Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 3 Mug Mod!
Currently making a mod for Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas for fun where you can collect coffee mugs. Each version will have their own unique mugs. Will be working on this in my spare time so please be patient!
Suggested a Mug!
Give me a faction, location, character, etc from FO3 or FONV to make a mug of! I will also do stuff that makes sense like fo1 mugs around fnv, etc! Will also accept suggested changes to certain mug designs.
Suggested Mugs Below the Cut:
Updating this section as I go along :)
Fallout: New Vegas Mugs
Unless stated otherwise, all mugs here are base game. There will be mugs that require DLC because it would not make sense to be in the actual mojave. Mugs will vary in rarity. Unique mugs mean there is only one in game.
Vault-Tec Generic: Will be more rare than Fallout 3, but still pretty common. Will most likely be found in Vaults. There will be Vault-Tec Mugs for Vault 3, 11, 17, 19, 21, 22, 34. Sell prices for are as follows: Generic 1 caps, Numbered Mugs 2 caps, Unique mugs 10 caps. *
Nuka Cola Mug: Will be the second most common Mug in Vegas and the Mojave area due to the manufacturing power of the Nuka Cola Corp! Sell price will be 2 caps due to them being more rare then the sunset sas cups. *
Nuka Victory Mug: Will be very rare, a max of 3 or 4 mugs in the wasteland, due to the rarity of Nuka Victory in Vegas in general and because the logo being a prototype rebranding. Sell price is 5 caps. *

Sunset Sas Star Cup: Will be very rare, only 3 or 4 in the wasteland. Sell price will be 5 caps. *
The Tops Casino: Suggested by @theprincepeachii . Will be only accessible at the Tops Casino, however will not be that rare as it will be replacing all mugs in the Casino. Sell Price will be 2 caps. *

Gommorrah NSFW Cups: Will only be accessible at the Gommorrah Casino. However will be rare and will make a version of the mod without them in it, incase you don't want a titty cup. Sell price will be 5 caps unless I decide to make them unique then they will be 10 caps. *
Ultra Luxe Cup: Will only be accessible at the Ultra Luxe Casino. However will not be that rare as it will be replacing all mugs in the Casino. Sell Price will be 2 caps. *
Dinky the Dino Cups: Suggested by @neophytepagan and @ . Will only be found in Novac, going to try to make a unique one that is in the shape of Dinky the Dino however now promises. Sell price will be .5 caps for the normal Mug and 10 caps for the Unique version. Being Made :)

Yay, I finished RJ's room!
It is fic related, so lots of little details, like the Lamplight painting... (I head-canon that Nate did that one! The old boy has some hidden talents, and knows the place personally...maybe a little different than he remembers, but he took inspiration from what MacCready told him!) I also got the idea for no chair at his desk from Little Lamplight!
Mini Mayor MacCready (Mac is Mayor of Sanctuary in my fic) he has a room in the little giftshop, run by Knick-Knack (Knick-Knack's Knick-Knacks) Rj has a room to himself, with books and a typewriter in there (and coffee mugs!) but no chair! Kinda like he is always on the go...(still not quite sure why he has a bathtub in there tho! 🤣) Most of the decor is from a fallout 3 workshop pack and another one called "creative clutter" and it is probably one of the best workshop mods out there (only on Bethesda.net!) I reckon my favourite detail is that he has stabbed the alarm clock with his pocket knife!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

-------
( art by calameowri )
What is your baby's name? Pronouns?: Jo Mayfield-Wayfair (he/him)
Is your baby from a fandom or original?: splatoon but its also a zombie apocalypse au …?
How old is your baby?: 11
Tell us about your baby!: [tw for parent death]
he's just generally big hearted and i love him :] jo wants to have a good time, but he also works really hard to do his best !! he wants to help with everything and be as positive as possible. jo also dreams of playing turf war once he's old enough, even though he's kind of in the apocalypse..
he did lose his mom near the beginning of civilization deciding to collapse [TM], but he's been trying his best to move on, and he's been basically adopted by two fellows (friends' ocs). he still loves her and always will
his hobbies include practicing with his splattershot, making music, and gardening :]
Anything else you want to add?: i made him planning for him to die eventually and then i couldn't. now he's my most loved and popular oc he almost gained server mascot status once
----------
( art by henbased )
What is your baby's name? Pronouns?: Crosby ( she/ her )
Is your baby from a fandom or original?: fallout (3 specifically)
How old is your baby?: 8-9
Tell us about your baby!: [ MOD NOTE: TW for child death and child harm ]
her name is crosby because on the radio she heard the name "bing crosby" and decided crosby was a very suiting name. she doesn't have parents to contest this issue. in fallout 3 there's a rumor in the shipboat city (rivet city) that a kid fell off the flight deck because of lack of railings. that was crosby. she's fine btw. she's also part of a gang in rivet city of child orphans who mug and harass the people living on the boat (cannot kick children off boat; children may die) and visitors of one of the best trade stops in the capitol wasteland. she pickpockets money and stores it in her eyehole.
