place at a campsite on a magical plane of existence, yet it looks like any normal forest. Idk, put some magical and sparkling moths or something, because otherwise it just doesn’t look like we are in the ‘Other world’ (stupid name but this point isn’t about it)
2)It’s kinda misleading. Blood does appear later on, but not with this touch of gore. It also induces the idea that Fate is a suspense story among other things, and while I guess it has some elements of suspense, it’s all so spaced that it will only disappoint anyone that was looking for, well, a suspense story.
3) The guy that gets killed has little relevance later on, and I honestly think that that’s a waste of potential. I mean, why have him killed if you’re just make a murder mystery with someone else later on? What if instead he was related or friendly to one of characters we meet? His death could have been a stepping stone for someone’s character arc, or at the very least not something that could have been written out with minor modifications.
“Well, the first 2 minutes were not the best, but there’s the whole rest of the episode ahead! Just because they were bad, doesn’t mean that the rest of the episode will be!”
That’s true. Like I’ve said before, the idea that the first scene in a movie/series or that the first sentence/page in a book is the most important is not baseless, however it ignores the fact that your audience can pay attention for more than a few seconds. “It gets good later on” is something we all probably heard at least once, is it not?
In Fate: Winx saga, however, the opposite can be said.
“Let’s speedrun our characters introductions!!”
Just after some guy gets murdered, we cut to a little montage of our main cast arriving to Alfea, and I think it was good, surprisingly. It could have shown a bit more of each the girls personalities and possible struggles, but it wasn’t bad (until it was). Despiste this show being about the Winx Club, the first character that our protagonist, Bloom, meets is Sky, her love interest. Not Stella, the girl who she met first in the og show and who was supposed to tour her around (something that happened for 2 minutes, while showing nothing of Alfea because Stella being a bitch is more entertaining that a fucking school for fairies). Not Aisha, who is her roommate and the only character who is sensible in this entire cast. Not ‘Terra’ nor Musa, but Sky.
Then again, they did remove the ‘Club’ part of the title, so it’s very clear where their priorities lies (and it’s definitely not ‘showing real and genuine friendships between women).
Fine, whatever. At least Sky is an important character to this show. Riven, on the other hand, is not. I always found him annoying in the original show, but in this iteration he’s just the worst. And yet he’s important enough to also make an introduction before any of the other girls? Ugh.
Then we have Beatrice, one of the other antagonists in this season, and you can tell that by the way she talks and glares at others. But her introduction is just…there? She goes to talk to Farah/Faragonda, says some shit and leaves, and that’s it. I don’t want to compare this iteration of the IP with the original show too much, because I think it could have still worked even with so many differences and spins and twists, but damn, it’s just so dull when compared to the original. It’s not threatening, nor funny, nor mysterious, nor charismatic in any other way. It doesn’t even hints at what her deal is. It’s literally “she’s a villain, bye”.
The rest of the main girls introductions are fine, and it shows well what their purpose is in this iteration. Aisha is there to babysit Bloom, Terra is there to be the girls main punching bag, Musa may have some future character arc and is there to say obvious shit (I don’t think I need miss Empath’s help to know said character is upset when they are visibly upset), and Stella is there to be a bitch constantly.
The main problem with all of these characters introductions is that: they happen so, so fast, with barely any room to breath. And speaking of barely any room to breath…
“So like, how do we explain this to the audience?” “Eh, just tell’ em”
Sometimes, exposition is inevitable. Sometimes, you need to sit down an explain wtf is going on for a few paragraphs, maybe a page or two. Fate: Winx Saga doesn’t take a few paragraphs or a few pages to explain it’s lore, backstory, world building, or anything really. It’s entire first episode (out of six, mind you) has many chunk a of pure, and I mean PURE, exposition. And unlike the story’s suspense, it isn’t sprinkled across the episode.
You have a scene where someone is explaining things to Bloom, then the scene changes, and they start explaining something else. You don’t get the joy of discovering something by yourself or seeing the information naturally unravel before your eyes. The information is laid on your plate like pasta without any sort of sauce, and just as you finish eating, more and more is placed. And the worst thing is- they don’t even say anything really interesting? If the pasta was like, some high quality shit, it would still be a drag to eat so much of it in one sitting, but at least the starting bites would at least be somewhat enjoyable.
