Fun fact is that this blog was originally made with only an OP verse, because that was the fandom I used to write in (my first rp blogs were OP blogs). I'm sorry I haven't made his verse info more accessible! :O I'll make it accessible on mobile when I have time. All verse info can be viewed on my blog (desktop only), on the "About/Verses" star. Nnoitra's OP verse is called BLOOD & THE MOON.

Here is the lore/backstory for his verse! -

Nnoitra was born on a desert-island in South Blue. His hometown was very small one, the kind where everyone knows everyone. He lived there with his parents, and his older brother, Shinji.

This particular island had a reputation of producing strong fighters, who often turned out to be either marines, pirates, bounty-hunters or warriors.

Already as a child, it was clear that Nnoitra had a talent far exceeding anyone else’s. He towered over the other children with more than a head, and even his older brother was shorter than him.

At fourteen, nobody could beat him at anything.

This didn’t make him happy, on the contrary. He wanted to become stronger and stronger, until his name reached the heavens. But nobody on the island could teach him anything more than what he already knew. So, how was he to improve?

For a couple of years, Nnoitra walked around with the thought of leaving his home town. But he did love his parents and his brother, and if possible, he would like to stay with them.

It was around this time that the marines began to see an interest in Nnoitra. Even though he was just a young teenager, they thought he had potential. Since this island often bred good marines, it was only natural that they kept an eye out.

Late one night, a wounded sorcerer arrived at the island. The townsfolk thought he was just a silly old man who could do some magic-tricks, and Nnoitra would’ve thought so too, if the man hadn’t asked him: “Do you want to become stronger?” Of course, Nnoitra’s answer to this was “Yes!”.

And so, the old man sat up a campfire a little out of town, and brought Nnoitra there. This was where Nnoitra traded part of his soul for powers. Nnoitra felt a sharp pain in his head, and a cold sensation, like half his head was filled with snow.

Trading part of his soul allowed Nnoitra to gain physical abilities way beyond his dreams. He was now able to use Rokushiki perfectly. The most special ability he gained was his Tekkai, because he doesn’t need to stand still to use it.

Who did he trade his soul with? He traded them with the god of Despair. So, he gained physical abilities, and had to give up a part of his soul, and his left eye. After this, he had a hole in his head, which he was quick to hide with the big eyepatch he currently wears.

What Nnoitra didn’t know, was that this old sorcerer was in fact a wanted man, who had been hunted by the marines for decades. And they caught on to him. Soon, battleships were closing in on the little island. The people in the village quickly figured out that the sudden attack on their island had to be connected to the mysterious, old man showing up. And they wanted to give him up to the marines. But Nnoitra refused, of course he did. This man had allowed him to grow even stronger, and turning him in to the government was something only a coward would do. He had a big fight with his parents and brother, and the rest of the town about this matter.

In the end, he decided to try and help the sorcerer off the island. He left the village, and together with the old man, they headed to the other side of the island to find a boat. He did manage to send him off, and he has never seen him since.

When he returned to the village, everything was chaos. All the houses burnt down, and everyone. Everyone was dead. He dug the bullets out of his brother’s body, but it was too late.

Of course, Nnoitra blamed himself for this, why wouldn’t he? And truly, it was his fault, though, he didn’t know that. For the first time in his life, he wanted to die.

What he didn’t know, was that this was a gift to him. A gift from the God of Despair. Since he lacked part of his soul, the God thought it only proper that it should be replaced with Despair. Even today, Nnoitra has not gotten rid of the Despair he felt that day.

Nnoitra has learned to live with Despair, and it has become an important part of him.

Nnoitra didn’t kill himself that day, but he was stuck with a deathwish. Deep down, Nnoitra still wants to die.

He left the island shortly after everyone was dead, and he headed straight for the Grand Line. He did what he had to survive. But, during his travels, his heart grew heavy, and the guild tried to eat him up.

On a desert island, which reminded him very much of his home, he decided to end it. He picked up his knife (at that time was always carrying a knife and a sword), and placed it over his heart. As the blade pierced his skin, it disappeared, and a person appeared in front of him. The person looked to be made out of pure darkness. He couldn’t tell if it was male or female, human or not. It didn’t say anything, it just dragged Nnoitra forcefully to his feet, and put its hand on his bleeding chest, stopping the blood. And then, it turned into a huge weapon. The Santa Teresa he carries around today.