the hole in the face is from getting shot. idk the logistics of hows or whys. i liked the walking dead ten years ago and some things stick around. she doesnt let it bother her she thinks it's cool. it is cool (built-in coin purse)
Anything else you want to add?: would try to rob you with a knife. nat 19 luck +3. congrats youve been robbed by a child.

Cowboy Coffee and Coffee Grounds - Fallout: New Vegas, December 2020
Coffee snobs of the Mojave rejoice! For too long we've been forced to endure the indignity—the sheer insult—of asking for a cup of coffee from vendors and severely burned war criminals and receive not an authentic cup of good old fashioned joe, but to receive nothing. Or, worse than nothing, they give us what appears to be an entirely solid mixture of honey mesquite pods and tobacco leaves lightly roasted and placed into a coffee mug! What kind of sick joke is this?
Well, no one has to pretend to laugh at this joke anymore. I've made this mod to bring real coffee to the wasteland, because I like coffee and like drinking coffee in both real life and in video games.

fallout 4 house tour *throwing confetti in the air* for my sosu adam : ]
btw im using like a LOT of decor mods (ocdecorator is extremely chefs kiss if youre as picky as i am) and a cleaned version of the home plate !
under cut bc its so long < 3
some notes going in first and foremost i did want to retain the feel of this being in the fallout universe while not having everything look dirty and messy 100% of the time . i also wanted it to be nicer than you’d generally see since adam is the sole survivor and probably lives a little bit more comfortably than some other diamond city residents , but still lived-in and a little disorganized bc that’s just what he’s like . another thing about adam is that he is very much the “everyone can crash at my place” friend so there’s a lot of spaces dedicated to other people or other people’s belongings scattered around . there’s also a danse pinup poster hidden somewhere in this house bc i thought it’d be funny and if you can figure out where it is i will give you five dollars (i will not actually do this)
this little loft area that leads to the roof was too small to be a real bedroom , so it’s an area dedicated to adam’s friend wren , an amnesiac ex-courser with a tendency to show up places unannounced . adam is used to everyone doing this to him , so it’s nbd . i did also add a wall here so the whole thing feels less like its about to fall apart
adam and danse’s room (shhh he’s sleeping). this is pre-blind betrayal so they are both in the brotherhood at the moment BUT my personal hc is that danse would join the minutemen after the game’s main plot so once i’m there ingame that flag will be replaced . fuck the brotherhood all my homies hate the brotherhood
their living room ... bookshelves were not all done by hand bc that’d be a headache , they’re filled via the do it yourshelf mod . the boxes in the back corner are storage for nick and jess(the other sosu , who is a synth and my boyfriend’s character) . bi flag is self explanatory adam is bisexual . also a closer shot of that coffee table bc i had to redo it THREE TIMES
cute little dinig room table / desk area . you’ll notice adam has a lot of plants . this was intentional . i have very little to say about this except that adam does in fact smoke in the house sometimes < 3
a medical area ... adam was a combat medic (bc i was not about to make him a Boot Boy) so this space at least is clean and neat . a fun fact about this is that i used one of those power extension wires to make it look like it’s connected to the terminal , which i had to carefully clip into it . the chair was stolen from the institute . he likes it .
yes the mugs are laid over the calendar here . i dont feel like fixing it right now LMAO . dining area bar type thing ... and yes every cap on the checkerboard is placed by hand . i dont fuck around . there’s a dog bowl for dogmeat and as adam and danse are in the brotherhood i imagine they’re probably most comfortable with cafeteria-style dishes , so they have those . adam only busts out the fancy dinner plates for family dinners .
just a little cooking area / pantry ... there are 5 boxes of snack cakes in frame bc a majority of adam’s friends and family are synths . i also really like those string lights if you couldn't tell .
power armor fixing / general modding area .i would have put danse’s armor in the stand but he fucking murdered me for stealing it . this is a no power armor on house you could at least put it in its designated area , DANSE .
some weight sets bc this is a house full of insane jocks and a little “guest room” type area .
i went through like 3 renditions of this house including one where i started a new game (adam ... 2 !). i spent so much time on it and while there are still some things i could improve i consider the bulk of it to be finished . i have a few other player / npc homes i wanna do but this is my only complete one atm ! thanks for reading my long ass post < 3

i think im the most mundane bitch when it comes to installing mods due to being an avid sims 4 player beforehand. I saw a new mesh for coffee cups in fnv that makes them copper camping mugs, and I hit the download button so fast....and then I download a worn blue version of them for fallout 3 😌 I derive too much enjoyment out of clutter and details.