It’s uncreative, boring and doesn’t flow well at all. And to have all of that right from the beginning would make anyone watching it for the first time likely decide to drop it immediately. Seriously, take this episode as an example on how not to relay information to your audience and don’t do what they did.
I’m sure the world you have built is super interesting and detailed and full of nuances you just can’t wait to share with your audience. But restrain yourself. Too much is going to make what could be appealing into a turn off.
This post has been foi on for a while now, so let’s end on a cliffhanger!
I still have a lot on my mind regarding this show and writing tips and pitfalls in general, however I think that it’s best to restrain myself and leave stuff for other posts. With that said, I’ll probably talk about the writing of the characters and the worldbuilding aspect of it more in depth next, so maybe come back next week?
Also, just saying that if you enjoyed this show, I am very happy for you. Seriously, I may despise this piece of entertainment for many reasons, but I still found some enjoyment there (even if said enjoyment was seeing my friends suffering a bit) and I must say, I was even s bit upset when they canceled it so soon. What I’m trying to say is, something doesn’t have to be ‘good’ for you to be allowed to enjoy it and don’t feel ashamed for liking something that most found dumb or whatever other negative descriptor you have in mind.
Anyways, that’s all for now. Have a fabulous day/night and keep creating, even if it’s not something you consider to be perfect!

How would I fix Fate The Winx Saga?
Fuuuuck that’s a big question. I have so many things I would do to fix it.
The first being that I never would’ve done live action. I think making it live action is a dumb idea because it will never live up to anyone’s expectations including Straffi’s. Instead, I would go with the idea of “adult animation.” Despite what Straffi deludes himself into believing, Winx’s main demographic is young to mid-20s adult and animation for adults is big right now. Take that bull by the horns and fucking GO. THIS IS YOUR TIME TO SHINE RAINBOW.
But if I’m stuck in live action land, the edgy bullshit has to go. Half the cast has to go. And we’re sticking with the actual fucking plot of the show. Like why did it take 2 seasons to even mention Icy and Darcy when they’ve been involved since literally episode 1 of the cartoon? That’s a crime against humanity itself.
Calling the Magic Dimension The Other World? Ew.
Sebastian Valtor? Bite me.
It needs to be a direct translation with very minor differences. Otherwise it shouldn’t be done at all.

She asks her next-door neighbor, Kageyama, to walk her to and from school, which would be less embarrassing if he wasn’t a goddamn first year. Sure, he's her best friend, but he's younger then her! And it doesn’t help that he has volleyball practice after school, which means she has even less time to practice with her band. At least Kageyama is fun to tease though, right? And the team isn’t half bad either - especially Sugawara. But when Keiko finds herself offering to help Yamaguchi with his serve during her off time, she finds herself being absorbed into the world of competitive volleyball in a way she hadn’t been last year. Balancing the band, her social life, and her new tutoring gig is starting to pile up and at some point, everything’s going to have to come tumbling down

And before she knows it, the cast are worming their way past her defenses and into her heart as she struggles to balance the musical with her everyday life. Thank you for the tag @nyctophilic0vitnir
Rules: list eight shows for your followers to get to know you better.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars: The show of shows for me. This got me started with watching shows and loving shows and is just such a big part of my childhood. I've seen every episode multiple times, and rewatched with my brother, my sister, my friend.
Agent's of S.H.I.E.L.D: Nearly the same here. (Excluding the last two seasons because they were whack but I adored this show)
Hubert und Staller: Nobody is gonna know this one but it's a German comedy crime show and again my attachment to it is because me and my mother and sister used to watch it together and have the greatest time.
Star Trek: Voyager: I adore Janeway with my whole heart is all I have to say here.
Fate: The Winx Saga: Made it onto this list because Silrah became my absolute OTP and is now ruling over my fandom life. Also, this show is the reason I met one of my best friends and it made the Winxsource server happen. I love all the little people in my phone so much.
