⋆。°✩LOVE LETTER ✩°。⋆
highschoolers au bakugou x fem!reader
synopsis: when grabbing your school supplies from your locker, a love letter appears beneath one of your ap calculus books and you instantly know who had placed it there.
cw: sfw; fluff all there; romantic bakugou
an: first time author here hello, I read a lot of others work and I decided I should give it ago and this is my first piece of work so please enjoy.-`♡´-
y/n had just finished her second last lesson of the day, now heading off to the one class she wasn't looking forward to, looking for inside her locker searching for her chemistry textbook.
"Aha found it."
grabbing the book that stood behind all the objects inside her locker, y/n was going to close the locker door until she spotted a white envelope peeking out from underneath an ap calculus textbook.
"Huh what's this."
stuffing her chemistry book into her bag, picking up the ap book and moving it to the side. y/n then takes the letter and instantly knows who had given her this.
Glancing around y/n opens the letter carefully knowing full well he was watching.
Smiling y/n skims through the love note, a light blush appearing onto her soft skin. Putting the note into her bag as well and continued to walk away not actually going straight to her class like she usually does, but to find the culprit.
Dodging others while looking for her high school sweetheart was tough as y/n was considered really short as in 5'3 type of short (sorry to the readers who are tall you are welcomed to change it).
If y/n couldn't spot her hot head boyfriend, then she would just try and find his red headed best friend.
you would never see them without each other even if the blonde was rough on his mate.
"sorry" "excuse me" "coming through."
pushing and shoving past people crowded in the hallway y/n had finally caught a glimpse of her angry Pomeranian. An ear-to-ear grin stretched across her face as she hurriedly ran towards him.
"aghh"
Jumping onto his back causing Bakugou Katsuki to grunt, his arms reflexed forward to hold her legs as soon as he felt her rap around him.
"hey y/n"
y/n heard chuckles coming from Kirishima as she snuggled her face into Katsuki neck
"What are you doing- you brat."
"Your so cute Kiki, I love you to."
Bakugou's facials had softened, remembering the words he had previously written in the letter.
'Come find me if you're tired from chem my love, I know you hate it as much as I do. Your dad asked if I could drop you of to your cousin's house after school, so I'll wait for you then if you won't find me after reading this. I love you my sweet girl.'

8. A platonic kiss (spoiler alert: it isn't)
"Can I ask you something?"
Regina looks up from her history textbook, pen paused in the middle of writing the word reformation. She's seated on Cady's bed, notebook in her lap.
She's been spending more and more of her afternoons in Cady's room, doing homework in companionable silence. It's the only way Cady's mom lets her hang out with friends until she brings her calculus grade back up. Strangely, Regina finds she'd rather be here, studying for her AP exam, than walking around the mall or teaching Gretchen how to Dutch braid her hair.
If she spends half the time staring at Cady out of the corner of her eye, heart beating a little faster every time she does that cute nose scrunch thing when she's on a particularly difficult problem, that's nobody's business but her own.
"What's up?" Regina asks.
"What's it like kissing Aaron?" Cady asks.
The m in reformation turns into a jagged line down Regina's notebook page. She stares at Cady, certain she's heard wrong. "What?"
"You've kissed him. I've seen you do it," Cady says, as if that's where the confusion is coming from. "What's it like?"
"Why are you asking me this?" Regina says, feeling her cheeks warm. She's not sure why she's blushing; she isn't the one asking ridiculous questions here. "Haven't you kissed him?"
Cady shakes her head. "I've never kissed anyone," she admits quietly.
"Okay, so..." Regina says. "Then kiss your boyfriend?"
Cady lets out an annoyed huff. "But I can't! He's used to kissing you." Cady throws her arm out towards Regina and Regina isn't sure if she should be offended. "And you're good at that stuff." She pauses. "I mean, you are, right?"
"Uh," Regina says dumbly.
"And what if I'm bad at it?" Cady continues, more softly.
Regina shrugs. "Who cares?"
"I care!" Cady says. "There have been a few times where I could tell he was about to kiss me and I just freaked out and made up some excuse."
"Cady, what do you want me to do about it?" Regina asks, a little desperately. This conversation is bringing up all of her fantasies about kissing Cady, the ones she only allows herself to think about late at night when she's trying to fall asleep—definitely not in Cady's bedroom with her sitting right there.
Cady takes a deep breath. "Will you kiss me?"
Regina's pen falls from her slackened grip, bouncing off the bed and clattering to the floor. She opens her mouth, then closes it again, then opens it and manages to force out a "huh?"
"Please?" Cady asks. "You know what he likes. It's perfect."
It isn't perfect. It's objectively a bad idea. Her crush on Cady almost burned down the entire school, and they hadn't really ever even hugged.
"And we're friends," Cady adds, "so it wouldn't be weird, right?"
Friends. Friends! Regina's brain grabs onto the word. She can do this, as a friendly favor to Cady. Nothing more. It's a win-win, really—Cady gets some experience and Regina can finally get whatever this fixation on Cady is out of her system.
Before she can really think it through, Regina finds herself nodding. "Yeah," she says, her voice cracking. She clears her throat. "Right. Sure."
Cady's face lights up. "Oh my gosh, thanks!"
They stare at each other for a moment.
"Well, come here," Regina says. She draws the line at climbing into Cady's lap in her little desk chair.
Cady stands immediately, seeming to forget the calculator in her lap, which hits the rug with a thud. She comes and sits next to Regina on the bed and angles her body to face her, their faces a few inches apart.
Regina suddenly feels nervous. She's never been nervous about kissing someone before—but those were just boys. They didn't matter. She has to make this good for Cady, so Cady will want to kiss her again.
Regina catches the thought and buries it. So Cady can kiss Aaron, she corrects herself.
"Um, here," Regina murmurs, scooting a bit closer and lifting one of Cady's hands to her shoulder. It feels cool against her overheated skin.
"Okay," Cady whispers, and Regina can feel it against her lips in a way that makes her shiver. She puts a hand on the back of Cady's neck, takes a deep breath, and leans in.
Cady's lips are cool and dry but soft, and Regina has to focus on not immediately pressing Cady into the mattress. She applies just a hint of pressure, not much more than a meaningful press of lips. Cady inhales sharply but doesn't move.
Regina pulls back a bit. "Cady, you have to work with me here," she says, her voice only shaking a little.
"Oh, uh, okay," Cady says, seeming confused.
Before she can think about it, Regina reaches a hand up to Cady's lips and parts them just slightly. "Now tilt your head a bit," she says, and when Cady does, she leans in again.
This time, Regina's lips slot between Cady's, catching Cady's top lip in between both of hers. This time, Cady's mouth moves with hers, tentative at first, clumsy, but it sends something hot and electric down Regina's spine.
Emboldened, Regina presses closer, fingers flexing against the back of Cady's neck, and Cady responds with a soft sound that Regina knows will never stop playing in her brain, even on her deathbed.
Regina pulls back a little, her lips sliding over Cady's now tacky with spit and Regina's lip gloss, adjusts the angle of her head. Without thinking, she grips Cady's upper thigh with her other hand, and Cady arches into her. Heat burns through Regina's body, blooming in her chest and spreading down to pool below her stomach, and alarm bells start going off in her head.
Regina pulls back more suddenly than she means to, and Cady falls into her a little before she catches herself. Cady is breathing hard, her pupils dilated, her lips reddened. Regina desperately wishes she could delete the last five minutes from her brain because she has no idea how she's going to be able to think about anything else for the rest of her life, and she has her AP European History exam in two weeks.
"Wow," Cady says, a little breathlessly. She runs a hand through her hair. "I see why Aaron liked kissing you. Thanks." She laughs a little, even though she's just said the least funny and most destructive thing for Regina's sanity she could possibly say.
"No problem," Regina says, her voice faint. "What are friends for?"
Cady smiles at her. Regina smiles back, reflexively.
Well, shit.

part three of hoo high school au 🥰 (shout out to @demigod-shenanigans)
Leo and Piper’s Schedules
Leo, Jason and Piper were enjoying their last day of Summer at town center when their Sophomore year schedules were released. They were walking down Main Street when Piper screamed. “Schedules are out,” she explained when she noticed Jason’s concerned look and Leo’s judging one.
Leo, not one to be outdone, screamed with her. “I hope I get computer science this year, my sister says it’s totally fun. Oh! And I think I signed up for marching band again, too, so I’ll get into all the games for free-“
“Simp,” Piper interjected. “And worse: a band kid.”
“Oh, shut it, Piper, you joined mock trial for Reyna and went to fencing meets just for her. That was when y’all weren’t together. You’re completely unbearable now.” Leo shoved her with the rage of a thousand suns.
Piper just laughed, pink lemonade sloshing in its cup as she recovered. “As if you guys aren’t! You talk a big game for someone who won’t even tell me how they got together with their boyfriend,” she crooned.
Both Jason and Leo flushed various shades of red. “I don’t like you,” Leo stated.
“Y’know, I did ask Frank about it on the last day of school- we took algebra together- and wow! I really can’t blame you for not talking about it.”
There was a reason Leo didn’t like talking about the day he and Jason got together. It was the night of homecoming and he was going with Piper and Jason (as friends, because at that time Leo had been vehemently straight, though not for long). A good while in, during a slow dance, he and Jason were hanging out towards the edge of the crowd. Jason had turned to him, hot and a little sweaty, grabbed him by the collar, and kissed him. Hard. So desperately that it was a little embarrassing. But nice.
Very nice.
So nice, in fact, that they decided to excuse themselves from the party to make out in the storage closet.
Then Frank had come in, ruining everything like always, turning into a shocked caricature of himself when he laid eyes on the pair. “I need the mop,” he had muttered. Jason wordlessly handed it to him.
After that, the couple had decided to return to the crowd, albeit a little more disheveled than before. Leo forever lamented the fact that the rest of that night could have been spent having fun in the closet, but instead his hopes and dreams were ruthlessly shattered by his arch nemesis, Frank Zhang.
So yeah. He didn’t like talking about it.
“Piper, please,” Jason pleaded, covering his face with one hand, squeezing Leo’s where he held it in his other. Leo squeezed back.
“Yeah, Piper, just tell us your goddamn schedule,” Leo agreed.
Piper laughed and opened her phone, pulling up the school website. There was a purple banner at the top of it, which, in Leo’s opinion, could have been done better. The text was a little off center, the purple was a little too red, and the school logo was definitely supposed to be on the top, not the bottom. Leo was certain he could have done a better job, but he shook his head to clear it out. He was getting off topic again.
“Run that by me again?” He asked, as Piper had been saying something before he came to.
“I said I have AP psych and theater this year,” Piper bragged. She put her hand on her hip as best she could while juggling a phone and a cup of pink lemonade.
“Congrats, Pipes,” Jason said, looking up to smile at her from his phone, where he also had his schedule displayed. Leo pulled out his phone to get with the times while Jason continued talking. “I have AP government with Mr. Zeus this year, but he’s also my study hall teacher, so I don’t know how to feel about that. Thalia had him when she was in high school and I don’t think she said a single positive thing about him-”
Leo groaned when he saw his schedule, unintentionally cutting his boyfriend off. “Sorry, babe, go ahead.”
Jason’s brow furrowed. “What’s wrong?”
“I got calculus,” he explained.
Piper let out a low whistle. “Damn, bro. Sucks.”
“With Mrs. Dodds.”
Jason hummed sympathetically.
“Lemme take a look at your schedule, see how bad you’ve got it and all that,” Piper didn’t ask, more like she expected him to comply. She made grabby hands at it.
Leo surrendered it peacefully, knowing it meant war if he did anything else. In turn, he looked over Jason’s shoulder (more accurately, his forearm, since Leo was a good foot shorter than him) to see his boyfriend’s classes. “Oh, sick, we have chemistry together.”
“Of course we do. Why else would we be together?” Jason tilted his head to the side like a baby puppy. Or a deer. No, he was a puppy- Leo felt 100% confident in that assessment of character.
Leo giggled. “I can’t tell if you’re making a bad joke or if you really thought I was talking about our groundbreaking love story.”
A hand seized his head, wrenching his gaze away from Jason and towards Piper. She had wide eyes and a dropped jaw.
“Leo,” she started, deathly serious.
“Piper?” Leo asked, a little scared.
“Leo.” She grabbed his shoulders and shook him back and forth.
“Piper,” he laughed nervously.
“Leo. We only have one class together.”
Leo stopped laughing. “For realsies?”
“Yeah, for realsies. I wouldn’t lie about this kind of thing.”
“Which one?” He dreaded the answer.
“PE, last class of the day.”
Leo covered his mouth with both hands as he gasped. “No.”
“Yes.” Piper shook her head, wishing it wasn’t true.
“Next thing you know, you’re going to be telling me my husband isn’t coming home from war.”
“I’m right here,” Jason pointed out, “unless you have another husband I don’t know about.”
“Not the time, Jason,” Piper and Leo sobbed together, holding onto each other like it was the last time they had the chance to. Jason stayed silent and lead them over to a bench. They collapsed onto it, crying incoherently about never seeing each other again and suing the school.
Jason sat awkwardly to the side of them, trying to hold back a laugh at the absurdity. Instead, he just said, “you both know we have the same lunch period, right?”
Leo lifted his head. “Oh shit, you’re right.”
“Damn, I never thought about it that way,” Piper agreed.

I'm Saying It Now
My best friend's funeral was on December 15; slightly over 2 months ago. His death was brutally unexpected, and he had a distanced and (perhaps overly) private, if not strained, relationship with his family and with his partner of over 20 years, so it was clear at the services that not much was carefully planned, or crafted to what A would have wanted. Honestly, no one likely knew what he'd want at his funeral; I doubt anyone ever discussed it with him. Or rather, I doubt he ever discussed it with anyone. Not that he lived his life in reckless denial of the realities of mortality; just that he didn't open up to many people about anything, including people he was 'supposed' to be supremely close to, like his parents, or his partner. I know he wasn't discussing it with his kid; too morbid and anxiety-inducing. And he never talked about it with me, either, likely for the same reasons. I'd told him countless times over the decades of our friendship, in not-quite-jesting ways, not to die. 'Don't die.' 'You better not die.' 'Don't fucking die, man.' 'You're not allowed to die.' 'Don't die on me.' 'You can never die.' He usually came back at that with, 'I'm not planning on it,' or, 'I'm trying my best not to,' or, '10-4, boss,' or a couple of times even, 'Jennifer, Jesus Christ, you're so fretty.' So, probably obviously, we never had a bestie chat during a viewing of NCAA tournament basketball that went, 'So in the event of my death, I want to be cremated and my ashes shot into space, and I want you to read this section from Marcus Aurelius's Meditations, and if any ex-girlfriends from high school show up, flip them off...'