Fallout 4: Nuka-World DLC
youtube
Nuka-World trailer featuring DLC cover art by John Gravato.
It has been a while since I have had the time to post and I wanted to get something up about Nuka-World. Rather than hit all of the details in a bunch of smaller Nuka-World posts I decided I would cover as much as I could in one overview post. While re-watching the trailer recently, I was reminded of just how many different aspects of that DLC I got to work on as the art lead. Highlighting my work from the trailer felt like a good way to run through my efforts, so take a look at the trailer linked above and then read on below.
Nuka-World screenshot I created for marketing.
My general responsibilities began with creating the pitch for the DLC. The two design leads, Justin Schram and Alan Nanes, and I started developing a series of ideas for the DLC. After one false start, we came in with a stack of new ideas as one-sheets and started the pitch meeting with what was then called “Raiders and Rides” as a working title. Todd accepted it before even hearing the other ones. I was very happy about this as it was my favorite pitch of the group.
Nuka-World screenshot I created for marketing.
As the art lead for the project I was responsible for overseeing all things art-related; art direction, pipeline, etc. Since this was a DLC for Fallout 4, much of the core art direction was established by Istvan Pele, the art director on the base game. My job for the DLC was to create a reason for players to want to come back to the game for more. I also wanted to test some of my ideas for improvements to the pipelines and the smaller scale of a DLC was a great place for that. More than anything I wanted to use my additional influence on the DLC to give the players loads of memorable fun and value for their money.
My Nuka-World key art based on the original Fallout 4 key art.
One of the first things I did once the plan was greenlit was to create the key art. I used it in all of my slides for internal and external presentations and to set the initial tone and pillars of the DLC for the team. More detailed post on the key art here.
My original Bottle & Cappy slide art turned into Nuka-World coffee mug art.
A key contrast built into the DLC from the start was the mix of horrible, violent, raider gangs with the fun, lighthearted, theme park. To add that contrast into my slides I created a closing slide featuring who I imagined the park mascots to be. Bottle & Cappy were born as a way to incorporate a fun note as my closing slide. As the DLC progressed it became clear we needed to use them in the park and then in the marketing. Post DLC they have joined the permanent Fallout lore in other titles and in merchandising.
Nuka-World screenshot I created for marketing.
As the first artist on the project, I started by sketching key broad strokes of the DLC into the engine to guide the art team toward my vision. I added in the first-pass landscape and weather to get the environment feeling like I wanted. Then I started blocking in key landmarks of the park in grey boxed art to get the layout started. I added sub leads for the park environment art (Jason Muck) and the landscape (Andrew Barron). To help build enough new geometry to fill the park, I prototyped some park assets using the color remapping I developed for the base game. This workflow would allow faster park asset creation allowing us to build a larger environment with a smaller team.
Nuka-World screenshot I created for marketing.
Once the environment team was going I shifted focus to characters, creatures, and weapons. I knew they going to take much more hands-on work from me duse to the small team size. We had one character artist (Charles Kim) and one weapon artist (Dane Olds) in house. Concept art and the bulk of the non-environment art was planned to be outsourced. Raiders were the main focus for the DLC and I knew they would take up the majority of the resources. Inspite of that limitation I also wanted to get the players as many new creatures as I could. I came up with a list of easy but dramatic creature ideas to test to maximize reuse but feel new to the player. I did fast "proof of concept" tests for each idea to determine which ideas would work in-game. I repeated this same pattern to fill out the weapon list with cheap and fun additions at a minimal cost.
Nuka-World screenshot I created for marketing.
The raider gangs were the main feature of the DLC but due to the volume of work they required, and our lack of staff in those departments, the decision was made to outsource all of the raider concepts and the models. I knew outsourcing the concepts was going to be tricky since the outsourcing group was in China but I had no other option. I supplied lots of ref and photo bashed some quick collages to get something for them to start with besides a written description. This method yielded a few good designs but nothing good enough to move forward with alone. Luckily for me, John Gravato (concept artist) stepped up and took on wrangling some of the design revisions and additions in his spare time. Ray Leder (concept artist) also knocked out a few additional helmet designs. Leveraging their stellar support and iterating with the team in China I was able to arrive at the armor sets that defined the three raider gangs and could combine for massive variety for the player.

