In 1906, Modigliani decided to move to Paris, the art capital of the time. The city was full of renowned artists and was the epicentre of the artistic avant-garde. This change was fundamental in Modigliani's career, as it brought him into contact with artists such as Pablo Picasso and Constantin Brâncuşi, who would influence his artistic style.

In Paris Modigliani immersed himself in the bohemian atmosphere and joined artistic and literary circles. It was at this stage that he began to stand out for his portraits and nudes, characterised by the elongation of the faces and figures. This distortion of forms allowed him to explore expression and emotion in his works, creating a unique and recognisable style.

En 1906, Modigliani decidió trasladarse a París, la capital del arte en ese momento. La ciudad estaba llena de artistas de renombre y era el epicentro de la vanguardia artística. Este cambio fue fundamental en la carrera de Modigliani, ya que le permitió entrar en contacto con artistas como Pablo Picasso y Constantin Brâncuşi, quienes influirían en su estilo artístico.

En París, Modigliani se sumergió en el ambiente bohemio y se unió a círculos artísticos y literarios. Fue en esta etapa cuando comenzó a destacarse por sus retratos y desnudos, caracterizados por el alargamiento de los rostros y las figuras. Esta distorsión de las formas le permitía explorar la expresión y la emoción en sus obras, creando un estilo único y reconocible.

A Parigi Modigliani si immerge nell'atmosfera bohémien ed entra a far parte di circoli artistici e letterari. È in questa fase che inizia a distinguersi per i suoi ritratti e nudi, caratterizzati dall'allungamento dei volti e delle figure. Questa distorsione delle forme gli permette di esplorare l'espressione e l'emozione nelle sue opere, creando uno stile unico e riconoscibile.

It's weird how only men think that feeding someone is a kind of sexual services contract or a debt that someone has with them to secure a sentimental relationship.
