Sun, in his current “Eclipse needs to die yesterday” state, being introduced to the various Eclipse’s Lunar and/or Moon adopt for the the first time? Before today’s bs, of course, because I doubt Lunar would let Sun near any Eclipses after that.
Not all at once or in the same timeline, just how you think a first meeting with each one would go if Sun had no previous exposure to any nice Eclipses?
Sun would probably be very upset meeting Good Eclipse but eventually he’d come the realization Lunar did that ‘oh, he’s just a mechanic’.
If he met Kill Lunar Eclipse, he’d be quite startled to meet a blind Eclipse whose just as snarky and sarcastic but no longer evil. But meeting him may just give him light on his Eclipse’s mindset because KL Eclipse more freely talks about his feelings with his brothers and would do the same with Sun if he asked.
Dadclipse, being the closest Eclipse to Sun’s own, would just stare at Sun and explain every single bit of his own, and therefore canon Eclipse’s, reasonings for the things they did.
Meeting either memory loss Eclipse or factory reset Eclipse would show Sun the scenarios where Eclipse lost his memory and the ramifications it left on them, ML Eclipse being essentially a feral stray only knowing how to survive on the streets and FR Eclipse being a blank slate with trauma but no memories to attach to the various traumas. He’d be very protective of these two, regardless of which one he met, it would greatly change his mindset with Eclipse in general.
Human Eclipse would be a horrific meeting for both parties. Human Eclipse is terrified of everyone, because, in his eyes, everyone is a threat and he could be hurt by anyone. Sun would be more scared of all the bruises and cuts and wounds on human Eclipse because he knows humans are fragile and he would have to calm him down and comfort him before being able to talk to him.
With stress response Eclipse, Sun would be very skeptical because he’s very quiet and he doesn’t speak much because he’s scared of being stressed to breaking again. But once they begin talking, Sun feels very differently about Eclipses knowing his own could break under pressure just like SR Eclipse and would likely feel quite protective of his own Eclipse, despite their past.

(Update 6/3)
Sit down a spell, weary traveler. Come and sit by my fire; bask in the warmth of the flame and rest your aching scrolling finger. You'll be sitting a while, for I have a tale to tell:
Okay, so I've had a Toshiba laptop for the better part of ten years. Maybe a little longer. That laptop has survived being struck by lightning, submerged in a bathtub, and literally having a whole bookcase topple down onto it. I thought it was immortal...
I was sadly mistaken.
About six months ago, I noticed that the typing was getting sluggish. I'd patter away at the keyboard and the letters would appear with a bit of lag. That's fine, since I use Dragon to talk-to-text for quite a bit of my writing. I really only use the keyboard for final assembly, editing, and doing quick rewrites. So, it really didn't bother me. Fastforward to April, which we will call The Great Depression. The time discrepancy between typing and having letters appear on screen became a whopping 40 seconds. Yes, I timed it.
But that was okay, because I could still use my Dragon headset.
Until I couldn't.
It would connect, but the words wouldn't appear on screen. I made sure that all of my programs were up-to-date, and that everything was working. The headset connected to my family's computers just fine. So that meant it was something wrong with mine.
Without being sure if it was the hardware or software at fault, I backed everything up to OneDrive and Google Docs.
I factory reset.
Twice. To no avail.
Over the next few days, my laptop stopped registering any keyboard input at all. It got to a point where I wasn't able to turn it on or off.
Taking it to an electronics store to get repaired didn't help, either. No luck. They said that it would be more cost effective to just buckle down and get a new one, since the age of the laptop meant that I would probably be constantly maintaining it.
My poor Toshiba died kicking and screaming, putting up a fight worthy of an epic ballad.
I saved up for a few weeks, got a new laptop, and went through the rigmarole of getting all of my programs back on it. My files are in order. My life is in shambles (but that's normal, LOL).
I DID do some story work without my computer, but... it's bad. Like, I'd die in shame if I posted anything that I thumbed in. So. Many. Spelling. Errors. How people write on their phone is beyond me. That's a talent I simply don't possess.
At this point, I'm thinking of renaming this story "HIATUS" lol. JK. But I'm seriously peeved that this happened after my last big break. Why couldn't the Depression and laptop breakdown coincide nicely? I guess that's too much to ask of the universe *Shakes fist at the sky*.
I'm creating a damn bingo card for every stupid thing that happens to me while I try to write. Because this is getting ridiculous. I broke my fingers, there was a total solar eclipse, I had a major-ish mental breakdown, and my computer bit the big one. With a free space, that's a bingo. Let's hope I don't get a blackout before the end of 2024.
I doubted the fanfiction curse. I really did. But it's apparently real. And this writer's curse has teeth, people. It bites hard.
I have my MerMay two-shot pretty well done (because I was typing it during The Great Depression), but the next chapter for REARRANGED is still rough. Crimson Chapter 3 is halfway done, but who knows how long that'll take.
The bottom line is that I'm alive and still working on the stories. The next update on this blog will be the posting of several chapters for a few different works. Fingers crossed.
Also, I'm very, very slowly answering the comments in my AO3 inbox. Some of them were pretty lengthy, so it might take a bit. Oof.
If there ever comes a time that I drop this fanfiction or am unable to continue for whatever reason, either I or my husband will be posting the entirety of my outline, as well as anything that's been pre-written for you guys to enjoy. That way there are no questions left unanswered or mysteries unsolved.

Ruin spoilers ahead
I have to clear this off my chest before I go to sleep cause it’s 3:30 am.
Okay so Sun leaves notes and drawing all across the daycare’s remains to guide someone, right? They could have been just so he can guide himself through the new terrain… But I feel like it’s something more.
