question abt ur au; is it possible for brainwashed clones to like get un-brainwashed (is that even a word?) or do they stay like that?

Hmmm, interesting question!

Brainwashing is actually not something "fantastic", it works like any other type of long-term manipulation... The longer you believe your manipulator, the heavier is the effect on you.

Some clones are not insane only because they saw Scudworth as a more trustworthy person, they were listening to him willingly and were able to avoid total brainwashing by Shadow government. As we know, Scudworth tried his best to help each clone and change their minds about the situation they were in, but it worked only on some of them: the main gang and some secondary characters (and maybe some of yall's fanclones, who knows?). Usually it's easier to change the mind on those clones, who were abused a lil too much (physically or emotionally, doesn't matter). The neglected clones (who didn't get enough attention from the staff) were just chilling and feeling comfortable in their so-called "home". That's why they despise the clones who escaped and call them ungrateful. But it's not the brainwashed clones' fault, they are just not aware enough of what was happening to others.

Well, that's what was happening earlier in the plot... But what about now? Is it possible to change the minds of the brainwashed ones???

The answer is... it depends!

You see, some people have very strong beliefs and just can't change their minds at all, they always stand their ground even if they're objectively wrong. Those people are so hard to "fix", nearly impossible even... I believe clones like this exist and they tend to be more aggressive, insane, violent even. Most of them probably came back to the Shadow tower (reminder: this is where they lived & it's like shadow gov's headquarters) or never left it in the first place. If they are still on the streets, it's probably because they are seeking revenge on the "escapers" or just too afraid to come back (maybe they are afraid of punishment). Honestly, you can try and tell them your honest opinion on this, but there's a chance they will drag you back to the tower or hurt you. And we don't want that, right????

Never lose your hope tho! There are people who can still be saved! As the person who can easily change mind on things just because somebody tells me so... Some clones may have the same mindset. Like, again, if i was a brainwashed to the core, but some random person said to me "ummm actually 🤓☝ they are the bad guys and here's my point..." I'd be like "wait. they're right." and suddenly I want to be on the good guys' side. Ofc it doesn't work immediately, some people are harder to change, you need days or weeks or even months to convince them, but it's possible and worth trying!!

P.S. I was thinking about forcefully changing people's minds, even tho it's pretty unethical, but i guess that works only in one direction (1D REFERENCE??). I'm talking about that "zombiefying soda". Yes, it can kinda make you more brainwashed. But no, right now i didn't come up with anything like this for "un-brainwashing". So the only weapon we have right now is the power of friendship, kindness, empathy and PSYCHOLOGY. And maybe... microchips? brain implants?... we'll see... idk yet...

spock is the messy nepo baby rich kid who is popular (despite hating it), and jim is the military brat nerd with steel dedication and no social life. this makes spock super reserved and jim super outgoing

spock pretends to follow rules but breaks them constantly bc he's got Ambassador is my Dad privilege on the DL and jim pretends to break rules but actually cares SO much about them it hurts bc Starfleet is the closest he'll ever get to knowing his Dad and no matter how much he wants to disobey, he just wants to make him proud

spock has medical trauma and dyslexia, jim has survivor's guilt and likely eating disorder

jim always picks black in chess, spock picks white which surprises them both

spock calls his mom every night, jim wishes he could (rip winona)

spock has zero game because he's so used to being an observed Object of Interest and jim has effortless game because he's so used to having to fight for what he wants - they both feel inadequate bc of it

spock is surprised to see jim's room is devoid of personality as if he might have to leave at any moment. he brings jim a few things. a woven blanket from the artisans his mother patrons. an extra pillow he found. essential oils of vulcan plants in the shower nook. a small peace idol he brought back from the sacred desert caves as a teenager - and tucks it next to jim's bedside lamp.

jim is surprised to see spock's notebooks are messy and overflowing with black marks and scribbles - drawings of butterflies or... birds? winged angels. he thinks maybe this is spock's version of screaming. when he sees a nice notebook - leatherbound, old-fashioned - he leaves it in spock's room as a gift.

they're both fundamentally good people and try very hard

Jikook Week 10 Complete ✔️(13/02 - 20/02/2024)

Their tenth week in the military is now complete. It's time to celebrate this milestone with a look back at this week in 2022.

BTS was on an extended break after their trip to the US in late 2021. Jimin had been out of the hospital for just over a week after his double whammy of appendicitis and COVID. News of BTS and in particular Jimin and Jungkook was in scarce supply but there were some oases in the desert that week

Firstly, the BTS Factbook was released on the 13/02/2023 with Jikook looking dashing in black and white.....

& breathtaking in blue and white. That last Jimin picture is just wow!

On 16/02/22, Big Hit announced that BTS would appear for three nights in Seoul from 10 to 13/03/22 including a live viewing to theatres across the world on 12/03/22. I remember being so excited about this and buying my ticket as soon as they became available. It was my first step towards actually seeing BTS live in concert.

We were right in the middle of Hobiuary. On 18/02/22, JK rang JHope during his Birthday Live. He was just about to jump in the shower so Hoseok didn't share the screen with us.

Oh how things have changed since Chapter 2 began!

