i uhh dont have much for this but:

If he sees you get smacked in the face he's going to first just make sure you're alright. Him asking you if you're okay after being slapped is going to draw the attention from the person who smacked you - Xavier and Zayne are more subtle, Sylus raises his voice a little and he already sounds a little intimidating, and Rafayel is straight up glaring the person so there's no way for them to misinterpret it as being pointed towards someone else. He's not like, actually mad at the person just mildly irritated that you were hurt by someone else's inattentiveness.