Anyway, at the services, which were small and short and too religious for A's taste and belief system, and not religious enough for more than half the mourners (his estranged family), the officiant, who didn't know A at all, was full of the vague spiritual platitudes so many people use around death. He said about 1000 empty words and then opened the floor up to people to share about A. One of his aunts got up, sobbing, and said how much she loved A when he was a little boy in choppy, tearful sentences. No one else stood up. Not his father; not his partner; not his son; not his best friend (me). I couldn't do it. I couldn't stand up; I couldn't speak, definitely not off the cuff. It was hard and painful to even be there accepting that reality on any level, and I'm not a huge fan of speaking out loud, even privately and about cheerful things, to even my closest connections. But these are pale excuses, and I'm ashamed of myself for not standing up to speak about my best friend, one of the most important people in my life, one of the greatest loves of my life.
So I'm saying it now.
Saying it here, to you folks, who at least sort of know and care about ME, is I'm hoping equal to, if not better than, saying it to a room full of people who pretty clearly didn't know shit about A. I hope someone there other than his aunt, who probably still saw him as an 8 year old, really cared about him. I hope they were just like me; they cared so much they couldn't verbalize it on the spot.
Here's my eulogy for A; the one I wish I stood up to say.
A was my best friend. He still is the best friend I ever made. He's the friendship in my life that's been the most close and consistent and lasted the longest. He helped me through the hardest part of my life, and he helped me every time I struggled with anything hard, no matter how often I asked. And I often asked. He was the only person for a large portion of my life I ever asked for help with anything. And he always helped. He never once complained about it. I have a vivid memory of being so overwhelmed with a calculus problem once, that I called him, desperate and in tears. "I've been working this problem for over an hour, and I can't get it. I can't get this. I'm going to fail the next test. I'm not going to pass the AP test. I'm not going to graduate college because I'll have to take math, and I'll have to do it without YOU, and I'll fail..." I'd filled up the front and most of the back of a sheet of college ruled notebook paper with figures and formulas; erased and tried again, over and over. To say higher math was 'easy' for A would be a gross understatement. He really could do calculus in his head. It was effortless, sometimes seemingly involuntary, like he could somehow divine answers through magic (or that's how I perceived it). I felt for sure I was bothering him, asking for help (again) on something he thought was boringly simple. Maybe disappointing him, because I needed help with something he thought was boringly simple. He said, "You're way out ahead of yourself and freaking out. WHY did you wait an HOUR?! Where are you at?" I told him, reading off lines of calculation, sniffing and gasping back more math-panicked crying. "You messed up line 6. Jennifer. You did 50 or 60 lines of extra work. Just call me when you hit the first wall next time. An HOUR. An HOUR and you made yourself CRY. You are not going to fail the next text. (Correct. I didn't.) You are going to pass the AP exam. (Correct. I did.) Even if you have to take college math, you'll pass. You can do it without me. (I'll never know if he was right that time; I didn't have to take college math; because he got me through AP Calculus alive.)" Higher math wasn't really the hard part of my middle school and high school life, though; it was that I was alone in everything, not just calculus homework. My grandparents had passed away, and I was far away from any connections I'd made as a child, without cell service or internet. At a time when I had no one to count on and no meaningful connection, I met A. He WAS my support system in its entirety for almost a decade. And he never let me feel like a chore. In fact, he usually seemed HAPPY to help me. He's helped me through a lot of other stuff that was way more difficult than advanced mathematics. Today is the hardest day of my life, saying goodbye to him. The most difficult thing I've ever struggled with. I'd rather do calculus problems all day, every day, in perpetuity, than say goodbye to him. I'm aching to call A so he can help me do it. A, I'm going to miss you every day of what's left of my life. And not just because you aren't here to walk me through the hard stuff. The pieces of me that you shaped and salvaged are pretty huge and consequential. I can't do the math that quantifies how much I'm missing now. I can just tell stories. I was always secretly hoping you'd tell me one day that you were getting married and you'd say 'fuck it' to tradition, and ask me to be your best man. The only speech I'd ever be happy to give. I had a sappy literary quote all picked out for the hypothetical toast. But I'm saying it now instead, to close a speech I am devastated to give and never wanted to give. C. S. Lewis, in The Last Battle, the final book of The Chronicles of Narnia, wrote,
"Now at last they were beginning Chapter One of the Great Story which no one on earth has read: which goes on for ever: in which every chapter is better than the one before."
I always thought that was a great quote for a wedding; a hopeful wish for the beginning of a loving commitment in marriage. But he wrote it as a speculation of the afterlife. I know neither of us ever had a lot of confident or overt faith in an afterlife, but damn I sure hope you're in a happy story now, in which every chapter is better than the one before. I love you. That won't ever change. I hope we meet again some day in a happy chapter.

When Secrets Arise: A Droning Machinations Pilot Episode
Authored By antienjoys (Discord)
With Help From coolguy80101 (Discord)
- AUTHOR'S NOTE -
This is a pilot episode to test the idea of a story with me and the friends I share a group chat with. This may not be canon to future stories and I may not continue this project if there is no positive reception to the idea. Read on, and I hope you enjoy the pilot!
My name is Joseph Watkins, my pronouns are they/them, I'm not a storyteller, and my last name is coincidentally the same as the lostprophets lead singer, Ian Watkins. I can't narrate fairy tales or make up fables on the spot. That's why I was hesitant to tell this story.
But I have to tell this story. It's a responsibility, an obligation of mine to record what happened today. I made a discovery at my school, Delaney University, that could possibly change the way I see the world. To tell you the truth, I discovered a terrorist organization, an evil lurking and hiding beneath innocent smiles and friendly eyes.
For context, let's start this epic journey at the first day at DU. I was walking through the halls, minding my own business. The only person I was walking with was Dylan Steirn, an exchange student from Australia.
He's my best friend, and he's very laid back. You can't really describe his personality or his looks. He has a unique fashion sense, and he's someone I really look up to in terms of how I should dress and compose myself, my decorum when on campus, how laid back I should be.
For context, I'm 17, but I applied for an Accelerated Graduation Program (AGP for short) at my old high school. This allowed me to attend go to the same university as the aforementioned Mr. Steirn, who I knew from a site known as Discord. His name was coolguy80101, and my name was antienjoys.
When I checked our schedules, I was surprised to learn we had many of the same classes, the only exception being an AP PE class that I had and he didn't have. He said he wishes he had the class, but after I told him about what I experienced, he quickly changed his mind.
The gym on-site was dingy, and our instructor, Mr. Bills, was a sleep-deprived man with a lack of personal grooming.
Compared to my friend Dylan's long, well-kept brown dreads, Mr. Bills had short orange hair that was somehow messy and all over his face. He wore a tank top, and you could see his belly button. He had a strange, tired demeanor, a lack of strictness and carelessness that most gym teachers don't have. He didn't really force us to run laps or play basketball, and he gave us A's no matter what people did, with the excuse that "Well at least most of you tried."
Though most people didn't try. Most of my classmates, in fact, were on their phone or talking to each other. This stirred some concern in me, and I tried to find the teached.
But weirdly I couldn't find Mr. Bills anywhere. Not in the grungy brick courtyard, the dirty, cluttered hallways or the surprisingly compact gym. He wasn't anywhere near the gym, and the other buildings on campus were far enough that walking wouldn't get you there fast, and you'd need to bike.
So, I said to one of my classmates, Wyron, "I need to go."
"Whatever, man. We just met." Wyron, as I'd later learn, didn't take kindly to newcomers interrupting his quiet time. That was fair. I guess I shouldn't've approached him so quickly, treated him like we were already friends, tapped his shoulder while he was on his phone to get his attention.
I promptly left the gymnasium and the disdainful Wyron, searching for the missing teacher. This university was huge, and he could've ran anywhere. Maybe he was in the science hall, helping another professor conduct a lab. Maybe he was in the math hall, helping grade Calculus tests. Or maybe, he was trying to ditch because he was getting caught, arrested for something.
I found Mr. Bills' phone on the ground. The screen was completely black, except for a white skull logo with crossbones and words in a paint-splotchy font that read, "DARRYL BILLS; WELCOME TO THE LEVIATHAN". To my surprise, my teacher was part of a rumored secretive terrorist organization.
"What is going on?" thought I. "I need to talk to Dylan." I picked up the phone and blinked my eyes, a futile attempt to covince myself this is a mere dream, that I was droning on machinations, and my imagination was tricking me like it did on my birthday.
For context, the American weapons-dealing and terrorist group known as LEVIATHAN was just a rumor, one I and my intelligent, like-minded peers researched thoroughly in my senior year of high school, and one US government officials researched, both the high school students and counter-terrorism agents finding the LEVIATHAN terrorist organization to be a hoax. But now, it seemed like my worst dreams had come to fruition, and the nation's fate was in the hands of two university students.
- EPILOGUE -
The LEVIATHAN Creed
The fight for justice never ends
To bring forth peace I solemnly swear
To always fight, through blood, sweat and tears
No matter what the cost, I will bring upon the Earth:
A sense of peace for us, the mighty and righteous
A prosperous future by whatever means necessary
All for my people, the mighty LEVIATHAN shall rise
The mighty LEVIATHAN shall rise

warned you p.sh
pairing: tutor!sunghoon x fem!reader
genre: smut, but at most suggestive for now
wc: 3k
warnings: mature content, cursing, mentions of erection, mentions of casual sex, y/n saying she’s screwing someone’s dad but she doesn’t lmfao
synopsis: y/n needs to pass calculus, and sunghoon needs to get laid
part 1/???
You were going to your snobby and strict private school, just walking to the beat of Sunmi blasting in your headphones. The pigtails got in the way of the headphones but you made it work. You were aiming for the cutesy innocent look today, regardless of if your whole grade thought you were some harlot. You’d rather call yourself a femme fatale, but what you’re really trying to reclaim as a raging bratty feminist is a bimbo.
Bimbos definitely need to keep their head up high with confidence, but seeing the latest AP calculus quiz on your desk with its 37% marked in red severely irked you in that it made you feel dumb, and not the good kind, the very small and insignificant kind. Bimbos don’t like feeling like that. You twirled your pigtail in your hand and tried to keep a neutral expression, holding in the heavy sigh you so badly need to exhale out. That’s when you heard it.
“How did she manage to score that low?” someone snickered.
“All that time spent on her back and not at a desk really paid off.” another person snickered. You really wanted to say you’ve actually got railed by their dad on his desk and that you’re quite adaptable on where you do it, but you didn’t wake up and choose violence today...and plus the teacher would’ve sent you to the office. Giving them attention would just fuel the fire that you can’t put out when you’re up against slut shaming vermin when you’re only a team of one. The bell rang, signaling your next class and before you were able to stand up and go, you were asked to stay for a few minutes afterwards along with someone else. That someone else being Park Sunghoon. You and Sunghoon walked to the desk of your teacher and stood before her.
“Now Y/N, I know that you haven’t been doing well in class so I decided to pair you up with Sunghoon as your tutor. I feel as though you would have great improvement after a few study sessions, considering big chapters are coming up to wrap up the semester, and now is the best time more than ever to get some aid that I can’t provide.” You peek over to Sunghoon and he glances at you briefly before looking back at the teacher.
“Is this mandatory?” you ask.
“If you want to pass this class, I strongly recommend that you let him help you. An alternative explanation could help.” You really had no other choice but to nod your head yes and go along with it.
“Good. Now that both of you are informed, hurry along before you’re late to your next class.” After both of you scurry out of the room, you walk ahead to your next class and feel a tap on your shoulder.
“Hi, I’m Sunghoon, but you already knew that.” he says awkwardly while he hands you a post it note in neat handwriting. You eye it, then look up.
“You’re giving me your number?” you ask. He nods.
“Texting is the most efficient way to communicate with me since I have ice skating practice and student council related things to do.” he iterates. Before you even say a word, Sunghoon is already off to his next class, but you don’t miss the way he turns around to wave at you and yells “Text me!” in the hallway. You’ve gotten many stares before, from the way you carry yourself and from the way you purposely pull your uniform skirt higher because you think it would look best as a mini skirt, but this time, you heard whispers.
“Why is he talking to her?”
“Must be doing charity work.”
You smile. You can’t wait to tell your best friend Sunoo what just happened at lunch.
-
“The ice prince is doing what now?” Sunoo says with fruit gummies in his mouth.
“He’s helping me with calculus. And gave me his number.” you say while grabbing for a piece of candy to which Sunoo lets you grab a few.
“So…what’s the plan here?” Sunoo says with an eyebrow raised.
“I’ll text him right now and have some fun.”
“You whore! What do you mean have some fun?” Sunoo asked not subtly with his booming voice.
You roll your eyes. “You know the drill. I think he’s an easy target. I’ll be my cute charming self and see what happens.”
“You mean you’ll be a man eater and devour that poor innocent boy whole?”
“You know me so well.” you say, grinning ear to ear. You whip out your phone and compose a text.
You: Hey Sunghoon, it’s Y/N, are you free after school today?
Unknown: Hey, and yes. Where would you like to study?
You: I’m more comfortable at my house where there’s less distractions. The library is too quiet for me and I like some white noise.
Sunoo peeks over your shoulder and says, “He responds fast.”
You smile, “Right?”
You start typing right away, but notice the three dots before you get to send anything.
Unknown: Sounds good, I’ll meet you after school :)
Sunoo gasps. “A smiley? A smiley!” You giggle at his reaction.
“It’s just an emoticon silly.” you say.