It may be too early to theorize… But the fact Sun said they need “resetting” confuses and alarms me. It makes sense with the glitch in Moon’s system, and if you do it with the Vanny mask on Sun says “NO NOT ME! The other me!”
But I’m wondering if Moon is still in there…. Sun says “Thank you” at the end, but where is Moon speaking? Sun said they had to be made whole again, but what does that entail? Has Moon become Eclipse or has Sun and Moon simply been completely reset and merged?
There could also be the possibility that Moon was ‘factory’ reset, and his new self and Sun merged due to a singular goal in mind of making sure she was okay and safely out of the daycare. Still makes me wonder… And the song Sun sings when you have the mask on for a long time is haunting, and shows how much suffering he feels. How lonely he is with his “play clay” all dry and crumbly, and all the google eyes staring… He’s broken both mentally and physically.
Makes me wonder if he knew he might forget everything and possibly be wiped out of existence from the reset… The last words we hear from sun after leaving the daycare sounds echoey, similar to the laughing of ghost children in the daycare you hear with the Vanny mask…
So much to think on… Gonna watch more in the morning, but for now I need to sleep

Lord Eclipse is selfish. He almost takes the little nutcase home. He’d definitely try a memory wipe to see if factory resetting him works. If that fails, he realizes that no, he can’t take this home to the one brother who isn’t here, that would be so cruel to make him see this. But he’s so very tempted. He ends up summoning a Witherstorm on the way out, to erase all traces of this horrible place existing.
Revived Bloodmoon and Lord’s Brother are concerned and try to comfort this broken version of their brother. They get so distressed when they can’t.
If he and Lord Night haven’t had that talk yet, he’d also erase Revived Bloodmoon and Lord’s Brother’s memories of this. Another horrible thing he’ll remember that they won’t.
Lord Monty is the rational one. The one who offers to put him out of his misery. None of them can watch, but they all hear the crunching.
Lord Eclipse has to drag his brothers home, and memory wipe or not, they all snuggle Lord Night desperately for awhile. And spend the next few nights in his room.
If they remember, Lunar and Bloody will come to Eclipse about nightmares and cry on him. Maybe even lash out because “Why couldn’t you save him, you’re god”, making him feel worse. He’ll cry on Monty a lot while they all grieve, and cone to him with so many nightmares of failure.
He’ll also offer Solar to wipe his memory of that dimension, but Solar is one of three people he’d never dare memory-wipe without consent, so he likely keeps that incredibly traumatic memory.
I think a memory wipe would fuck with his head MORE, because he’d still have the effects from being alone but then just have no idea why. Which would likely scare him even more. But you’re absolutely right that keeping him wouldn’t go down well with actual lord night and probably scare the shit out of him.
They could try to comfort him, though he won’t know how to react. Hugs and stuff are things he’s fine with but he also doesn’t know any of them are even real so he’d likely handle them as if they are another hallucination he’s having.
It would be disturbingly easy to kill him. He wouldn’t even fight back, likely wouldn’t even understand what’s happening even when lord Monty grabs his head. He’d just stare up at him like a confused puppy, which almost makes it worse.
Honestly revived bloodmoon and lords brother Lunar learning that not everyone can be saved and that sometimes it’s too late would be a dark but needed lesson. They have to understand that if they go to other dimensions regularly, they have to understand that sometimes you can’t do anything.
I don’t know if Solar would want his memory wiped, or if he’d keep this memory just because he never wants his memories to be altered.
It’s ironic that the one person who has zero idea about what happened is the person it’s about. So the group comes back to their dimension after having to kill another version of their brother, and then come in on their sane brother who just shows them excitedly that he made the void cat a little top-hat, completely oblivious to what they just saw. He’d be concerned when they all just initiate a family cuddle and refuse to let go for a while, but wouldn’t be against it- just worried and try to cautiously ask what it is they saw.

9 Fandom Peeps to Get to Know Better:
tagged by @itsanidiom, who wrote my fave PhayaTharn ff I'm obsessed with in unhealty ways.
So:
3 Ships You Like:
VegasPete. Where it all began. My blorbos. My babygirls. Never not thinking about them.
Tumblr media
Chen Yi/Ai Di. Do I have to say more.
Tumblr media
Akk/Ayan. Akk is my boy. I love the Eclipse so much.
Tumblr media
First Ship Ever:
The oldest I can remember was being obsessed with Chazz and Alexis from Yu Gi Oh GX. Well, more like I loved Chazz and Alexis was the only girl around. Apparently the original names are Jun Manjome and Asuka Tenjoin, as I just learned.
Tumblr media
Last Song You Heard:
Steal the Show by SHAUN and Jeff Satur, I think. Jeff, you're the prettiest man alive and I would give everything to be as pretty as you.
Favorite Childhood Book:
I was obsessed with Roald Dahl, particularly Chocolate Factory and the Witches.
I was a bit older, but I can't not mention my namesake, Elianto by Stefano Benni, who shaped me and my insufferable way of speaking and made my sense of humor even worse. I haven't reread it in years, I should do it.
Tumblr media
Currently Reading:
Apart from the million fan fiction tabs I have open, I don't really have the attention span at the moment. I have like ten books near my bed and I can't read more than two pages at once. The ones at the top are Vespertine by Margareth Rogerson and a book about fabrics.
Currently watching:
I'm watching 1000 years old, but I'm not invested. Same thing with Anti Reset. Oh, I'm also watching 23.5 and Deep Night. I've finally finished everything I started at the end of last year and now I have to survive in a world without Pit Babe and the Sign every week. Pavel, come and save me.
Currently consuming:
If this is about food, tea and almond paste biscuits. If this is about media, I just watched episode 2 of 1000 years old.
Currently craving:
Some sleep, some good series, a better job and enough vacation days to go and spend all my money on visiting Thailand.