My trailer directorial debut: the Nuka-World E3 teaser.
For this DLC, in particular, Todd's plan for us was to market it like a full game. This meant we would work with marketing on screens, a teaser, a trailer, a theme song, a Bottle & Cappy trailer (similar to the SPECIAL videos for the base game), and a physical park map. The Bottle & Cappy trailer was handled by an outside vendor which took most of the load off of us except for lite direction and feedback. The rest was up to myself and a handful of people on the team. Animator Neal Thibodeaux did a lot of the heavy lifting on both the teaser and the trailer which were both made in the engine. Artist Natalia Smirnova created the logos and artwork for the map and we worked very hard to make it accurate to the park and have that authentic theme park map feel. Not only were we going to use it to guide people around the park in-game, we were also putting a physical version in Game Stop as a preorder bonus.

Bottle & Cappy trailer.
Nuka-World park map pre-order bonus.
One of the things that got me the leadership role on the DLC was my history of adding all kinds of content to the game in addition to my role as a VFX artist. I don't like it when a good idea dies from a lack of resource time. Over the years I have learned all of the workflows in our engine to find clever ways to make my ideas come to life without additional help. This often includes sourcing existing art for kitbashing new work from in order to save time. Unfortunately, this is the kind of work that has often proven hard to teach and or delegate. Having the lead role allowed me to incorporate it more than ever before into our pipelines, but throughout the DLC I still had to do a lot of the work myself.
Below is a breakdown of all of my work in the trailer which turns out to be a good cross-section of all of the additional things I did on the DLC.
00:02 Direction and feedback for outsourced Bottle & Cappy video.
00:15 Unique models and editor setup for Nukatron. Flipbook port of B&C video for in-game Nukatron and Nuka-Cola machines.
00:20 Water VFX for the landscape. Art direction for the five themed areas of the park.
00:23 Ported mannequin models to animatronics and animated them. Created all Nuka-World mannequin outfits as texture swaps or new meshes.
00:24 Set dressed and captured trailer footage in-game.
00:26 Developed efficient color remapping pipeline (CRP) for the fast creation of park assets. I built fake western mountain rocks for themed park area.
00:28 Created a quantum variant for all 6 Mirelurk creature types. Created the water and VFX for the Quantum river.
00:30 Concepted and built the armor for Porter Gage the main companion for the DLC. Modeled and posed Bottle& Cappy park sculptures (using CRP). Built the Fizztop Mountain asset for the main landmark for the park (using CRP).
00:40 Technical assistance on execution of the intro train ride.
00:42 Created park color guide and prototype weathers for DLC color direction.
00:43 Concepted and built Nuka bottle Protectron (using CRP).
00:45 Art direction for park map and then execution of in-game navigation via map kiosks.
00:48 Created all of the painted feral ghoul DLC variants.
00:51 Created the Gatorclaw death claw variant model. Created a Nuka-World specific lunch box player prize system from my lunch box system in the base game.
00:52 Created the Brhamaliff models. Planned a high-level melee tree with art assets to supplement a limitation of the base game.
00:56 Created the unique robot meshes for Nuka Spray Mr. Handy
00:57 Designed the damage structure for weaponized Nuka-Cola flavors.
00:58 Created all of the western clothing meshes.
01:00 Prototyped the original sandworm concept in-game to test viability. Created the Sandworm VFX. Trained the character artist in kitbash modeling to add Acid Soaker. Created all of the VFX for the acid soaker.
01:03 Art directed the raider factions. Designed all clothing as armor/under armor for maximum mix and match. Cleaned up all outsourced outfit meshes for maximum compatibility within the armor system.
01:04 Created all texture variants for raider underclothes. Brought the slave collar from Fallout 3 and rebuilt for Nuka-World with power on/off functionality.
01:07 Added motion to some Bottle & Cappy statues.
01:09 Designed trash pile loot system to add the feel of overflowing trash at a theme park and add a new loot system to the park.
01:13 Concept and design for paddleball weapons and mods. (see other post)
01:18 Art direction for raider gangs.
01:19 Ported alien mesh to animatronic enemy for the park. Revised the Fallout 3 alien blaster as playable weapon (not shipped).