“It’s going to be water droplets and eggplants soon though.” Sunoo said in a sing song voice. You can’t help but laugh at your easily giddy best friend. You had big, big plans to get your prey, and you were going to have your fun in the process of passing calculus while you’re at it.
-
English literature wasn’t the most fun class in the world with talking about MacBeth and all, however, the fun part was daydreaming about Sunghoon. You have fancied the boy for the longest time casually but thought he was a little too vanilla for you. And you don’t like admitting it, a little too good for you with being a smart hardworking boy with his head on steady shoulders while yours just bobbled to whatever. Anyhow, you needed danger. A little spice, and everything delectably nice. He didn’t seem the type to be rough enough.
He was however tall, lean, and achingly adorable. Handsomely crafted, so soft spoken, and knew when to shut up unlike every boy you’ve slept with thus far. He’s a nice target.
The bell rang, and you were quite surprised to see Sunghoon standing by your locker while you’re on your way there.
“Sunghoon!” you say cheerfully, making sure there was a bounce in your step, very glad you’re not wearing a bra today. For some reason the air conditioning wasn’t working today at school so you used this as an excuse to unbutton a few buttons earlier on your white crisp button up. You can see very clearly Sunghoon gulp and you can’t help but do your eye smile at this, and he does a soft grin in return.
“How did you figure out where my locker was?” you say as you tilt your head. Sunghoon couldn’t help but think the simple gesture of a head tilt was so charming.
He shrugs. “I was going to text you but I knew you would be in class, so I looked at some documents to find out which locker it was. You know, student council perks.”
“Ah.”
“Please don’t find it creepy.”
“I won’t, you dork.” You bend over to reach your locker since it was on the bottom row. Sunghoon stepped aside to let you open your locker, and his breath hitches in his throat. Seeing the back of your thighs in a skirt that was hiked up higher than it was supposed to was bewitching. He felt like he was in a trance and lingered his eyes on your legs for quite a while. Your skirt was just at the edge of the curvature of your ass, leaving some to the imagination but not much. You knew exactly what you were doing. You had many cheap tricks up your sleeve, and you were going to use them to your advantage. You could practically feel his gaze on you and you can’t help but smirk as you grab your calculus textbook along with your pencil bag, still bent over taking your time putting the items in your backpack. Sunghoon knows he has to stop staring or otherwise this won’t look good for him.
“Ready to go?” you say with a smile. It takes a moment for him to process what just happened and he’s all the while wondering how did your legs not hurt when you didn’t crouch to the ground all the way.
“Of course.”
-
The walk to your home was pleasant, you looked down at your shoes often and Sunghoon mapped out what sections you two were to go over in the textbook, including the homework that was assigned today. You asked him how his classes went and he responded after pausing to mull over his thoughts.
“It’s okay. Nothing exciting happened other than right now.” he says, looking at you while giving you his undivided attention. You can’t help but admire the beauty that is Sunghoon. His soft looking hair that frames his face nicely and the way he has his hands shoved into the pockets of his uniform slacks make him look so boyishly handsome and breathtaking.
It takes a moment for you to respond. “What about right now is so exciting?”
He gently smiles and looks away from you. “I don’t tutor people often. Every once in a while I get asked to help students about a few things but never really spend enough time with them to consider it tutoring. And the change of pace on how I manage my time is much needed. I don’t interact with different people often, so this is...nice.”
Your heart races as the clouds take over the blue sky slowly. You notice just how pretty the cute moles on his face are as your gaze lingers on them for a bit. He does that stupid charming smile that makes you giddy and you blush, picking up the pace. You start turning while walking backwards just to give him your undivided attention.
“We should walk faster, Sunghoon. It might start drizzling.”
-
Both of you entered your home and took your shoes off at the front door. Sunghoon took a quick glance at your home, to which he said “this is a cozy house.” You tell him your bedroom is the coziest spot in the house, and let him trail behind you as you go up the stairs, and he doesn’t miss the way your pretty and dainty hand smooths over the railing as you walk up. Entering your room, he noticed the pink canopy bed right away, and the pink heart shaped pillow on it. There were so many details in just one spot, with the floral comforter and lights attached to the tulle. It was pretty and graceful. Light and airy. Soft.
“You can sit on the bed. Let me get changed out of this uniform, it’s so hot in this blazer.” you say as you start to strip in front of your closet, looking away from Sunghoon. Now, Sunghoon doesn’t see himself as a pervert, so therefore, when he noticed you unbuttoning your white button up and could only see the smoothness of your back and notice there was no bra in sight, his cheeks flushed. He quickly turned the other cheek and looked anywhere else but you. Unfortunately, perhaps fortunately, you had a full length mirror with fake pink roses running along its sides across your room. Sunghoon tried really, really hard to look at the curve of the pink petals and not at the curve of your breasts when you turned to the side slightly, but he failed so horribly. He could see himself and his cheeks were beet red. The bulge in his pants was so noticeable too. He quickly placed his backpack on his lap and winced at how heavy it was against him. Why did that kinda feel good?
You turn around wearing your school uniform skirt still but this time with a bright red crop top and of course, no bra. Sunghoon is dying and he can’t help but stare at how prominent your nipples are through the thin material. You take the pigtails down and he loves the way your hair cascades down your shoulders once it’s out of its confines of a scrunchie. He blinks once, twice, many times. Maybe if he sees only the back of his eyelids long enough he will stop picturing you naked. It doesn’t work, and you just stand with your hands on your hips and a lilt to your voice.
“Are you thirsty?” you say sweetly, knowing your tricks are working.
“Uh, y-yeah. Do you have water? Can I have water please?” Sunghoon is so precious.
“Of course you can.”
-
You really are a chintzy whore at best. Your excuse for not sitting at the desk of your room to study was that there was only one comfy study chair, and that you didn’t feel like bringing the dining room chair upstairs. That’s understandable, right? You could’ve however used the chair at your vanity, but that’s just a padded stool with no back to it. Wouldn’t want you or Sunghoon to forget and lean back too far and fall to your doom. So you told Sunghoon that you would rather study in your bed.
You played a little playlist in the background, something mellow and soft and not too distracting. Every once in a while Sunghoon will ask what song it is, and you respond with a chipper in your voice.
“Oh, this one is Sex and Sadness by Madi Sipes and the Painted Blue!”
“That’s one hell of a title.” he chuckles.
“It sure is. The lyrics are so...pretty? I can’t put it into words. The part where it talks about ‘stained glass loved lace’ gets me every time. And ‘whispering words into the singer’s skin.’ It’s romantic.” Sunghoon notices how there’s a certain dazzling feature in your eyes as you talk about the song. He wants to stare in your eyes, but alas you have to finish this one problem. Sunghoon prioritizes responsibilities over such silly, frivolous things that only he notices.
“So tell me how you’re going to solve this problem.” Sunghoon says swiftly while grabbing the glass of water on your nightstand.
You stare at the problem and try your best to concentrate. You really do. But you can’t help the way Sunghoon’s hand looks lazily placed on his thigh. Without much thought, you trace a finger on the back of his hand and say, “Your hands are so veiny.”
“Y/N.”
“And big.”
Well that’s a first, Sunghoon thinks. He knows he’a good looking, a bunch of girls swoon over him at school and at the rink all the time. The most common compliment he gets is on his eyes, and maybe hair, but not on his hands of all things. You’re fascinated by them, and you won’t stop tracing along the veins. Your touch sets his skin ablaze, and it doesn’t seem like you’re finishing this problem any time soon.
“Let’s take a break. I think you’re getting distracted because your brain is all fried.” Sunghoon says softly, still letting you continue playing with his hand.
“I’m getting distracted because I have a pretty boy in my bed.” you giggle. You finally look up and see how pink his cheeks are from blushing.
He starts to stammer “You’re the one that wants to study in your bed!” His voice is a little pitched and you can’t contain your laughs.
“Do you want to move to the desk then?” you ask.
He shakes his head and mumbles a “no.” A few moments pass and you almost didn’t hear what he says next because it’s under his breath.
“I’ve never been called pretty before.”
“Gasp.” you say, lightheartedly.
“No but like, I’ve been called handsome, smart, a little weird, but not pretty.” Sunghoon replies. A moment of silence passed, and you started to ponder.
“There’s a song called Pretty Boy in my playlist somewhere.”
You go over to your laptop and click on The Neighbourhood song. You sway your hips gently and get lost into the music. Sunghoon just gazes at you as you move along to the steady pulse of the music and let the melodies feel you instead of the other way around. You do a little twirl and waltze your way to your bed, grabbing his hand.
“Dance with me.”
He obliged, wordlessly.
He takes in the words of the lyrics and closes his eyes. If he can’t see how close he is to you right now, it feels less real. It feels less scary. Not that you’re scary, Sunghoon doesn’t think girls with pink heart shaped pillows are scary. What’s scary is you laughing at his boner because he hasn’t been this close to a girl before since a random winter formal he had in grade school. The girl wasn’t all that nice since she dipped to dance with his friend. You’re much softer and nice. More delicate. You even smell nicer. God, your little hands enclosed together behind his neck and his big hands on your waist feels too good to be true. He can feel your gaze on him.
“Sunghoon, open your eyes.” He does, and his breath hitches and you look down, because you definitely feel something poking you and it wasn’t there before.
“I have to go, I have a curfew and it’s getting late, I’ll walk myself out.”
“Sunghoon I can at least walk you down-“
“No, seriously. I can go by myself. Thank you though.”
He’s so wide eyed and his cheeks are so rosy and he dashes away like his life depends on it. And you didn’t even get to kiss him.

(AoT/SNK) Reluctant Hero: Levi X Abused!Reader
You looked around nervously and pulled your sweater sleeve down farther as you walked into the school building. You didn’t want anyone to see the new bruises on your arms, let alone on your neck. You hoped the turtleneck sweater would hide them. You knew the sweater looked suspicious since it was late spring, borderline early summer, and the temperatures called for lighter clothing, but you really had no choice. You tugged the neck up higher and scurried off to your locker, hoping everyone would ignore you like they normally did.
“Hey ________, what’s with the sweater,” your best friend Max asked, scaring you near shitless, “Isn’t it a little warm?”
“Ah…,” you muttered, panicking slightly, trying to come up with an excuse, “I’m not warm at all! You know me, I’m a fucking ice cube, I’m cold all the time!”
You cringed internally, knowing it sounded like a terrible excuse, but you prayed to whatever god there was out there that she bought it. You breathed a silent sigh of relief when she laughed.
“Yeah, you’re right.” She said, smiling.
You grabbed your books and shoved them into your backpack. You slung it over your shoulder and winced in pain as it hit a particularly nasty bruise on your back.
Max looked at you concerned and asked, “Hey, are you ok?”
You quickly nodded your head and said, “Yeah, I’m fine! I just hurt my back last night trying to move my couch.”
“Why were you moving your couch?” She asked, confused.
You racked your brain for any lie possible and quickly spewed, “I was trying to clean under it.”
She seemed to buy it and you breathed another quiet sigh of relief. You finally bid your friend goodbye and hurried to your first hour class, pre-calculus. You immediately sat in your seat and took your book and notebook out, getting prepared for class. Class began and you wrote down everything your teacher did exactly as she did, but you still didn’t understand it. When you finished the notes, she began to hand back your last test. You got nervous, knowing that you didn’t do very well. When she placed it on your desk, it was upside down, and she gave you a sad look. She continued on down the rows and you sighed, flipping the test over, groaning quietly at the red “f” at the top. Next to it, also written in red letters, was a note that said, ‘See me at the end of class please – Mrs. Palmer’. You sighed again and looked up, only to have your (e/c) eyes lock with steely grey irises.
‘Shit!’ You thought, blushing lightly and looking away from him.
His name was Levi Ackerman, a fellow senior at Shiganshina High, and he was a student aid for Mrs. Palmer first hour. You’d known Levi since you were in fourth grade when he had moved from France to Shiganshina. You were never friends, but he had been in both your fourth and fifth grade classes and several classes after that in middle and high school. You’d learned a little bit about the boy by watching him from afar, but you had never talked to him more than just a passing encounter during class about an assignment. You’d heard from other people that he was a very unpleasant person, but from the few brief encounters you had with him he didn’t seem that bad.
“Alright, that’s all for today,” Mrs. Palmer said, snapping you out of your thoughts, “Either review your test or start on your homework.”
You chewed your lip as you rose from your seat, beginning to walk towards Mrs. Palmer’s desk. You eventually came to a stop before her desk and played with the end of your sweater, dreading what she was going to say.
“________, do you know that you’re failing?” She asked quietly so that only you could hear her.
You swallowed and nodded almost guiltily.
“Why is that?” She continued.
“I just don’t understand the stuff…,” you muttered, looking down, “I write down the notes exactly how you write them, but I just don’t understand how to do it….”
She frowned and said, “That’s what I thought. Would it help if you had a tutor?”
You thought for a moment and nodded. Your teacher nodded as well and motioned someone behind you over. When that someone stopped beside her, you looked at them and resisted the urge to gasp. It was Levi.
“From now on I’m going to have Levi tutor you,” she said, gesturing to the short male with her hand, “He’s amazingly good at math and he’s tutored many students before so I’m sure he can help you.”
You nodded and looked at him shyly.
“Do you have a lunch or a free hour?” He asked, crossing his arms.
“Um, both, actually…,” you said, voice shaky, “I have lunch fourth hour and IA eighth hour.”
“Alright,” he sighed, nodding, “I’ve got lunch fourth hour and I student aid for Mrs. Palmer again eighth hour for pre-calc so were meeting both those times, got it?”
You quickly nodded.
“I’ll find you at lunch, so just sit where you normally do.” He said, picking his bag up from the floor.
You nodded again. The bell rang and he nodded at you before walking past you and leaving the room. You quickly gathered your things and made your way to your AP psychology class. You took your seat next to your best friend and stared off into space.
“Hey,” Max said, snapping her fingers in front of your face, startling you, “Earth to ________! What’s up with you today?”
“Well, I wasn’t feeling the greatest this morning, but then last hour I found out that I’m going to be getting tutored twice a day by Levi Ackerman.” You said, shaking your head.
