I havent had any new art to post so . holds up a collection from when i went insane and drew bedi a bajilion times on one canvas bc im thinking abt him <3

Mmm… thinking about multiple prey on this fine evening. A group of mountain climbers on a vertical climb, all roped together and shivering in a snowstorm they hadn’t seen coming. They’re struggling to work their frozen fingers enough to continue upwards, but know that giving up means plummeting to the craggy depths below. Desperate, they push themselves to continue— though from below, the group is all suddenly made aware of three things.

A gust of hot air is the first— damp and sudden, coming from directly below them.

The next is the sound of something wet.

And the last is one they notice as they all whip their heads downwards in shock— an it’s that one of their teammates is hanging halfway out of the jaws of a monster. Their legs kick and squirm at the beast’s jaws as the others all realize that the hot air was this creature breathing beneath them in preparation to snap up their teammate.

Helpless, they watch the beast as it slowly slurps up their friend, opening its jaws so there can all see their teammate slip down, down… before the tongue bobs, squashing the predator’s uvula to the roof of their mouth with an overeager and squelching swallow— one that causes the entire team to jerk downwards with it.

Their teammate was tied to the bottom of their line, and the pred lazily swallows again, raising a hand to their throat with a pleased purr as the next prey slips into their maw and is quickly and firmly swallowed down. It’s only a matter of time before the rest of them are dragged inside.

In the meantime, the pred leans back and opens their jaws— giving an open mouthed gulp around the taut line and causing it to snake down faster.

Bonus if the pred overestimated how many preys it could comfortably fit and ends up almost too full to get them all inside, but manages with a final thick swallow and a huge sigh of contentment.

And at the end of it all… after the gulps and squeezes of so many prey being stuffed into the pred’s belly, the pred lounges with a rope dangling from their teeth. One that they’re slowly slurping up, toying with, and then swallowing with a final gluck. Sealing their prey inside.

You know I'm not into the fated mate stuff, it's just kinda meh but I DO think the idea of it happening in G/t hilarious. Specifically if it's the one trope where they have to bite each other to do the branding or whatever idk because the idea of like...a giant fae and small fae right? Wildly disporpotion marks.

Just the small fae rocking up to the bar like "what UP slutz guess who just got mated?" And it's this massive fucking set of teeth marks on like half their body

Meanwhile the giant fae just has like a stupid ass mole looking bite on their neck you have to squint to tell it's a bite mark

Have you had a chance to see P.G. Wodehouse's take on Sir Agravine in The Man Upstairs and Other Stories? I think it's one of the few Arthurian works, premodern or modern, that focuses on Agravain as a main character and tells a detailed story about his marriage. And it's honestly a pretty adorable story too.

I have! It’s actually tattooed on the inside of my eyelids so I can read it every night before bed. Nervous rabbit Agravaine is very dear to me.

extremely important to the plot of the game as well as just being a beautiful song in general. everytime the main motif comes up in other tracks in the game it makes me want to cry.

Lost in thoughts all alone has three different versions for each version of the game (heritage, conquest and revelation), each with a different rhythm and meaning that is in line with the version of the game you chose

Lost in thought all alone is the song of the opera, map only available in heritage and conquest, and also the final song of all three routes. It’s also got magical powers too apparently

ik it’s been probably over a year since c!Quackity lost his second canon life and i’m sure i’m not the only one to think of this but here me out:

i like to think that Q’s wings are perfectly capable of flight. However, i believe that in the Manberg era, Schlatt clipped his wings so he couldn’t fly. However, after a lot of time and pain they grew back and he could fly again. After all, we see him fly when he meets Charlie.

So you may be asking yourself: if he could fly, why would he let himself fall to his death? And to that i say-

He damaged his wings trying to save Slimecicle.

When he dove into the lava to save Slime, his wings were burned. He sacrificed his wings for a chance at saving the person who would eventually kill him. And that sacrifice, which was in vain mind you because he didn’t save Slime, is why he couldn’t save himself.