01:20 Built the Overboss bumper car power armor. Worked with design to create the plan for the opening boss fight with squirt gun mechanic (see other post). Built all of the electric VFX for the boss fight.
01:21 Original concept for spider cricket hopper enemy.
01:17 Tuxedo mesh for Kiddie Kingdom boss ghoul.
01:23 Flying swarm as a single enemy proof of concept. All ant variant meshes.
01:28 Shot this shot setup and set dressing for the teaser.
01:33 Original Bottle & Cappy idea and concept painting.

Ski’tar and Friends part 11: An Old-fashioned Akitonian Barfight
This week, Ski’tar, Vemir, and 6 head to the Red Planet in search of a fool.
Episode One
Previously on
In his Traditional celebration of a completed mission and our trio’s advancement to official members of the Starfinder Society, Vemir took Sixer and me out for drinks. The venue of choice this time was a few levels of class above where we’d gone after the Ulmarid incident, with an android bartender that had its own private elevator behind the bar for accessing the higher-end alcohol. My friends each went for Crystal Head vodka, which our bartender was more than eager to tell us the history and fermentation process of, while I just ordered a plain red wine and let my thoughts drift ahead to the future. All that anyone in the Society could talk about was the Scored Stars Incident, so it was only a matter of time before we would find ourselves dealing with the fallout, I was sure.
The following morning, we received a summons from our old friend, Venture Captain Arvin. When we arrived at his office, he told us he had a mission of utmost importance to the reputation of the Society. It turns out that the recent losses in membership weren’t just from lots of deaths and missing folks at Scored Stars, but also from ongoing defections by those who hadn’t been directly involved. For the most part, these quitters had left on good terms and the Starfinders held no ill will toward them. However, there was this one guy, Reynold Talbot, who decided to take a souvenir with him when he left, namely that strange stone we’d found on the Unbounded Wayfarer. The Starfinders had determined the stone was an artifact from lost Golarion; at first glance it seemed to be a Philosopher’s Stone, capable of transmuting objects into more valuable materials like gold, but in truth it was a Charlatan's Stone, capable only of producing the illusion of transmutation. Arvin didn’t know if Talbot knew the truth about the Stone, but the simple fact that he had stolen it from the Society was reason enough to send a team out to retrieve it.
Arvin’s information stated that Talbot had left Absalom Station and gone to Akiton, so it was “home-again-home-again” for Sixer and myself. Before leaving, I decided to kit myself out in some Ysoki refractor armor with an electrostatic defense mod, and spotted a plasma whip that I just couldn’t turn down despite the low likelihood of my ever using it.
Following an uneventful Drift-hop, our shuttle set us down in the underside of the city of Maru on Akiton, and we immediately got to work scrounging for information in our various ways. Vemir checked in with some fellow bounty hunters, and decided to pick up a couple extra marks while he was in the area, Sixer visited some contacts of his own, while I sought out the nearest gathering of Ysoki to tap into the rumor mill. I couldn’t find much of use, but my companions managed to put together an interesting lead. A ship belonging to Abadarcorp, the largest and most diverse corporation in the entire Pact, had recently bought a load of fuel at the small mining town of Tash, and was still there two days later. Suspecting some charlatanry was at play, we rented a dune buggy and drove the two hours out to Tash.
In the good ol’ days, before the advent of the Drift, Akiton was a bustling mining world that produced thasteron, an ore that is used to produce the best fuel for sub-light travel. Nowadays, there’s not nearly as much demand for thasteron, which has resulted the general collapse of Akiton as a global society. Tash is one of innumerable towns that were founded around thasteron mines, and the economic slump hit them hard. I didn’t know of Tash before this mission, but I’d seen a few ghost towns like it during my early scavenger days, so I was surprised when we rolled into town and saw a full-blown party going on at the local watering hole, the Digger’s Dive.
Aside from the jubilant attitude of the primarily human and ysoki crowd, the Digger’s Dive looked like a typical run-down saloon in a run-down mining town: everything made of red mud and imported wood, and the roof providing an almost uninterrupted view of the sky. The bartender was cute ysoki lady who was all too happy to offer us some ysoki mead for a mere credit a mug. Before we could pay, two of the locals butted in to cover our costs as they cheered about the town being saved. With just a few simple questions, we learned that our target, Talbot, had rolled into town a few days ago, sold a full load of fuel that he got from somewhere to Abadarcorp, spread the wealth around town, and then rolled right back out. Nobody knew where Talbot had gone, but they were well aware of at least one of Vemir’s targets, a ne’er-do-well former miner who squatted in one of the mines and came down just to break things and cause trouble. Figuring we could at least collar one bounty while searching for Talbot’s trail, we got up to leave.
