What about Extraordinary Abilities?

You know that there are people who have extraordinary abilities. By this, I mean things most average everyday people can do. Natural Telekinesis, Pyrokinesis, extreme Clairvoyance, the ability to put thoughts in the minds of others, the ability to affect sensitive electrical equipment like computers, televisions and more. These gifts can also result from power meditations.

I happen to know someone in the community with great skills who’s able to absorb extreme heat like super hot shower, get burned but barely feel the pain, handle hot food and can also barely taste any hot spices. While another one, also around here, has ES (Electrosensitivity). Intolerance to Electro-magnetic radiation like cellphones, wifi, bluetooth, power lines etc… Last week she went to Costco for some shopping and not more than 10 minutes after being inside she blackout and her nose was bleeding. The radiation was to high for her due to the electromagnetic fields.

If you think that you have these kind of abilities, keep them to yourself. The World powers Agencies have programs where they use people with these abilities. You can be a public serious threat to the Power Agencies because they can loose control over you. Gifted people are able to sense others with the same abilities; you know what I am saying. People with the same ability then you, can also sense that you’re one. You are now aware of each other.

This is because you both have an open energy field. You must program your aura (which is usually very large) to go about undetected if you wish to maintain your privacy. You can also program your aura not to affect electrical equipment unless you intend it to do so.  The same goes for thoughts reading. You program your aura so others cannot pick up on your thoughts. Of course, one with a much stronger energy field can overpower someone who is weaker.

The World Powers Agencies “to not named any” have programs where they employ Psychics. These people do not have freedom. They are used and many times ‘redrum’ when they no longer serve a useful purpose to their employers. For those of you with exceptional abilities “you know who you are” I strongly encourage you to dedicate your abilities to your guardian Spirit in a ritual to protect you and guide you. This can be a lonely road as others freak are shocked and/or become frightened.

Remember this; when others know your secrets, they have power over you. So keep your secrets and you’ll never have to worry about. Don’t ever brag or show off. You can come to the attention of the wrong people.

one of the things that continues to strike me on reread is how much the character of Darcy, and Austen through him, finds Mr. Bennet dead. And how much Elizabeth, in growing and changing and discarding her past blindness, has to move past her way of seeing her father and thus of seeing reality, because the two are connected! Darcy’s letter exposes her father’s flaws to Elizabeth in a way she’d never been able to see before. Most especially the way his laziness and neglect of his own gifts have hurt his family and that ultimately he doesn’t. care. Not enough to change. It literally says that she comes home from Hunsford and tries to laugh at her sisters’ and mother’s folly (the way she used to; the way her father has taught her to by example for her whole life) and she can’t anymore! It sticks in her throat. She is grieved by the failures that she sees in him, all the more so because she IS his favorite and she loves him! And the thing about Mr. Bennet is he never changes. The Lydia/wickham situation exposes to him sharply his own conduct and the consequences and he feels it! Because he is neither stupid nor unfeeling. But he, like everyone, has free will. And he chooses not to change when the opportunity presents itself. He even jokes about how quickly his feeling bad will pass and how soon everything will go back to normal, to his laziness and his selfishness. He is set in his ways and he serves as a contrast to Elizabeth’s personal journey because he embodies a version of a person she could have become and was in danger of becoming if her only goal at all times was to laugh at and judge people from the sidelines.

A HSR AU idea

Caelus and Stelle are a demon and human pair of siblings, both are very unique in their own way. Stelle is a demon that doesn't need to eat humans to survive and Caelus is a human that eats demons to gain their powers. The two have decided to join the Trailblazers, a group of stand alone demon investigators and sometimes hunters when things get serious.

March 7th: Another member of the Trailblazers that is looking for a demon who has all her memories, or so she thinks.

Dan Heng: A demon hiding as a human and choosing to make his living as one, but so far he still needs to drink blood every now and then. He doesn't remember much from his past life but he gets glimpses every now and then.

Himeko: A human investigator who looks around for more demons regarding their origin. She didn't have teaching in mind when she came to this field of study but so far her four students have learned many things from her.

Welt Yang: One of the so-called ‘Reformist demons’ who, unlike normal demons, completely rejects eating any kind of human tissue and blood. So far he has survived by eating animal flesh that has a lot of proteins related to that of human flesh.

Pom-Pom: Vengeful spirits come in many forms, and one of them is Pom-Pom. Although the only thing Pom-Pom seems vengeful about is cleaning everyone's mess after a fight.

I think one of the things i appreciate most about my line of work now is how much of it is just tactile? customer came in with a locket that needed tightening and as i grabbed my pliers and went at it we started talking and she goes well you must have great eyesight for this and actually, i don't. sure you look at the basic like where to put your pliers but your fingertips are much more precise than your eyes and you find the right tension for the lock by feel and by sound. it requires less than you think, other than practice.

I want someone who's freckles glow when their ability/quirk activates!

I want Atsushi to have better night vision and got his pupils to blow wide when he looks at someone he likes!

I want someone who's hair grows a little everytime they use their ability/quirk when their ability/quirk doesn't relate to that!

I want Kirishima or Tesutetsu to become rock/metal when they flinch after someone jump scares them in the dorms!

Give me mundane side affects!
