THE PLOT: I believe this is one of the best plots I have seen in awhile, the premise is good but I jumped straight to the third chapter (because I - personally - am not a very patient person to read long foreplay scenes until we get to the part where the story gets going). It has a traditional plot and doesn't have a huge climax built around the main, child, character. It might feel a little numb if you are into heart wrecking plot twists.

REVIEW: ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ (8/10).

GRAMMAR & COHESION: It is a very coherent story, although some parts we feel like missing something because the story's pace is a fast type. I can't tell for certain if the author's first language is English but based on my own "English is not my first language" writing, I think they might be, for some errors I still make even nowadays.

REVIEW: ☆☆☆☆☆☆ (6/10).

FORMATTING: Even if the grammar might be a little out of place, the story is well formatted, the paragraphs well defined and DEFINITELY a YES if you love stories where there are little to no massive paragraphs with direct dialogue mixed into it. Everything is well separated and easy to read.

REVIEW: ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ (9/10).

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT: Do you know what is rarer than dancing with a watermelon in you head? Finding a story where Mikoto is the bitch and Fugaku is a good father; now this is the one in a million finding I intend to keep close to my heart. After everything Mikoto also had a redemption of sorts, even though it isn't explicitly showed + the conflict of Naruto's lost making him be thoughtful of Mikoto even when she is putting him through hell hit too close to home for me lol.

Having hung up the phone, Sakura groaned. Everyone but her was getting laid. Then she jumped, startled as the cordless phone in her hand suddenly rang. It was her mother, reminding her to water the garden. She always worried about that, and Sakura always needed reminding.

The pinkette rolled her eyes. 'You and your shrubs, mother.'

Her parents were visiting friends for a few days, which at least gave Sakura some freedom for a while. So, she left the house and walked around the side to grab the hose. She was wearing short shorts and a small singlet, showing off her shape. She never tanned easily, just burnt in the sun. In the corner of her eye, she noted that Sasuke and Naruto were still in the Uchiha front yard, now both staring at her. They did this quite often. Naruto leant against the patio railing, while Sasuke stood rigidly in the shadow of the tree – both just watching her. She did not appreciate being turned into a spectacle, especially by two hot guys who didn't have the decency to speak to her instead of ogling!

But despite her annoyance at their stares, she had never once gone over there and berated them for it. Was she scared of them? They were both so popular at school that one bad word out of her mouth would send an army of fan girls to her house with pitchforks and flame torches. She shivered involuntarily.

But they wouldn't stop staring. Sakura hosed down the carnations and sunflowers (or whatever flower that was, that her mother was into this month) and spun around to face her audience. Sasuke's face remained impassive but even from this distance she could see the grin spreading across Naruto's.

'That is it!'

Fuming, Sakura stalked over to them. "What the hell do you two think you're staring at?"

"You," Sasuke said, nonchalantly and Naruto chuckled.

"Well, stop it!"

"No." The raven haired boy did not look intimidated by her, or offended. Naruto continued to grin at her.

She frowned. "Why not?"

Sasuke sighed and the blonde answered for him. "Because you're so fucking hot."

She felt her jaw drop. 'W-what did you say?"

Naruto jumped over the patio railing and landed lithely on the ground next to his friend. "I said you're hot. Only an idiot wouldn't want to fuck you."

That inner voice of hers flared up.

'Oh really, then why have neither of you tried?'

But outside of her head, she didn't know what to say. She was frustrated at their behaviour and a little turned on by the expressions they were both now casting her way, but the strongest sensation was the dancing butterflies forming in her stomach.

Sasuke saved her. "Naruto and I are best friends. We have been since before we could pronounce the words properly. So when we both saw you when you first moved in and both wanted to fuck you, we couldn't. Do you see the dilemma?"

Sasuke smiled. She had yet to see him do that. It was always boredom, irritation or a smirk on his face. "It seems we've reached an impasse," he stated. "And there's only one option left, other than pretending from here on out, that you don't exist."

"Which is very difficult," Naruto added, his eyes raking her body. "Especially when you're dressed like that." He indicated to her skimpy clothes and she narrowed her eyes at him warningly.

