For all Mankind 3x07 Bring it Down. The fact that Margo went from hardly being able to even face him in 3x05 to this prolonged eye contact. She hardly even blinks (besides when she has to blink back tears), it's so intense. She also got over all shyness from London when she had to look away when he met her eyes for too long. And now it's Sergei who struggles to hold her gaze.

I think a lot about how the series talks about fear as an emotional reaction worth honouring, to be honest. There's the obvious parallels between ignoring a person's fear as a part of de-personalization from being an assassin

as well as something you can revel in if you're too twisted by that time, or in that moment, to see it as the warning sign that it is

That is 45 minutes I will never get back {8x09 Review}

As those of you who read my reviews know, I do write in real time so whatever mistakes I made in the beginning of the post I may have rectified at the end. I am anti-Damon/anti-Delena/anti-Bamon/anti-Bonenzo/anti-Steroline and I will probably mention misogynoir, anti-black treatment and make references to other shows. If you do not like it, keep on scrolling. I also did this on my phone so bear with me. Alright. Let’s go. 1. It’s actually refreshing to see Stefan feed on a dude because it seems like we only ever see them feed on women lately. 2. Why aren’t cops interested in a string of murders happening throughout the States? They aren’t exactly keeping a low profile. Stefan massacred an entire hospital and Anger Management group. 3. TVD really fails the Bechdel test and I like how we don’t actually hear about Bonnie’s trip to Paris, just that she’s wearing a vial of Enzo’s blood. 4. “Is that it? We’re due at an event” Candice’s delivery was actually on point. 5. I’m confused now, so Sybil is on the “war path” because she wants a weapon that can destroy her and now Seline wants to kill her to make amends (did I miss something? Because I know Sybil didn’t forgive her but, like, did they declare war on each other?) I still don’t understand why Caroline would team up with Seline? Or why Caroline would care about what’s happening with the sirens? Why are they relevant now that Damon and Stefan are Cade’s servants? 6. So this year the carnival was before Miss Mystic when Miss Mystic was before the carnival in seasons 1 and 2? 7. Stefan and Caroline looking at each other did not move me at all, it’s not even like they “locked” eyes, like it’s so underwhelming. Makes me miss 3x03. Sybil and Damon actually look so much better together than Damon and Elena since Sybil looks age appropriate. 8. They are REALLY trying to romanticize 1x19, fam, it was a dance and not even a “it all makes sense” dance like SE’s 3x14 and 3x20,it’s a “wow Damon, I didn’t know you could dance like that” dance and a “suck it, Stefan!” dance. They really need to fucking chill. 9. It’s also transparent that Stefan doesn’t have a flashback to Elena even though it’s been repeated that SE was the foundation of the show. And not even that, Caroline, Bonnie and Matt do not have flashbacks of Elena and Jeremy isn’t even mentioned but oh yeah, season 1 feels. 10. “Sybil just “sirened” that girl.” Lol, compelled. 11. Bonnie and Enzo actually just look awkward, they’re very stiff and Enzo is SO monotonous. 12. “What did that woman do to you?” Caroline, my girl, it isn’t that serious. He doesn’t know why the necklace meant something to him and he’s a little upset. Maybe if Ian actually played tortured well I’d feel something but right now, I’m just like why DOES the necklace mean anything to you? You gave it to Elena because it was an SE symbol and you wanted her to have it because it reminded her of Stefan. Why would YOU have any attachment to it? And you giving it back to her in 2x08 is about the fact that you gave it back, not the necklace itself. LIKE? 13. LOL yeah Caroline’s “a love so deep and magical” speech really just sounds like she’s trying to convince herself about her relationship with Stefan because when did Caroline actually see anything of the Damon and Elena relationship? Like honestly. 14. “Take it from me, Elena Gilbert never really goes away.” Mmmmmmmmmmhmmmmmmm. 