That was the first and final time Nnoitra tried to kill himself. He didn’t want that kind of pathetic death. He didn’t want to die by his own hand. No. A strong fighter like himself should die in a battle. He should fight ‘til the death. That was how he wanted his life to end, and it still is. For years, Nnoitra travelled the Grand Line, and mostly specialised in bounty hunting, but he soon grew bored with that.

After having seen a lot of the world, he was convinced that the strongest people were pirates, and so, he wished to become one himself. He is now on the lookout for a strong crew he can join, so that he might enjoy tougher battles, and finally... Find someone stronger than him, who can end it all. ]

For me I like to have chemistry for a ship to work. Like give me a reason to want to ship them. Shoot back when I first made this blog (see pinned post) and even before then when Hatsumi had her own blog there were two muns that I shipped their chars so hard because of the chemistry I saw between them. Droovey and Aaro Octopi (not using their blog names to save them lol) were fun to watch.

If I feel my character falling for someone through rp actions I generally say something. It's happened a few times and will undoubtedly happen again. I really miss my Bururi ship. C'est la vie.

There are a few ships in this Fandom I do not like, ya'll are free to ship whoever you want not my ball not my court, doesn't effect me unless you try to force it on me.

Nnoinel is one of those ships I don't like, and one my Nnoi just hates. DO NOT FORCE THIS ON ME, PLEASE.

//okay okay here it is kids--- the NNOI/NEL EXPLANATION! okay now before you all freak out like GUUUH VIRAL SHIPS THE HELL SHIP TM BURN HIM, lemme clarify; i do not romantically ship nnoitra/nel, nor so i believe their relationship in any way was romantic or healthy. period. however, i do not believe their relationship is as simple as them both hating each other--- i feel like theres a lot of more complicated emotions involved and there’s a lot of shit going on between the two. 

lets start out with something the fandom seems to fail to realize often; THE RELATIONSHIP IS MUTUALLY ABUSIVE. nnoitra manifesting in physical aggression, and nel using a lot of verbal abuse. nnoitra’s form is really obvious, i dont really need to explain that, but nel? OOOOH BOY. like a big part of me is sick of seeing nel be made out to be a ANGEL WHO DID NOTHING AND WAS AT NO FAULT. because nnoitra attacking her and hating her is not just because shes female. case in point, he doesn’t attack harribel. just nel. nnoitra hates her because of the way she has treated him and degraded him. she literally CALLS HIM AN ANIMAL THAT ISNT EVEN WORTH HER TIME, constantly verbally bashes him, and degrades him to being not a warrior and hes not good enough. hmmm... now i dont know about you, but that sure would hurt my feelings. not to mention nnoitra literally verbally says that her behavior deeply hurts him and it’s something he’s never gotten over. like genuinely. he holds onto that shit until he dies and its one of the last things he thinks about. 

okay now! i view their relationship being based on obsession with each other, not romance. i feel like they both had a strong attraction to each other, but not romantic; more of a pull. as much as they both hate each other, the can’t stay away from each other--- backed by the fact nel frequently saves him and follows him, even though she claims she doesnt care. FOR CHRISTS SAKE THEY BOTH STOP THEIR SWORDS AT THE SAME TIME. nnoi claims he stopped bc she did, but NO HE FUCKING DIDNT HE SAYS CANONLY HE SHOWS NO ONE ANY MERCY AND HE DOESNT FIGHT FAIR BC THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A FAIR FIGHT. now im not saying you guys have to ship something, im not saying that at all. all im saying is the relationship is far more complicated than just hate, and its not as black and white as a lot of people make it out to be. thats it im done now.

New year thingy late af as usual

SO. I KNOW IM LATE. NEW YEAR WAS 3 DAYS AGO. but you’ll forgive me because you all love me ( right ?? ) anyway!! Even with Noya jfc. She’s the kind of character that can pretty much interact with anyone, she would be a very canon One Piece character too, in my opinion.       well to start off, if it wasn’t for my friends, i would have never gotten into bleach as a whole. i started with bleach: brave souls & slowly worked my way into the fandom via the anime & pretty soon, the manga . 

      i picked him up as a muse at first because, initially, his outward appearance was very pleasing to me. he had something just naturally sinister about him that kind of just pulled me in. see, i’m always drawn into the more villainous / neutral characters because i feel like their reasons for being what they are is much more interesting. i like bad muses, i like unpredictable muses, because they just seem like they would be more fun to expand on. 

