What's this? A rare wednesday surprise adopt! I've been unusually productive this week and I have a lot of inspiration I want to get to before it fizzles out, so here's an extra adopt this week!

I saw a tweet like two days ago about a black man being casted in a Japanese stage play for an anime and someone said that they gave his locs look like a bishie boy haircut, and I thought that was really cute so I wanted to make something based on that- so here's a very princely, bishonen young man, complete with a rose and bishie sparkles! sidenote: one of these days I'll successfully make a trickster design that doesn't have the color pink... but that day is not today.

NEVERMIND i think i'm just dumb. i needed to delete the stylus extension because it was messing with the tampermonkey one and causing this issue

okay i like the dashboardunfucker tampermonkey script a lot better than the stylus one i was using. my only complaint is the weirdly large amount of space on the top banner?? i don't like how it eats into the space on my screen and limits how much of posts i can see while just having empty space. websites with banners (or whatever it's called) at the top of the page that take up unnecessary space on my page is one of my biggest pet peeves lol

i don't want to get rid of the search bar or the icons, just shorten the empty space up there?

but i don't know html so idk how to do that :sob: someone help pls

i think part of the reason iv e been so hesitant abt getting a cane also is bc subconsciously i know its probably not enough support as id need and if theres one thing i hate more than spending money on necessities its having to do it twice because i fucked up the first time. BUt also anything more likr, cant think of the word, supportive? than cane would be more exensive and cause people to Look at me even more. andinconvenient also. but also everything hurts so much and im so exhausted andi want to be able to do more things for longer without feeling like this

So this guy, Wingnut, is an robot made from technology that was stolen from Violet's biology.

While the robots as a whole have a set of lore, what makes Wingnut special is he is one of the few robots who ended up gaining sentience.

While he started off life as a goofball that loved life, as he gained more knowledge of VIPER and how he was born, he began to question if his existence was an abomination if it came at the cost of a human being undergoing exensive experimentation.

He and Violet had a very complicated relationship and I don't think I ever resolved it

Something about him too is that he does have Gadget powers.

Because his tech was borrowed from Violet, he has a good chunk of her Gadgets in him

Did you know that da Vincis vitruvian man is very interesting because its not just a study of the human body but also a representation of the ratiosystem which defined renessaince architecture. The idea at the time was that buildings should adhere to the human bodies ratio while following the style of antique/ classsicistic architecture. The bigman of architecture at the time was Andrea Palladio who studied roman architecture exensively and wrote books on the matter as well.

well that is quite interesting, a realm of knowledge that is completely foreign to me. funny how that picture is known by so so many people yet have no idea why it exists.

Ik you asked for Felix himself but his lore tangles with another oc of mine, Kaiden, so you get a lil bit of her lore too ✨

Felix BonaDea was a nobleman from the house of BonaDea, known for their healing magic. His mother, Gianna BonaDea, was human, and his other mother, Amaryllis, was a fairy. Now, for most of Nialon (the country this all takes place in), it's quite normal for humans and non-humans to make bebehs (lmao), but this rule does not apply to nobility. He did get everything he could want, including gender surgery (bc its MY WORLD and i say TRANS RIGHTS), as Gianna (and her husband Antonio) was not heartless. She also allowed Amaryllis a small secluded estate for her to live in. Despite this, Felix was shunned in life, and had no chance at being anything of utmost importance to... anyone, really. Or so he thought.

One day, he was walking through town (glamoured with a trick Amaryllis taught him), and stopped by a tavern popular for guards and guards-in-training. He met someone there who would make him feel less lonely, and that person was Kaiden Evania (WOOP WOOP *sitcom applause*), another alienated child shunned because of her curse. They got to chatting, and clicked immediately, pulling a prank on some bullies (>:3). Once Felix heard she was forced to be here in the capital, Vespar, because of the draft, he resolved to learn how to fight, so that she wouldn't feel lonely, as he always had. (His family let him btw they thought it’s good he’s doing smth with his life)(Amarillys did NOT agree but Felix convinced her to let him go)

The years went by, and despite Felix's nobility, he and Kaiden made an unstoppable team. They had succeeded in 'The Hunt', an annual challenge hosted by a different noble House every year. Afterward, both attended the Aquamarine Ball, which was an event where graduating guards would learn of their placement, be in the city, or a House, or the outskirts of town. While at the Ball, Felix and Kaiden were approached by Lloyd Santhuff, the leader of the Azari—a warrior unit that only take the best of the best. Lloyd was interested in the pair, and offered the both of them a place there. They accepted, and after a couple more years of training, were full-fledged Azari. They were put under the (relatively loose) command of Saffron, another fairy.

They took the Oath, which bound their souls together and let them think as if they were mere exensions of each other, but Felix thought it was bullshit and just for show. The pair (mostly Felix, to be fair) made close friends with their unit, and all was well.

They were good. The best, even. But then on one mission investigating the Nikasa, Felix and Kaiden were captured. After a few weeks of torture, Felix was brutally murdered and Kaiden rescued.

That should have been the end, right? Wrong. Felix now lives in Kaiden's brain, as the oath they had taken worked a little too well considering Kaiden's Deathless curse and Felix's enhanced half-fairy magic. He tries his best to help Kaiden through her grief, but it's a hard battle.

Guys they have more than enough resources and skills to make a good lube in medieval level technology settings. If your character has any medical knowledge then they can whip some up themselves. If the setting normalizes gay sex I bet it wouldn't be hard to find

Like it literally doesn't matter bc it's fiction but I've tried a lot of stuff and oil is BAD lube. It's so bad. You can't go fast there's just way too much fucking friction. It also was historically exensive. Fat will be a more accessible and significantly better choice. I've tried crisco but that's a more modern invention so they'd probably reach for lard. Which is very refined and not likely to spoil. People of the past were less squeamish about this and used animal fat in body care a ton. For historical vegatable fat I find coconut fat (usually called oil but it being solid at room temperature absolutely makes it function more like a fat here) actually works pretty well, your characters just have to be in an area it's accessible or rich enough to import it.

In a pinch ointment is also a better option than oil, or a fat based lotion that takes a while to sink into the skin.

Basically anything is better than oil. Oil is fine in fiction, but I find the subtle world building and the not having to suspend my disbelief about it actually being an easy fuck quite fun and hot