15. Oh this is why DErs are going to freak out because he broke the necklace and he said that he only gave it to Elena to protect her from Damon, lol, but this season is full of retcons anyway, so. 16. I find it strange that Caroline is more focused on saving Damon than Stefan. 17. Oh my GOD, we’re only 20 minutes in? 18. Bonnie and Enzo do not look good dancing, they look uncomfortable. 19. I’m actually getting really annoyed at seeing the same footage of Elena and Damon dancing because it’s aggravating! There’s nothing more to this episode THAN the dance. Are we forgetting that the moment it’s over, Elena is all about Stefan? SELECTIVE MEMORY. 20. Why are we acting like Damon’s humanity will crush him? He was fine with killing Lexi, turning Vicki, killing Jeremy, killing Aaron, kidnapping Jeremy, trying to kill Caroline, raping and abusing Caroline, etc. Like why wouldn’t he be fine with this? Elena won’t care. 21. Why do they keep saying Matt is stupid? How is Alaric any smarter? A fucking siren was his nanny for months. 22. The battle for Damon’s subconscious is really underwhelming because I don’t see the big deal? Why does Sybil even want Damon? And what exactly is so strenuous about what’s going on in his mind? The fact that he’s remembering someone he can’t have feelings for? 23. This entire fight is ridiculous to me because I don’t know what Stefan and Damon are fighting about? Damon is feeling and Stefan isn’t and it’s a problem? Like? This is so underwhelming. 24. Bonnie and Enzo are just … ehh sure, whatever. Fine. 25. LMAO Caroline doesn’t even seem sad about what’s happening to Stefan. But Damon got all this pity? WHAT are the writers doing? 26. LMAO Caroline leaving Stefan just reminds me of 3x07 when Stefan is like, “So you’re quitting” and Elena being like “Oh hell no, I’m just done for the day, fam.” Like Elena was IN it. And Stefan actually had the capacity to look ashamed and moved and the language was a lot more passionate, not this “we had a deal” business, are you two engaged or business partners? 27. I honestly don’t get the storyline with Damon and Sybil, like it just seems so small potatoes, like what is the POINT? 28. So Sybil giving Damon back his humanity is Tessa giving Stefan back his memory. This episode was a mess because absolutely nothing happened. Caroline left Stefan. OK? Damon got his humanity back. Sure. And Bonnie asks Enzo to be a human. Fine? WHO GIVES A SHIT? WHO CARES. WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT? I also don’t get how Sybil made Damon’s life a living hell, because she forced him to kill people he didn’t want to but he did it anyway? That doesn’t seem to be the issue, the issue for Damon seems to be that he got a taste of his own medicine by being compelled, I’m sorry I mean “sirened” and that he couldn’t say no to Sybil even if he wanted to. And the fact that he feels nothing for Elena but still sees her and feels warmth because of a necklace is like … what, is it like you get one taste of happiness but then suddenly it disappears and you’re lost and alone and … WHAT? Like be LOTR, Frodo about it where Frodo doesn’t remember what water or food tastes like or the wind, have it be like Damon remembers ALL of these things when he holds the necklace but then Sybil manages to take that away from him and so he’s tortured with remembering happiness and he’s fighting to push out Elena’s memory because it hurts him too much to feel but she won’t budge. I feel like that’s what they’re trying to do but they’re doing it poorly. LIKE EVERYTHING DELENA. And Stefan. No one seems to care that Stefan is going off the deep end, like they just take him at his word that this is what he wants and this is what he was made to do and he’s his Best Self this way. He has no humanity! Why is Caroline just like, whatever, fine, sure but Damon is the one who needs saving? WHAT? And why is Caroline acting so superior as if she didn’t turn off her humanity two seasons ago and went around the country killing people? So it’s not OK for Damon to spiral, everyone needs to bend over backwards to stop Damon but if it’s Stefan, they just let him do the shit he wants? WHAT? This is how you know the show isn’t interested in story and only interested in their fave, which is Damon. Bonnie and Enzo just keep telling each other how much they love each other without us ever seeing why that would be. Old news. This was an excruciatingly bad episode.

