plus i know how much quackity takes inspo from breaking bad and like hello there is another breaking bad fanboy in our midst.... think of the lore they could have together now its taken a little more seriously. i think they’d be able to balance silly (q’s unprompted marie joke in george’s stream) and really good stuff

Lemme go ahead and say: I went into this new Power Rangers movie with. Some expectations. Like “they better do this thing, this thing, and this other thing.”

Pretty much all of my expectations were met. I loved every single one of the kids otherthanJason. Billy was fantastic! He had this precious lil happy clap and. Just his syntax and his delivery. He was a good kid. All of them were. And the thing! About Trini!! The Zords! The suits! That stupid fucking line! And the theme song oh my god!!! And the end!!!!!!!!!

I will say. Alpha. Bothered me. The “aye aye aye"s were there a couple times. But? She was no longer a girl? She always had she/her pronouns before, right? And I understand she’s a robot so that shouldn’t be a big deal, but for that same reason: why change it? I don’t know if they used pronouns so I don’t know if it was official but. Mh. It was just a weird change to me. EDIT: Was I totally wrong about this bit? I might need torewatch some of the old stuff....

Zordon was pretty much a dick the whole time. Until suddenly he wasn’t anymore. Rita was fucking fantastic. Goldar was. Not as I remember him. >_> the big ending fight was good. Still busy right now, but if I think of something else, I’ll come back with it.

ALSO I’ve decided Trini and Kimberly love each other and date and share desserts and it’s wonderful. Okay. That’s it. For reals.