“Wait, you’re getting tutored by Mr. Forever-Pissed-Off-With-A-Stick-Up-His-Ass?!” Max asked, surprised.
“Oh come on,” you said, rolling your eyes, “He’s not that bad.”
“You’ve never seen him mad then.” Max said, shuddering.
You shook your head and tried to pay attention to your psych teacher.
You grabbed you lunch and sat down at your normal table, across from Max.
“Why are you over there?” She asked.
“Cause I’ve gotta get tutored.” You answered, pulling your book and notebook out, getting ready for number hell.
A minute later, a book and a tray were placed beside yours and a body settled onto the bench next to you.
“Alright brat, you ready for this?” Levi asked, cracking his knuckles.
You flinched at the sound and began to shake.
“U-uh, excuse me…!” You said, jumping up and running from the table, heading towards the bathroom.
Levi watched ________ run off with confused grey eyes. The girl looked terrified. He turned his perplexed orbs to her best friend, hoping she could shed some light on the situation.
“Is she alright?” He asked.
Max sighed and said, “She does that sometimes. She’ll randomly cringe and suddenly run off, most times to the bathroom. I feel like it’s got something to do with hearing or seeing something but I can’t figure it out.”
The girl looked worried about her friend and Levi wanted to figured it out as well. He wondered if it was something he had done or said. He frowned and looked in the direction that ________ had run off and saw that she was coming back.
You quickly pulled yourself together and left the bathroom. You headed back to the table, an embarrassed blush coming to your cheeks as you saw Levi looking at you.
“Sorry,” You said quietly, pulling on your sleeves, “I get these little nauseous spells and I tend to run away when they happen… you know, just in case….”
You hoped the lie sounded believable, because if they didn’t buy it you were in big trouble. Luckily they both nodded and Levi dove right into the tutoring lesson. Mrs. Palmer had given him all the things that you’d need to go over and he luckily started at the beginning. You didn’t get to go through much, but what you did get through you finally understood.
“Alright, so eighth hour, just go to Mrs. Palmer’s room and we’ll pick up where we left off, alright?” Levi said, packing his things up.
You nodded and did the same, shoving you book in your bag. You slung it over your shoulder and flinched again as it came in contact with the same bruise from that morning. What you didn’t know was that it didn’t go unnoticed by both Levi and Max, who shared a worried look.
Eighth hour you headed to Mrs. Palmer’s room, your pre-calc book in hand. It was an odd feeling but you accepted it. When you reached the room, you were relieved to see that Levi was already there.
“Back here,” he said, leading you to a table in the back of the room, “We’ll be going over things back here while she teaches and she’ll probably drop in and check up on us at some point knowing her.”
You giggled slightly, knowing he was right. You sat down and began studying again. Levi really was a good tutor because you were picking the material up really fast now. Soon the bell rang, signaling that you were released from prison. You both let out a breath and began to slowly pack up your stuff.
“Thank you for tutoring me…,” you said softly, causing Levi to pause in his movements, “I know Mrs. Palmer probably asked you to do it, but still, it’s really helping me already so… thanks….”
“Actually,” he said, beginning to put his stuff away again, “I offered to do it.”
“What?!” You said, looking at him in surprise.
“She was grading tests and she started talking about how she was sad about a student not doing well and she started ranting to me, as she often does, and after she was finished, I offered to tutor you.” He said, looking at you.
You blushed lightly and looked back down at your stuff, shoving the last thing in your bag.
“Well, thank you….” You said.
He nodded and you both stood. You excited the classroom and parted ways with a quick goodbye. You stopped by your locker to drop off a few things before leaving the school. You groaned loudly when you reached the door and saw the light sprinkle turn into a downpour. You sighed and were about to accept your fate when a voice sounded from behind you.
“Are you walking home ________?”
You turned around with a start and saw Levi standing there, backpack over one shoulder, umbrella in one hand, and car keys in the other.
You looked back out the door for a second before returning your gaze to the male and answering.
“I have to,” you said, your shoulders slumping slightly, “I don’t have a car….”
He frowned and shook his head.
“I’m not letting you walk home in this kind of weather,” he said, walking up to you, “I may be an asshole, but I'm not that much of an asshole.”
You opened your mouth to argue but a clap of thunder sounded, cutting you off. You flinched at the loud sound and began to shake. You nodded your head, agreeing to letting him drive you home. He walked to the doors, you right behind him, and opened one. He opened the umbrella and stepped outside. He grabbed your backpack and pulled you out and under the umbrella with him, keeping his arm around your shoulders. He led you through the parking lot to his truck and unlocked the doors. He opened the passenger side door and helped you into the truck before closing the door and getting in himself. He tossed the wet umbrella into the backseat and started the truck.
“Where do you live?” He asked.
You swallowed hard and told him where you lived. He looked at you with a strange look in his eyes but began driving anyway. You looked down at your hands shyly. You didn’t want him to know you lived in the really nice neighborhood. When he pulled up to your house, you blushed more. It was really big.
“Um…,” you muttered, looking at him shyly, “Thanks for driving me home Levi….”
“Yeah, anytime.” He said, a strange look in his eyes.
You grabbed your bag and quickly jumped out of the truck, running into your house. You watched through the window as he pulled away and sighed. You trudged up the stairs to your room. You entered the barely furnished room and set your bag down on the floor. You locked your door and sat on your bed, bringing your knees to your chest. You reached over to your bedside table and picked up the framed picture that was set there. You looked at it and felt tears roll down your face. It was a picture of your family from when you were little. Your mother was holding you and your two older brothers were standing beside her, hugging you two, their heads on her shoulders. Your father wasn’t in the picture since he was the one who took it, but it was all for the best since you hated the man. You hated him because he didn’t even want you. He had never wanted you. He’d only wanted sons. The only reason you were born was because your mother wanted you. She loved you with all her heart and you shared the same adoration. But then she was taken from you when you were six. She had been hit crossing the street while she was out shopping one day and died before the paramedics even arrived.
“I miss you mom….” You whispered, letting more tears flow.
Your phone rang and you sniffled, wiping your eyes. You grabbed your (f/c) phone and looked at the caller ID. You saw that it was your older brother Mason and smiled slightly.
“Hi Mason.” You said, voice still shaky.
“________,” he said, sounding concerned, “What’s wrong? You sound off.”
“Nothing. I'm fine, really. I was just looking at the picture of me, you, Joshua, and mom and got a little sad, that’s all.” You said, smiling to yourself.
“Ok, well as long as that’s all that it is. Don’t be afraid to tell me if there is something though. Cause I’ll cut a bitch, and you know it.” He said.
You giggled and said, “Yeah, I know.”
He chuckled and said, “So how’ve you been little one?”
“Holding on.”
“School kicking your ass?”
“Yeah….” You trailed off a bit.
Your brother laughed and asked a few more questions before ending the call. It was hard having twin older brothers who were ten years older than you. You had a great relationship with them but they didn’t know what was happening with your father.
“________!”
Speaking of your father….
You flinched at the yell you heard and knew you’d be getting a few new bruises.
It’d been two weeks since Levi started tutoring you and since you got a few pretty new bruises on your back, arms, and neck from him. It was beginning to get too warm for long sleeve sweaters, so you were wearing a tank top under and light hoodie, trying to hide as much of the bruising as possible. Levi also started driving you home every day, insisting that you shouldn’t have to walk if he could drive you. When you got into the truck, you dropped your phone, so you leaned over to grab it. You weren’t careful when you leaned though, and Levi got an eyeful of bruising on your neck and chest.
“Shit ________,” he said, staring at you, wide eyed, “What happened to you?!”
You looked at him confused before realizing what had happened. You blushed and pulled you hoodie around you tighter, trying to cover the bruising. You began to shake, fear coursing through your veins at what was to come.
“________, did someone hurt you?” Levi asked softly, startling you.
You’d never heard Levi use that tone of voice before. It almost sounded like he was talking to a frightened small animal. Which, in some respects, was what he was doing, but still. You swallowed hard and stared at him, (e/c) locked with steel. You contemplated telling him or not. No one knew what was going on, not even Max.
“________...,” Levi’s soft voice brought your full attention back to him, “Please, tell me what’s going on….”
You broke. Tears began to form in your eyes and chocked sobs began to escape your throat against your will. Levi quickly, but gently, pulled you against him and let you sob into his chest. After some time had passed, you finally calmed down enough to speak.
“My father….” You whispered, voice hoarse.
“What?!” Levi uttered, shocked.
You swallowed the lump in your throat and rested your head against his chest before elaborating.
“My father has been abusing me since I was six,” you said, sniffling, “It wasn’t as bad when I was little because my brothers were still at home so he couldn’t really do much, but then they went to college when I was eight. That’s when it started to get bad.”
“Why would he do this to you?” Levi asked.
You smiled bitter sweetly and said, “He never wanted me. He only wanted sons, but my mother wanted me. But she died when I was six, so I lost my only real protection. Then when my brothers left, I was left completely defenseless.”
Levi was quiet and you looked up at him. His jaw was clenched and he looked angry.
“Levi…?” You said quietly, putting your hand on his chest.
He looked down at you and said, “When would your dad be home?”
You were confused but answered him anyway.
“He won’t be home until later… why?” You said.
“Because you’re going to go grab a bag of your stuff, and then you’re coming to live with me,” he said, his arms tightening around you, “No arguments. I'm not going to let that bastard hurt you anymore.”
You stared at him with wide (e/c) irises and he suddenly began to blur. You burred your face in his chest and began to cry again.
“I’ll keep you safe,” he whispered into your (h/c) hair, “I promise….”
“Thank you…!” You cried, nuzzling into his chest.
You sat there for a little while longer before heading to your house. You threw what little belongings you had into a bag and left with Levi. He drove you to his apartment and he settled you into the spare room he had.
“Why do you live alone?” You asked, looking at him as you sat on the couch.
“My parents decided that they wanted to go back to France, but I didn’t want to leave,” he said, bring one knee up to his chest, “I was already eighteen at the time so they decided to get me an apartment so I could finish out high school and figure out what I want to do with my life.”
You looked at him and thought he looked a bit sad. You smiled faintly and leaned your head on his shoulder. He rested his on top of yours and you just sat there in a comfortable silence until you both decided it was time to turn in for the night.
“If you need me for what ever reason, just come in,” he said, leaning on the doorframe to his room, “Chances are, I might still be awake. I don’t sleep very well most nights so it won’t be any trouble.”
You nodded and smiled at him before going into your own room. You changed into your pajamas and crawled into bed. You closed your eyes and were able to fall asleep fairly quickly.
Your eyes shot open and you sat up in bad, your breathing ragged. You took a shaky deep breath and closed your eyes, only to gasp and quickly open them. All you saw was his face when you closed your eyes. You took another deep breath before getting out of bed and heading across the hall. You quietly opened the door and slipped inside, closing it behind you as quietly as possible.
“________?” Levi asked, sitting up slightly.
It looked like he had been awake, so you didn’t feel that bad about coming to him. You walked over to his bed and sat on the edge. He sat up all the way and put a hand on your shoulder. As soon as he did, you lunged at him and buried you face in his neck, your body shaking from the fear.
“Nightmare?” He asked softly, stroking your slightly messy hair.
You nodded and shifted slightly, trying to get comfortable. He pulled you down to lay beside him and cuddled your shaking body against his, trying to take your fear away. No matter what he did however, your body wouldn’t stop trembling. So he gently took your chin between his thumb and forefinger and tilted your face upwards to face him.
“I told you that I would protect you didn’t I?” He whispered, slowly leaning closer.
When you didn’t pull away, he closed the distance between your lips and kissed you. You kissed him back after the initial shock wore off. He pulled back after a few seconds and rested his forehead against yours.
“That felt good….” He muttered, a breathy chuckle leaving his lips, tickling yours.
“Yeah….” You breathed your agreement.
“Be my girl?” He asked quietly.
You smiled and kissed him again.
“I don’t think it’s even a question….” You said, kissing him again.
He chuckled and nipped your lip, kissing you deeper this time. He was defiantly not letting anything or anyone hurt you now.
“Hello?”
“Hi, Joshua ____(l/n)____?”
“Yes, who is this?”
“I’ll explain in a minute. First let me get your brother on the line as well.”
“Hello?”
“Mason ____(l/n)____?”
“Yes?”
“Ok, good. Now that I have you both, my name is Levi Ackerman. I'm your sister’s boyfriend. We recently got together, she hasn’t been hiding it from you. But that’s beside the point. The reason I called you both is because I need your help. ________ is currently living with me because your father has been abusing her. I have pictures of the bruises he left even.”
“He what?!”
“That bastard! I knew something was wrong when I’d call and she’d be crying!”
“Like I said, I need your help. I know it’s short notice, but if you could make it out here within the next few days, I want to get him where he belongs.”
“I’ll be on the next flight there.”
“I’m in the car in an hour.”
“See you soon.”
You heard a knock on the door and got up to answer it.
“Joshua, Mason?!” You exclaimed, extremely confused.
They both enveloped you in a hug together, confusing you even further.
“What are you doing here?” You asked, hugging them back.
“I called them.” Levi said from behind you.
“What?” You were now completely confused.
“We’re putting that basted where he belongs,” Mason said, clearly upset, “Why did you never tell us?!”
Your eyes widened and you turned to Levi.
“You told them?!” You asked.
He nodded and said, “I need their help to put him where he belongs to make sure you’re truly safe.”
You sighed and sat down on the couch. You listened to them plan and scheme about how to get your father arrested. You rolled your eyes and finally spoke up.
“How about we just go file a report with the police,” you said, looking at them, “We’ve got plenty of pictures of the bruises and I’ve got some scars I can show them.”
They looked at each other and seemed to agree. So they took you down to the station and you did just that. And they arrested your father. You wouldn’t have to deal with him for a very, very long time.
It’s been a few months since all the excitement of getting your father arrested. You and Levi graduated along with your friends. And speaking of your friends, you and Levi set up Max and one of Levi’s friends Mike, so they were having their own summer adventure. But as for you and Levi, you were traveling around Europe together for the summer. And in the fall, you’d both be starting at a university in France.
“Oi, brat, why are you staring out the window?” Levi asked, snapping you out of your thoughts.