I still have Faith in Karamel

It’s CW writing 101. This isn’t the first time they have done this to couples on shows. Olicity and WestAllen. Karamel is just another one. I had faith in Olicity and I have faith in Karamel. I may get annoyed with how the writers chose to tell the story, but in the end I know they are endgame. Just have a little faith.

MASTERPOST: Karamel Fam Speculations

After episode 3x04 we thought that it would be a good idea to check how often the Karamel Fam was right with their speculation / predictions about future Supergirl plots, so wrote this MASTERPOST.

I listed below the speculations that had been popular in the fandom noting which was the last episode that had aired when that theory started to be supported. I also added comments on the clues/ evidence we had at that point and how right or wrong we were.

For all Supergirl episodes starting 3x05 I’m writing individual posts with the all the theories and putting the links to these posts in this masterpost. I’m not adding comments on clues or accuracy of predictions for any episode since 3x06 because I’m unable to keep up.

I will update this masterpost as needed.

AFTER EPISODE 3X04

a. The person inside the underwater spaceship moving a hand is Mon-El. There are more Legionnaires there, possibly  Saturn Girl. Clues = his hand and his bicep and his shirt (comparison with other pics). Texts written in Interlac (the Legion language). Amy has been filming as per her social media. CONFIRMED.

b. No matter how Mon-El will return, he is still in love with Kara. Clue = the necklace that Mon-El wore in Kara’s dream in episode 1. The dream is a real connection between the two, probably thanks to the necklace and Saturn Girl. TO BE CONFIRMED as he returns married but with Kara’s necklace.

c. The achievement of the Legion’s mission will be saving the world/ Supergirl from destruction and will cause the destruction of the Legionnaires that were born after 21st century. This would impact heavily on Mon-El because his friends will not exist. They will change the timeline enough for the Legion to be reborn  a bit differently. Clue = Mon-El will return changed. Comics. TO BE CONFIRMED.

AFTER EPISODE 3X03

a. Mon-El will return to Kara’s life in episode 3x07. Clue = plots for the previous episodes. Episode 7 is called Wake Up. CONFIRMED.

AFTER EPISODE 3X02

a. Reign has been bioengineered using some of Alura’s DNA. Clue = Sam’s dream, comics. TO BE CONFIRMED but in 3x07 they said she was made.

AFTER EPISODE 3X01

a. Kara’s dream is shared with Mon-El and is a real connection between the two, probably thanks to the necklace and Saturn Girl. Clue: he has a beard that he didn’t have at the end of season 2. He wakes her up. He wears the necklace. Alura is there. Titan can be seen in the sky. Saturn Girl is born in Titan. TO BE CONFIRMED.

b. Saturn Girl wants Kara and Mon-El to be together. If she is introduced as his love interest, they have been forced to do it by Brainiac, that asked them to fake it or her to erase Mon-El’s memories in exchange of him developing the superserum to cure his lead allergy. Brainiac does this because he is obsessed with Kara and doesn’t want a romantic rival. Saturn Girl does not like this so she is connecting Karamel through the dreams to help them find their way to each other. Clues = Brainiac in comics is obsessed with saving Kara, developed the superserum and is a fan of very complicated plans and manipulating others. Saturn Girl is a telepath that was never in love with Mon-El in comics. The dreams may be real as Mon-El was able to wake Kara up. He wears the necklace during the dream and Saturn can be seen in the sky, so they probably are in Titan, Saturn’s Girl planet. TO BE CONFIRMED.

c. Mon-El is in the spaceship under water and has been stuck for a long time. Clue = she was very close when he woke her up. CONFIRMED and he spent there 12000 years.

d. The Legion mission is to kill Reign and they tried to do it when she was a child but they got stuck and cannot leave the spaceship. Kara may need to wake them up from hibernation. Partly CONFIRMED as the ship was stuck for 12000 years and she had to free Saturn Girl. We still don’t know the Legion’s mission

BEFORE SEASON 2 PREMIERE

a. Saturn Girl will be Mon-El’s wife / girlfriend according to a pap. If it happens, it will not be a real marriage. It may be caused because of amnesia or because it is needed for an undercover mission.  Clue = the writing has set Mon-El up as Kara’s true love. Saturn Girl is married to Lighting Lad in comics. Mon-El’s wife in comics is Shadow Lass (if you want him to be and stay married, why wouldn’t you use her?). TO BE CONFIRMED.

b. Promo before the episode includes images from Karamel on a field. It is a shared dream and a real connection between the two, probably thanks to the necklace. Clue = he has a beard that he didn’t have at the end of season 2. Alura is there. TO BE CONFIRMED.

c. Brainiac 5 will be in season 3 and very much into Kara. That will not be reciprocated by Kara. Clue: it was teased that someone will like Kara a lot along the way. Brainiac worships her in comics. Mon-El has been set up as Kara’s true love. TO BE CONFIRMED.

d. Reign will try to make Kara join the worldkillers. Clue = comics. TO BE CONFIRMED.

