She is also one of those people who suggest—and I think in her case it was deliberate provocation, koanish rather than sincere—that you should adapt your sexuality to your politics, and I cannot take anything else that person says seriously. It’s just a refashioning of the idea that the woman’s body is mostly a site on which other things can be decided. And anyhow none of the men I’ve ever loved or even liked fit her description—not my dad, my friends or lovers. So I am not going to worry about whether or not men as a whole love women as a whole. Joe being hot doesn’t negate him from being held to the same standard you hold others to. i initially wasn't going to answer this but you're right. my attraction and time i dedicate to joey b doesn't negate him from being held to the same standard. i despise trump i'm incredibly vocal when it comes to politics and yes, i absolutely judge ppl who choose to be quiet or even worse, support him. do i respect the fact that he took a picture with trump? absolutely not i would never do that nor do i understand ppl who feel the need to do so

what i do know, is that joe has actively shared his opinion on political viewpoints that are incredibly important to me and what i stand for. so no, i don't respect his decision in that instance but what i do respect is his understanding of using his voice and platform for issues that are not just relative to him but everyone including issues relative to women and children.
