Jaskier had never really spoken about his past, let alone about his family home, and he was curious to see where the bard had grown up and spent his childhood days. He had no doubt that it was lavish and full of servants, he mused to himself as the path steered southwest, towards Kerack.

...or also known as the story where Geralt pretends to be Jaskier's fiancé over the Yule holiday in order to keep the bard's parents off his back (...and it doesn't help that the witcher is already hopelessly in love with him).

Rogues can never change…or can they? Excellent addition to the series!

What I liked: * Josephine “Jo” Harker: grew up in a gaming club, parents live apart, wants to be independent, marriage averse, competent, good friend with upper class, attractive, bright, intriguing

* Clive Halifax, Earl of Shefford “Sheff”: a rake and a rogue, difficult parents, loving brother, peacemaker, fixer, good friend, wedding averse, good friend, needs a fake fiancé

* The premise of the book with the rogues’ rules and women who think they will prevent them from falling for one

* Catching up with the previous characters in the series

* The strong friendship between the women friends and the rogues

* Ellis’s story and finding out her parentage – wonder if she will be in a book of her own?

* The outcome of a conversation between Sheff and his father toward the end of the book and the impact it had on both of them

* The plot, pacing, setting, and writing

* That Minerva and Evan have their book up next

* Wondering if Ellis and Pandora will have books of their own

* The way that it all came together in the end and being able to look forward to the next book in the series

What I didn’t like: * Who and what I was meant not to like

* Thinking about the rudeness of some of those that thought themselves better than others based on their social status – mean spirited and entitled people that needed to be taken down a peg

Did I enjoy this book? Yes

Would I read more in this series? Definitely

I'm going to expose myself as watching harem trash but Chained Soldier was such a fucking disappointment. Prime example of the phenomenon of fake femdom media that is actually just 'wish fulfillment for guys who are too shy to ask women for anything'. A lot of anime falls into this tbh.

Marry My Husband Episode 11

It finally happened — the wedding we've all been waiting for!

This episode was a string of cheers and fist-pumps from start to finish. However, I admit the ending with Yang Joo-ran confessing her medical results was a damper on the otherwise perfect moment.

Watching as Jung Soo-min allowed Park Min-hwan's mother to organize the wedding was painful. She deserves every miserable moment, but imagine having a mother-in-law like that. However, knowing that Ji-won suffered the same thing tempered my sympathy.

The wedding was depressing — no one wanted to attend a cheater's wedding. But Ji-won showing up with Yoo Ji-hyuk, looking like a power couple, was satisfying. And don't even get me started when Ha Ye-ji showed up to wreak havoc and take revenge for Ji-won.

I'm curious to see how far Soo-min's fake pregnancy will go and also what will happen to our poor Joo-ran.

What I'm not excited about is Ji-hyuk's ex-fiancee reappearing. The storyline is good without throwing in a cliche arranged engagement (Cinderella vs. Evil Woman trope). However, I will wait for the next episode before I give further opinions.