AFTER SDCC 2017 SPOILERS

a. Mon-El will be changed by his experience before he returns, possibly with PTSD or amnesia. Karamel will not be together as a romantic couple immediately after his return. Clues = Chris said that the Karamel reunion will depend on what has happened with him. TO BE CONFIRMED but they also have said that the DEO team will be worried about him. Melissa has also said that their reunion will not be what we would expect and that it will be mysterious.

b. Kara will resolve the conflict between her identities in season 3. Clue: Kara saying that being Kara Danvers is a mistake. TO BE CONFIRMED but this is still ongoing as Kara said in 3x07 “shame on me for having a human heart”.

c. Psi will use Kara’s memories about Mon-El to break her. CORRECT.

d. J*mes will get a romantic couple. Possibly L*na or Reign. TO BE CONFIRMED but it looks like it will be L*na because of the press release in 3x09 hinting at a spark between them.

AFTER THE SEASON 2 FINALE

a. The necklace and direct comparison to Clois means that Karamel is endgame. TO BE CONFIRMED.

b. Mon-El will not want to be back immediately with Kara, possibly because amnesia or because he thinks that this is important to save the world/ Kara. Clue: the Hero’s Journey, because the hero is usually reluctant to come back to his previous life. Also because creating angst is standard TV shows writing. Partly CONFIRMED. He returns with a ‘wife’ but we know nothing about the reason of his return. Chris said in SDCC that the circumstances of his return will have an impact on the Karamel reunion. That was the understatement of the century.

c. If Mon-El returns with amnesia, it will be caused by the Legion to prevent him to damage the timeline or because it is necessary to achieve their mission, that will probably be save the world/ Supergirl from destruction. WRONG, he remembers Kara and the DEO.

d. Karamel getting back together will be later in the season, possibly during May sweeps. Clue = couples getting together during sweeps is standard in the Flarrowverse.

e. Mon-El disappearing means that he was found and rescued by the Legion of Superheroes. Clue = comics. Mostly CONFIRMED as we know that he returns with them.

f. Kara will feel guilty about sending Mon-El to space and will fear he is dead. CORRECT.

g. Reign will “kill” (temporarily) Supergirl at the end of season 2. Mon-El will have to step up to full superhero duties. Clue = Doomsday storyline in comics. All the shows in the Flarrowverse have had a storyline where the lead dies and disappears and their team have to step up to keep up heroing. TO BE CONFIRMED.

h. Reign has been bioengineered by Kryptonians, possibly by Jor-El, Kara’s  father. Clue = comics. Partly CONFIRMED as her creators appear to be Kryptonians.

BEFORE THE SEASON 2 FINALE

a. Mon-El will be the season 2 cliffhanger and will be sent away, but he will return back to Kara in season 3. Clue = the writing has set Mon-El up as Kara’s true love. CONFIRMED.

b. Mon-El will travel to the future and will spend some time there, possibly years. Clue = comics as the Legion of Superheroes happens in the future. CONFIRMED, he said that he lived 7 years in the 31st century on Earth and then 12000 years in the past in hyoersleep

c. Mon-El will spend some time with the Legion of Superheroes after 2x22, will become a member of the Legion and some legionnaires will travel to Kara’s time with him. Clue = He was a Legion member in comics. Mostly CONFIRMED but we don’t have details of what happened.

d. Mon-El will be cured of his lead poisoning thanks to the Legion (flight ring or superserum). Clue = comics. Mostly WRONG because the cure is developed by L-Corp but we still don’t know if he got it thanks to the Legion.

e. Kara and Mon-El will still love each other when they reunite. Clue = the writing has set Mon-El up as Kara’s true love. TO BE CONFIRMED. He returns with a “wife” and Kara’s necklace. And we know that Kara still loves him in season 3 and he was wearing her necklace in the dream in 3x01 which may or may not be a real mental connection.

f. Karamel will get back together as a romantic couple in season 3. Clue = the writing has set Mon-El up as Kara’s true love. TO BE CONFIRMED. Chris said in SDCC that the circumstances of his return will have an impact on the Karamel reunion.

AFTER THE FLASH MUSICAL CROSSOVER

a. True Love Kiss and direct comparison to WestAllen means that Karamel is endgame. TO BE CONFIRMED but comments on the Supergirl season 2 dvd make very clear that for TPTB the chemistry between Karamel is insane and this is the ship they dreamed of. And he returned in season 3 wearing her necklace.

a. L*na will become a villain at some point but not in season 3. Clues = K*tie confirmed as series  regular. She a L*thor. L*na said after Jack’s death that she was scared of the person that she could become because of loss. Lillian said in 2x21 that L*na will not like having being lied by Kara about her Supergirl identity. Also parallells with Lex / Clark in Smallville. TO BE CONFIRMED but interviews with K*tie, Melissa and the producers have hinted at that.

