So a video went viral this week of a Neo Nazi at a five guys in Vermont who came in and harassed and attacked a Hispanic worker. He called him “b*aner” (a slur against Hispanic and Latino people) 10+ times, and on top of this, did the sig heil (nazi salute) multiple times. The Hispanic man who was being victimized, a single father, posted the video to social media, where he was promptly fired from five guys for quote “instigating and attacking the beliefs of a customer”. Yes, you heard this correctly, he was FIRED FOR RESISTING A RACIST ATTACK FROM A NAZI. Make no mistake, this will become more and more common as hate crime protection laws are repelled by the trump admin, and queer, Latino, black, female, ect employees will be forced to bare attacks agaisnt them and their humanity by racists and nazis because if they don’t, they can be fired for retaliating. This is trumps America, this is fascism. I’m sorry for the political posts today, but this is important for queer, POC, and other minorities like me to know as we are reaching the ages in which we are going to have to start entering the workforce sooner or later. We will not be allowed to defend ourselves anymore, because the racist and homophobic nazis are now in control of our rights and voices. They have won. We have lost. But don’t stand down, boycott five guys, boycott ANY corpo shitstain that runs with fascism and hatred to protect profit margins. EQUAL RIGHTS EQUAL FIGHTS, PUNCH A NAZI TODAY!

context: im working on the outline of a smutfic right now and it's a Fantasy Smut Fic, it's mariluke and marius is a Dragon and he fucks luke who is a knight. and it's Fantasy. i give marius in his half human form a bunch of epic cool dragon features and also a killer monster cock. it's fantasy. this is not like real life. there is (regrettably) no dragonfucking in real life
that being said, im now slightly panicking because in my outline for this smut, i didnt give marius and luke any lube for the anal sexcapades. theyre rawdogging it using marius' dragon saliva all the way, basically. and now im worried that thats TOO UNREALISTIC

fuck it's 2:40 and I have been typing up a ramble about Reinhard von Lohengramm that is in desperate need of proofreading because it has been a HOT minute since I watched LoGH.
Like, the FPA is my favorite faction in that show by a long shot and I'm less into the nobility drama on the other side
but someone else made a post fucking ages ago that I just saw which really ties in well to how I got an impression of Rein as a tragic figure, whose good intentions did not deliver, destroyed him and those close to him, re-enacted the very wrong that kicked off his ambition in the first place onto two different people, and left the whole galaxy worse off than it was before he took power.

Friendly reminder that if Kamala wins Tuesday, the Republican Party WILL do everything in their power to overturn the results via Supreme Court supermajority verdict of fraud. If this happens, trump will assume power and immediatley begin dismantling the American democratic system, including the courts of justice, the judiciary system, and the rights to free speech and expression. He will end the 250+ year system of American democracy and turn the country into a fascist dictatorship from which he can not be removed from power. I am not even remotely kidding either, and there is a REAL chance that this is exactly what happens. Get out and vote, be as vocal and active about preserving democracy as possible, and don’t EVER stop fighting if he wins. It doesn’t have to end like this.

Please read the last two paragraphs of Justice Sonia Sotomayor's dissent to the recent 6-3 decision granting presidents absolute immunity:
Looking beyond the fate of this particular prosecution, the long-term consequences of today’s decision are stark. The Court effectively creates a law-free zone around the President, upsetting the status quo that has existed since the Founding. This new official-acts immunity now “lies about like a loaded weapon” for any President that wishes to place his own interests, his own political survival, or his own financial gain, above the interests of the Nation. The President of the United States is the most powerful person in the country, and possibly the world. When he uses his official powers in any way, under the majority’s reasoning, he now will be insulated from criminal prosecution. Orders the Navy’s Seal Team 6 to assassinate a political rival? Immune. Organizes a military coup to hold onto power? Immune. Takes a bribe in exchange for a pardon Immune. Immune, immune, immune. Let the President violate the law, let him exploit the trappings of his office for personal gain, let him use his official power for evil ends. Because if he knew that he may one day face liability for breaking the law, he might not be as bold and fearless as we would like him to be. That is the majority’s message today. Even if these nightmare scenarios never play out, and I pray they never do, the damage has been done. The relationship between the President and the people he serves has shifted irrevocably. In every use of official power, the President is now a king above the law. The majority’s single-minded fixation on the President’s need for boldness and dispatch ignores the countervailing need for accountability and restraint. The Framers were not so single-minded. In the Federalist Papers, after “endeavor[ing] to show” that the Executive designed by the Constitution “combines . . . all the requisites to energy," Alexander Hamilton asked a separate, equally important question: “Does it also combine the requisites to safety, in a republican sense, a due dependence on the people, a due responsibility?”. The answer then was yes, based in part upon the President’s vulnerability to “prosecution in the common course of law.” The answer after today is no. Never in the history of our Republic has a President had reason to believe that he would be immune from criminal prosecution if he used the trappings of his office to violate the criminal law. Moving forward, however, all former Presidents will be cloaked in such immunity. If the occupant of that office misuses official power for personal gain, the criminal law that the rest of us must abide will not provide a backstop. With fear for our democracy, I dissent.

Part of what’s shocking about the state of the union right now is that an entire party and the US supreme court’s conservative majority have abandoned almost everything – the truth, the rule of law, their own legitimacy, their place in history and the fate of the nation – to serve one man. They could not have picked a more outrageous man to throw their weight and reputations behind – a psychotic clown who’s also an indicted felon found liable in civil court for sexual assault, barred from doing business in New York, a stealer of state secrets, a would-be thief of an election and the instigator of a violent attack on the legislative branch of government and the constitutionally mandated transition of power after an election. A grifter who in 2016 won a minority victory in a corrupted election – his conviction earlier this year was on charges for one small part of that corruption. A man who has gloated about seizing dictatorial powers and never letting go and a worshiper of tyrants denounced by dozens of his former cabinet members and senior staffers. January 6 was an attack on the constitution and so was 1 July. That no one is above the law has been a pillar of this nation and a cherished value since the 18th century; to knock it down in the 21st destabilizes structures and values that have stood these two centuries and more. A president with total immunity poses obvious threats to the rule of law, the balance of powers and democracy itself, and if that president is the vindictive criminal on the Republican ticket the dangers are immediate and obvious.
