Abyssal magic comes effortlessly to her, and therein lies in the danger. Too much grief, too much rage, too much love. Forces bent on tearing her apart from the inside out. Her aether twists around her blade, setting the runes alight, unrefined magic pulsating in the palm of her hand. When she reaches into the abyss, she feels a strange serenity, content with the knowledge her enemies will certainly fall. The question remains as to whether she herself will be left standing at the end. —level 90 compendium

I feel like I should mention… because I want to,
In the 9-1-1 fantasy/pirate au,
The Buddie wedding is basically just the in-AU version of Eddie putting Buck as Chris’ guardian in his will.
The wedding was mostly for ownership of property, and to put into place proper obligations to look after eachother’s family, in the case something happened to one of them, like who’s gonna look after Chris is one of them dies.
but it’s also kinda gonna be a marker for when Eddie gets properly invested in the pirate way of life.
He’s going to be former Navy, so becoming a pirate was a bit of a career shift for him, and it took him a while to adjust to the culture shock. And when he did his first thought was ‘I’m gonna marry a man’
And then he did
And then they made out sloppy style.

Some Rabbit I drew a while back in early March!
Also the first time I've ever shaded pearls?? Pearls are super weird to shade, I kinda like them.

Tokyo DisneySea's "Frozen Kingdom," part of the "Fantasy Springs" expansion, continues Disney's initiative of creating lands inspired by the Frozen franchise. Following the debut of "World of Frozen" at Hong Kong Disneyland in November 2023, "Frozen Kingdom" opened in June 2024, featuring additional sub-lands based on Tangled and Peter Pan. The highlight of "Frozen Kingdom" is the "Frozen Ever After" attraction, known here as "Anna and Elsa's Frozen Journey," which first premiered at Epcot in 2016 as a retheme of Norway's "Maelstrom" attraction. Beyond the additional themed dining and entertainment, this land features area-specific trash cans. These cans start with a black base and are adorned with a faux wood panel texture. Unlike the more extensive wood-like patterns found in Disneyland's Frontierland, Magic Kingdom's Storybook Circus, or the American Waterfront (also in Tokyo DisneySea), the texture here is less encompassing, focused only on the side panels. Front panel design features a striking gold crocus bulb, symbolizing the royal family of Arendelle from the Frozen films, set within a symmetrical floral motif with white, green, and purple accents. While the design is impressive, a full graphic wrap extending beyond the side panels could have further enhanced the thematic experience. Nevertheless, the attention to detail reflects the Tokyo parks' commitment to immersive land theming - especially given that there is also an overall "Fantasy Springs" can design, as well as designs for the other sub-lands. Well done. // Tokyo Disney Resort, Tokyo DisneySea, Fantasy Springs, Frozen Kingdom, 2024 [Source: maple_photogram. Used by Permission.]

Hi, I was the anon that had brought up the high seas adventure!! I'm glad you took interest in it, and hearing your ramblings to add onto it just made me imagine so many fun things! (Poor Eddie, haha. With your description, I just imagine a dog trying to stand up in a moving car.) Ohh, now I imagine a case where the ship wrecks and their stranded for a few days until another rescue ship comes! Perhaps on an island?? I hope some of them know how to hunt!
the very first thing that came to mind was Eddie sobbing while pointing one of Howdy's guns at a crab. Sally just comes up & stabs it through the shell before taking it back to the fire for eating. Eddie collapses to his knees, wracked with guilt-

I like the modern fantasy concept of gods and monsters adapting to the modern world and finding new ways to thrive:
Once an obscure god of fertility and abundance, this jaguar decided to try gathering a different sort of worship.
The luxury resort under his care ensures that he now has devotees all over the world. His powers ensure that the surroundings stay lush and vibrant, and that the top-notch cuisine is in plentiful supply. His high standard of service keeps customers coming back year after year, for what is a five-star review but a paean of highest praise? (He makes sure his employees are treated well, too - a god must never neglect the attendants in his temple, after all.)
So come enjoy a weekend, or a week or two. Bask in the bright sunlight, swim in the sparkling waters, walk the verdant jungle trails. Feast on the local delicacies and savor each mouthful of the luscious fruits grown just a few miles away. He's more than happy to bless the people who make the proper sacrifices (hotel fees), so do please tell your friends~
