Tell me about your young justice skulduggery pleasant au!

ok so basically it's the skulduggery pleasant world but like with dc characters, so it's not following the events of books just the lore and universe of it, though the war did happen, and theres still like the sanctuary and council of elders and faceless ones, ancients, etc. its just adapted for my wants because this is my au.

the justice league were all present for the war and they all fought in it and stuff, they're all like super powerful and stuff

the council of elders is comprised of Wonder Woman, Superman, and Batman

idk who the grand mage is quite yet

for like specifically young justice stuff I've only really figured out their like magic and a bit of their backstory

Tim like saw Batman and Dick doing magic and stuff and then kind of stalked them before jumping into battle to help Batman one time, and has been working for him since

Tim and like the entire bat family are all elementals

Bart kinda grew up with this magic stuff because it runs in the family and stuff

he's an adept and his ability obviously is speed

Cassie also like forced herself into magic like Tim did, but shes more connected with her civilian life than he is

she's also an adept, which gives her her like wonder powers and shit

Kon I don't quite know his full back story but I'm thinking a sort of magic clone of Superman or something

he's an adept and has his TTK

he definitely lords the fact that hes an adept and isnt just "element stuff" over Tim

his whole no aging thing also works because using magic rejuvenates the body and slows the aging

Cissie was trained into this by her mom so she never had the chance to live a normal life without magic

she's an adept because of her mother

Greta is a Skulduggery situation, except she's a ghost instead

she's an elemental

secret identity stuff is gonna be like super (heh) interesting with the whole three name stuff. their given name is their secret identity name, the ones they got at birth (though for superboy, he was given the name Kon by Supes so that's his given name) and their chosen name is something along the lines of or their hero name, though I'll probably change them to fit the naming scheme in the books, especially with legacy characters.

also I'm moving the sanctuary and book of names and all the artifacts to america instead of Ireland because that's where yj is set

Do you think the postponement of the trailer means the postponement of the show? so instead of taking the Saturday slot, it'll take the Friday one?

i genuinely don't know what to think anymore, but GMMTV deciding AT THE VERY LAST SECOND to give last twilight the friday slot instead of the saturday one is probably the only thing that would actually make sense

it doesn't make the situation any better, but at least it's a reasonable explanation. sort of. the timeline also fits: dangerous romance ends next friday, so they would need a trailer to play after it. in this case last twilight would start on nov 10 or, if we get a special episode, on nov 17. at this point i kinda wonder if tomorrow we're gonna get the cherry magic trailer instead tho. i mean they don't necessarily have to put a trailer after the last episode of only friends, but it would be weird if they didn't, especially considering all the shows they still have to air. then again, no promotion whatsoever for a taynew show directed by p'x would be even weirder, but also it could potentially make some people forget the last twilight 'incident'