Before we got out the door, a Vesk approached us and asked us to join his boss at their table for a minute. Sixer was hesitant, until we received a polite telepathic “please” from the table and realized the boss was a Shirren. I find it hard to refuse a polite Shirren, so I led the way over to the table and sat down. Our new friend was Filt, a high-ranking member of Abadarcorp, and he’d overheard us talking about Talbot. Filt explained that the “fuel” Talbot had sold him had not done the thing fuel is supposed to do, and so Abadarcorp was very interested in making Talbot explain himself. Filt couldn’t provide us any useful information, but he did offer a sizable bounty if we turned Talbot over to him. We agreed, since Captain Arvin had given us carte blanche on deciding Talbot’s fate so long as we brought the Charlatan’s Stone back.
Once again, we prepared to leave the bar and, once again, something stopped us. This time, it was deep yet feminine voice from outside, accusing us of heresy for daring to come into town seeking to harm Talbot, the Hero of Tash. That put the party in the bar on hold, as everyone hastily cleared out through any adequately-sized hole in the walls and Filt and his two bodyguards took shelter in the restroom. Knowing a fight was unavoidable, I threw myself behind the bar for cover while Vemir, Sixer, and Drone prepared to meet our future assailant near the door.
There were two assailants: a sick-looking ysoki and a hulking, four-armed shabbad mystic lady. After the traditional missed opening shot courtesy of Sixer, Vemir swept in for a sneak attack on the mystic while my Drone and I turned our lasers on the ysoki. As sickly as the enemy rat looked, he proved surprisingly durable against constant laspistol fire, although it didn’t take long for him to fixate on trying to tear by drone apart with knife and acid-dart gun in an effort to make the burning stop. He did plug Sixer with a pair of very potent acid darts before focusing on my Drone, though.
As for the shabbad mystic, she hit Vemir with a confusion spell in order to break away from his attempt to subdue her with a garrote, and turned her attention to 6, hitting him with acid darts of her own in between an attempt at a Daze spell and a successful mental barrage.
I danced behind the bar for a bit, shooting the ysoki, until I realized my friends were having more trouble than usual. Leaving my drone to keep up the battle of attrition with the ysoki, I crept out and turned my laspistol on the shabbad. I got her full attention after a few shots, giving Sixer a few moments to pour healing serum on his acid-melted bits, and she hit me with a confusion spell that I narrowly managed to fight through without hurting anybody.
The fight seemed to drag on forever; neither of our opponents showed signs of giving up despite eventually losing limbs to laser or cryo-gun fire. The ysoki managed, just barely, to win his shoot-out with my drone, and about the same time the shabbad suddenly went limp without actually falling over. Thinking she was out of the fight, I slipped around to my wrecked drone and pointed my pistol at the ysoki, giving him one chance to give up. He refused my offer, and my laspistol fried his brains.
I seem to be causing a lot of brain-related deaths all of a sudden.
The shabbad wasn’t actually done, though. She hit me with a mental barrage that dropped me on my tail, and then Vemir moved in to knock her down, tie her up, and cut her leg tendons just for good measure.
Once the dust settled, Filt and his guards emerged and offered us some medkits while we came down from the high of combat.
We had a potential lead to Talbot’s current location now, but we needed more than a bit to rest up, patch up, and get my drone operational before we could do anything about it.

