hi clio !! what are some of ur fav things abt each member of the rest of ur light party ? (i hope its ok to ask abt them too!!)

Clio: “Hi again! Yeah, of course it’s okay, I love talking about the others!! "My light party", huh? I guess that makes sense as a thing to call us, if I'm the Warrior of Light and whatnot. I quite like it! Haha~

Right then, I'll start with Brynblyss, because he's who I've known for longest out of the four of us. We've been friends since I first set out to become an adventurer, really, and.. having someone like him every step of the way has truly made this journey so special. You can talk to Bryn about anything, and while he might not have an answer for everything, he'll still do whatever he can to give you space to chat in, and support you. He's come such a long way since we started, and become so much more confident in himself and his skills - but even so, he's still just as kind and supportive as he was at the start, too. I really admire how calm and level-headed he’s able to be - he might sometimes get anxious, but he doesn’t really panic in the same way I tend to, so he’s always able to help me keep my feet on the ground. I’m also really proud of the way he's been able to stay true to himself, and find the best way of being like that, rather than thinking he has to change who he is - 'cause he doesn't! And I'm glad that he doesn't! All in all, I'm proud to call him my best friend.

Then there's Azami - or, well, you might know her as Tsutsuji. Now, if my favourite thing about Bryn is how he stays on an even keel so well, my favourite thing about Az is how she doesn't. She’s always got the most random comments to give or plans to suggest, and her being so spontaneous is itself something you can expect from her - and it makes every moment so interesting when she’s with you! Even after.. what happened on the First, she’s still kept that peppy personality and chaos, even when her energy is lacking. She doesn’t let herself be held back by what others might do or expect of her, and she can really be her own person for it. When she’s around and we're talking, I’ll always end up with a smile on my face at some point - even if it’s a strained one!

And.. then we've got Lorenza. It's tricky to pick for her, really, 'cause she's so.. unique of a person. Although, you could maybe say that's itself my favourite thing about her. Even in spite of everything she's gone through, and- everything that she is, even, what with her being a voidsent (and a princess!) - she still does care about people and also our world. She might not show it in the same way, and.. it took me a bit to realise the ways she does show things, but.. when you know enough about her, you get to pick up on all the little ways she changes. And I know she doesn't show that very much, so.. the fact that she's expressed how much she cares about me, to me, is something I really treasure. So, yeah, I'd say my favourite thing about her is how she's unique - because that encompasses all sorts of things. Is that cheating?

🎼: Ah, Prelude to Love!!!! That’s my favorite drink! It’s made from pink melons and strawberries, and has a very strong sweet and sour taste to it. I suppose Cos thought the name was fitting for me too? And I wouldn’t be able to think of a better option myself! <3

🍂: …well, okay. ruby rings. i asked him once what his favorite gemstone was and he said rubies. they were for, uhh… rings. that i was making for us. to represent our bond, or whatever. makes for a nice phrase, ‘n it’s got the alliteration thing goin’ on… (later he told me he doesn’t actually have any preference, ‘n that he just said rubies because they remind him of me. …TYPICAL cos behavior.)

📸: song from a band he introduced me to!! said the instruments sounded like me, or something? he’s shown me a lot of songs; my playlist’s gotten way bigger since meeting him, haha. he says the music in this album reminds him most of me, butttt i don’t think any of them’d work better!

"Mm... as any couple would I suppose. Hugs, kisses, holding hands when we're out together. We write each other letters a lot, especially while she's away from Aaru Village. Sometimes, those letters will contain little gifts for the other, or she'll bring things from Sumeru City along with her when she returns. One of my favorites has to be getting to cuddle with her during times when I don't have to keep watch. It's... easier to relax when I'm with her."

HAPPY BIRTH MONTH TO ME!!

In celebration of now 5 years of self shipping and growth on this blog, I'll be hosting an F/O Takeover for the entire month of February!

Starting today the Blog shall be run by The Ideal Polycule;

One top of that I'll be making all sorts of art (if I can) specifically for these three and our life together! Did you know the ideal polycule world has lore and story? Not much but some, and I'll be doing my best to share that throughout the month.

what’s the weirdest petname Aria has ever called you? what’s the weirdest petname you’ve ever called her? - "Weirdest? Hmm.. Oh! There was one time on a mission when she stumbled in the middle of saying “darling”, so it instead came out as “darkling”, which- even if she hadn’t been in the middle of falling over, I think would’ve made us both stop and be confused! From what she’s told me of what Darklings are, she’s the one who’s closer to them anyway, so it really wouldn’t fit me at all..! We laughed about that a lot together, hehe. Then, for the other way around, uh.. I didn’t think it was that weird, but I used the phrase “oh, you’re a star” once about her when she did something, and- she just looked at me like it made no sense to her for a moment. Or that it was wrong to say for some reason. I know that stars are worlds and not people, but even then, it stood out a lot at the time.. I wonder.. Could it have had something to do with Lina?”

how easy is it for you to get her to laugh? - "Well.. that depends on the type of laugh, I would say. She’ll often use a little one to react to something or lead in to what she’s saying, especially if she has her mask on. But it’s rare for her to really burst out laughing - it’s only really when we’re talking together that I’ve heard her do it, especially about something funny rather than when she's taking down a villain. She’s just not really the type of person to be so.. overzealous? With her emotions. But they are in there, somewhere!”

who folds the laundry and who unloads the dishwasher? - "Oh, we do those things together! To use your examples, I fold the clothes once they’re out of the dryer, but then I pile them up next to me so that Aria can put them all away as I’m folding them. Then, I’m the one who takes things out of the dishwasher because sometimes they drip, but then I just put them on a towel on the countertop next to me, so she goes back and forth between that and wherever things live. I don’t mind doing that kind of thing all by myself, but Aria finds it more of a chore, so.. whenever I realise things need doing, she makes an effort to help me out “to make up for that”, in her own words.”

what’s your second favourite memory of Aria? - "My second-favourite instead of my favourite.. Hmm.. I think that would have to be her bequeathing. You see, after Aria was able to move into her Replica body, she wasn't sure whether she'd still be able to wield a Keyblade. It was.. also rather broken by that point in time, anyway. So, instead, we realised I could hold a bequeathing ceremony for her, since I'm a Keyblade Master and she also never went through one back in the past. I said the words a little differently to how they're meant to go, but that part didn't matter - making it something special to the both of us, and seeing the apprehension on her face turn into pride as she called forth a brand-new Keyblade that was truly hers.. It was really so special."

what’s Aria’s pet peeve and does it apply to you? - "Oh, uh, she has quite a few of them, to be honest. She has a lot less patience with people than I do, for instance.. And she also gets more annoyed by sounds, even if there are some I find annoying too. I think the main pet peeve I can think of for her, though, would be when people put themselves in charge without having earned their position properly. Aria is not the type of person to automatically listen to someone just because they have a certain role or title - they need to have demonstrated that they actually know what they're talking about, otherwise she won't take demands from them at all. She said it used to get her in trouble with her party leader back in the age of fairytales.. but, whether because there aren't those kinds of authority figures around us as much now or what, it at least isn't something that comes up too much!

The Curator's love language is definitely services and words of affirmations and praise. He loves making me tea, food, and playing the piano with me; alongside whispering sweet nothings to me.

Vitae's would most definitely be gift giving. They have blessed my desk with various origami animals with small love notes attached to them. They've also have given me several different trinkets over the years from their travels, one being my pocket watch.