Kicks feet and giggles ❤️
I love this.
Plus, it's so crazy that in the very infinitesimal stretch that a Moon does claim Sun as a brother that's all he gets known as. It's stated in the show that in the infinitely expanding multiverse a Sun that calls Moon a brother is so rare. Even Puppet's Sun and Moon didn't call each other brothers and literally tore each other apart (still crazy to me that everyone just ignores the twins when they are beefing to death). Adding to this, the relationship between Sun and Moon is almost never defined by Moon because usually he just chooses to kill Sun (even the Old Moon of the show was going to kill Sun up until the split and it messes me up our Sun STILL doesn't get to know that).
Even Ruin Eclipse or The SB Eclipse only comes about from Sun. In Ruin's flash back Sun was the one to suggest they combine and in the games to protect the little girl Sun begged her to turn the lights on so she could get close enough to factory reset their AI.
Dark Sun is so interesting to me, like bro is in the kitchen but I don't know what he's cooking but I'm gonna eat it up regardless.
From what I've seen so far he hasn't even done anything 'evil'. In every other instance when we meet an evil version of a character there's no doubt they're evil because they usually try to just immediately kill someone or their entire dimension is destroyed by their actions.
So far, all we've seen from Dark Sun is he claimed to reprogram Monty (with no physical evidence), he lied about killing his Moon (I'm not caught up but I believe his Moon is alive? I think he's torturing him and that is wrong but I believe it's probably retaliatory in this case), and he's done 'something' to Ruin and Eclipse but when checked nothing could be found on them.
For how 'evil' he seems, he hasn't actually done anything to actively harm anyone. He doesn't seek to harm? (He doesn't seem above torture but in most examples it's because someone stepped up to him) He's also totally fine manipulating others into doing his bidding. It's really interesting!
I can't help but think Dark Sun wants acceptance but only from another Sun?
I get the vibes Dark Sun is going to try and make a Sun counsel with our Sun's help because after looking into the multiverse I think he's tired of seeing his fellow Suns suffering for no reason. Might be a hot take but out of everyone a conglomerate of Suns I feel like would thrive.
welcome to another episode of helined overthinking simple lines in a silly fnaf rp!! today we have:
in "unforeseen consequences", dark sun goes,
"your sun, that sun. heh, that sun. his sun."
the words "his sun" are said with an almost vicious tone, and by "his" i can only imagine it's in reference to nexus/moon. and like. god i don't know how to explain, but something about that line makes me think that d!sun hates referring to sun as "moon's brother" since that's what most suns are boiled down to - they're just moon's brother, and that's that.
and dark sun hates being boiled down to that. he hates just being the other half of something, not even being called by his own name. just the other half - the brother of moon. but since he has no other way to properly distinguish who he's talking about other than "that sun", "his sun" it is
or maybe that's just me overanalyzing a single line who knows anymore

What if something comes up, and Moon has to do something and Lunar’s in another dimension, so Sun is stuck on babysitter duty. And the power goes out, scaring factory reset Eclipse, who’s now stuck in the darkness, alone with the guy who hates him?
Eclipse would likely hide and Sun would get frustrated and yank Monty in to ‘find the little bastard’ and Monty just slowly and carefully inches him out of his hiding place in the play structure and holds him while Sun pouts and broods.
He gets an absolute lecture when the others come home though, he doesn’t escape the lecture, nobody can. Lunar is upset he let the poor thing cry and be alone in the dark of all things and Moon is upset Sun handed him off to someone else who barely knows what they’re doing ‘no offense Monty’ ‘none taken’ and not at least comforting the poor thing while the lights were out.
If Kill Code is even awake or aware enough, he sou even care that Sun disregarded his son, far too busy holding and comforting him and making sure he’s okay.

Oh, 2019, What A Year You Were.
It is now a bit before 6pm on January 01, 2020. I just finished unpacking after coming home from my short holiday escape to Berlin for New Year’s with my best friend and frequent travel buddy. My feet are tired, my back hurts, and I’m sitting in bed now, thinking back on this last year and, it’s kind of hard for me to decide if it was a good year or less so.
My 2019 was not as eventful as my 2018. There was no large adventure to speak of like going to New York City for six months, or having to adjust back to life in Switzerland after that. 2019 was just…..uni. The same old trudge of going to class and thinking about texts that should be read (but wouldn’t be), the same old treading water without direction, stuck in one place, unsure what comes next. Or, at least, that’s what it feels like looking back on it.
When I did this looking back the last time, 2018 was not quite over yet. It was still December, I had a few more days of uni to go, all the Christmases and other celebrations still before me. At that point, I had no idea that I would meet a couple of people at the Christmas Party of our English Department and that these people would be largely responsible for tipping the scale of 2019 into ‘good’.
But I did. I did meet these lovely people I get to call something akin to family today. It’s only been a year, and I can’t quite believe it. Found family has always been my favourite trope in storytelling, and this little group of weirdos is exactly that. And to quote my favourite little alien creature, this is my family. I found it, all on my own. It’s little, and broken, but still good. Yeah, still good.
These people are not perfect, they’re not flawless, they’re not angels. But they have more humanity between them than I’ve seen in a long fucking while. We’re all broken people, none of us is any better than the next, but we have heart. And I love them all so fucking much. They have all coloured in parts of my year in their own colours and I could not be happier about it. They’re a bunch of fucking weirdo nerds, but they’re my bunch of fucking weirdo nerds.
* * *
This year was, while largely uneventful, also very special in its own way. You know, after talking to my doc to get a date for a transgender consultation, my plan was basically to wait until I got it all lined up nicely, got my first shot of testosterone and then be like "hello world, this is happening, and if you have anything against it, whoops, too late.” Well, it didn’t quite work out like that. If you’ve been keeping up with this blog or my life in general, you know that my anxious ass decided to have a nervous break in the middle of January and come out to literally everyone then and there. And you know what? It’s good.
