the thing about not having a television in my room is that for years i used to watch everything in my phone when i want to lay in bed and sometimes watching stuff on my computer / an actual tv is just. feels wrong?

#like last july i bought a laptop besides my desktop computer #and i’ve been talking with my mom about having a television in my room #but at the same time i’m so USED of watching everything on my phone for like. YEARS #it’s a wild concept to me that people like. turn on their tv’s instead of like looking at the little screen on their phones #like i binged the entirety of gilmore girls on my phone alone / same with modern family #i barely even watches the tv in the living room i always feels slightly uncomfortable doing so #it’s makes absolutely no sense but i guess i just used of watching everything privately #idk maybe i do need to get a television for my room but i’m afraid i barely be using it because i’m so used of watching everything #in a certain way for YEARS now #or speaks now

so sad but trying to be so brave about it

#tomorrow my sister will leave and then the next time i see her it will be the last time i see her for a very long time #and i just found out that my brother convinced dad to let him stay in our hometown by saying that he'll live in the hostel #of his college #and ill be here #he's 18 i guess it is time. i just thought i had one more year with him #even tho all we do is argue and fight #but also binge watch entire 11 seasons of modern family together #i know he needs this experience to grow up and also he really needs to stay away from parents and truly learn about friendship and love #but like wow i can't even imagine a house without him #maybe all three of us in different places is the experience we need to grow up and be better people #i know i need to be better too a lot better #maybe hopefully it'll be okay?#having siblings is real fuckinh weird man #because you're fighting over charging points and thinking ugh i want to be alone i need space i need my own room #and then they leave and you're like wait no come back let's fight forever