You looked at him and smiled. You went over to him and startled his lap, wrapping your arms around his neck.
“Because I had some stuff on my mind,” you said, kissing his neck, “But, I think I know something else that’s on my mind now.”
Levi smirked and flipped you over so he was hovering over you.
“Great idea.” He said, nipping at your neck, trailing his tongue lower.
You wrapped your arms around his neck and smiled.
“I love you ________....” Levi murmured against your chest, placing a kiss to your heart.
“I love you too Levi….”

safe haven.
A/N: Don’t mind me, just giving J a normal high school romance--one where his family is not involved. Set in S1 of Animal Kingdom. First time writing for this guy, so let me know what you think
Pairing: Josh Cody x Black!OC
Rating: 💙 A soft piece with the youngest Cody, and the girl he tries to keep secret from his new found family.
Request: Convincing J to study bc he's too caught up in the family business to worry about midterms
Words: 3.3k
Josh tightens his grip, crushing the letter in his hand. Left inside the unaddressed envelope, the letter remains unread. There is no point in reading it. J got the gist of the letter from the conversation with the counselor. He discards the crumpled mess in a nearby trash can.
The end of the school week produces a flood of excited teenagers emptying into the parking lot.
J's mind is on the previously discarded letter.
It was a letter of truancy, addressed to his grandmother, his current guardian. It has been months since the passing of J's mother. The school's patience has spread thin. His grades have not dropped, but his attendance has.
His mind is on the letter when he fishes his keys out of his front pocket. His pace slows before he comes to a complete stop a few feet short of his truck. The truck is where he left it, but there's a new addition.
It now has a powder blue backpack on the hood. Seated beside the backpack is the prettiest girl in school.
Cori Edwards has a familiar pair of black shades concealing her dark brown eyes -- now J remembers where he left them. She has abandoned the denim jacket he caught a glimpse of her in earlier. A knowing smile spreads across her face as she watches his eyes linger on the sundress she wears. As his eyes return to hers, J can't deny the smile on his lips.
The last time he saw Cori, for longer than the brief seconds they pass in the halls, was a month ago. This year, it appeared fate wanted to test the two. They had the same classes, the same teachers, but never at the same time. A few months ago, this meant they spent all of their free time stealing kisses at lunch and in the halls. They would then make up for lost time as soon as the school bell rang.
But things have changed too much.
J's mother didn't keep track of his movements. His grandmother and uncles, J came to learn, analyze his actions. Keeping secrets has become second nature to him since moving into the Cody House. The one secret he swore he'd never reveal was Cori. He hasn't introduced her to Smurf or his uncles. He hasn't shared much about how his life has changed, upon his moving into their house, with Cori.
After so many vague responses, Cori understood it was better not to ask questions. She didn't want to spend her limited time arguing with J. Only, in the last month their limited face time has dwindled. Fizzed out to nothing.
A few texts here. A few long spread out phone calls there.
It was after one of those texts that their last reunion had taken place.
J might have been slightly drunk -- sober enough to drive, and park his truck a block from Cori's parent’s house. He had climbed through her bedroom window. The act itself was not graceful. His tumble through the window at three am woke her dad. Her dad came in to find Cori “still sleeping,” the toppled over AP Calculus and Physics books on the floor enough incentive for him to return to bed.
Once the coast was clear, J managed to strip before climbing into bed alongside her. All she received was a quick kiss before his arm was around her. He was out before his head hit the pillow. He left Cori with no time to inquire about his reasoning behind showing up drunk. Or about the black eye and busted lip. He had to sneak out in the morning before her parents got up.
Rumor has it J’s been showing up to school, even if Cori's rarely seen him there. He shows up for three days, almost like clockwork. Technically, it is enough to stop the school from legally reporting him for truancy. Until the counselor concluded it was time J stopped playing that game--which brings us to J's current situation.
He's standing in the parking lot, keys in hand, staring at his girlfriend -- at least he thinks she's still his girlfriend. Is it weird if he leads with that question?
As he stands before her, the only thought in his mind is how much he's missed her smile.
Jingling the keys in his hand, J regards the innocent smile on Cori's lips before shaking his head.
“You got a tracker on me, I don’t know about, Edwards?”
“Nope. It’s just a Cody sighting is kind of a big deal in these halls,” Cori sighs lightly as her eyes pass over the crowded parking lot. “Word gets around pretty fast when you actually show up.”
Cori’s words don't receive a verbal response. Her eyes are covered, but J knows what look lies inside them. The look causes his eyes to avoid hers. His hand rubs against the back of his neck, a soft chuckle leaving his lips.
"Haven’t seen you around lately, Josh." She continues, the warmth of her fingers against his chin lifting J's gaze. Cori raises her sunglasses, her eyes passing over his face. "Nice to know your black eyes is gone."
"Yeah--sorry about that night." The smile on his lips is sheepish as he watches her study his face. He mentally kicks himself for the following line--he knows it's getting old. He says it anyway. "I had some family stuff-"
"That left you drunk with a black eye and busted lip?"
J takes in her raised brow, his shoulders sink.
What can he say?
I got my ass kicked after I was caught in the act of stealing some guy's car. Granted, my uncle saved my ass, but not before I got a black eye and busted lip?
No. He can't say that.
If he does, then he would have to explain why he was stealing a car in the first place. And that is a rabbit hole J isn't willing to jump down--not with her.
The passing of her fingers through his hair causes J to speak up.
"Sorry. I know you're tired of bullshit excuses." He shakes his head.
"I'm used to it," Cori sighs, her hands falling to her lap.
Before he can stop himself, J's hands are on her thighs pulling her closer. His lips are on hers.
"I'm sorry. You look nice," he smiles as his lips press a second kiss against hers.
"Hmm?"
"I’m serious," he chuckles as his hand finds her waist.
"Trust me, I know it’s true," she laughs. "I’m just trying to figure out why it’s taken you so long to say it."
"I’ve been busy," he begins. "With-"
"Family stuff," Cori nods, her hand waving to dismiss the subject. "I know, but that's not what I tracked you down for. I have so graciously blessed you with my presence because you owe me two things."
"What are they?" J's brow arches, a soft smile on his lips.
Cori drops her hand for his cheek. J's eyes remain on her as she leans back, weight resting against her palms.
"I need a ride home," she lightly pats the hood of the car. "And I need a study buddy."
J lets off a light scoff at the latter.
If there is one undisputed fact, it is Cori's academic ranking. She is top of their class. Between the two, J needs a study buddy to catch up to her perfect GPA.
"Okay. When?"
"Tonight, genius," her eyes roll as she pushes against his shoulder. "Josh, please don’t tell me you forgot we have midterms Monday."
J's eyes briefly drift shut.
"Shit--I have a family thing tonight."
"When?” Cori smiles as his eyes pass over the parking lot. The corners of J's lips turn up into a smile before his gaze returns to hers. “I’m just saying...it’s technically not nighttime yet…and being as you haven't seen me in ten thousand years...the least you can do is study with me...”
"What’s it gonna take for me to get out of this?"
Cori pauses to think.
"Nothing."
"Nothing?"
Shaking her head, Cori smiles as her hands find his shoulders. "There is absolutely nothing that you can give me for me to drop this."
"Damn."
"Unless,” Cori bites back her smile as her playful eyes meet his. “You want to tell me how much you missed me.”
“If that’s it,” J sighs, his lips stopping short of hers, “You might want to go ahead and find another ride home--”
“Shut up,” she giggles as his hands find her waist.
Helping her down, J steals a kiss before following Cori to the passenger side of his truck.
"I'm just giving you a ride home."
"Uh-huh." Turning to face him, she smiles as his lips press against hers.
She allows him a second kiss as J's arm wraps around her waist.
“To sweeten the deal,” she beams. “I’ll even let you take me out.”
"What is it?"
Cori's eyes remain on the surfers visible from the parking lot. She watches the girl who manages to ride the swell longer than the rest of the group. When she glances across the truck, she discovers J watching her.
"What do you mean?"
A low chuckle escapes J as he watches Cori busy herself with the task of finishing her milkshake.
"What's on your mind?"
Despite her asking him to stop and grab something to eat, Cori hasn't said much to J. Even if she had, he knew her well enough to grasp Cori was waiting to ask him something. Her brown eyes raise to meet his gaze before she lets out a breath.
"It's kinda stupid."
"Coming from you?" His brow arches as his fingers interlace with hers. "I doubt it."
Cori's gaze remains on their interlaced fingers as she speaks.
"It's just, the winter formal is coming up. I figured we could go together."
She glimpses up once her suggestion is met with silence. J's brow is a furrowed, a hesitant smile on his lips.
His thoughts are racing--he's praying this is the initial time she's breached the subject. That he hadn't missed any hints in his haze the past weeks.
"Seriously? You never want to go to those things."
Cori's eyes roll. J's right. In the last two years, neither of them have attended the school’s dances.
She bites her lip before opting to take another sip of her strawberry shake.
"You really wanna go?" A light shrug is what J gets in response. "If you want to go, I'll go."
"It's just--we're going to be done with school soon. We have to go to at least one--"
"And prom?"
"That's not up for debate. Your ass is taking me to prom, Joshua Cody." Cori laughs as J's lips press against her fingers.
J's smile fades as a ringtone interrupts the conversation. He releases Cori's hand before retrieving his cellphone from the truck's console.
She silently observes as he reads the name on the screen.
Baz.
She remembers the name--he is one of J's uncles--but that's where her knowledge ends. The furrow of J's brow sets in as he declines the call.
“So...this family thing," she notes, as his eyes meet hers. Before she can get the rest of her thought out, a text comes through recapturing J's attention. "It must be pretty important.”
J's shrug seems outlandish when held alongside the urgency of his uncle. In the time it took to eat, J's phone has got several notifications. Each time, he pauses long enough to silence the call and proceeds as if it never came.
“It’s just a thing with my uncles.” His mood is light as he sets the phone back down. His easiness returns as he meets her eyes. "Smurf's pretty serious about everyone being home for it."
He can notice the slight hesitance in her eyes before she offers him a smile in return.
Leaning across the car, J presses a kiss against her cheek. His lips drift to her neck.
"I'll get the tickets Monday," he mumbles as his lips retrace their steps. "Promise."
J's truck is parked engine idling. His left-hand rests against the steering wheel, his eyes on her.
Cori has removed her seatbelt. Her body is turned in the seat so that she faces J. She toys with the hem of her dress instead of moving to get out.
"It was good to see you, J."
"Yeah," J agrees. Her eyes lift to meet his, the soft smile on his lips stretching into a grin. "You too."
J opens his mouth to continue the thought, but Cori has already turned away from him. He watches as she retrieves her backpack from the back seat.
"Cori," J clears his throat. The action hinders Cori's opening of the door. Her hand hovers over the handle. "Maybe we can hang-"
"Nope.”
J blinks. His brow furrows as a silence falls over the car.
"If you want to see me again," Cori teases, her hand falling from the handle. "It will be in school."
"Why do I have a feeling you're not gonna let this go?" J's eyes roll softly as Cori leans across the car. "You’re serious?"
"Because I'm not letting this go," she smiles sweetly, ignoring the chuckle the action pulls from J. "And, I'm 'lock my window' serious, Josh. Show up if you want, and I’ll leave you outside."
The smile on Cori's lips grows as J's gaze falls from hers. His tongue passes over his lips as she leans closer.
His eyes drift shut as her giggle fills the car before Cori presses a kiss against his cheek. She leaves a second kiss before moving away. Hopping out of the truck, Cori slips her backpack onto her shoulders.
"Think about what’s important to you, Cody," she beams before shutting the door.
J picks up his phone. The screen lights up as a new text message appears.
6 missed calls. Baz
7 missed texts. Baz
1 missed text. Craig
He opens the most recent notification from Craig.
Dude. Call Baz back so he'll stop losin his shit. You know we got that thing tonight
Cori is in the process of unlocking the door when she hears the sound of his car door slamming. Looking over her shoulder, she smiles as J crosses the driveway backpack over his shoulder.
"Two hours,” he concedes. J is powerless to the tug of her hand as Cori pulls him inside. “Then I have to go. Baz is blowing up my phone.”
"Then we better get started."
J's fingers comb through his hair, the brown eyes trained on him forcing him back to reality.
Judging by the look on Cori's face, this is not the first time she has spoken. Heat rushes to his face as J's gaze reverts to the stack of notecards in his hands.
"Uh--yeah," he clears his throat as he shifts in the computer chair. "That's right."
He steals a second glance at her, the smile on Cori's lips not helping with his current situation.
"Of course it is," she winks. Her gaze returns to the review sheet. She stops to make a note alongside the term The Baroque.
The two are currently in the midst of an AP European History review.
J isn't much help, but Cori doesn't need it. Each of her responses is correct. That's good for J. He's spent the last thirty minutes distracted.
It's a good thing Cori claimed the bed, laying on her stomach as she pulled out her notebook. J took the computer chair opposite of her. If Cori had let him join her on the bed, no studying would have taken place.
It doesn't matter that a month has passed. J hasn't been able to keep his eyes off Cori Edwards since her arrival freshman year.
A smile creeps across his face as J's eyes meet Cori's for a second time.
"You need a break, Cody?" The grin on her lips widens as Cori rests her chin in her hand. "You seem distracted."
"Just thinking about how you don't need these." J lifts the cards in his hands before discarding them on the nearby desk. "You never have."
"Hmm..." Cori's eyes return to the review sheet. She pauses to add more to the notes written neatly in the margins. "True, but you do."
Pushing herself up, she passes over the review sheet. Written neatly in the top right-hand corner is J's name.
"I made this for you Tuesday night."
J studies the sheet for a moment, his fingers massaging his temple as he takes in Cori's study guide.
Shit--she's right. He does need it. He missed the review session on Tuesday. The thing about AP Euro is that it's not as straight forward as Trig. J can ace his Trig midterm in his sleep. AP Euro is a whole separate story.
"Thanks, Cori," he sighs. The grateful look in his eyes as he watches her cross the room earns him a warm smile. "You didn't have to-"
"Oh, trust me, I know." Taking his hand in her, Cori lowers herself down onto his lap. "But, I know you have a lot going on. Besides, making the sheet helped me review for the test."