Divinity Original Sin 2 - Ultimate Modding Guide
💾 ►►► DOWNLOAD FILE 🔥🔥🔥 There's no question that Divinity: Original Sin 2 is going to be in the running for RPG of the year with its wide-ranging character builds, tactical combat system, and intertwining storylines. You can always make a good thing better though -- and now that the game has left Early Access to enter full release, the mods are starting to roll in! Across the next few slides we've rounded up the best of the best that are currently available to enhance your Original Sin 2 experience. There are two types of mods here: Steam Workshop mods and regular old downloadable mods you've got to install the old fashioned way from a site like Nexus. For Steam Workshop entries, just head to the Discussions or Community Hub page for the game, then tab over to the Workshop. For the mod you want to install, just hit "Subscribe" and then restart the game. Keep in mind before installing any of these mods that -- even if the mod in question isn't a cheat -- your Steam achievements will be disabled as long as any of the Steam Workshop items are currently active. Of course, the downside there is that you have to have the Steam version of the game and not be using some other service like GOG. If you got your copy elsewhere and don't use Steam, many of these mods or very similar entries are readily available at sites like Nexus Mods with a little searching. These mods typically aren't self-installing and take a little more effort than their Steam counterparts. For most of these mods, after unzipping you just have to drag the "Data" folder over to one of these locations depending on where you bought the game:. Sometimes you may have to replace different files and folders to get a mod working, however. Make sure to navigate to the "Description" tab at Nexus Mods to read the specific instructions for each mod! Finally, don't forget that since the game just released, new patches will likely break some of these temporarily. If it isn't working, check back in a few days for a newer version! Download on Nexus Mods. As far as I'm concerned, this is a required mod that should be an in-game toggle option. I love nearly everything about how Larian has crafted this turn-based, tactical RPG experience It has no place in this game world, and ruins immersion. I can just skip the eye-rolling one liners in the dialogue, but stealth is always in your face with its silliness -- as your main character suddenly starts cosplaying as a bush or stumps around the room underneath the barrel like it's an episode of Scooby Doo. My heartfelt thanks to the maker of this mod, who is unquestionably doing the Divine's work on Earth. Download on Steam Workshop. We've covered the crafting system extensively , which lets you create your own basic potions, scrolls, weapons, and even skills. But it some ways it does feel a bit lacking in comparison to the other options presented in Divinity: Original Sin 2. Much like with Fallout 4 , the modding community has come together to immediately fix this oversight, creating a much more robust system that utilizes more items. Now all that junk like cracked plates and broken mugs can be turned into useful material, and unwanted old clothing and armor can be broken down into scraps that in turn are used to boost existing armor pieces. Who doesn't want a bigger party? Granted, this does break a few things on the balance and replayability fronts, as the game is meant to be played with four characters and then replayed later with four different characters, taking differing options along the way. But who wants to play the game the way it was intended? If you want all the pre-built origin characters together in one playthrough, now you can go wild with a full group of six party members. It's a good bet those devastating boss battles won't be nearly as frustrating anymore either! The talent system includes a host of combat and non-combat options, but talents aren't added every single level -- so you will only ever have a handful of them to try out. While that's clearly on purpose for build and replability purposes, some of the talents that you really want to have on hand all the time, like Pet Pal, can result in sub-optimal builds as you give up a combat talent. This simple little mod gives your starting character Pet Pal for free. If the pre-built origin character already has Pet Pal as a standard option like Ifan , then you get another extra talent for free. If you want to experience the full range of combat and build options straight from Fort Joy, this mod gives each skill vendor a much larger range of the associated skill books immediately. That's right -- no more having to deal with only have four possible skills for each spell school until you escape the Fort! Instead you can get some of those devastatingly awesome later game skills assuming you've got the gold or the pickpocket ability. Spirit Vision is an imminently useful ability, since it is required to figure out puzzles like the elemental pressure plates in Mordu's basement. Unfortunately you have to manually activate the ability every 10 rounds, which doesn't really make sense given that Spirit Vision doesn't require any Source points to use once you acquire the skill. Doesn't it make more sense to just always have it active? That's exactly what this mod does, so you don't have to constantly turn it back on to see if you missed anything! When you pump your stealth skill up to higher levels, it becomes very useful to position yourself before combat begins and get in a good old backstab to start the fight. Unfortunately, it's less useful during combat, since sneaking requires so many AP. This simple mod makes sneaking more viable during combat especially when connected to the Guerilla talent by lowering the AP cost by half. This interesting little mod changes some of your tactical options and is only sort of a cheat that increases your max AP from 6 to 8. The mod doesn't automatically give anyone extra AP, it just increases the maximum AP you can have in a turn. In other words, if you save AP from round to round or you have abilities that increase AP temporarily , you can potentially get in more moves and attacks, but you have to be strategic about your AP usage to get to the full 8 points. This mod offers only one single, tiny little change -- but it will be very welcome for players who demand