Big Bang Theory: Please before you judge me.....this show accompanied me through a rough patch of my life and I used to always watch it whenever I was so mentally bummed I couldn't make the effort and concentrate so it just had to be on this list. The intro still makes me instantly relax.

The kiss in 2.01 where Bloom is practically manhandling Sky around and he's like - wait - then just stares at her and then they're falling into bed and he's concealing an injury and she notices and he's like cocky take your shirt off first and then she's like BOI take your shirt off and lemme see and he goes okokoko - invented romance

why do you hate the netflix show? i'm genuinely curious, as my wife adores it and was also a huge fan of the animated series growing up.
I mean the TL:DR of it is I just think it's a bad show. I found the pacing strange, I didn't like half the characters so it was hard to root for them, Season 1's plot was so awkwardly paced it was boring, but in Season 2 there were like 3 different plot points per episode and I found them hard to get invested in. The LONG answer: my 3 biggest problems with the show were (!):
The blatant racism/whitewashing
This is pretty self-explanatory and I've gone over it before , so I'll keep it brief; the show's whitewashing was the biggest turnoff for me. Musa and the fake out Flora (because Eliot Sal WAS originally Flora, hope whoever made that change got a bonus) were awful, and then the treatment of Dane and Aisha's characters sucked (being taken advantage of by Riven and turning into a huge asshole, and Aisha being turned into Bloom's life coach). We got a little more diversity in Season 2, but by then it read more as a response to backlash than anything else. Same with Dane and Aisha; Aisha gives a little speech in Season 2's first episode where she says she's done being Bloom's life coach, and then proceeds to get a boyfriend who's secretly evil and lies to her all season. And Dane acts like an asshole for 2 scenes before he's shoved to the side as a supporting character.
2. Homophobia
Again, recap from my last rant; Season 1 was very straight. The Bloom/Sky/Stella love triangle took center stage, the only non-straight character was Dane, who I'm 90% sure was bisexual but we'll never know because not once in Fate: The Winx Saga does anyone say the word 'bisexual.' The closest we get is Dane saying he finds both Riven and Stormy Beatrix hot. But Dane, Riven, and Beatrix turn into this awful polyamory thing that goes on for like an episode and a half before it breaks up, and it's never spoken of again. Season 2 gives up an openly lesbian character, Terra, but her love interest (a female specialist whose name I don't remember) is in her own on-again-off-again relationship. Terra and the girl do get together, but last the audience knew the relationship was on! So Terra gets a girlfriend, but said girlfriend is a cheater. Gay rights? oh, and #JusticeforFrancesa
Those are the serious reasons, and with those out of the way I would argue the other really big reason I didn't like Fate was
3. THERE IS NO FRIENDSHIP
At the end of the day you can take away magic, the Specialists, and a lot of supporting characters from the show because the core of it - the reason Winx Club works so well - is because these six girls are best friends. The show is about them going through school and breakups and universe-saving together, and kicking ass at it because they have each others back. It is the show's central theme, it's where the best writing is, and where some of its best moments come from (for me at least).
Fate...does not do that. They started the series out making Sky the one to show Bloom around Alfea and introduce her to things instead of Stella, sidelining one of the strongest friendships in the series for the sake of a love triangle. And it only goes downhill from there! I get the whole 'take an episode or two to figure out where we stand as friends' but by the end of the 1st season these bitches are still fighting over the dumbest shit! We start out Season 2 with Stella using invisibility spells again so she's not seen with the other girls - I don't even think Stella likes any of them by the end of the series! Sure everyone goes to classes and plans dangerous missions to save the world together, but outside of that it doesn't seem like they even like each other. There are moments sprinkled throughout where they're supposed to be genuine friends, and they're easily some of fate's best stuff (the car scene in 2x01 is an example). But they're also awkward, because 20 minutes ago they were sulking in their rooms and yelling at each other about their lack of communication. They aren't deserved is the point I'm trying to get at here, and the only way they do feel deserved is if you a) already know their friendship dynamic because you watched the animated series, or b) you follow the actors on social media, where they actually talk and hang out like best friends.