He grinned. "All we're saying is this needs an immediate resolution."

Sakura felt suddenly wary. "What kind of resolution?"

"A three-way," Sasuke said matter-of-factly, making the pinkette blush profusely.

"Or one at a time," Naruto interjected, "if the idea of a threesome creeps you out."

He smirked. "So you'd prefer something a bit more sweet?"

"Yep."

"I can't stand anything too sweet," he said, watching her raid his fridge, expressionless.

His eyes trailed over her body instinctively, but what was taking centre stage in his mind was the fluttering of his heart. Naruto had clearly left, but had sent Sasuke a text that he'd scratched his itch. It meant that he was returning to trying to seduce Hinata Hyuuga. The girl was virginal, beautiful and had favourably sized breasts. The downside? She was high society, and for Naruto, 'untouchable'. Sasuke had never seen Naruto and Hinata in the same room together, so he wasn't sure if the Hyuuga would go for his friend or not. Still, he wished his best mate good luck.

And of course, that meant that if he wanted to, Sasuke could have Sakura all to himself. He really wanted to. He couldn't explain his need for her with words. He knew now that he had feelings for her. But how deep could they possibly run? After all, he didn't actually know her all that well, if at all.

"Are you okay, Sasuke?" Sakura asked realising the Uchiha was deep in thought.

He just nodded, so she ate her meal quietly. He kept his eyes on her the whole time, and she was reminded of how he and Naruto had been staring at her outside this house. She pushed her plate away.

"So, it's back to the whole staring thing again, huh?" She asked, pouting but not actually annoyed.

Sasuke smirked. "Hn. You're still wearing that outfit."

"It's a singlet and shorts Sasuke, it's hardly an outfit."

"Well, it's turning me on, either way."

She rolled her eyes. "I'm not fucking you again."

He sighed, disappointed. "While sleeping with you again, is definitely on my mind, there's something else I wanted to ask you."

"What is it?"

"My father's hosting the policeman's ball this weekend –"

"And what, you want me to be your date?"

He shook his head. "No."

"Then what –"

"I never go to those stupid dances," he said matter-of-factly. "Itachi does. I wanted to know if you'll go out with me, somewhere far, far away from the ridiculous ball."

Sakura stood up, walked over to him, and stopped only a few inches away. "You want me to be your girlfriend?"

"Forget it!" He snapped. "If you're going to be sarcastic about it –"

She cut him off with a kiss, throwing her arms around his neck and hesitating only for a moment, Sasuke returned the kiss, his hands falling to her waist. She tantalized him with her tongue, sending shivers down his spine. Okay, he was falling for her, but these emotions were still confusing to him. He had never been in love before….

Sakura pulled out of the kiss and rested her forehead on his. "What about that speech you and Naruto gave me about how friends come first?"

"Well, Naruto's gone back to trying to seduce Hinata Hyuuga."

"Really?"

"Hn."

"Who's Hinata Hyuuga?"

Sasuke laughed softly. "I forgot you're new in town. You haven't heard about the Hyuuga family?"

"The family yes, but not Hinata. None of their names are familiar to me."

"Well anyway," he said, not wanting to dwell on that. "Will you go out with me?"

"Oh yes Sasuke-kun, most definitely, yes."

He leant in to kiss her again and lifted her up to sit on the kitchen table. Despite her earlier comment, Sasuke was suddenly hard, and lowered his hand to caress her clothed breasts. She moaned into his mouth, her lips parted to let him in. He really wanted it, right now, so to coax her he rubbed her nipples with both thumbs, in circular motions. Sakura lifted his head to look in his eyes. "That's what you get for not asking for permission first."

She'd noted his extreme fatigue and laced her words with sarcasm, but her mouth twitched into a seductive smile and he returned the affection.

"Come on," he said, kissing her swiftly and pulling away. "Let's go up to my room."

Sakura narrowed her eyes at him, trying to figure out what he was planning, as she slid off the table and fixed her clothes.

Sasuke smirked. "Don't worry, I won't be trying that again for today. But my house has air-conditioning, and better yet, my bed still smells of sex."