a certain level of control and tidiness over their UI. Are you tired of how every single item you pick up automatically gets added to your inventory? For the casual player that's useful, since they won't forget to use scrolls and potions found during the game. But if you want total control, this mod makes it so that only new skills get added to the skillbar, and not any items you grab. Another simple UI change, this mod just makes a tweak to the border shading around any given item, making them pop much more on the screen and also making it much easier to distinguish the rarity of any given magic item. Those were the 10 best mods we've found so far for this classic throwback RPG! What did you think of our picks, and what other mods would you recommend we try out? Let us know in the comments! Even without mods, there are hundreds of quests, builds, and secrets to explore in this sprawling, turn-based fantasy epic. Fallout New Vegas Mod Configuration Menu Recipes
💾 ►►► DOWNLOAD FILE 🔥🔥🔥 Whenever I get the urge to play a Fallout game, any Fallout game, I end up crossing the Mojave Desert in search of revenge. No vault to escape, no good intentions to follow. Just a desert to wander and a headache to cure. There are all manner of mods available for Fallout: New Vegas these days, and this list covers everything from small, quality-of-life improvements to full-blown extra story content. You can either click the links below to go straight to the mod in question, or you can just carry on reading the whole thing. We also tell you how to actually go about modding Fallout: New Vegas with our step-by-step guide below. Just give it plenty of room. Anything in the download tab can be double-clicked and installed. You can now use MO2 to download mods and load games with or without certain mod enabled, and re-order the load order to fix any incompatibilities. Drag it into your New Vegas game folder and run it. When you have mods installed that have their own settings to tweak, Mod Configuration Menu provides a single menu that lets you access them all. Another mod to set and forget. This is used by other mods that change UI elements. Just install it. This makes the game playable for me. New Vegas only lets people change the field of view using the in-game console, but FOV Slider enables it properly. You need Mod Configuration Menu, which is where all the settings reside, but you should have that anyway. With it you can change the FOV for first and third-person views, change Pipboy and terminal FOVs, and alter how weapons scale in first-person. Monitors have moved on since New Vegas was made. If you want to replay vanilla New Vegas with more modern FPS additions while leaving the rest of the game intact, Project Nevada is the best add-on for that. The core module will create a richer game. The Cyberware module adds new enhancements. A Rebalance module lets you change every aspect of how stats affect your playthrough. Everything from levelling speed and level and park caps, to movement, healing, and item rarity is covered. The default settings make the game more dynamic, but survival is much harder. The final module, the Equipment module, adds piles of new weapons and items to the game. Bullet impacts, particle effects, explosions, and more. It really makes you wince. It just makes them feel deadlier and look better than ever before. If you want to use your mouse scroll wheel to cycle through your weapons, FPS Weapon Wheel lets you do that. No more hot bar stabbing when a Death Claw is flying at your mug. With it installed, engineers wander the roads of the Mojave building lampposts and adding a lot of additional ambient lights to the game. On the horizon, the Strip glows brighter than ever. This is in obsessive mod. One person has painstakingly retextured a lot but not all, no mod does it all New Vegas. Fallout New Vegas Texture Pack updates the big picture of the game. All the roads, landscapes, trees, buildings exteriors and interiors and medium to large objects toolboxes, chairs have been retextured. The result modernises the backdrop of the game, while leaving all the smaller elements alone. The wasteland weather report calls for dry and dusty from now until the end of time, unless you have Nevada Skies installed. Snow is coming. They can be pretty extreme, with storms ranging from rain to sand to fire. Each storm has an effect on the player, so getting caught in one is going to chase you inside. It affects visibility, too. This is still technically a NV mod, which means that all of the improvements the latter game brought are now part of Fallout 3. Iron sights, survival elements, the ammo bench, and hardcore mode. You can travel between both games whenever you choose, making an easy transition between the two games. Just install this and you can hop between the two. Installation is slightly more involved than the other mods. You have an installer you need to run and a few updates to add. And you also need Fallout 3 installed, too. A trilogy of mods by Someguy that adds hundreds of quests all over the game. New Vegas Bounties is a remarkable achievement for a modder, with voiced and very profane dialogue and a new way of playing the game. The first part of the trilogy is an introduction to the world of bounty hunting. Part two expands on things. Rather than the linear path that the first mod pushed you along, you can collect multiple bounties at once. Each of the 23 new characters you hunt is a boss-level encounter, again. The mod even generates a dozen random encounters. Part three really shows off everything Someguy has learned about modding. Installing this is a little tricky. From there you can grab all the other mods linked to on the page. It adds a whole new world, hours of voiced dialogue, a new vault, and sets itself up as a prequel to New Vegas. You start in Vault 18, high in the San Bernardino mountains. The Vault is probably the strongest element, and really feels like a Fallout game. New Cali is about two thirds the size of New Vegas. There are six human companions and two robots available, and two new radio stations. Just like the base game, everything seems to come with a quest attached or an upgrade for the players. There are a few. It's almost too much. RPS Time Capsule: the games worth saving from We list our favourite games from , and why they deserve to be preserved above everything else.