I’m not where I want to be, not at all. After January, I had expectations for 2019, I had hopes and dreams, wishes and plans. Unfortunately, that lead to a series of events that is tipping the scale of this year into ‘bad’. I wrote about this extensively before, but the process of starting testosterone is a long and tedious one and I am still not where I want to be, even after this entire year, but I currently see a shiny dot on the horizon that looks very promising in that department, and if everything goes as it should, it won’t be long now until I can start with the hormone treatment.
2019 started me down a road of self-discovery that is more open and public than it was before, and I am glad for it. But I don’t want to linger on that part of my year for too long. Let us look back for a while, relive some moments here and there.
On the train home from the airport today, I thought about what I did exactly one year ago. After everyone who had been at my place for New Year’s had left around lunch time on January 01, 2019, I had sat down in front of my TV and started a very movie and tv show heavy year. Over the course of this entire year, I noted down every movie and tv show episode, every short film and comedy special, everything that I watched. It…..added up quite a bit, to be completely honest. Let’s see….
For reference, I had holidays during January and half of February, as well as June all through August and half of September, and then again from the 21st of December onward. My marathon didn’t quite subside during university, but at least I didn’t binge quite so much.
In total, I watched 178 movies, 10 short films, and 685 episodes of 34 tv shows. That is 300h12 in movies, 1h38 in short films, and roughly 519h47 in tv show episodes. (Yes, I did just spend way too much time looking up all the run times…) That is a rough total of 821h37 for this year. That’s like….a bit over a month of time spent watching stuff. 1/12 of my year spent in front of a screen. Not entirely sure how I feel about this number.
I know that for some this might sound a bit excessive, but to be honest? There is so much more I want to watch and if I could do completely as I please, these numbers would look a lot different.
Here is, with the exact intention of being a big mess of a block, all the movies I watched in 2019. I highlighted a few that stood out to me especially. Not just because I liked them very much, or because they were particularly excellent, just because….they made me feel something different, I guess. The oldest movie I watched was Grease (1978) and the newest would be the comedy special John Mulaney and the Sack Lunch Bunch from this year. I started my year with Night at the Museum (2006) and ended it with season five of Leverage.
Grease (1978), My Neighbour Totoro (1988), Die Hard (1988), Batman (1989), Die Hard 2: Die Harder (1990), Die Hard with a Vengeance (1995), Othello (1995), Mission Impossible (1996), Mary Reilly (1996), Wilde (1997), Animated Epics: Beowulf (1998), Mission Impossible II (2000), Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001), The Fast and the Furious (2001), Ocean’s Eleven (2001), Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (2001), Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002), Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002), Heartlands (2002), xXx (2002), 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003), Underworld (2003), Bright Young Things (2003), Timeline (2003), The Deal (2003), Ocean’s Twelve (2004), Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004), Laws of Attraction (2004), Dirty Filthy Love (2004), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005), Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005), Kingdom of Heaven (2005), The League of Gentlemen’s Apocalypse (2005), The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006), Underworld: Evolution (2006), Mission Impossible III (2006), Inside Man (2006), Night at the Museum (2006), The Da Vinci Code (2006), The Queen (2006), Die Hard 4.0: Live Free or Die Hard (2007), Music Within (2007), Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007), Ocean’s Thirteen (2007), Zodiac (2007), Iron Man (2008), Twilight (2008), Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian (2009), Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009), Twilight: New Moon (2009), The Damned United (2009), Fast & Furious (2009), Sherlock Holmes (2009), The Holiday (2009), Angels & Demons (2009), Underworld: Rise of the Lycans (2009), Inception (2010), The Bounty Hunter (2010), Twilight: Eclipse (2010), Alice in Wonderland (2010), Tron: Legacy (2010), Megamind (2010), Valentine’s Day (2010), The Expendables (2010), Red (2010), Eat Pray Love (2010), Iron Man 2 (2010), Beautiful Boy (2010), Fast Five (2011), Fright Night (2011, twice), Resistance (2011), Few Options, All Bad (2011), Jesus Henry Christ (2011), Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 (2011), Mission Impossible IV: Ghost Protocol (2011), Pitch Perfect (2012), Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 (2012), White House Down (2013), Admission (2013), I Give It A Year (2013), Escape Plan (2013), The Adventurer: Curse of the Midas Box (2013), Furious 6 (2013), A Good Day to Die Hard (2013), Red 2 (2013), Begin Again (2013), Saving Mr. Banks (2013), Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb (2014), Kill the Messenger (2014), The Monuments Men (2014), Midnight in Paris (2014), Paddington (2014), The Imitation Game (2014), Maleficent (2014), Chelsea Peretti: One Of The Greats (2014), John Mulaney: The Comeback Kid (2015, twice), Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation (2015), Far From the Madding Crowd (2015), 7 Days in Hell (2015), Furious Seven (2015), Assassin’s Creed (2016), Alice Through the Looking Glass (2016), Patton Oswalt: Talking for Clapping (2016), Ali Wong: Baby Cobra (2016), Nocturnal Animals (2016), She Loves Me (2016), Passengers (2016), Norman: The Moderate Rise and Tragic Fall of a New York Fixer (2016), xXx: The Return of Xander Cage (2017), Michael Bolton’s Big, Sexy Valentine’s Day Special (2017), Brad’s Status (2017), Home Again (2017), Murder On The Orient Express (2017), Christmas Inheritance (2017), Paddington 2 (2017), You, Me & Him (2017), Beauty and the Beast (2017), Trevor Noah: Afraid of the Dark (2017), Dave Chappelle: The Age of Spin (2017), Dave Chappelle: Deep in the Heart of Texas (2017), Patton Oswalt: Annihilation (2017), Jack Whitehall: At Large (2017), Hasan Minhaj: Homecoming King (2017), Katherine Ryan: In Trouble (2017), Mission Impossible: Fallout (2018), Slaughterhouse Rulez (2018), The Fate of the Furious (2018), Love, Simon (2018), Ocean’s 8 (2018, twice), Bad Samaritan (2018), John Mulaney: Kid Gorgeous (2018, twice), Hannah Gadsby: Nanette (2018), Daniel Sloss: Dark (2018), Daniel Sloss: Jigsaw (2018), Trevor Noah: Son of Patricia (2018), Ali Wong: Hard Knock Wife (2018), James Acaster: Recognise (2018), James Acaster: Represent (2018), James Acaster: Reset (2018), James Acaster: Recap (2018), Apostle (2018), The Holiday Calendar (2018), The Princess Switch (2018), The Christmas Chronicles (2018), Captain Marvel (2019, twice), Shazam! TV shows are going to make up a block a bit less intimidating, but here goes. Again, highlighted what stood out to me especially.
