Hello! I was wondering if you had ever considered making a dumbwaiter (not functional, obviously, as ea hasn't made anything to base it off of) for wealthy family's dining rooms and kitchens. Where I live, many old houses had kitchens in the basement so they're pretty common in wealthy houses but I don't know if they were common in Hungary at all?

Hey! Dumbwaiters are super interesting, but I've never actually seen any of them here. Ppl tend to live in one story buildings, and it wasn't really a thing for the upper classes either. Maybe there are a few examples in old palaces and mansions, but it isn't really a part of our cultute.

Sziaa! Ah yes, I've always wanted to spread more Hungarian propaganda by making Zsolnay and Herendi porcelain items. 😂

We have them at home, and they're pretty, but I'm actually more interested in those monumental pieces that we can see on the Olof Palme house at Városliget, or even the Saint Stephan bust & fireplace in the St. Stephan hall in the Buda Castle.

I've actually made Zsolnay ceramic roof tiles that we can see on the top of many buildings in Hungary, including the Matthias Church, and the Museum of Iparművészet (whatever it's called). You can see them here.

Malanka 🎇❄

A Ukrainian folk and church holiday, the evening before New Year's Eve. On the holiday of Malanka, young people (with or without masks) spend the whole night singing shchedrivkas, walking with a "goat", and leading a young man dressed as Malanka.

The Slavic myth of Malanka is similar to the myth of Hades and Persephone. While her brother Moon was hunting, the eldest son of the protogod Ad-Gad kidnapped Malanka (the daughter of the earth goddess Lada), which prevented the rebirth of spring. The knight Bezsylchik-Vasylchyk freed her from the underworld and married her. Thus, the celebration of Malanka symbolized spring, which had broken free from captivity.

💛 MY SIMBLR RESOLUTIONS FOR 2025 ✨

🛋️📺 Release at least one retro/vintage set based on 70's eastern european social realistic nostalgia. Grey panel housing blocks, ugly orange glass doors, brutalistic steel and concrete monstrums, metal playgrounds, colorful plastic tablecloths and red dotted vintage coffe cups.

🛠️⚙️ Make an ovrehaul on some of my earlier sets, including the Classicist Set, the Coffehouse, Storefronts and the Templom set.

🍶🫙 Make more clutter, cause I've improbed my blender skills a lot during the past year, and I'm ready to make a big step foward.

I just wanna say thank you for both the Channukia and the Menorah! They are gonna be perfect for many of my historical builds and I am very happy to have something that looks a lot like my own Channukia. And the 7 branch menorah is a life saver! I don't think we have any really kosher 7 branch menorah cc, this will be perfect for my synagogue build! Thank you!!!! <3