"I love you. You know that?"
"As you should." Taking his face in her hands, Cori smiles as J meets her gaze. She closes the remaining distance between their lips. "I love you too."
As her lips drift to his neck, fingers slipping beneath the hem of his t-shirt, J pushes her dress up her thighs.
"I thought we were studying," he chuckles, his lips returning to hers.
"We're taking a break," she giggles. "You’re useless when you’re distracted."
When he wakes, J knows he’s overstayed. He was meant to leave by four. It’s four thirty.
The cellphone, humming on the surface of Cori’s desk, sounds through the bedroom. J doesn’t lift his head from the pillow. Instead, he watches her face scrunch in irritation as the sound gradually pulls Cori out of her sleep.
“You gotta go?” She breathes, her eyes remaining shut as she tries to fall back to sleep.
“I should,” he chuckles. His finger traces the curve of Cori's shoulder. “Your parents will probably be home soon.”
“You’re right.” A soft giggle follows as J's arm wraps around her waist, pulling her body across the bed. “You should probably go.”
Despite his words, J makes no move to leave the bed. He sinks his face into her neck. His weight presses her into the mattress as her arms wind around his neck. He stays there for almost ten minutes. His eyes closed, listening to the delicate pattern of her pulse. Neither says a word. Cori knows the time has come to let him go when J presses a soft kiss against her skin before forcing himself up.
“I have some family shit I gotta handle,” J huffs as his palms rub against his eyes. “So, um, I probably won’t be on my phone for most of the weekend.”
“Okay.”
J proceeds to redress, his body in no rush to leave, as his phone starts again.
He needs to go. Now.
J has prolonged his return to reality, and the Cody House, long enough. If he doesn’t call back shortly, Smurf might have a heart attack.
J tugs his t-shirt over his head. His eyes focus on the bedroom window. He’s shocked Smurf's car is not parked out front. It wouldn’t be the first time his grandmother has tracked him.
“I just meant--I might not be able to pick up if you call,” he crosses the room to meet Cori. The faint smile on his lips brings one to her. “You can text me.”
“Maybe,” Cori sighs as J's lips caress her cheek. “If I have time. I’ll have to check my schedule.”
She catches sight of his sparkling eyes before J’s lips are on hers. The kiss itself is soft, another step in his lingering goodbye. His lips linger against hers before pressing against hers a final time.
“Hey,” J pulls back, his fingers interlacing with hers. He gently squeezes her hand as she meets his gaze. “Thanks for today. I missed you.”
“You too.”
“I’ll text you later,” J smiles before retrieving his phone and backpack.

Need to write all this down because I just stared into space for a solid 30 min just dreaming about this scenario / potential fanart comic that I could draw of Ben x Devi (I’ve been obsessing over them for the past couple of days and it’s probably due to me not having good dick since god knows forever)
(Draft)
So the comic will start off with Devi being sort of upset and horny, reminiscing about her interaction with Paxton - maybe a really hot makeout sesh and they’re about to have sex - except last minute, Devi gets cold feet and it’s sexually frustrating for Paxton. So Devi is hella embarrassed and mad at herself for pulling back. She tries to initiate again, but Paxton is just like, “forget it, you’re not ready,” and Devi is like “no, I want it.” And Paxton pauses, looks at her, and shakes his head like “no, you’re not. It’s okay. I don’t want you to feel pressured to do something you’re not ready for.” Which Devi feels insulted by and is terribly sorry. Paxton just smiles and kisses her on the forehead and is like, “I think I should drop you off. It’s getting late.”
End daydream. Devi reels in secondhand embarrassment and is mad at herself for stopping. She vows not to do that again and, of course, in typical Devi fashion, she thinks to herself, “well, if we end up having sex the next time we makeout, I better do my due diligence and research into how to properly have sex.”
And what other way to learn about something than to study up on it?
She begins thinking about how she could do her research. She’s studied anatomy before and knows the basics - the testicles, the glans, urethra, sperm, prostate, yadda yadda. And she’s taken health class and sexual education on how to put on condoms (on bananas- nonetheless - San Fernando valley had pretty liberal sex ed).
But she’s never seen what sex looked like. Never heard it. Never smelled it. Never experienced it from afar or visually.
That’s when she thought of it - porn.
She goes to her room, opens up her laptop, and googles “porn.” Search results pop up, and she catches glimpse of some of the keywords.
“Perky oiled brunette shoves two cocks in both holes”
“Slut sucks slobbers on big veiny dick”
“Curvy sexy ebony rides and squirts before getting facial”
The ache in her groin gnawed even more and—did she just twitch down there? With her blood rushing to her cheeks and between her legs with each horny, perverted word that her eyes came across, her fingers tremble and her body - her breasts - feels like it’s tingling, aching and needing to be roughly handled.
Nervous and horny, she clicks on the first one: porn hub.
She enters a site of orange and black - a pop up window asks if she’s 18 or older. She hesitates, feeling dirty and corrupt. She clicks on enter.
Squares of images lined in a grid populate, organized by category. She skims the words - “Anal”, “BBW,”“Cumshot,” “Compilations”—the list went on and on.
One of the categories catches her eye: “Desi.”
It was both laughable and eye-opening to see that category. A category just for Indian women? She was both amazed and flattered, and for just a brief moment, she wondered if her ancestors could see her.
Her father, she thinks.
Oh god, why is she thinking of him all of a sudden.
Ashamed, she shakes her head, exits out of the window, and closes her laptop. A cool chill runs down her spine, calming her excitement, chilling the pulsating heat that had pooled between her legs. She’s embarrassed for thinking of her dead father and for even thinking of looking up porn. She’s ashamed and pushes her laptop away, now doubly frustrated at herself and for still being sexually pent up. She gets up to grab water in the kitchen, hoping the ice cold water will help temper her aching need.
The doorbell rings.
Devi’s ears perk, and she furrows her brows. Who could this be, she thinks, as she ran down the stairs, walking to the door to peep through the hole.
She gasps, “oh crap.”
It’s Ben!
“Shoot, I forgot!”
Ben was supposed to come over to work on a history project with her - and have dinner, she remembers, since she told her mom and her mom insisted.
“Ah, yes Ben! I remember that boy with the massive pimple on his face who cried in my office!” Devi smirks at Nalini’s comment but then remembers, dammit, why did her mom also want him for dinner?
She opens the door, deepens her frown, a blush creeping on her face as she locks her brown eyes with light blue ones.
“Sup, loser,” Ben says, and Devi almost loses her blush except he smirks, a twinkle in his eye, and a slightly lifted brow. Devi’s eyes trail down over his shirt which clings to his pecs and biceps, and she feels the blush coming back.
And then she notices his strong arms and hair and veins—
“Fuck you,” she says, rolling her eyes, quickly turning her back against him so he doesn’t see her blush harder.
Jeez, what’s wrong with her today? Devi thought (as well as Ben). Why was she so god damn horny?
“What’s your problem, David?” Ben asks. He looks around Devi’s living room. “Where’s your mom?”
Devi shrugs. “Probably at work with her coworkers. Mom’s trying to bring more fun and benefits to motivate them, she claims.”
“Ah, that explains it.” Ben is a little relieved since Devi’s mom was a tough one to please. But, he knew that Nalini had a soft spot for him. (Or, at least he had a 95% confidence level in that thought).
“Actually, kanna, I’m just finish up cooking dinner here with Kamala,” Nalini chimed.
Ben and Devi snapped their heads towards the direction of the kitchen where Nalini and Kamala were cleaning up.
“And if you had helped me like you should have done, you’d know that I was busy cooking up aloo gobi dosas before leaving for my work event later tonight.”
Ben sniffed deeply, the aroma of ghee and asafetida and cumin wafting in the air. How did Devi not notice her mom was cooking with the delicious smells dancing in her home?
“S-sorry mom, I forgot. I just have been feeling a bit out of it today,” Devi replies sheepishly. “Kind of feel hot.” Which was true. Something was terribly wrong with her today for some reason. It felt like there was this growing ache down in her groin that needed to be filled, and with each step she took, every friction against her clit would send shivers of pleasure all over her body.
Before Ben could react, Nalini immediately runs to Devi’s side and places the back of her hand on Devi’s forehead.
“Hm,” Nalini scrunches her brows. “I don’t feel a fever, but you do have a slight blush. Devi, if you’re feeling sick, please don’t get us all sick and go to your room. You should’ve told us and Ben earl—“
“I’m not sick!” Devi blurts, shaking her head. Nalini is taken aback.
“I- I guess,” Devi lowers her voice, trying to come up with an excuse for why she was dickstracted—er, distracted.
“I feel burnt out from studying for AP physics and AP calculus this week,” Devi lies.
“Amateur,” Ben scoffs, smirking. He looks at Devi who snaps to look, looking both mad and flustered, her cheeks tinted slightly redder than normal. It was enough to wipe the smirk off his face. Was she okay?
“I’m not letting you show me up, you jerk!”
Yeah, she was okay, he thought.
“Devi!” Nalini’s jaw fell and she looked like she was about to chew Devi’s face off which terrified Ben.
“N-no, sorry Ms Vishwakumar, that was totally my fault and uncalled for,” Ben cuts in. He looks at Devi who still looks mad at him (but less so, maybe a bit of relief).
“Would it be all right if we study first and then eat dinner?” Ben asks, not sure whether to direct the question to Nalini or Devi first.
“Dinner will get cold,” Nalini warns. “But, I must leave now, so you two can do what you will and whatever regarding dinner.” As she runs towards the door and grabs the keys, Nalini whips her head back and stares daggers at Devi.
“Devi, behave please,” she says through gritted teeth before shutting the door.
Devi sighs in relief and turns to Ben.
“So,” she says, heading towards the stairs. “Let’s get moving. We don’t have much time before dinner gets cold and it’s bedtime.”
Ben nods, walking behind under her. He looks up - damn she has a nice ass - curvy and round. He notices she is wearing a pretty short skirt, and—was that…
Ben blinks twice in disbelief, looking away before looking again. It was no doubt what it was—sticky wet lubricant-like liquid. Running down her inner thigh. Or maybe that’s sweat, he told himself.
Ben blushes. Wow, he felt like such a pervert for staring up her skirt. That and they were going up to her room. To study. Yeah.
(But damn her butt, her curves)
As they enter her room, Ben immediately plops down on the floor, opens his bag quickly, pulls out his AP European history book and notebook, and opening them and flipping through pages (nervously?) and quietly.
“Dude, you’ve been eerily silent this entire time,” Devi torts, and she can’t blame him, can’t blame how nerve wracking it was to have your chiseled (wait shut up Devi) arch nemesis in her room - supposedly a safe haven - to study. Come to think of it, why did she let him in her room? She began to regret her decision, especially when she realized that her nervousness was also turning into heated excitement, her breasts were tingling with desire and even her clit—
“You said you wanted to hurry, so here I am, focused, David,” Ben snaps. He ignores the fact that she’s not wearing a bra and that her tank top isn’t enough to hide her hardened nipples.
(Her cleavage looked so inviting, he dare not stare too long at her tits)
“Actually, for once, you didn’t use your brain and suggest we work downstairs and eat dinner simultaneously instead,” Devi retorted. “Let me just grab my laptop and we can go back downstairs to study and eat dinner at the same time.”
“Don’t put the blame on me for your lack of brain usage,” Ben snapped back, rolling his eyes.
Devi throws a stuffed animal at his head, and he barely dodges it.
“Asshole,” she mutters as she gets on her knees and reaches over her mattress and duvet, grabbing her Macbook.
That’s when Ben saw her soaking wet panties.
Heat rushed from his head to his other head, his cock jumping.
Holy fuck, he thought, is she doing this on purpose? Why did she have to put her ass up like that? Was this intentional? This was a little too cliche, he thought, and porn-like. Girl wearing no bra and apparently soaking wet invites horny boy over to her room and puts her ass in the air while in bed?
“Uh, yeah, yep, sure, that’s probably a better idea,” Ben stammers, trying to ignore his growing boner and grabbing his books. “Lemme just stuff—“
(Those boobs)
“—these boo….ooks. Books. In my bag.” He pushes the last book in his backpack and zips it up.
Oh dear god, did she notice his almost Freudian slip?
He glances over at her, and she’s got a raised brow. “Uh, okay, weirdo, did you just almost say boobs?” Devi says.
“What, no?” Ben says. “You weird pervert.”
“Don’t lie! I saw you staring at my boobs! You’re the pervert!”
“What kind of crap are you projecting onto me for? I’m innocent!”
“You’re like the least innocent person I know!”
“That’s definitely not true,” Ben scoffs. “And even if it was, it’s better than being an Unfuckable Nerd.”
That did it. That was the straw on the camel’s back. Devi was enraged, insulted, and sexually frustrated. Ben had dug into a deep insecurity of hers, a wound that she desperately wanted to heal and prove herself out of. For all her life, she had never felt desirable, never had a boy flirt with her or ask her out or even given her attention. When Ben first called her an “Unfuckable Nerd,” she didn’t show how painful the sting of his insult was to her lonely heart. She did not want to be the forever nerdy virgin who was seen as sexually undesirable and —god forbid—ugly.
(Was that why Paxton pushed her away, she thought briefly?)
“Shut up!” she yells before chucking her laptop at him. She misses by a meter (thank god her eye hand coordination was god awful), but she’s not sure if she was even intending on hitting him with the laptop. Still, the moment the laptop flew out of her hands and onto her carpeted floor (with a nice thud), Ben knew he had made a huge mistake. And so did Devi (though she dare not be the first one to admit that she was wrong).
Except she was really wrong this time.
“Devi!” Ben exclaimed. “I’m—“
“Oh fuck Ben, I’m—“
“So sorry.”
Both Ben and Devi apologized simultaneously, with heavy regret and a tint of fear in their voices.
“N-no, I crossed the line, Devi,” Ben said. “It’s really…misogynistic and objectifying of me to call you Unfuckable.”
Because you’re quite the opposite, he thought.
Devi acknowledged internally the apology, but it still stung painfully in her heart. She wanted to let him know that it still hurt.