She rolled her eyes. "Alright, but just keep her hands and… other things where they should be."

He grinned at her wickedly and having turned away from him, she didn't notice the mischievous glint in his eyes.

1. What ship were you completely obsessed with when you were a teenager, but now you don't care anymore?

There were some k-pop ships I used to ship but as time went by I just stopped. Maybe because I’m not as much into k-pop as I used to be.

I also don’t ship any of Hetalia’s characters anymore.

2. Which ship would you consider your first one?

Stella and Brandon from Winx Club or Kevin and Gewn from Ben 10: Alien Force. That was even before I was aware of what shipping was.

While I was aware, I think it was Shizaya? Durarara was one of the first animes I watched. And Heiwajima Shizuo and Orihara Izaya's love-hate relationship was so good for a 12-year-old me.

Or it could be SasuNaru…

3. Your first fanfic belonged to which couple?

Written it was Merciless. 

But read? That was so long time ago...

I remember I found some Ben 10 stories on the Internet and I read a lot of them as a kid.

But when I read and I was aware I was reading fanfics it was most likely SasuNaru or Darry. It was most likely still on Wattpad or fanfiction.net. On or those self-publishing blogs. Those were popular back then.

4. Do you remember the first couple you saw a fanart over?

Probably SasuNaru. Or another ship that was popular at the beginning of the 2010s.

5. Did you ever get into ship discourse?

I try not to. I mostly believe that fiction is fiction and when I don't like something I just don't read it.

I like to read people's points of view though.

6. Did you used to have any no-otp or have it currently?

Not really. I used to hate UkFrance from Hetalia but now I just don't care. And I never really shipped Destiel. But I'm not sure I would call them a no-otp.

7. Who were the couple in the last fanfic you read?

A new chapter of Merciless fic that I'm always waiting for was published. It's called Hidsight by duty_free. AND IT'S AWESOME, GO READ IT. It's a wonderful continuation to The Merciless that can actually fix those two morons (I have hope, it's still ongoing)

Before it, my friend @frayed-at-the-seams published her fic about Junho and Hoyeol from D.P. It's called Dogs and Cats. It's an interesting supernatural spin on the original story and it allows Junho and Hoyeol to be cute ❤️

Zeke x Levi from Shingeki no Kyojin. I used to not be much into it but there is an amazing reincarnation comic AU on twitter (here) with them and I have to say that they have a potential.

11. Do you have any ship that, in the past, was considered normal but now you would be canceled over?

Not sure... There were some ships that I wasn't aware of age. I don't mind ships with big age differences but I like for both parties to be over 18.

So maybe as an example Levi x Eren? Eren was 15 and now looking back I'm not sure if I would ship it. 

12. What was your favorite crack ship?

Tried to think of something but my head is empty. I don't believe I don't have any crack ships!

13. Who is the couple you read more fanfics of?

Shizaya, GinHiji or ChanBaek. They have big fandoms so I could just move from one fic to another. 

Also YoonMin. I used to ship them a lot but now not really but I read a lot of fics with them.

14. What most of your ships usually have in common?

They usually banter or tease each other. Those love-hate relationships are my favorites. And more of them lately have an age difference.

15. What you absolutely hate in a ship?

Lack of chemistry? I hate too much drama but also don't like where everything is fine. And cheating.

funnily enough…i can never reread stories, so although i’ve never revisited them, i do remember them…but i never remember their names…plot wise i remember a few from fanfiction.net. there’s this one i read YEARS ago. this team taka story i adore (it makes me want to write a story for them), tsunade adopting naruto is also a nice one, i haven’t read many sasunaru stories but i also liked this one. the same can be said for inohina! these ones are also from my bookmarks, both sasuhina :) one and two. i don’t read many fanfics these days though, i just stick to thinking up some plotlines for stories i want to explore, so i’m sorry there isn’t very many. a lot of the old stuff i read was either taken down or are now under different names and i can’t find it.

How is Ao3 so good?

