can you tell us about how Wilbur, Phil, and Kristen were like before the apocalypse?
They Vibed
Agahsg Idk how to describe it lmaooo my only experience with families are very asian
Kristin is a bit more busy than Phil, given her profession, but she still makes time to hang out with them. Breakfast and Lunch they can keep to themselves if they're busy, but there has to be at least two people at the table for dinner. Three if Kristin doesn't have to work late. Wilbur was never really into sports, but he really liked music and geography, so instead of going to see sports games and stuff, they'd take him to concerts or museums or aquariums. They were very supportive of him, and always took the chance to show him off (/lh). ("Look who it is! My favorite son!")("Mom, I'm your only son") Wilbur can't really cook well (though he's still a lot better than Phil) so for birthdays or mother/father's day, instead of making a breakfast in bed, when he was younger he'd come up to them and start singing songs he'd come up with. Phil has them recorded and uploaded to a USB drive, which they had to leave when the apocalypse came. He called it memories. Wilbur called it blackmail material. It used to be Kristin who sang the lullaby to him when he was younger, Phil making the excuse that his singing would probably do the opposite of putting him to sleep. Sometimes though, he'd carry Wilbur in his arms and start rocking him by the window, humming the lullaby. They fought sometimes but never anything they couldn't come back from. Wilbur isn't at that age yet when he has to worry about anything life changing. As he grew older, there were some things that were left in the past, like the lullaby, but that's alright. There are some things you outgrow, you can't help it. Moments in the apocalypse though, late at night, he finds himself humming the tune. Not quite remembering the words, but still feeling the rush of nostalgia and subsequent longing.

Long story short my friend made me watch Bluey and he has the HUGEST crush on Bandit so I constantly made fun of him for having a crush on a square dog then felt bad for it so I drew him as an anthro with the body type I think he'd have/that my friend is into to compensate for all the teasing
Its still pretty funny tho
Yeh that's how this happened and i absolutely did not put effort into it but uh it turned out ok i think
Anyway i love Bluey. It's so charming and wholesome and surprisingly slice-of-lifey for a kids show. I watch an ep or two before bed and it really does make me smile so i just wanted to post smth bluey related

Sorry this is a side-blog so I can't reply/send asks
BUT I AM ALWAYS HAPPY TO SEE OTHERS GET INTERESTED IN THIS DUMB DYNAMIC I LOVE!
Roddy and Galvs had a lot of parallels I feel and don't often see them pointed out, combined with the fact Galvatron saw this little Autobot runt show up inside Unicron but still wanted to reach out against their 'common enemy' gets me feeling.
Plus the fact this "no-name runt" actually did it and subdued Unicron? Fucking superb you funky little fire car!
