would love to see your designs / takes on the other ft founders ( Precht, Warrod, Yuri & Zera!)

I think I want to refine Precht in the future but I did enjoy coming up with ideas for them. Warrod is the largest departure I've taken from the og design so far. Either way hope this meets your expectations!

I imagine Mavis as 19-20 when they meet her giving us about 10 years before she dies. And Zero itself would take place about 300 years, give or take, before canon so we get a nice bit of time for things to change.

Okay concept for Zera. When Mavis realizes the truth of Zera's existence, at first she disappears. Then a couple days later she reappears with a more... realistic appearance. By this I mean she has injuries from the night she died. But additionally she has a small tail, a symbol of both her strange nature and the way she has been a driving force for Mavis. Additionally she fully grows up because Mavis interprets Zera as being unaffected by the curse.

They are both incredibly intelligent and would often spends days in their library gathering as much knowledge as they could

Zera is really fond of lizards

After Mavis tells her story to Fairy Tail, the guild adds a grave for Zera next to Mavis'

She is considered a founding member and is honored as such from then on

The girls are both really competitive. Especially with each other

Zera is super neat and organized while Mavis is usually an unintentional mess

Mavis has a habit of losing things, but Zera always knows where they are

Mavis is an optimist and Zera is a pessimist

They cuddle all the time

They have a secret handshake. No one is allowed to see it

ZERA - PORTRAYAL MASTER POST

This post is to cover all major canon divergences as well as any important details that are worth sharing about my portrayal of Zera. All of these points remain no matter the verse unless stated otherwise or plotted with specific partners. Zera has been my favorite character in the series and as the only person ever to roleplay her ( almost 10 years baby ), I have developed far beyond anything the original series could have intended. Please Note: Zera's portrayal is very heavily tied to my Mavis Portrayal

1 ) As stated in my Mavis Portrayal Notes, Zera would also be older during the events of Fairy Tail Zero. While she did die at the age of 6, her illusionary form would have aged alongside Mavis. Zera would have appeared as 15 when the events of Fairy Tail Zero began, and actually celebrated her birthday during this period of time, making her 16 when she disappeared.

2 ) To call Zera entirely an illusion would be inaccurate as she is not entirely a creation of Mavis' alone, as when Mavis' magic awoke the night Zera died, she had not only awaken her illusion magic, but also a type of Seith Magic, basically trapping Zera's soul into the illusion that Mavis had created. Zera's entire personality and behaviors are all her own. The moment her soul was set free was the moment Mavis made the illusion disappear.

3 ) There is almost a cosmic joke about Zera's existence alongside Mavis. If Mavis is conscious and about, Zera cannot exist, but is Mavis is either dead, unconscious, or in the primary case, comatose, Zera can exist. This contradiction has lead to Zera being a ghost of the original guild hall, constantly about and being seen by those who wear the guild's emblem, but due to her quiet and reserved nature, most have only seen her, but never interacted. There are many rumors of the Guild Hall being haunted, and she only claims them as half true.

4 ) Zera is very tight lipped and shy. She knows much more than she leads onto and tends to not interact with people unless absolutely necessary. A large part of this is due to the isolationist setting that was Tenro, and how her only constant companion was Mavis, but also due to how when she was alive, she tended to get burned a lot with relationships when speaking on what she knows. She is very much the type to keep you guessing at any given moment.

5 ) Upon Mavis' death, Zera retains most of the other's memories and a large portion of her magic. Zera is able to create illusions and projections of herself wherever deemed necessary, her soul being attached to the remnants of Mavis' magic more than the illusion itself. She still isn't active in the guild setting, but remains present enough to be known and will answer questions about Mavis and the founders when pushed. She deems herself more as a resource for the guild rather than an actual member of the guild ( especially considering how much of the original information within the guild has been lost due to the many destructions of the guild )

6 ) She can pick and choose who she is visible too, and typically it's a large sign of trust if you are able to see her constantly. Following Mavis' 'death', she made herself present to Warrod and Yuriy, feeling they should know of her reappearance, but was kept away from Precht due to his proximity to Mavis in the Lumine Histoire. Following Yuriy's death and Warrods departure from the guild, Zera would frequently visit Warrod, keeping him company and giving him accounts as to what was happening in the Fairy Tail guild after his departure.

As she is your OC, I've tried to include a little bit of discussion about why I selected these songs, but, unfortunately, my health isn't in the best shape so I'm not up for too much detailed discussion at the moment, I'm afraid. (Oh and thank you also for answering my ask and correcting my pronunciation of her name. I was pronouncing it "Zair-ah" but then there was a character named Zera in Fairy Tail Zero and her name was pronounced "Zee-rah" and it made me think of your Zera so I thought I had better ask for clarification 😅).

This Side of Paradise by Coyote Theory (YouTube Link) [For Her relationship with William and how they were both kind of lonely people (in a way) before they found each other by chance and built a relationship kind of based on the idea of being lonely together. Their relationship gives off that "So if you're lonely, no need to show me/if you're lonely, come be lonely with me" vibe, I think, and it's cute💕]