Why does fanfiction on Archive of our Own have a different vibe from other sites like wattpad or fanfiction.net? What seperates these sites but determines ao3 the overall victor in whatever competion these three websites are placed in? What makes people pale in the face as soon as you mention this sites name in public? Is it the way ao3 is formatted in such a way that you can move a fanfic from quora to ao3 and it just lookw better in quality? Is it because we know ao3 is a non-profit site eith no ads and that immediately makes it better than wattpad? Is it because of that one sasunaru fanfic writer that has been posting sasunaru fanfics since 2013 and is still active today? Is it because of the infamous tale of STWW that brought it so much fame?

Well... the reason I bring your attention to this post is to bring your attention to ao3's superior tagging system! You can put literally anything in the tags, and chances are that 7 out of 10 people have read all of them. It's so easy to use! Mainly because you can literally just filter out the stuff you don't want(if they're tagged correctly, of course). YOU CAN SEARCH DIRECTLY FROM THE TAGS YOU LIKE! can you do this on Wattpad? Yes, but to a lesser extent.

All im saying is that once you go on ao3 there's no going back.

There was a perfect spot, at the top of the highest hill, about 5 minutes away from the town, that you could lay on and see every star above Konoha.

Naruto was frequently there. He had found it back when he was young, he ad Sasuke actually use to play here growing up. Now, whenever he couldn’t sleep or just needed a break, this is where he would go to clear his busy head.

Tonight was one of those nights, he couldn’t sleep, he couldn’t even close his eyes.

After making a mug of his favourite tea, showering, reading, and watching t.v he had finally given up. The glowing red numbers of the alarm clock on his windowsill read 3:47AM.

With a sigh, he rolled out of bed, still in sweat pants and an old navy blue t-shirt that he thinks may have been Sasuke’s that he left here once.

Pulling on his shoes, the blond closed his eyes and thought about Sasuke, just for a moment, allowing himself to think of the better sleep he would have if he had been in bed with him. But that’s a wish meant for shooting stars, not reality.

They were best friends and that’s all they will ever be. Naruto had believed once that his feelings could be returned, but Sasuke doesn’t do relationships. He has never shown a liking to anyone, he hardly even glanced at the other students in the school, Naruto is lucky to even be his friend.

After locking the front door, Naruto put his hands in his pockets and strolled down the dimly lit, empty street. The entire town is completely silent except for the songs the crickets are singing into the night. Its a different feeling, walking these streets at night when they are usually filled with people coming and going. For a small town, everyone kept very busy. It was different, it was nice, very peaceful.

Walking through the gates to the town, and following the little trail to the hill, he already felt much better. His mind focusing on simple things like the way the grass flows in the breeze, or the way that the rocks move under his shoes when he walks.

The top of the hill is full of soft grass, covering a fairly large area of land. There were no rocks and it was fairly flat, a few wild flowers had poked up in a few areas, their purple petals looking black in the nighttime.

Laying down, he put his hands up behind his head, looking up into the starry night.

He had come to learn many of the constellations and would always look for them to make sure he still remembered where they were in the sky. Shooting stars would fall some nights, sometimes more than others, sometimes not at all. The falling stars were always Narutos favourite. He loved the rush of spotting one and watching it fall, all in mere seconds.

Tonight was no different. Watching for stars, no clouds in the sky, taking in the scenery. From where he sat, he could see a majority of the little town, the lights shining, but not bright enough to wash the stars out of the sky.

Suddenly, he heard the crack of a twig.

Jumping up, the last person he expected to see was his raven-haired best friend.

"Sasuke? I thought you were asleep? What are you doing up? Are you okay?"

Dressed in black sweat pants and a big orange hoodie, he looked like he had just crawled out of bed. Maybe he had.

"What’s with all the questions? I couldn’t sleep." He shrugged and sat next to Naruto.

It wasn’t very often the two boys came here together. Mostly when they were younger, but not since they’ve become teenagers. They were almost 21 now, both attending the same collage near town, carpooling to classes so they didn’t have to drive the 45 minutes alone plus save gas. They enjoyed each other’s company though, so it was perfectly okay.

He glanced over at Sasuke who was now laying how Naruto had been before he showed up. He laid back with his friend.