      not that i have anything against the “good guy” muses who are what they are for the greater good or what have you. those muses are vital to me because it gives balance to my twisted muses & also just gives me a reason to be the bad guy.  but any ways … 

      but nnoitora in particular was just very pleasing to me as a villain. i don’t really find him relatable, but i do find him as a bit of an outlet, if that makes sense. he’s an outlet in that i could put any of my asshole-ish tendencies here & it would still work. i’m also a little sympathetic for nnoi because it’s more or less in his nature to just hate people for being strong, & he’s just a very sad individual who could have had SO MUCH potential but it’s a matter of of just too little, too late. he’s too stubborn to change his ways & that inevitably leads to his end, & in a way it made me feel sorry for him. i’ve kind of grown attached to him as i’ve developed & solidified his canon, i don’t know, in the end, he’s terrible & i like terrible muses i guess.

Nickname: Nnoi, babe .

Gender: Male.

Romantic orientation: Grey-romantic.

Preferred pet names: He’s not a fan, but he accepts that Grimmjow likes to call him ‘ babe ‘. The only thing he likes about that pet-name is that at least he knows Grimmjow isn’t mad at him or anything like that.

Relationship status: In a relationship with Grimmjow since August 2017.

Favourite canon/fandom ship: Nnoitra / Grimmjow, but only thanks to Lexie’s Grimmjow. This ship actually used to be on my NOTP list, until Nnoitra met Lexie’s Grimmjow who he clicked so well with. I’ve never really had any ships for Nnoitra.

Favourite crossover ship: Like I said, I’ve never really had any ships for Nnoitra, though I’ve had good ships with Nnoitra and two OCs.

Opinion on true love: Nnoitra believes that true love is something that can only happen if both parties have seen each other’s worst sides. If someone will love you after seeing your monster side? Then it’s real.

Opinion on love at first sight: Nnoitra doesn’t believe in this, having never felt love at first sight ( though he has felt physical attraction ). Nnoitra is the sort of person who needs to establish a close relationship with someone before love can form.

How ‘romantic’ are they?: He’s hardly romantic at all. Nnoitra sees most romantic gestures as too ‘ girly ‘ or deems showing feelings as a weakness. His love-language is not romantic.

Ideal physical traits: He doesn’t really have a ‘ type ‘ when it comes to the physical. For women, he prefers them to have big breasts, and overall that ‘sexy woman’-body type. He likes his women to have long hair and full lips. He prefers for them not to wear too much make-up. When it comes to guys - he prefers them to be as ‘ manly ‘ as possible. A strong body, a strong jawline, rough skin, short hair. He’s also a big fan of tattoos.

Ideal personality traits: Someone who is funny, and has strong believes. Nnoitra likes brave people. He also needs people to be patient with him, and understanding. He needs to be with someone who can handle his own personality.

Unattractive physical traits: Skinny people (of either gender), bony frames, small eyes, big teeth, small ears, small feet. He also doesn’t like it when people are too far apart from him in weight. The heavier the less attracted he is (simply because he is jealous). 

Unattractive personality traits: Weaklings, crybabies, know-it-alls. Nnoitra wouldn’t like being with someone who had to ‘test’ him all the time.

Ideal date: His ideal date would definitely be a walk in the woods. Nnoitra actually loves being out in nature (even though he rarely gets to go). Going for a long walk until darkness falls, and then have outdoor-sex under a moonlit sky.

Do they have a type?:  No. Nnoitra can feel attracted to different type of people. The most important thing is that they ‘accept’ him, and are willing to work with - or deal with - his personality. 

Average relationship length: Nnoitra has only been in two serious relationships in his life. The first one lasted 2 years, and the one he is in now is on its 3rd year.

Preferred non-sexual intimacy: Hair play. Either giving or receiving. Nnoitra tends to touch Grimmjow’s hair a lot. He also likes cupping his face or touching his neck.

Commitment level: 100%. Nnoitra is incredibly possessive and would never want to share. It’s not easy for him to fall in love, but once his feelings are formed, they are deep. He gets attached to his partner on an almost unhealthy level, and would never look elsewhere. 

Opinion of public affection: He would love to do it - but he won’t. He’s too paranoid that being in a relationship with him will make Grimmjow a target for hate-crime. Thus he hardly ever does anything affectionate in public. He’ll accept holding hands if the street is empty. He’ll also do little things, like walk closest to the road to keep Grimmjow safe, stand extra close to him in lines and have their shoulders touch briefly when they walk side-by-side. He wants to be close to him. He just can’t. 

 Past relationships?: He dated Kyota (written by Nicola) for 2 years, and after that he’s been dating Grimmjow.