Jimin posted on Twitter , "I sincerely wish a happy birthday to my bright brother. Please stay by my side and stay healthy" Jhope reposted on Instagram both his and JK's (Happy Birthday Bro) messages. 3Js always around for each others birthdays.

Hobi's was the first live of the year. It was closely followed by "Belatedly Cracking Bureom" with Jimin, RM and Suga on 20/02/22.

They talked about what they had been up to during their break and their plans for this year. RM mentioned JK's dance lessons. Jimin told us about his vocal lessons.

Jimin had a new perm and people in the comments were comparing him to Yuzuhiko from Atashinchi.

After his bout with illness, Jimin was dead set on getting his physical health and beauty back but RM was there to remind him that he is already the beauty standard for many around the world and that his likeness has inspired a plethora of professional and amateur artists.

They told us they were just about to start preparing for the PTD in Seoul concerts, as soon as V was let out of quarantine after his COVID, and asked us to look forward to it. The wheels were beginning to turn on a new year that would bring the fandom some major surprises and see the start of Chapter 2 and their amazing solo explorations.

Feel like you want to do "something" for your F/O? But you feel insecure about your ability to write or draw?

Then I recommend factbooking!

Factbooking, which is just a funky term I came up with, essentially is just collecting canon information about your F/Os! By collecting as much canon information as possible, you can feel as if you're doing that "something" for your fictional lover, and you can do it as cute as you want!

Make a pretty, aesthetic carrd or rentry, and fill it with links or beautiful images/gifs! Buy a pretty notebook and some stickers that reminds you of/is of your F/O, and handwrite the information!

Use bullet points! Links to playlists! Colored ink! Anything you want!

Even add a section for your own headcanons if you wish to!

Add their likes and dislikes, their height and weight, family situation, birthday, zodiac, blood type, themes and symbolism, anything that canon has to offer you about them!

If you're someone who's a bit of a stickler about canon, this can help you keep up on knowing everything about your F/O as canon as possible and be good reference! If you're someone who likes to diverge, this can be a good reference for what to bend to your whims!

You don't need to be "good" or "bad" at anything to factbook! Just having the dedication to collect as much canon information as possible is just like writing a beloved fanfic or creating beautiful art!

While it isn't for everyone, I definitely recommend factbooking. It can make you feel like you're really understanding your F/O on a deeper level, and you may realize some things you never noticed about your F/O before.

In fact, to demonstrate just how utterly ludicrous Amnesty's accusation of genocide is, one only needs to see that, according to the CIA World Factbook, the population in Gaza has actually increased 2 percent in the last year. This is the very opposite of seeking to destroy, in whole or in part or in any way, a group of people.

Perhaps knowing it doesn't have a legal leg to stand on, Amnesty has resorted to manufacturing its own definition of genocide. Amnesty claims that the universally established and the sole accepted legal definition as outlined in the Genocide Convention of 1948 which requires the existence of intent is an "overly cramped interpretation of international jurisprudence and one that would effectively preclude a finding of genocide in the context of an armed conflict."

It's not just Israel that finds this redefinition ridiculous. In an absolutely scathing rebuke, even Amnesty's own Israel office has totally rejected Amnesty International's report, saying it was a "predetermined conclusion" based on "biased" and "artificial" analysis of the situation in Gaza and "motivated by a desire to support a popular narrative among Amnesty International's target audience."

If anyone is guilty of genocide here, it is Hamas. Not only does Hamas openly state that the destruction of Israel is its ultimate goal, as evidenced in their Charter, it acted out on those intentions on October 7, when Hamas massacred over 1,200 Israelis in a rampage that included raping, burning, mutilating, executing and abducting women and children. We've stood in the kibbutzim and communities in the south of Israel and saw first-hand the death and destruction. That is where the real attempted genocide occurred.

In an interview last year, shortly after the massacre, senior Hamas official Ghazi Hamad admitted that the terror group would repeat the October 7 massacre "again and again" until Israel was "annihilated," openly admitting the group's genocidal intentions. But Amnesty has completely disregarded this, instead absolving and whitewashing the heinous actions of Hamas.

The Yorùbá community is a prominent Niger-Congo ethnic nationality inhabiting southwestern and north-central Nigeria, as well as southern and central Benin. Collectively, these territories are referred to as Yorubaland. The Yoruba population totals approximately 44 million individuals.

The majority of this demographic resides in Nigeria, where the Yorùbá account for 21% of the nation's population, according to the CIA World Factbook, rendering them one of Africa's most extensive ethnic nationalities. Most Yoruba individuals communicate in the Yoruba language, which features tonal characteristics and holds the distinction of being the Niger-Congo language with the most native speakers.

The Yorùbá share territorial boundaries with the closely affiliated Itsekiri to the southeast in the North West Niger delta, the Bariba to the northwest in Benin, the Nupe to the north, and the Ebira to the northeast in central Nigeria. To the east lie the Edo, Ẹsan, and Afemai groups in mid-western Nigeria. Adjacent to the Ebira and Edo groups are the related Igala people situated in the northeast, on the left bank of the Niger River. To the southwest are the Gbe-speaking Mahi, Egun, Fon, and Ewe, who border Yoruba communities in Benin and Togo.