AFTER EPISODE 2X16

a. Lar Gand’s death would make Mon-El King of Daxam and that would help him stop the Daxamite invasion. WRONG. After his death Rhea was considered the Regent of Daxam with power over him, and Mon-El’s actions opposing her made Daxamite soldiers call him a traitor in 2x22. We didn’t think that he would be that powerless.

b. Kara will tell Mon-El that she loves him before the end of the season and she will do it in a moment of great danger. CORRECT and she added the necklace proving that he is her true love.

AFTER EPISODE 2X15

a. They teased that there would be an alternate reality during the Flash musical crossover and that Mon-El and Iris’ alter egos would be in love. Speculation was that this would make Kara and Barry jealous and help them understand their feelings, and, as a result, Karamel and WestAllen will get back together. CORRECT

AFTER EPISODE 2X14

a. Kara will break up with Mon-El as soon as she discovers that he lied about being the Prince of Daxam. CORRECT but we thought that it would keep them apart during a few episodes but it was a 24h break up.

AFTER EPISODE 2X13

a. Mon-El will become the sweetest most supportive boyfriend by the end of season 2. CORRECT.

AFTER EPISODE 2X12

a. There was only 1 still of Karamel in the promo but it was at Kara’s. We predicted that there would be a meaningful conversation between them. Boy, we were so CORRECT.

b. Mon-El’s comment on Daxam being “the more, the merrier” means that many Daxamites including him are bisexual or pansexual. Clue: hearteyes earlier with Winn in 2x06. TO BE CONFIRMED but hearteyes with Jack in 2x18.

c. Teri cast as a villain was announced. She will be Mon-El’s mother and that there would be a Daxamite invasion and that she would be the real big bad of the season. Clues = there are alien invasions in comics with Daxamite involvement that are stopped with the help of a Daxamite heroe. He had mentioned that his parents were not role models so there were hints as them as potential villains.

d. Just after that Kevin Sorbo was cast and announced as Teri’s husband. He will be Mon-El’s father and the King of Daxam. The scary aliens looking for Mon-El are Daxamites, possibly his parents. CORRECT.

e. Mon-El’s status as a Prince would be important to stop the invasion. WRONG. We didn’t know that he would be that powerless in Daxam.

f. Season 2 would end up with him having to be sent to the Phantom Zone because of lead poisoning. Partly CORRECT. He was sent to space in a pod to avoid lead poisoning.

g. Mon-El will return back in season 3, cured of his lead allergy by the Legion of Superheroes. Mostly CONFIRMED. He is returned in season 3 cured of his allergy by L-Corp and the Legion of Superheroes will be in season 3 too.

h. Mon-El will get a Flight Ring when he joins the Legion of Superheroes. That means that he will be able to fly. Clue = comics. TO BE CONFIRMED but the Legion Ring is seen in 2x17 and the camera immediately afterwards focus on Mon-El. Melissa said just after 2x22 that the Legion Ring was on its way to the show.

i. Around this time we speculated that his supersuit will be inspired by the red shirt that Mon-El was wearing in the pod in the Daxam flashback. Clue = the shirt is quite similar to the classic comics outfit. TO BE CONFIRMED.

j. Mon-El’s supersuit will have Kara’s symbol over his heart (which is at his right side according to Winn). Clue = comics. TO BE CONFIRMED.

AFTER EPISODE 2X10

a. Kara didn’t reply to Mon-El’s love confession but has feelings about him. Alex will help her to clarify her feelings. Clue = Kara kissed him back in 2x08. Her smiles and hearteyes every time they are together. CORRECT and that was fast.

b. Obviously he will learn to listen to Kara at some point during the season. CORRECT from 2x17.

c. Mon-El will become a reliable superhero partner by the end of season 2. CORRECT.

