That's your family and they dont know it's you Oops#ok anyways ever since i saw that post i was like damn. this is just how i view loop in party postcanon#for as much as I think they SHOULD go explore around and be their own person for a while i think realistically they would not do that.#theyre going to go be a weird freak hovering around the party and refusing to socialize with anyone but siffrin and theyre gonna feel awful#(read: they're going to antagonize siffrin and it fails tremendously bc now The Rumor Come Out and siffrin knows what loop is doing.)#like loop as much as they can barely stand to even look at isabeau (for instance) i think their claws are sunk far too deep in.#onehats maybe the circumstances are different because there is a gap in understanding. there's no point forcing siffrin to confront the#obvious conclusion that loop is them (and thus siffrin's happy ending nails loop's coffin)#(THIS IS IGNORING TWOHATS PREREQS GOTTEN ONEHATS. #ueueue i think about how much minazuki cares about sho so so much#like. he awoke within sho and just immediately decided he was going to dedicate his Entire Existance to this one boys well-being#he recognized the mistreatment and tragedy of shos current situation and resolved to fix that#by (attempting to) kill the source (ikutsuki)#and literally all the events of arena/ultimax was a plan that HE made specifically to grant shos wish#even suffering through working with kagutsuchi (who he HATES and distrusts immediately) just to make sure sho gets what he wants#but also like. hes so far into his devotion for sho that he refuses to see himself as an individual person with his own desires#he views himself as more or less an extension of sho#all the while separating himself from the identity of 'sho' and distancing himself from his experiences#he doesnt refer to sho by name and he refers to ikutsuki solely as 'HIS' father. not 'our' father not 'my' father. here's how I'm doing my own fuckin november writing event since nanowrimo destroyed itself (by grooming minors and endorsing ai):
pacemaker to establish my word count goals (very flexible!) and spit out the numbers I love so much - I don't use this beyond coming up with my initial goals but you can track progress on this site too
the writing log spreadsheet to track progress (this is the same spreadsheet I use for my professional writing - it tracks your annual words, words per hour, per project, all kindsa stuff but there's a lot of free alternatives like this one designed specifically for a november 50k)
scrivener for planning and writing. they have a free 30 day trial and a special project for tracking a 50k event with the targets set up already, but it's very easy to do this on your own too. unfortunately they are still supporting nanowrimo this year for some batshit reason but since I bought the program two years ago, I'm still gonna use it ok
a physical journal with daily targets (this is the only reason I used pacemaker tbh) and stickers and washi tape is something I do every year as a way to feel more connected with what I'm doing AND play with stickers and glitter gel pens
what I am missing is a community of accountability pals and a place to do writing sprints so if you're interested in doing any kind of writing challenge in november, maybe we can do it together?

Yeah you see personally I’m not ready for parenthood in anyway if I found out that someone made a 16 year old with half my dna while I was dead and that 16 year old didn’t even have a name and was living in a government lab I’d at least make the effort to be involved in his helping him set up a non-superhero related personal life and not be involved with the ethically dubious lab that created him, you know?
I’m not saying he has to be full on dad and I’m not saying he was this terrible monster to Superboy, I’m just saying he could stepped a lot more in a lot of ways and he didn’t and because he’s Superman, paragon of goodness and doing the right thing and helping others, and Superboy was actively exploited by other adults in his life rather publicly and homeless at one point is shall we say a bad look
He doesn’t have to be full on “I’m your dad let’s go out for ice cream son” but the fact he had a kid related to him at the very least very publicly dating a much older woman and didn’t have an actual name until like a year into his existence is a very much you could have stepped up at the very least as a mentor a lot more, Clark
Also being a dad isn’t the only way you can be there for someone

timmer's relationship with handsome jackhole is literally just the equivalent to an abusive ex; it's like . . . he wants to forget about him and wants to just move on with his life but yknow °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖° >decade's worth of time both being around the guy and having to pretend to be the guy means that so much of his personality is now directly tied to that experience
so, naturally, jack haunts his thoughts a lot (and congratulations, jack; i'm sure you'd be thrilled) jack comes up in conversation more than tim wants him to, but it's that case of "i have soooo much to complain about hold on--" and just word-vomiting for hours about the insanity (which just in turn makes him look obsessed with the bastard)
timmy's caught in a place of not knowing who he is anymore and feeling like jack's basically infected him so badly that he now literally possesses a lot of jack's traits—so do those traits just make up timothy now, or does he need to shake them off to actually find the sucker beneath them? do they count as his personality, now?? or just remnants of all that acting he had to do for so long?
basically just . . . boy doesn't know who the hell he is and will struggle for a long time to ever shake off the influence jack had on him, so ♡(◕ᗜ◕✿) we ball!!

Oh. I forgot what kind of story this was.
She ends up short circuiting the main terminals and letting it crash into a processing facility. Then she takes a stress nap and worsens her insomnia.
#sera in her big girl suit- one she designed herself for once#Reddish Burgundy has always been her favorite color#And the gold comes from the suit's integration with her weapon#There's a very specific reason why all of her weapons are made of that “gold”#One of the rare times you get to see her back for once#That big weaponized drone is an OVR-S; also known as overseer sentinels. They are the eyes in the sky keeping count of everything for OS.#They are rarely used for combat due to the size and inconvenience in battle#but certain exceptions are made for threats like Sera.#She took something far too important from the main OS to be left with all her limbs in one piece and a head full of eyeballs#No opportunities will be wasted. Sera hates these because they rarely have a pilot and often take ages to hack into.#plus they fail spectacularly#one crash from these ships is enough to destroy a city district- they're easily the size of a football field#Even worse yet are the rotary blades used to rudder the ships. They could easily slice her in half- armor and all#She has thankfully managed to avoid dying to them thus far. they usually end up crashing into the ocean and ruining variant imports#sentinels will usually monitor under a more advanced cloaking than the kind given to protected variants#Just under the cloud cover. Hii fang, I wanted to ask you if you’ve read or watched Tokyo Revengers, and if you’ve done a character analysis on Mikey? ? I feel like he’s such a complex character and I’m super interested to hear about your thoughts on him. Sorry if you’ve answered this before or haven’t watched it! I just wanted to ask just in case
i have read all of TR and ending aside im a huge fan of the manga
i love mikey!! i think i've written about him once or twice. if i were to read TR in the good year of 2024, i would definitely yanderify the fuck out of that guy LMAOO.
i think he's ultimately just a very damaged character who i'll always defend. he was very clearly unstable for a lot of the series and his general apathy and immorality in other timelines were because of the overarching and inescapable themes of loss in each one. i think the way a lot of people wrote about him at TRs peak was really unsymapthetic djfjsdkksd.
i understand peoples frustration with him i just find him to be a hugely tragic character because he very clearly wants to be because he often contradicts himself . but most importantly he's my handsome and silly little guy
#return to sender#this might sound odd but he reminds me a bit of getou#in that i think these are both emotionally fragile characters who don't have the right moral constitution to deal with grief#both mikey and getou suffered similar losses resulting in them lashing out as a result of whats ultimately sensitivity#they needed a lot more of a support system to keep them stabilized and the system around them failed them#but i felt that people were especially unwilling to show this sympathy to mikey#i assume that that happened because mikey is a real life example of criminality and lack of social security and infrastructure lol#unlike getou who deals with a very fantastical version of suffering that is unimaginable and thus to many people more forgiveable#whereas the behavior mikey displays through the series is not far from reality basically#so much discourse abt that guy was sooo wild lmaoo#he is my silly little baby#dont take any tr meta seriously though its been like 3 years since ive read the series#but i love that guy
