If you want a full zip up i recommend Walls insulated Coveralls. For Bibs and Hooded Coat Tractor Supply brand Ridgecut women’s. They are affordable and sturdy. Don’t forget to button the bottoms to prevent wear and tear on the pant legs. I’m short but they button perfectly over my boots to prevent dragging.

The best warm and durable gloves I’ve found are Plainsman.

Wrangler Flannel lined cargo pants (Legacy Style) are comfortable, warm and cheap. They won’t last much past one season but the cost makes that okay.

it feels weird to see people who don't need gluten-free diet decide to stop eating gluten because they believe gluten is bad. there's a whole subset of wellness grift where people who don't need blood sugar monitors start wearing them? 'at our store we only use organic stuff and no seed oils' do you even know how the process of obtaining 'organic' label by brands goes? in some countries it's completely unregulated. and what's worst people who have dietary restrictions due to various reasons... their lives don't get easier when suddenly 1000s people on tiktok parroting why you should also stop eating x y and x. ableism is still a thing and countless grifts that promote a medical necessity for ceratain people as 'this new great thing you need'... just gross

I think priest au hinata working at an auto shop is good... similarly: consider him working at one of those farm supply stores as a stocker or something. Close enough to farm work and also would give him a reason to be beefy heh. Maybe he got a job there by his relation to someone else, his parents, idk.... small town shenanigans. It is also probably a really homophobic environment with all the religious farmers coming in for seed or tractor components... perfect place for the tragic woobie to be more tortured and repressed 🤠

oh that’s actually really tempting bc i imagine he eventually gets into gardening (both bc i like mice’s idea of him tending to the church’s flowerbeds and bc i like gardener!hajime in general). and he can buy his seeds from there….

some farmer from the next town over sees him browsing flower seeds and asks if he’s “some sort of faggot” in that “i’m-serious-but-if-you-get-offended-i’ll-pretend-i-was-joking” way and it fucks with him for the rest of the week. he’s like “how did he Know….. DID he know ???”

while I'm at it I always thought Odessen was mostly farmland because it looked so lush and the Alliance would need to sustain itself through self reliance rather than imports of foodstuffs and if I had my way increasing reputation with the Alliance enclave leaders would involve farming food for your troops and gradually upgrading the quality of your crops and food processors. troops would admit they were starving and complain about the same rations day in and out when you first start and then sound more satisfied as you progress. this is how we can still win kotxx. also lana in big waders

OUR CHICKS ARE HATCHING!

Yesterday my sister sent me this picture of the first 2 chicks to hatch.

Today I went to visit the farm and look!

There’s now 3 little bitty baby chickens and a fourth one hatching!

If you can’t tell by looking at the many different colors of eggs, most of these chickies are likely going to be hybrids. We have 4 roosters of three different varieties and even more variation in the 30+ hens. The three that are hatched all came from white eggs, (we have no Roos of white-egg breeds) but also all have tiny black spots here and there in their yellow fluff.

The one hatching is coming from a black copper marran egg, and we do have a black copper marran rooster, so it has a 25% chance of being a purebred.

And they are so tiny and trusting! I put my hand in to pet them and one just hopped on my hand! I’m so excited!
