I figured out why buff Kirsten makes me feel sad and it really has nothing to do with the choice itself. It really comes down to two things. 1) I now feel like I can’t relate to this character personally or publicly and 2) there is very few fat characters in D20.

Both of these things are really not Kirsten specific, they are connected to the wider issue of fatness being seen as inherently cringe/fully forgotten. To keep point one short. I am fat and I like to cosplay, it’s hard out here. I know now I’ll never post my Kirsten cosplay even though it was really well received at my local con cus I feel like I’ll be seen as the before picture in Kirsten’s weight loss journey. There is like a lot more here I could say about cosplay and the sexualized of fat fems while seeing any fatness as inherently cringe and no fandom is immune, let me know if you ever want me to go off.

I saw myself in Kirsten a lot but if she sees fitness that way I I juts can’t any more. That is not inherently bad I don’t have any ownership they don’t owe me anything, but it dose make me sad.

i don't think any of you care, but i have blocked that person now and im gonna delete some posts from last night to clean up my own account from that shit. they doubled down on the fact that i'm a creep who's being weird about fat people, and when asked to produce the posts they're talking about that supposedly back them up they either stop replying or just repeat what they said in the previous message. im really grateful so many people have been nice to me about this and sent me messages, but i also wish we don't engage with this person anymore and stop sending them anons. for everyone's sake, but i also grabbed this from underneath one of their posts about the situation

when being asked to remember people online also are real people they completely disregard it, so i believe everyone is best to just move on from this. block them, because this lack of respect is insane and harmful to others in an online space.

lastly i also just wanted to say that i've had issues with my own body for a very long time (i won't say if it's regarding me being fat, skinny, disabled, etc. especially since that was one of the things that person got mad at me for not sharing) and that i, personally, am so grateful that all different body types exist because i think it makes humanity so much more beautiful. the fetishisation of fat people was something this person really hammered about, and i just wanna say that when it comes to your body it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks of it, when you have sex or are just naked you are beautiful and sexy, not because someone desires you or says so but because you feel it. i believe this to be true in every situation, but highlighted the naked part because that is what a lot of people struggle with and what i got jumped about by that blog. if any teenagers or younger people follow me and read a lot of my posts i want to remind you that the best feature on the internet is the block button. you don't have to justify yourself in your space, so if you don't like something just move past it. it's always okay to make things up about fictional character to make you feel better, as long as you're not mean to someone else what they think about the same character if they think differently. create your own space online, but also remember that the internet and what exists on it is available for anyone to see, so you can't go on making things up about real people. that goes just as much for someone trying to make up that i have a fat fetish as someone making up things about a mega celebrity like harry styles. it's far more unlikely to reach, but still affects a real person, and that is not okay.

i mean, fat ragh is just... like... canon? like that's just how he looks. he's been drawn like that since the boy's night one-shot and only ever not drawn fat in his introductory art, where he was wearing a big letterman that would hide a belly anyway. i find it kind of silly to say "fat ragh" as though that's an au or a headcanon or anything, since that is, again, just a trait he has in the show we're watching

motion: How does your OC move? How does their clothing help or hinder their range of motion? Are they flexible, coordinated, clumsy?

cyrus has two modes of motion: purposeful and strong, combination unstoppable force + unmovable object especially on the battlefield; and a more fluid but also fidgety & restless mode when he's less actively performing heroism. he has the heavy armor for the former and his looser casual clothes for the latter, though both post-kirkwall da!cyrus and durge!cyrus eschew the armor. who needs plate mail when you have a cursed body???

he's coordinated but stiff, especially as he ages and his body wears out, with a lot of tightness & pain in his back in particular. and even before that, given that the one stat consistent across all his iterations is his 0 dex mod... well, he's not kristen applebees-level of clumsy, but he's a lot less graceful than his most of his lis.

in my heart of hearts, without the limitations of the wotd mod, yiseeril is a fat gnome aasimar (thought by her parents to be a divine drop of the creativity that lends garl glittergold his wit and trickery, before the children of the passive voice claimed her for oghma). she doesn't take her own body into account too much when picking clothes? her sense of fashion is, as in so much of her life in-game, driven by whims & fancies, as well as the desire to be the cutest/prettiest/most fuckable person in any room she enters. sometimes that means having her tits out. sometimes that means wearing a silly pastel bard outfit.

uhhhhhh honestly the canon i reject is that tracker was in the right for comparing their situations literally at all. tracker was WAY out of line and the narrative treated her like she was right. she was not.