"I didn’t know you still came here" He sounded a bit sleepy, his voice raspy.

"I never stopped. It’s my favourite spot to come when I need to breathe."

Sasuke just made a sound of agreement to that. The blonde eyed him carefully.

"I’m surprised you remembered it, its been awhile." This made Sasuke turn his head to meet Narutos eyes, studying them for a moment.

"I’d never forget." He moved his head back to look up to the stars again, not noticing the adoring eyes the blonde was giving him.

Naruto knew that his best friends memory was much better than his own or anyone else’s for that matter; but it still surprised him when he showed interest in the things he did. They knew everything about each other, they knew how they preferred coffee or tea and how they took it; they knew what shows comforted the other and when to put them on; they knew right down to the exact second the other got anxious and restless and what to do about it. So really, its no surprise that he knew Naruto couldn’t sleep.

"What’s keeping you awake tonight?" Sasuke knew something was up with the blonde, he knew he couldn’t sleep often but tonight he was acting different.

"Mind just kept wandering I guess." Sneaking a glance over to Sasuke, he took in the way the moonlight enhanced his soft features. He was absolutely breathtaking in this lighting, in any lighting.

"Hn, why you staring at me?" Now he was still looking at the sky, but with a smug grin across his face. Red danced across Naruto’s face as he turned back to the sky quickly.

"Sorry, I didn’t mean to. Just happy you’re here I guess." His heart was pounding now.

"You are?"

"You know I am, asshole."

"It’s nice to hear it. Anything else you want to say?" What was he asking?

"No, I-I’m good." There was lots he wanted to say to the black-haired boy but he was entirely unsure of if he should. He could ruin everything he had with his best friend.

"Liar. Look, a shooting star." Both boys looked up in awe, watching the star shoot through the sky and out of sight.

"Make a wish?"

"Should I have?"

"Sasuke! They’re wishing stars for a reason!"

"I guess so, maybe ill make a wish next star" He already knew what he would wish for, its the same thing he had been wishing for since he first met the blonde.

With that, another star flashed across the sky.

"Make a wish Sas!"

Eyes closed, both boys unknowingly made the same wish.

"Did you make one?" Naruto was surprisingly bubbly for it being almost 5:00AM.

"I did, Naru, I did."

They both glanced over at each other, looking into one another’s eyes, maybe for a bit too long. Taking in each other’s presence, how much they enjoyed these moments, completely alone, only the stars watching them.

Sasuke had a weird look in his eye, his brow furrowed slightly, almost contemplating something. That’s when he noticed him turning, propping himself up onto his elbow, looking down into bright blue eyes.

"W-What?"

His breath got caught in his throat when he noticed Sasuke leaning down to him, his nose almost touching his own. Their eyes locked on each other, glancing down to the other boys lips momentarily. Sasuke didn’t miss seeing his friends tongue wet his lips gently. He couldn’t stop himself anymore, he couldn’t hold back anymore.

With one last glance, warm lips touched his own with so much love and passion that he forgot everything else that had even been on his mind.

All the stress, the worries, every problem that kept him awake at night, suddenly gone. Even if only for a few moments.

Their lips in sync, hands gripped into one another’s hair. It felt like forever waiting for this moment.

Staying in each other’s embraces, they pulled back slightly. Sasuke got a clear look at the blushing blonde under him. Naruto curled his fingers around the back of the other boys neck and pulled him back down for another long kiss.

"I guess wishes do come true."

"Hm, I suppose so." A smile played at the corners of his lips, you could see the happiness radiating off him.

"I’ve been waiting for this for so long. I can’t believe we waited this long." Sasuke pecked his lips again and hummed in agreement.

"Let’s go to bed, you need sleep. Your place or mine?" It wasn’t unusual for them to sleep together, but now it was different. This was no longer just a sleepover after being up late doing a project.

They decided on Sasuke’s place and walked bak through the empty streets, hand in hand, unable to contain the happiness both of them were feeling. The happiness only to increase as they finally got to do all the things couples do, the things they’ve been waiting years to do to one another.

They waited forever for this.

Now, they just had forever to go.
