Highlights of the FanX my partner @calboyvanto and I went to yesterday! Got to meet THE Timothy Z which was such an awesome experience. I was really happy to have met so many other cosplayers as well! Will certainly be doing another Thrawn, or Aralani in the future!

"At the end of a great FanX Salt Lake, we packed up our booth, and then went to watch the Cosplay Contest. As the contest ended, we went back to load our booth into the car. At one point while loading the car, I realized that I had left the backpack with Katie’s iPad and the cash box in the ballroom. I rushed back to get it, and it was gone. I’m pissed at myself for leaving it under my chair, but I’m also pissed at the jerk that stole it. That backpack not only has all of our earnings for the weekend, but also has all of our art: sketches for new plush; fruit dinos in partial development; fashion and costume ideas. If any one of our fans in Salt Lake City can help us find our purple backpack, we will forever be grateful."

I did a thing today! Torian's voice actor Johnny Yong Bosch was at FanX today and I had to go see him. I thought long and before choosing this picture, one of the first @dingoat ever did of my favorite couple. He seemed excited I brought him something from Swtor, nothing on his table reflected that he was involved with Star Wars at all.

He asked me if this meant I let him live. I told him that of course I do, Vette dies every time. And after he signed the picture he thanked me for playing the game and when I tell you that made me cry in a jam packed room full of nersy strangers, belive me. I couldn't get the tears to stop for several minutes. This was a wonderful interaction and I'm so glad I got to see him today.

I did a makeup and costume test for my Arthur Lester cosplay, I need to get a different brow pen for the facial hair, and I'm waiting on my yellow contacts, but overall, I'm pleased!

Bad news: I’m not able to make it to Salt Lake FanX this year. Worse news: I damaged my rotator cuff and can’t draw until I heal 🫠

Also, this is my formal announcement of my upcoming Merrical mini-zine! It’s a small booklet full of my Fallen Order and Survivor sketches! I should be getting the zines soon, and then I’ll add them to the shop. I was counting on them arriving in time for this sale, but they’re taking a little longer than expected. So once I get them, I’ll most likely extend the sale to make things fair for everyone!
