As someone who's already rewatched Rings of Power twice and is currently desperate for content for a fandom based on something nearly a hundred years old, how would you recommend getting into the Silmarillion operas?

I'm hardly the expert on the Russian rock operas. I only got into the them because of a stream of the Lay of Leithian rock opera hosted by @sewn-with-lilies-fair. Unfortunately, I do not speak Russian and won't be much help with purchasing the streams. That being said, there is still a lot of content available on youtube, and some of it even has English subtitles. The 2014 recording of Finrod-Zong (Finrod's Song) has subtitles and is available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_4kFQaTDJAk&t=19s Another person who is incredibly useful to know is @emeraldskulblaka, and she has put all of the freely available clips of both Finrod-Zong and the Lay of Leithian rock operas into very convenient playlists. Those playlists can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_moWysGi7ZIdbXdvPwErOw There are also several Czech musicals created by a Czech Tolkien community theater group for an annual Tolkiencon, though I believe only one (Fëanor a jeho synové, aka Fëanor and His Sons) has subtitles right now (there is currently an effort to change this and subtitle the others, but it may be a while). Ok so here it is. Please give opinions because I don't know where I'm going with this.

This whole thing is based on Mandosova Sudba in Fëanor a jeho synové, where the tune of Fëanor and Nerdanel's separation, is the same tune for The Doom of Mandos. In addition, in Mandosova Sudba, Fëanor forgets a line, and Nerdanel prompts him. This has been giving me brain worms for over a year now.