The Gifted, Friends, NCIS, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Money Heist, Riverdale, The Punisher, Broadchurch, Elite, Doctor Who, Dramarama, Agents of SHIELD, Pokémon Indio League, Good Omens, The Chef Show, Jessica Jones, Halt and Catch Fire, The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, The Simpsons, 30 Rock, The Good Fight, Sean’s Show, Gallowglass, Animals., The Spoils of Babylon, Pobol Y Cwm, Masters of Sex, Prodigal Son, Criminal UK, The Politician, Leverage, His Dark Materials, Zona Rosa, Derry Girls
Some old favourites in there. Some new ones too. I won’t list the shorts because I don’t particularly care for them. I watched them solely for binging-through-someone’s-filmography reasons.
So yeah, as you can see, a very strong year when it comes to the visual medium. I just really love movies and tv shows so much. I love this kind of storytelling, this particular form of it. There’s so much artistry there, so many talented people. I still very much would love to work in the movie world at some point. Inspires me greatly. Always has.
* * *
2019 was not just a year of sitting glued to a TV screen, not at all. I’ve been some places too, got to do and experience some cool stuff.
In April I was able to take a few days off and go to Lugano with my dear friend and relax for a little while. We also met up with one of the lovely people I’ve met through twitter, which was great fun and we’ve spent a fantastic day together (eating food I still catch myself thinking about at least twice a week).
In June I went to Pride in Zurich with my friends, which was also a wonderful experience all together.
In July I was able to go to Cologne for half a week for CCXP, where I got to see some great panels and meet some great people. And, most importantly and also the reason why I went, I got to meet Zachary Levi again, take a picture together, have a wonderful conversation while he signed something for me, and experience an incredibly inspiring panel where I got to ask him a question that he took the time and patience to extensively answer. I treasure these moments, just as I treasure all our previous meetings and the friends and experiences that have come with it. Seeing him again after two years was definitely the highlight of the year, and it’s a strong weight of the good part in the scale that is 2019. He’s always a highlight, the dude. I can’t wait until I get to see that face again.
Also in July, I joined a few friends for a weekend at a medieval festival in Germany, which was also a very interesting and good experience.
And now at the end of the year, I spent a few days in Berlin, visiting museums and bookshops and generally touristing about with my dearest friend, celebrated New Year’s with her in the only way we know how: with good wine, food, warmth, and a tv show we both love and hold dear.
I also shouldn’t forget the two parties I attended of our university’s English Department, and the Halloween party a friend organised, and the birthdays I attended over the year, as well as the Christmas I spent with my friends at my place.
All these things, all these little bits add up and add up and ultimately I want to think that 2019 was a good year. I am so glad this year is over, but looking back I find so many good things that have happened, so many wonderful experiences, and I wonder, why? Why am I so happy it is over? Why am I so desperate to move forward, to turn the page, to start a new chapter, a new book?
I don’t know. I really don’t know.
* * *
For this new year, for 2020, I have a few wishes. I’m not really one to make resolutions, because I know exactly I won’t hold myself to it, but I have some things I’d like to do, like to try.
2019 was my year of movies and shows. I won’t stop watching things, I’ll never stop watching things. But for this year, I want to put my focus elsewhere. This year, I’d like to try and read all the books that have amassed themselves in my possession, that I haven’t actually read yet. It’s doable, I don’t own enormous amounts of books yet. I want to try that. I want to try to read more, to find that passion and attention span again that I had as a kid. I might try to blog a bit about it, just so I have something to hold me accountable. We’ll see. But I just really want to read more. Carry a book everywhere I go.
I know that 2020 is bringing me another step closer to becoming my truest self. I have my next appointment with the hormone specialist early in February, and if I am not entirely mistaken (or something is drastically changed) I will be able to start taking hormones then and there. Starting testosterone is going to be exciting and interesting, and I am very much looking forward to it. What I want for myself this year, is to take it easy. Be kind to myself in this journey. Let myself be gentle. I always have so many expectations for myself, and I really just want to try and…let myself be, let myself just live and experience things as they come. No expectations.
This first half year of 2020 is also the time I will be writing my Bachelor thesis and, hopefully, by summer I’ll have my degree. It’ll be a tough but I hope also rewarding time for me. Having to shift the way I write papers (quick, barely researched and sourced, not even remotely re-read, always started mere hours before the deadline) to something more useful for a thesis, something fitting for a thesis, is going to be challenging. Keeping my head in the right space, keeping the focus and doing the work, it’s all going to be hard for me. But I have faith that I will find a way to reign in my scatterbrain and flick the hyper-focus switch into something that will be sustainable for the time I have to write my thesis in.