The strongest friendship in this entire series isn't any of the girls - it's fucking Sky and Riven. Because they were pre-established best friends, had arguments throughout season 1, but by the end of season 2 had come back together because the world was in danger, and they both knew despite everything, that they would have each other's backs. Do you know how badly you have to fuck up, where one half of your best friendship is the queerphobic, predatory asshole character, and the other half is a slice of untoasted Wonder Bread?
Do you know how mad Riven would have been if Sky went to not-Omega with Bloom in the season 2 finale? He would have been fucking pissed and ordering everyone to a classroom to give his 30-slide power point on how to get them back within 3 days. Meanwhile Bloom doesn't actually say goodbye to the Winx girls, she just writes them letters and says goodbye to Sky in person (because it is well established that Bloom and Sky's romance is more important than the girl's friendship, let's be honest). And then girls are all hugging and Stella's crying that Bloom's gone and I just thought 'you spent more time with Beatrix than Bloom this season Stella, why the fuck are you sad.'
This is all a longwinded way to say the central theme of friendship was pushed aside for CW-style romance, which made the core cast of girls unable to connect, which made the show bad.
Fate had the same overall runtime as a single season of Winx Club. Later seasons are bad, don't get me wrong, but those original 2004-2007 seasons had twice the character moments, more concise plots, and felt way more fun than anything I saw Brian Young put out these last few years. I would watch an original season (and even season 4! sue me!) any day over Fate the W inx Saga.
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk, and probably don't show your wife this.

Fate: The Winx Saga - Season 2
Spoilers for FTWS Season 2
I only recently discovered Fate: The Winx Saga and, to be honest, I had not expected to enjoy it as much as I did.
There were many things I liked about season 1, but what really drew me to the show were the adult characters, specifically Farah and Saul. I was intrigued by their shared history and how obviously they cared for each other. Sure, the show focusses on the students, but I had hoped to learn a bit more about the teachers as the story continued.
Despite how season 1 ended, I still went into season 2 somewhat optimistic. After all, it’s a show about fairies and magic, so there could have been a way to bring Farah back to life. I had fully intended to stay away from spoilers, but I think I managed to get to episode 2x04 before I caved and went online to see whether Farah would come back or not. And I’m glad I did, even if it was just to avoid being hit by the full force of the emotional rollercoaster that was her brief return.
Clearly, I would have liked her to stay on the show, but if it wasn’t to be at least we got closure and a proper goodbye. I can live with that and I do appreciate the effort that went into making those final scenes possible.
What I do have issues with though, is Saul’s behaviour in season 2. Season 1 established that Farah, Saul and Ben went through a lot together. They are friends. Farah and Saul had a lot of shared scenes in season 1 that showed just how close they are. And suddenly in season 2 Saul doesn’t seem to care anymore. WTF?!
I have a feeling season 2 may not have been what the creators had originally intended. They had to recast some roles because the actors couldn’t return due to scheduling conflicts with other work they were doing and Eve Best got cast in HotD, which probably (understandably) sealed Farah’s fate. I’ve also seen other posts on here saying that they originally announced 8 episodes, rather than the 7 the second season now consists of. So it seems like they had to make some changes that weren’t necessarily planned and that may have impacted the story they were able to tell.
If they had to cut down the number of episodes, they would have had to condense the story. It’s understandable that they would do so where the supporting characters (e.g. the teachers) are concerned. After all, the show isn’t about them. But did they really have to do it to an extent where Saul seems OOC compared to season 1? It wouldn’t have taken much, just one or two lines to show that he actually cares about what happened to Farah. A noticeable reaction to the news of her death… But there was nothing and that really bothers me.
The same goes for why he ended up working for Rosalind btw. I mean, yes, I can come up with all kinds of reasons for all of the above. For example, at first, he was too busy to escape to go look for Farah. After he got captured, he worked with Rosalind to protect Sky. When they finally found out about Farah, Rosalind was dead, he had the Blood Witches to deal with and maybe he tried to keep it together in front of the students. Those are all good reasons that may have worked, but the show didn’t give us a single one of those. Instead, they made him seem very different from the Saul we saw in season 1. And while I’m all for headcanons and fanfics, I don’t like having to come up with them just to make sense of what happens on the show and I don’t think I should have to. That’s the show’s job.
