A Persian Miniature-esq styled art of Death and Puss’ final battle on the wishing star. This took me a long time to finish but it was a blast to paint!! Both Puss and Death ended up looking more 3D than what is typical of the very flat and 2D styles of Persian Miniature art, but I feel I managed to capture the energy and ‘flow’ of them well enough!

I adore the use of fairy tales and folklores in the Shrek universe and so I thought the idea of using the Persian Miniature style would have fit along with it, as these artworks were often used for book covers and illustrations. I’ve also wanted to create art with more influence from my culture and background, so I thought it’d be a perfect fit!

This was digitally painted with Krita, did I manage to make it look ‘traditional’ and painterly enough despite the digital medium?

OHHHHH definitely my Main Story 12 missing scene fic with marius and luke, "fail-safe"

personally i didnt feel very satisfied with how i executed the fic, but like, i posted it anyway because i needed the fic Out Of My House. and i wa surprised by the comments i got!!! it made me really happy to see that people liked my take on the missing scene, especially this comment that called it the Best Main Story 12 missing scene fic they read

18. The character that gave you the most trouble writing this year?

ohhhhhh i primarily wrote mariluke fics this year, so i basically just ping pong'd between writing marius or luke, but marius is definitely more challenging for me to write, between the two of them. especially in the fic i mentioned earlier, "fail-safe"

it was challenging for me to figure out what would be going on in marius' head, in that situation....

Season One Ep 19 is perfect for displaying the type of relationship Violetta has to her love interests, let me explain. Gifs included!

Leon and Vilu are out at the Resto Bar and Leon arranges for Violetta to sing to everyone and overcome her fears. This shows how supportive Leon is and honestly, Leon is there for so many firsts its insane. But Vilu is singing her little heart out and it’s incredible. Also look at the love in Leon’s eyesssss.
