Oh my god i love this post so much. I LOVE THIS ASPECT OF HINDUISM.
Today I was talking to this girl, and she started asking me about diwali and stuff and then the conversation shifted to Hinduism and I was telling her the different stories that it has. Then she asked "why did the gods give blessings to the wrong person" and that's a completely logical question, so I started looking for an answer, and here's the thing, the bad people worked hard for that boon, they meditated for years and years, followed the rules and they got rewarded for it, because they deserved to get rewarded for their hard work, despite the god being aware of the things they would do with that. But honestly, that's what I really like about hinduism, gods are not perfect, they make mistakes ALL THE TIME, but then they find creative solutions to that problem. And isn't that what life is, making mistakes and then being able to solve them? That's how you grow, that's how you learn. Also, you can't be kind all the time, even lord Krishna had to be cunning, manipulative and cruel in Mahabharata, and he also got punished in the end. The war was necessary but that doesn't mean that it was all sunshine and rainbows. I'm Just so fascinated by hinduism, cuz Mahabharata is literally about the fact that, sometimes you have to take the difficult path to protect yourself, you can't always be the kind and sweet one. That difficult path is going to be painful, but it's NECESSARY. Understanding hinduism is so beautiful, and that's why I don't like Hindus who follow all the rules but they don't know WHY they're following those rules. Hinduism was never about blind faith, it was always about doing what's necessary and good for YOU and the sad reality is that a lot of Hindus don't seem to realise this.
........we strayed away from the point but what I wanted to say was, I'm a proud Hindu, and i think that my religion is very beautiful once you actually UNDERSTAND it by reading actual vedic texts and not watching videos of stupid youtubers who want to spread their own disgusting propaganda.

And just thier culture
if what the Taliban is doing to women was happening instead to a minority racial group, especially if the oppressors were white, i’m just saying, there would be A LOT more outrage.
there would be encampments, huge protests, everything you see with palestine but probably a hundred times more extreme. We’d be listing the stage of genocide this is, and calling it a second holocaust.
I mean IMAGINE a certain racial group’s voice is made illegal in public, and they have to wear a HUGE, ridiculous, uncomfortable garment like that. They aren’t allowed to leave the house without an (oppressor) escort. Banned from education or employment. No protections from violence and rape, basically less than an animal in law. IMAGINE IF ALL THAT HAPPENED TO A MINORITY RACIAL GROUP. this IS what’s happening to women.
But it’s just women and it’s just their culture so there’s nothing we can really do, who cares. Maybe we’ll do a march or two, and maybe we’ll post about it on twitter, make a few articles. But it’s just women.

Productivity Worklog Pt. 1
I took today's classes and followed the routine pretty well, except that I couldn't practice dance or have a workout, I was out with a friend and took longer than expected. I was inspired by this post to have an honest studyblr. Though I really like my pinterest decorated posts, I'm gonna continue them whenever I get a chance, but i'll definitely try to share my honest worklog, also because I like to flex. 😂
In English literature, to remember the dates, I created a whole list of years and added the names and works of the authors I've read till now in short form. And because I didn't have space, I clarified who and what it was on the sticky note. Hopefully, this will work well in long term.
I also watched a few recorded lectures our teacher sent on Dystopian literature. The Last Man had an influence on me that I ended up writing a poem on it.
For Inorganic Chemistry, I revised the first lecture notes of Salt Analysis and I formed this short sticky note on the General Rules of Solubility, I'm very confused in this so i'll have to revise it again and again but it's good to have something in a concise manner.
This is basically just the mess of my books.
So, here's an introduction to my study tables, since I don't have ang space to set up my table and chair to sit on, I take my bed table and use it for studying. And my study table is experiencing the wrath of my laziness, unfortunately.