(Especially hearing that term from him).
Still, she knew she was also incredibly at fault for almost injurying Ben.
“I’m also sorry, I really…really should’ve not thrown my laptop at you. I could’ve injured you really badly.” Devi dropped down to her knees, getting down to Ben’s level since he was still on the floor, a bit shaken by her throwing her laptop at him.
“I guess I deserved it,” he said. He looked over at the laptop on the ground.
“But if you did break it, don’t expect me to pay for a new one,” he said with a smirk.
Devi rolled her eyes. “I’m not your sugar baby; I wasn’t expecting you to pay for a new one.” She crawls towards her MacBook (Ben consciously looking away since she’s on her knees again) and opens it, praying to herself that it was still functioning.
She tapped on her keyboard multiple times.
Blank screen.
“Oh fuck,” she whispered. She kept tapping on the keys of the keyboard.
No response.
“Crap!” Devi hissed. “Oh no, no no no!” She was sort of panicking. “I knew this would happen.”
“So why did you throw the laptop then?” Ben slyly asked.
“Not. Helpful. Ben.”
Ben scoots closer to Devi, wraps his arm around her—
Devi is shocked, his graze making her melt into his touch, sending the pent up frustration and heat back to her ache and pussy—
But, Ben was only merely reaching around to press down on her laptop’s button for a couple of seconds before the lock screen shone back on.
Oh, Devi thought, a feeling of defeat and disappointment settling in her chest. He wasn’t hugging her.
But, hey her laptop’s alive.
“Oh thank god,” she says, breathing a sigh of relief before turning to him - wow he’s somehow pretty close to her face and body and oof, his proximity sets a fire across her entire body —
“Consider yourself lucky. Looks like you don’t have to buy me a new laptop,” she says, smirking.
Ben scoffs.
“In your dreams, David.”
Oddly enough, Ben’s arm is still wrapped around her, his presence warm and enveloping. Devi is tempted to lean into it but knows better (especially not now when she has been hot and bothered all day).
She types her password in her Lock Screen, hits enter, and gasps in horror as she realized that she didn’t properly close out her browser full of porn -
(which is now blasting moans of cam girls fucking the selves with sex toys all thanks to livejasmin)
“Oh shit!” Devi immediately slams her screen shut again.
But it was too late.
Ben’s brows shoot up, eyes widening and jaw dropping in guffaw. A laugh of disbelief escapes from his throat.
“Holy crap! And you called ME the pervert?” Ben laughs. “Who’s the pervert now?”
But damn, wow, he’s turned on.
He tightens his arm around Devi in a proper hug now, pressing her closer to him, and leans in, an inch from her ear, whispering —
“You’re a dirty girl”—
Before pressing his lips on hers.

how to study when you REALLY don’t want to
we've all been there. You have a paper due in the morning, it's 10 pm, and you're sitting at your desk, feeling dead. Or maybe it's 3 pm, and you're just SO overwhelmed with an endless to do list and so many pages to read or annotate or take notes on that you just think,
screw it. I just won't do anything.
Listen, I get it. I understand. I LOVE learning, but I often find myself bogged down by homework, that incessant, painful reminder that you're being forced to learn. Nobody likes that.
So below are some of my tips for studying, especially when you really, really don't feel like doing it.
What's your absolute dream school? Columbia? That's amazing. Harvard? Incredible. Florida State? Awesome. Wherever you want to be in two years- whether it be college, grad school, teaching, etc. Picture yourself learning in your dream learning environment, doing what you love the most. Maybe for you, that daydream means picturing yourself in a New York City coffee shop, working on Literature homework from Barnard College. Or maybe it means cramming biology in a crowded, raucous library at UMass. Whatever makes you get excited about learning- take the fuel you feel from those daydreams and use it to fan the flames of your love for learning.
Treat every single class like it's your absolute favorite class ever. Listen. I don't care if you have the shittiest teacher on planet earth. I don't care if you couldn't give less of a fuck about quantum physics or functions or whatever. You have the privilege and the opportunity to learn anything and everything, and we could all do good to stop taking that for granted. Treat AP Calculus like it's your favorite subject EVER, even when- especially when it feels like pulling teeth. But how? You might be asking. The secret is that it's really, really not that hard. There are so many ways to motivate yourself to do that subject you've been putting off for days, and you know it!! Use studyblr to find inspiration for That Subject™, make a study group, trap yourself in your dorm/library/coffee shop until you just finish one problem set, just START. Chances are when you see other people being productive and getting shit done in that subject (cough studyblr cough) you'll want to do it too.
Eat, sleep, and live. Listen to me: you HAVE to stop killing yourself to do more school. Your to-do list ISN'T GOING TO JUST GO AWAY. There's always going to be things you have to do and things you could be stressed about. But stress, school, and homework are not excuses to abandon self-care, friendships and having a social life. Go out with your friends! Go to the movies! Go to that football game! Get the important stuff done and stop worrying about your endless list! Having somewhere to go will motivate you to get done faster, and you're going to feel a lot better after going out and having fun than sitting at home alone procrastinating. Chances are, you'll be more energized to get some work done too.
Pay attention to what your body's telling you. Switch out midnight iced lattes for smoothies and fruit. Eat lots of food that makes you feel good, healthy and fulfilled. Stop snacking on the same 4 chips every time you study and start learning how to fuel your body and your brain. If you know you can't eat a full breakfast before school, find things you can eat, and I mean MORE THAN JUST COFFEE STRAIGHT FROM THE POT. Track what you eat for an entire week, and I mean EVERYTHING. Track your water intake, coffee intake, and soda intake. On top of food tracking, also track your mood, productivity, and overall feeling of wellbeing. At the end of the week, see what's up! Look for patterns, dehydration, food inconsistencies, gross stuff you eat a lot, things you want to change, all of it. And then actually MAKE THE CHANGES.
I know I'm going to sound like your mom friend here, but that's kind of what I am, so: drink👏🏻more👏🏻water👏🏻!!!!!!! I cannot STRESS THIS ENOUGH!!!!!!! FUEL YOUR BODY!!! YOU WILL FEEL BETTER!!!
in conclusion...
- picture yourself learning in your dream learning environment
- picture the payoff, you doing what you want to do - nursing or teaching or building fancy ass AI robotos or whatever it is
- do NOT take your education for granted!!!! learning is such an opportunity and not everyone gets it
- treat yourself like a normal human being. take care of yourself. shower. eat.
- pay attention to your body. pay attention to what you need. pay attention to what you WANT
- drink your water, listen to some jazz, and just start somewhere.
- small progress is still progress

[3:02 a.m]
while finishing your ap calculus homework on your desk, you notice neighbour!jaemin through your aligned windows, still awake playing video games. you pull out your phone and call him, snickering under your breath. it takes him a few moments to notice his phone vibrating, eyes glued to his tv screen, before he pauses his game to look up at you through his window. eyes on you, he gives a smug grin and picks up the phone.
“what are you doing still awake? it’s like 3am, you crackhead.” you start.
“i could tell you the same thing.” his low, mischievous voice reverberated from the phone.
“atleast i’m doing homework. what’s your excuse?” you tease at him.
hearing a chuckle from the other side of the phone, he says, “actually i’m doing a very intense research study on the effects of video games on the adolescent mind.” you could tell he was smiling through the sound of his voice.
“you’re full of shit, you know that, na jaemin?” you giggled. your neighbor always stayed up gaming since you two were children, and it was comforting to know some things would never change.
“so were you watching me all this time, y/n?”
“pfft. over my dead body.”
“okay, sassy, much? stop being such a panini-head all the time, y/n.”
“you know, i’ve known you for 10 years now, and you really have not matured mentally a day over 2nd grade.”
he laughs absentmindedly before gasping in realization, “wait— i dont even have a shirt on, you pervert!” he says overdramatically, before you look up from your phone and squint hard into his room to check. it’s poorly lit at this time of the night, his computer being the only source of light, but there’s no way you could miss the slope of his collarbone, the toned muscles in his shoulders. your cheeks redden as you gawk at your childhood friend’s surprisingly chiseled physique. since when did he get this hot?
you see his dark figure lift his head from his phone, making direct eye contact with you through the window. in place of his shocked expression comes a cocky, shit-eating one. “oh, you like what you see?” a blush dusts across your cheeks at his abrupt words, embarrassed that you got caught.
“keep dreaming, wackass.” you mutter flusteredly, trying to keep a semblance of cool, before hurriedly hanging up the phone and jumping into the duvet of your bed, fanning your face from its sudden heat. na jaemin will be the death of you.

you’re embarrassing me in the teacher au!!! 💞💞💞
#5 “You’re embarrassing me.” Teacher AU!
Today was just not Annabeth’s day.
It was as though her students were trying to make her off herself. Each class period was agonizingly slow, and watching her kids stumble around in front of the white board unsure of how to answer a math question was just flat out agonizing.
“Piper,” Annabeth seethes as the girl makes a dumb mistake. Annabeth only feels bad for calling it dumb for two seconds before she doesn’t care. “Is that how you distribute the parenthesis?”
Piper blinks. “Is that not how you do it?”
“When you’re distributing an exponent, you write it out, not multiply everything by two.”
Honestly. She’s about to throw something.
Piper tries again, and Annabeth can feel a headache coming in as she stood there hopelessly, watching her calculus kids crash and burn. She no longer has it in her to even try and put out the fire because these were seniors who she has taught for years and they should very well know how to distribute.
“Ms. Chase,” Piper asks cluelessly, turning towards her teacher. Annabeth was perched against the wall, one hand on her forehead because dear lord. “How do you use pascal’s triangle again?”
Annabeth swallows hard, counting to three. “You don’t need to use pascal’s triangle.”
“Oh, right.” Piper turns back to the board.
It really is painful watching her students not know how to do simple math when she has taught it a million times over. Normally she would assume she was the problem, but this — there was no way she was the issue here. This was just pure stupidity.
“This is pure stupidity,” Annabeth repeats after her thoughts, pushing herself off the wall and snatching a dry-erase marker from Leo’s desk. She tries to show them how to do it, knowing full and well that she will not be teaching them integration today. Because high schoolers are high schoolers, they don’t pick up on it and Annabeth has to physically retrain herself from walking out the door with her middle finger held up high.
She gets through one problem, and she has a tiny bit of hope, but it immediately dissipates when she takes in their faces. Annabeth likes to think that they were not looking at her, but rather through her. There was no light behind their eyes, and she kind of wanted to knock the light out of her own eyes if it meant she didn’t have to bear witness to this.
“Are you okay, Ms. Chase?” Piper asks, oblivious as always.
Annabeth turns towards her, a little lightheaded and baffled (what did they put in these kids’ cheerios this morning?). “I’m just not really understanding what’s going on,” she says.
Leo tilts his head, leaning forwards on his desk with two arms. “Neither are we.”
“That’s what I’m not understanding,” Annabeth says, a snappy edge to her voice. She knows she shouldn’t yell at them because they were still kids, and things like this were inevitable, but come on. “You understood this last week.”
“We forgot,” he excuses.
“Forgot?” Annabeth says meekly.
“We had a test in marine today, so our brains are fried,” Reyna throws in. Annabeth snaps her head to Reyna, who is leaning back carelessly in her seat, picking at her nails.
Jackson.
“We still have twenty minutes left of class,” Annabeth says. “But you all smell like fried fish and are useless to me.”
Piper grins. “Ask us something easy and we can call it a day.”
“What do you need to make sure you never forget to write when you’re integrating an equation?”
“The answer!” Leo shouts confidently.
How is this level of stupidity possible?
“You’re all going to fail the AP test,” Annabeth says.
“What was the answer?” Piper asks, frowning.
“The plus c, as in crappy children are clueless.”
The pounding in Annabeth’s head is increasing with every second she looks at these kids’ faces. Right now, they were all ugly blobs she wouldn’t mind hitting over the head with a hammer, but as a teacher, she has to pretend this is motivation for her to teach them. Not that they deserved to be taught, because no, they deserve to be hit over the head with a hammer. Also maybe a tennis racket.
Annabeth just stares at her students’ ugly faces for what feels like eternity. She’s pretty sure she can see their brain cells dying with every passing second. She hears the door open behind her back and she assumes it’s one of her students leaving, and she is so jealous that it was not her leaving. She doesn’t even bother looking because if she looks, she swears she is actually going to—
“Chase!”
Annabeth scowls, turning towards the voice.
“What’s with the face?” Percy asks cheerfully, just working his way into the classroom.
“Jackson,” she says, snarling. “This is your fault.”
“What is?”
“You gave them a test and now they’re dumber than you.”
“Babe,” Percy teases. “That’s mean.”
Annabeth’s face flushes red immediately as she hears the snickers start to roll in from the twelve kids in the classroom. They’d managed to keep their relationship under wraps to avoid exactly this, but for some reason, Percy just loves to go around flaunting pet names. She isn’t sure if it’s some reverse psychology thing to make them think it’s all fun and games when it’s really not, but she does know that this is mortifying.
“You’re disgusting,” is the only response Annabeth can think of.
Percy slides up to Annabeth’s desk beside the front whiteboard, settling into her chair, prompting Annabeth to raise an eyebrow.
“Don’t you have a class?” she asks.
“It’s my planning period,” Percy says.
“Go bother literally anyone else,” Piper says. Annabeth has to admit Piper has balls.
“Thank you, Piper,” Annabeth says, impressed.
Piper preens. “You’re welcome, Ms. C.”
Percy just scoffs and rolls his eyes, rocking her chair with his foot on the ground. “I wanted to see how your class was going. It seems like it’s not going at all.”
“Thanks to you,” Annabeth says. “You’re not helping, interrupting right now.”
Percy simply takes one look around before his eyes settle back on hers. “You weren’t going to get anything done today anyways.”
“I’m in the middle of class though.”
“Is it still class if you’re not teaching?”
The look Percy gives her is one she would like very much to smack off his face. He looks so smug, and a part of her thinks that maybe he planned his test for today just so her students would forget how to do anything math related, and he could sit and watch it all fall apart.