Speaking of my thesis, there is something I have not mentioned yet, that strongly informed my experience of 2019. Good Omens is the book I’ll be writing my thesis about (specifically a queer theological reading of it) and Good Omens was the story that has shaped my year. I re-read the book at the beginning of term and once the mini-series came out at the end of May, I did not really think about anything else since. This book and this show are so incredibly important to me, and it is, after a long while of nothing even remotely getting there, the first thing that has captured my attention so strongly, that it has outlasted my one-month hyper-focus ability and shows no signs of stopping any time soon. And that I am so incredibly grateful for. I wasn’t sure if I could still do it. Have an interest, have passion for something, for longer than a month. So many things I tried and loved and done, and after a single month, I dropped them like a hot potato and never touched them again. But Good Omens came and took me by my hand and lead me into the promised land. Especially since the show came out, I feel like a changed person. I have talked about it to no end, and I could go on forever now too, but I’ll just say this for now: This story of an angel and a demon crossing the divide that is their differences, coming together in love for the world, for humanity, and each other, this story means everything to me, and it has given me so much. Nothing is ever going to change that. That is irrevocable. And I know that 2020 won’t change that fact. I have faith that this passion will continue on and will inspire more positive change in me. It’s already started bringing me back to writing and drawing, so I know that it will lead me somewhere.
There is so much more I could say here, now, about 2019, about 2020. About my plans and my wishes, my dreams and the things I ought to do. But I think, I’ll leave it at that, for now. I tried this monthly blogging last year for the first time, and I think I’ll try to continue doing it. So, you can expect to read more of my thoughts on all kinds of things.
For now, however, let me say this: 2020 can be anything you want it to be. 2020 is yours to shape, yours to create in, yours to manage, yours to use. I want my 2020 to be gentle, to be taken one step at a time, to be experienced to the fullest, to be lived and felt and actively experienced. Sure, bad things can happen, bad things can always happen. But it’s your decision what happens next.
In 2020, I want to start loving more unapologetically. Do good, recklessly. Be kind, always. Not just to others, but to myself.
I have faith in us, you know? Humans. There’s so much hope there, still. 2020 might just as well show it.
Happy New Year, everyone. I hope it’ll be a good one for you.

You know, I already have my Mass Reset AU, where Monty takes Moon’s advice, fucks up, uses too much Star power (Moon warned him to only use a tiny amount of Star power), and ends up accidentally using the Star for its originally intended purpose of factory resetting every animatronic.
But now, I’m having ideas of “What If Monty Actually Pulled It ”What if Monty actually pulled it off, resulting in Monty being already attuned to the Star when Eclipse gets it?”
Eclipse is so busy trying to figure out the Star and why it’s not working right, he doesn’t bother anyone for over a week after getting it. In that time, Lunar is rescued and has the bomb and all of Eclipse’s failsafes removed, New Moon gets exposure to Lunar to keep him from forming his weird complex about old Moon, Earth gets settled in comfortably, and Sun, Lunar, and Monty are all freaking out because what the hell is Eclipse planning? (Monty does not realize they’ve attuned themself to the Star by using it to resetting Foxy. That’s something their experiments in trying to destroy it couldn’t have taught them)🦇
So he isn’t attuned to the star in canon, because that happens when you use a lot of star power? That would make sense honestly. But about this au. It sounds very interesting ngl!

Every single pseudo deep surface level spiritualectual on this website: this eclipse is not just a new beginning, its a Complete & Total rebirth, a legitimate personal factory reset. The past few weeks have been preparing us for something Big & Life changing, & we need to be ready for what the universe is putting in front of us, tomorrow is going to Change your Life.
Me, gearin up for a 9 to 5 on the first day of tax free weekend in my family oriented home goods & clothing retail chain job: oh worm?

If you are interested in astronomy due to solar eclipse, let us know about an app to install in your phone.
Tumblr media
A cosmological app in the palm of your hand! An exciting event took place in space yesterday - a circular solar eclipse or say 'Ring of Fire' solar eclipses! The spread of the corona virus has disrupted daily life on Earth, but everything in space is moving at a steady pace! Yesterday's solar eclipse was the result of such a fixed, fixed, annual cycle of events!
We all know that the various planets in our universe revolve around the immovable sun, these planets have their own satellites. The earth itself rotates on its axis, tilted slightly, and at the same time revolves around the sun. If we talk only about the earth, due to the orbit of the earth around the sun, the motion of the earth on its own axis and the orbit of the moon around the earth, various exciting astronomical events are created. One of them is this kind of annual annular solar eclipse.
Such a solar eclipse occurs when the Sun, Moon and Earth are in a straight line, all three on almost the same surface (when it comes to the universe we have to think in three dimensions, so the combination of both a line and a surface becomes necessary).
Also, between the sun and the earth, the moon should be at such a distance from the earth that it does not completely cover the sun, but covers it so much that the bright light of the sun is visible around it and a ring is formed!
Such astronomical events lead us to various questions, which we do not pay enough attention to in our daily lives. For example, during the day or especially at night, will there be anything beyond what we see in the sky with the naked eye? If so, what will it be, how will it be? What is the space that astronomers see through a telescope?
We know why it happens day and night on Earth, but does it take 24 hours for the Earth to rotate on its own axis, or does it increase or decrease? Is it 365 days or less for the earth to complete one cycle around the sun? Leap year comes every four years and one day fluctuates in February. What does this have to do with all this? Every day we see the moon getting smaller and bigger, the question of what exactly causes it either does not arise in our minds or does not go deep into it.
In the past, we had to become astronomers to know the answers to such questions, now it is enough to just download one or two apps in a smartphone, there should be a lot of curiosity in the mind. After that, if we cross the barrier of English language, the universe can fit in our palm!