AFTER EPISODE 2X09

a. Mon-El will want to be a hero not because of Kara but because of his own choice by the end of the season. Clues = he had already been altruistic in 2x06 with the homeless guy and in 2x07 when he surrended himself to save fake J’Onn. Also that is what heroes do and his path was clearly a character development to heroism. CORRECT as proved in 2x16 when he stood up to his parents with no witnessess or in 2x22 when he immediately said that if needed the lead should be released to the atmosphere if necessary.

b. Around this time we speculated that although he was clearly lying to Kara about him being the Prince his real name would be Mon-El and not Lar Gand. CORRECT, that was his father’s name.

c. Eve was listed in imdb to appear in a few episodes later in the season. She will become a temporary love interest for Mon-El. This will make Kara jealous. CORRECT and that was really temporary.

AFTER EPISODE 2X08

a. Obviously Mon-El remembers the kiss. CORRECT.

b. The scary aliens are looking for Mon-El because he is the Prince of Daxam. CORRECT.

c. Mon-El is one of the few aliens able to have supersex with Kara and he will. Clue = superpowers. CORRECT. Kara’s comment in 2x14 about her having broken 4 noses just kissing dudes makes clear that when she is really into someone he can hurt them.

d. Mon-El will be able to have children with Kara and they will. Clue = as a Daxamite he shares similar DNA to Kryptonians. Also in comics Daxamites are able to have children with almost every alien. TO BE CONFIRMED.

AFTER EPISODE 2X07

a. Karamel will become romantically involved this season. Clue = Mon-El’s hearteyes, him asking if she is mated to someone and her smiles at the end of the episode. Mon-El is clearly smitten with Kara and she is not indifferent. CORRECT and boy, that was fast.

AFTER EPISODE 2X06

a. Mon-El’s supersuit will be red and blue as in comics. Clue = he saves the little girl in a classic Superboy image dressed in a red t-shirt and a blue jacket. TO BE CONFIRMED.

AFTER EPISODE 2X05

a. Mon-El is THE love interest in season 2. Clues = Karamel dancing, J*mes and Winn mentioning Mon-El as a potential romantic interest for Kara. CORRECT.

AFTER EPISODE 2X04

a. Mon-El is the Prince of Daxam and he was saved by his guard. Clue = Lost Prince that becomes a hero is a classic plot. CORRECT.

b. Kara wil hate that he is the fratboy Prince and that he lied when she finds out. CORRECT.

c. Mon-El will get his supersuit and his superhero name from Winn. TO BE CONFIRMED.

d. Mon-El’s superhero name will be Valor. Clue = comics. TO BE CONFIRMED.

e. Mon-El will develop new powers under the yellow sun. TO BE CONFIRMED. Clark mentioned in 2x22 that because he had been on Earth longer than the other Daxamites he would probably survive a little bit longer breathing lead and he was right, so it is canon that time can influence Daxamites’ special abilities under a yellow sun.

f. Karamel will be an enemies to friends to lovers storyline. Clue = “A boy from Daxam and a girl from Krypton, working together” and “I’m in your hands, Kara”. CORRECT.

AFTER EPISODE 2X03

a. Karamel will become romantically involved. Clue = their chemistry. CORRECT.

AFTER EPISODE 2X02

a. Mon-El will become a superhero. Clue = he is one in comics. Also Chris posted a pic of comics Mon-El in his supersuit. CORRECT: he ended season 2 as a hero with superpowers and Chris confirmed in an interview a week later that the intention for Mon-El has always been to follow the Hero’s Journey from selfish fratboy to selfless superhero. That has been mentioned again in later interviews with him and the producers.

b. Mon-El will get a supersuit. Clue = he has one in the comics. CORRECT: Chris confirmed in an interview around this time and also during the San Diego Comic Con in 2017 that there was a supersuit made for him around episode 2x03 that was not used during season 2 because the writers kept on postponing because they  felt that it was not the right moment for the character. He has also said that he will get the cape in season 3.

BEFORE SEASON 2

a. Chris Wood may be Mon-El. Clues = he was announced as a surprise DC character and a show regular meaning he would join the cast permanently. He had said in interviews that he would like to play a superhero. CORRECT.

b. Chris Wood will be one of Kara’s love interests. Clue = he is handsome. CORRECT.

c. As a love interest he will be temporary, unrequited or second to J*mes. Boy, we were WRONG. It was confirmed in the season 2 DVD commentary of episode 9 that when they started writing season 2 they decided that J*mes was not a good romantic pairing for Kara.

When I mention comics as a clue I am well aware that different things happen depending on what comic canon you are looking at. What I mean with this is that there is a similar storyline somewhere in comics and the Supergirl TV show writers may have used that for inspiration. We know that they do but and then they add their own twist.