Cosmography in smartphones If you search for 'astronomy' in a smartphone, you will find a number of apps (search for 'astrology' but you will find different types of apps based on astronomy!).
Astronomy - Astronomy based apps give us the opportunity to explore space on the screen of a smartphone. If this type of app is quite large in size then our curiosity starts to waver on this issue. At that stage curiosity is aroused and even if we install the app, then we start moving forward by seeing a number of options on the screen rather than opening it and seeing names that are totally unfamiliar, even difficult to read.
Such apps have a wealth of information but their use is not easy to understand quickly, so we are slow to move forward.
At this stage, if we have a little patience (and courage!), Then we can explore the options of the app, then gradually many secrets of the app and the universe will start unfolding before us!
How these apps work These types of apps often work in two ways: one, all the data available in our universe that is static, unchanging for us, such as stars, clusters, nebulae, galaxies, etc., is collected and then our location, According to the date and time, we are shown the location of all of them in space in the way they appear.
On the other hand, data is also collected about things that are constantly orbiting in space, such as the moon, various planets, their satellites, man-made satellites, etc., and where they will be in space according to their orbit and speed, according to a fixed place and time. By determining that we are shown on the screen.
Let's check out one such app An app called 'SkySafari' has been popular for years among people interested in astronomy. Earlier this app was fully paid but now it is divided into three levels: Basic, Plus and Pro. Due to these three types of levels, this app can be useful to anyone from the most intriguing people in the universe, to curious people like us, to professional astronomers who are deeply involved in this subject. In addition, the benefits that used to be available only to the users of the iOS app in this app are now also available to the users of Android.
When it comes to data from all over the universe, it is obvious that the size of the app is also much larger. The basic, free version of this app will take up 239 MB of space in your smartphone (although now if you have also given various Chinese apps from the phone, there will not be much problem of space in the phone!).
The beauty of 'SkySafari' app is that we can use this app offline after downloading 239 MB of data in the phone for the first time while installing the app.
SkySafari is like a powerful planetarium that allows us to see thousands of stars, planets and other celestial objects on the screen of a smartphone and learn a lot about them. Even the basic free version of SkySafari has enough treasure for us. In this version we can see more than one lakh thirty thousand stars, more than two hundred star clusters, nebula, galaxy, all important planets, satellites etc. The speed of man-made satellites like the International Space Station can also be seen in the app. This app contains a number of articles explaining the basic concepts related to astronomy which are written in a very simple language despite being a confusing topic.
How to re-watch yesterday's solar eclipse in the app? To view significant astronomical events of the current month in the app, click Calendar in the menu below. As such, a list of events for the entire month will appear. Click 'View' in it for June 21, 2020 'New Moon and Annual Solar Eclipse'. So the file of its settings will be downloaded to the phone.
This way we can download different things settings. To activate these settings, on the main screen, go to 'Settings' in the main menu at the bottom. It will show the file of settings you downloaded in 'User Data'. Click on 'Save and restore settings "to activate.
Click the file we downloaded date i.e. June 21-2020. Now 'apply' it. Basically, in order to see that astronomical event, we downloaded the relevant files in the app and also activated it. From here the app can be 'factory reset' and its original settings can be restored.
So now on the screen you will see the position of the solar eclipse at 7.51 minutes as above. Remember, this is a situation seen from somewhere else. In the app in general, after setting our location, the position of the space can be seen accordingly.
Now to see the starting position of the eclipse, move the time to 7.45 by right clicking the left arrow of 'Now' when there is a 'minute' in the time panel Now select 'Seconds' instead of 'Minutes', by clicking the far right arrow, the position of the moon will change according to the seconds and the eclipse will appear exactly at 7.51 minutes!
Understand the main aspects of the app There are a number of options in such apps that can confuse us, but after finding the 'Help' section and understanding the main features and settings of the app, it becomes much easier to use the app. The same is true of the SkySafari app - it will seem difficult at first, then everything will become easier!
There are two main parts to the app. At the bottom there are various tools, according to which the things we have chosen, can be seen in the space at the top. Setting our current time and location in Settings will show the status of that moment. Instead of turning on the compass, you can turn the phone to see where the sun, moon, etc. are at the moment.
It is especially important to understand the main tools of the app. Some tools like 'Cosmos' are paid, but most of them are free. Above the tools is the time panel, which we can change from seconds to years, accordingly, to see the changing position in space. Day and night, seasons, etc. can be understood in this way! More information about each of these can be found in Help.
At the top of the 'Search' tool is a list of various items that may appear in 'Tonight's Best' that day. From here, in addition to the sun and various planets, we can search for the brightest, closest stars, constellations, and meteor showers. Get more information by clicking on the item.
Such as 'Whirlpool Galaxy' in 'Best Deep Sky Objects' will open an article about it. At the bottom of the same page, by clicking on 'Center', you will see its day-time position in space. Rather than zooming in on the screen, an image that looks like this galaxy in a telescope will appear on our screen!
It's really like starting an app with 'Help'! The Intro section contains information about the app while the Basic Concepts section contains almost all the basic information needed to delve deeper into astronomy. If you don't fully understand the cosmology, even if you just check these articles at leisure, you will learn a lot of new things!

Trans Eclipse, but the factory reset version? Like, Eclipse was closeted and trans before factory resetting herself, but with the new blank slate she just jumps straight out as girl?
KC would be very startled to meet his daughter for the first time post-reset when she begins correcting him on her gender. It makes him mourn even more because his oldest child never even got to come out to him. KC would still accept her and love her and would absolutely show her off as his pride and joy daughter and spoils her with pretty dresses and skirts and offers of transition. He’s very proud of her coming out straight away to him and, to him, it feels like a piece of his eldest is still there with him, even if Eclipse is wiped.

Deepseeker (Black Jade Long Fang ***)
This is my first artifact written since Arms of the Chosen released!
As the Niobraran League fell, the Eclipse caste privateer Endless Sight and his Lunar mate Three Leagues Breath began to explore the very bottom of the Western ocean. There they found black jade so pure it took three warstriders to raise the metal up and a ship of pure orichalcum to hold its weight.
The Twilight caste of Endless Sight’s circle became intrigued and chose to work the metal personally, refusing to alloy it despite it’s strange bulk. The weight of it sunk his factory cathedral into the sea, but still he worked it. Ships sunk, islands lowered, and even on land, sinkholes formed where the weapon was hammered until the day it was completed. The sleep harpoon held a legendary heft that could decimate all it struck with the weight of the sea.
Attunement: 5m (See below) Type: Medium (+3 ACC, +12 DMG, 4 Min , +1 DEF) Tags: Lethal, Melee, Thrown (Short), Piercing Hearthstone Slots: 2 Era: Niobraren Era
Evocations of Deepseeker
Deepseeker weighs an extraordinary amount, even when attuned. It costs an additional mote to commit for every point below Str 5 the wielder’s permanent Strength score is. It can not be wielded by anyone with less than Str 3. When thrown, this weight is cripplingly effective, allowing the wielder to make a Smashing attack without the normal defense penalty.
Gulping Dragon Bite
Cost: 2m, 1i; Mins: Essence 1
Type: Simple
Keywords: Resonant
Duration: Instant
Prerequisite: None
Tossing her spear, the mighty weight of the sea bears down on anything struck. The Exalt rolls Perception + Thrown as a feat of demolition, as if Deepseeker were a mundane siege weapon. In Naval Combat, this can be explicitly used as anti-ship weaponry.
Resonant: Deepseeker functions as an artifact siege weapon, becoming capable of Str 15+ feats of demolition.
Emerge from the Depths
Cost: 1m+; Mins: Essence 1
Type: Reflexive
Keywords: None
Duration: Instant
Prerequisite: None
It is only the essence of the wielder that calls Depthseeker back from the bottom of the ocean each time. After throwing Depthseeker, the Exalt may pay 1m plus an additional mote for every 1 that came up in the attack roll to return the Long Fang to her hand reflexively.
Drowning Undertoe Pull
Cost: 3m, 1i; Mins: Essence 1
Type: Supplemental
Keywords: Decisive-Only, Resonant, Stackable.
Duration: Instant
Prerequisite: Emerge from the Depths
Every blow draws from the weight of the sea and every strike increases the weight of those hit. When supplementing a decisive attack with this charm, Deepseeker’s blow puts the weight of the sea onto the person. He takes a -1 mobility penalty to all actions and his evasion. If this penalty ever exceeds their strength, then her opponent immediately falls prone. This penalty cannot exceed their Strength.
Resonant: This charm can supplement a withering attack as well.
All-Consuming Dragon Whirlpool
Cost: 8m; Mins: Essence 2
Type: Simple
Keywords: Withering-only
Duration: Instant
Prerequisite: Drowning Undertoe Pull
Like a whirlpool, the pull of Deepseeker is inescapable. The Exalt throws the spear as normal, but targets an area up to Short distance away. She then rolls an unblockable attack against all enemies within short range of where the weapon landed. Anyone who fails to dodge is pulled one range band closer to the spear and loses initiative as normal. Deepseeker’s wielder only gains the one initiative for each target she hit, the rest is lost in the darkest reaches of the ocean.
Dragon Swallows the Sea
Cost: 5m, 1wp; Mins: Essence 3
Type: Simple
Keywords: Decisive-Only, Dissonant
Duration: One scene
Prerequisite: All Consuming Dragon Whirlpool, Gulping Dragon Bite
Like the pull of trenches that fall endlessly into the Wyld and currents that grab like a hungry dragon’s maw, the pull of the depths is too strong for any to resist. Deepseeker’s wielder makes a decisive attack. As long as the attack does at least (Target’s Strength) in damage, they begin to sink into the ground immobilizing them, reducing their Evasion by -2 and making movement actions impossible. Against a prone enemy, this attack’s damage gains double 10s.
When used at sea, the target instead begins to sink in the water. Regardless of proficiency or magic, they find themselves incapable of swimming upwards without outside assistance.
This charm can also be used to be a Feat of Demolition or a Naval Combat anti-ship weaponry attack. If this roll achieves at least (Difficulty or Manuever successes x 2) - (Strength) successes, then the structure or ship immediately begins to sink, causing potentially devastating damage.
This charm can only be used once per story unless reset by destroying a structure or ship that the wielder has a Major or Defining negative Intimacy towards.
Dissonant: Users dissonant with Jade cannot unlock this evocation.
Riptide Harpoon Technique (Not sure if this should be reversed with the other as a capstone)
Cost: 9m, 1wp; Mins: Essence 3
Type: Reflexive
Keywords: Decisive-Only, Resonant
Duration: Instant
Prerequisite: Dragon Swallows the Sea
Resonant: Users who are not Resonant with Jade cannot unlock this evocation
The sea is an angry mistress. She pulls ships not only down, but into coral reefs, sharp rocks, and even more disastrous dangers of her depths. After the Exalt successfully pulls an enemy with All Consuming Dragon Whirlpool, she may pull all enemies caught in it to short range of her, launching a decisive attack against them all. She rolls a single attack roll against all enemies caught this way and divides her initiative evenly among them, adding their current penalty from Drowning Undertoe Pull (if any) as automatic successes to the damage done. The damage roll doubles 10s against any enemies who were prone or caught in Dragon Swallows the Sea.