“All I’m saying,” Percy says, turning to fiddle with a pen on her desk, “is that you could use some cheering up right now, so don’t kick your best friend out of your room.”
Annabeth glares at him.
“Piper texted me,” he explains. “Said you were being mean and to come save them from an early death.”
“Mr. Jackson!” Piper complains.
Percy disregards her, giving Annabeth a dashing smile that never fails to make her knees weak, and he stands up to hold his arms out towards her. “Come here.”
“No,” Annabeth says, taking a step back.
Percy gives her the look, and she finds herself unable to resist approaching him anyways. She steps into his arms, despite Reyna’s animated gagging motions and Leo’s whoops, and he wraps around her tightly. He’s really warm right now, and he smells so good that she could just curl into a ball and fall asleep right now. She never wants to leave his embrace. She feels protected and cared for, and it offers a place to hide from Leo’s mean flirtatious remarks.
Percy holds on for longer than expected and Annabeth has to pry his arms away. It works for a second, but then his hands are going to her cheeks and pulling her towards him, and her stomach is dropping.
He presses a sloppy wet kiss to her cheek, making sure to be obnoxiously loud, and Annabeth gasps, smacking him and wiping her cheek.
“Got you!” “You’re embarrassing me,” she whines, taking the bottom of his shirt to wipe his slobber away.
Piper has her phone out and a big smile across her face. Percy gives Piper a thumbs up before looking at Annabeth. He’s still smiling, basking in her misery and humiliation.
“But I made your day better!” Percy says, laughing. “Tell me you don’t feel better.”
“Oh, I feel fantastic that you just planted one on me in front of a bunch of students,” she says sarcastically, shoving him by the chest. He stumbles back but immediately returns, undeterred.
“As a student of yours, I do not feel fantastic,” Reyna interrupts. “In fact, I feel violated.”
Leo winks at Reyna, and Reyna shivers.
“I hate you all,” Annabeth says. “You children are the sole reason I regret becoming a teacher.”
The banter continues on between Percy and Annabeth for the rest of class, the students chiming in to team up against them. Even though Annabeth was immensely annoyed, she still has to admit that she does feel better. She hates these kids so much, but they also mean the world to her, so she can’t find it in her to be too bothered that they lost a day of teaching anymore.
The bell for lunch rings and Annabeth all but kicks her students out. Piper is the last one out, demanding a hug from Annabeth, and it’s only a little weird. Annabeth was used to Piper’s antics by this point.
Once the door closes, Annabeth turns to Percy, tilting her head at him.
“It was funny,” he says, snickering under his breath at her face. He comes up in front of her, and because there is no one else around, he puts his hands on either side of her to trap her against the wall.
“It was embarrassing,” she mumbles, resting her head against his chest.
“I love you,” he says, kissing the top of her head. “You were having a rough day and I thought I could make it up.”
“By nearly outing us to the class?”
“You said it yourself — they’re too stupid to actually suspect anything.” Percy nudges her chin up with his nose. “If you’re still having a bad day, I can perform some tabular integration with you?”
Annabeth snorts, accepting the short kiss he gives her. “What?”
“Urban dictionary. Look it up.”
Annabeth shakes her head and bites her lower lip, endeared. She really loved this boy, even if he taught marine and used undeniably dirty terms off of urban dictionary.
“You plan on interrupting future classes again?” Annabeth asks, pressing her lips back to his. She breathes into it, letting her earlier worries slip away.
Percy smiles into the kiss. “If this is what I get, then yes.”

Drabble #39: "Hey! I was gonna eat that."
by PacificRimbaud for @grangerdangerfics
Rated M for language and sexual references
Pairing: Pansy Parkinson x Michael Corner
Tags: High School AU, Non-magical AU, discussion of teen sex
"Cocoa Puffs. Nice."
Michael, folded in half and pushing a half-gallon carton of Minute Maid aside to grab the milk, stood up quickly, cracking the top of his head on the ceiling of the refrigerator.
"Shit!" The gallon jug of milk hung from the index finger of one hand, and he rubbed the top of his scalp with the other.
He'd entirely forgotten that it had been Spirit Day, but he was reminded of it by the sight of Pansy closing his sliding back door behind herself, her twiggy legs poking out from the ass-grazing hem of her cheer skirt.
"Can you knock?" he asked, pulling the plastic seal from the cap of the milk. "Is that something you've got stashed away in your grossly under-tapped skill set? Or do you just do pom poms now?"
"Mom says I don't have to." She parked herself on the bar stool Michael had intended to sit on at the kitchen island.
"My mom or your mom?"
"Your mom."
He sat down at the opposite end of the bar, reached over to hook a fingertip into the edge of the bowl of Cocoa Puffs sitting in front of Pansy, and dragged it across the counter toward himself.
An enormous bow, purple with white polka dots, sat at the top of her head, crowning her blunt black bob. Her eyelids were shaded to match. Michael thought he smelled artificial grape, and wondered if it was her lip gloss.
"Why are you in my house, Minnie Mouse?" He poured milk over his cereal, then walked back to the fridge to put it away. Bent over again, he heard the distinctive sound of ceramic scraping across granite, and turned around to find Pansy with his bowl back in front of her and his spoon in her hand, chewing earnestly.
"Hey.” He gestured pointlessly at the bowl. “I was gonna eat that."
She waved at him. "Move on. I have a favor to ask you."
Michael pulled another bowl from the cupboard. "You mean besides letting you eat my cereal?"
She nodded, jamming a spoonful into her grape-flavored mouth.
"I need you to start fucking me after school."
Michael froze.
"Excuse me?"
As she waved her hand again, he fixated on her gleaming purple manicure. Each of her nails was a completely smooth oval.
"It's perfect. I checked, and cheer practice lines up almost exactly with robot group–"
"Robotics club."
"Fucking Legobots clubhouse, and mom doesn't get home until 6:15."
"My mom or your mom?"
"My mom. Your mom gets home at 5:45, so that’s another half an hour at my house, which we might need, I don't know. Anyway, like I said, you're right next door, it's perfect." She took another bite of Michael's cereal.
Carefully, deliberately, he set his new bowl down at his new spot at the island, and sat down.
Slowly, methodically, he filled it to the brim with Cocoa Puffs.
“Is this like a fake dating thing? Are you trying to get Draco back by pretending we’re sleeping together or something?”
Pansy shook her head. “No. It’s the opposite of that. We’re going to have real sex, but no one will know about it. And I’m still not talking to you at school.” She’d finished chasing the last globes of cereal around in her milk, and grabbed the box to top off her bowl.
Michael could feel himself glitching.
“Sex.”
“Yes, Michael.”
“With me.”
“Yes, Michael.”
He rebooted. “Why me?”
“It just makes sense. We’ve already seen each other naked,” she said. “Taken baths together. Slept in the same bed.”
“Yes, when we were two.”
He thought about the photo albums on the shelves in the TV room, and the series of photographs taken of her and Michael standing in a plastic pool in the backyard, arms looped around one another’s shoulders, wearing nothing but My Little Pony and Spider-man underpants, respectively, Michael squinting in the sun, Pansy in pink star-shaped plastic sunglasses, tongue out and hip cocked to one side.
“You can sleep with literally any guy at school. And not to be an asshole, like, get it, for sure, but my understanding is that you kind of do.”
She turned toward him with a look of unfiltered excitement and pointed the bowl of her spoon at him. “That’s exactly it. I don’t. But Cassius—”
“Cassius Warrington?”
“Mm hm.”
Cassius Warrington had graduated two years earlier, and now played college football in a very high-profile way.
“I’ve been texting with Cassius, and Daphne was messing around and said something to his sister who told Graham Montague who told Cassius that I’m incredible.”
Michael blinked. “Incredible at having sex?”
“Yes.”
His eyes narrowed. “Are you...not?”
“No! I’ve never done it.”
He looked down into the detritus of cereal powder floating in his now-brown milk, and suddenly short on appetite, dropped his spoon in his bowl.
“But I thought you and Draco, you know, for what, three and a half years…?”
He wondered why he’d felt the need to specify the half.
“His parents are so weird about all that purity stuff. He went down on me constantly, but that’s as far as it went. But no, I haven’t had intercourse.”
“So...you’re asking me to have intercourse with you, so you can have intercourse with your boyfriend?”
“He’s not my boyfriend yet, but basically, yes.”
Michael suddenly felt defensive.
“Why would you think I’d want to do this?”
Pansy stared at him, then waved a hand down the length of her body.
She was all soft, flawless skin and dark hair and big eyes and long legs and…
Michael breathed out.
“Because I’m me,” she said. “And you get intercourse, Michael. Until I’m good at it.”
“Isn’t that a big deal, though? Like don’t you want to have feelings with whoever you have sex with for the first time?”
“That’s exactly the problem. What do you think of when I say ‘virginity’?”
“I mean, it’s a social and not a biological construct, and there are some pretty gross gender disparities—”
“Exactly. That’s why you’re perfect. I don’t want some guy who thinks putting his dick in me is the equivalent of typing ‘First!’ in the comments.”
“And you think Cassius will be? Why date him then?”
“He’s 6’5”. But you’re an analytical nerd, you’re fucking hot, you’re definitely not going to tell anyone, you’re single—”
“What makes you think I’m single?” He paused. “You think I’m hot?”
She only rolled her eyes. “And yes, the double standards are unbelievably fucking annoying,” she said. “Did you?”
“Did I what?”
“Have feelings the first time?”
He swallowed, and pushed the cereal further away.
“I haven’t done it either.”
Pansy and her grape lip gloss stood up abruptly from the bar stool.
He wasn’t tall, exactly, and she wasn’t short, exactly, but when she and her tiny skirt stepped between his parted knees, something about the way she was still a little shorter than him while he was sitting down triggered a rush of adrenaline, and his gut promptly became a thriving butterfly preserve.
“Are you―what, like, right now?” he asked.
He’d been steadily leaning toward saying yes, but if he did, there was a lot of research he’d want to do between now and the actual opening ceremonies.
“No, fucking dork.” Pansy rolled her eyes, and patted her hands against his knees. “My parents are out of town next weekend, and Cassius is gone for an away game, so he’ll be too busy to text.” She smiled, and it was something less like the Cheshire smirk she flashed at her friends across the quad, and more like the way she used to look when they tore open their first Otter Pops in Michael’s back yard every summer, until they’d turned twelve and both moved on.
“We’re going to be so bad,” she said. “But that’s fine.”
“I hope not. I mean...if we...I’d try. Obviously. To not be bad.”
“It’s not like AP Calculus.”
“No, I don’t imagine it’s anything like AP Calculus.”
Michael glanced at her mouth, glistening and faintly purple, and Pansy’s eyes widened.
Fuck it, he thought.
He settled one hand at her hip and the other at the back of her neck, and then he kissed her.
They separated a full minute later, both breathless.
Oh, Michael thought.
“Oh,” she said.
“Next weekend?” he asked, hand tightening over her hip. “Like, what time?”
“I guess...” She stared at Michael’s lips, and her hips tilted forward. “Whenever.”
Oh, fuck.

Hiii, this is the old version of this chapter before I revamped the series because a lot of people have asked for it :DDD
———————
Jungkook was confused. He was confused about how you had gotten in, he was confused about why you had gotten and he was confused about who you were with. This was the most confused he had ever been and Jungkook took AP calculus. He ignored you however, opting looking at his phone instead. The date struck a chord in Jungkook’s head, finally remembering that it was your 21st birthday, and he missed it. Jungkook tried to tell himself that the boy was probably just a random friend, someone insignificant because you needed to fill the void he left. It was selfish, but he needed it to get him through the night. Everything was fine and under control. Jungkook wasn’t worried. Until, you went with the mystery boy to the dance floor, then Jungkook was beginning to feel his blood boil.
“Jimin, I can’t dance.” “Nobody can, just follow my lead you’ll be fine.” Jimin spun you around into his arms and you playfully danced together (although it was mostly stiff swaying on your part). Jungkook was livid but before he could spiral further he was broken out of his trance when Mel whispered into his ear. “I told you so.” He turned around and glared at her before claiming he didn’t even care. Jimin noticed his look of disinterest, not sensing the ingenuity behind his facade. “Damn, it’s not working. We need to try harder.” You furrowed your eyebrow at him questioningly at his vague suggestion, you needed to draw the line. “I’m just putting this out there, I am not kissing you that is never happening.” Jimin laughed uncontrollably for a bit and you tried not to take offence, after all, you didn’t like the idea of kissing him either. “You literally remind me of my little sister, I wouldn’t dream of it.” You both stood there close to each other trying to come up with a way to make Jungkook jealous without actually looking like you were trying to come up with a way to make Jungkook jealous. “Oh, I’m a genius, come with me.” He grabbed your wrist and you followed him to what was a secluded area that had dim lighting and a few elevator doors.
“So, what’s the plan?”
“This is it, this is the plan.” You looked at him with astonishment, he could not have been serious. “This is a shitty plan, Jimin.” He ignored your pessimism and gestured to the couples around you, all engaged in borderline public indecency. You got the hint but you weren’t sure that Jungkook would. While you were scowling at the vivid displays of PDA, Jimin slightly peaked from the edge of the wall where he spotted his target. “Y/N! Y/N! Y/N! Y/N!” You quickly turned to him muttering a hushed, “what?!?” “He’s coming, he’s literally coming. Get into position.” “What position? We never discussed any positions.” Jimin quickly trapped you between the wall and his two arms and it was kind of awkward because you were almost the same height. Whatever macho move he was trying to pull had failed embarrassingly. “Okay, now giggle like I said something funny.” All you did is glare at him. “This is ridiculous Jimin I-” “Do you want revenge or not?” You tried not to whine because frankly enough this was not how you wanted to spend your birthday. You sucked it up anyway because Jimin’s scheme had no forseeable end. “Ha. Ha. Ha.” “God forbid you ever become a spy, you suck at this.” You were about to reply before a cough had you both looking to your left at the origin of the sound only to find what seemed to be a mildly distraught Jungkook. “Sorry, do you mind if I borrow her for a second?” Jimin nodded a little too eagerly and if it wasn’t for his distracted mind, Jungkook might’ve picked up on the inconsistency. You weren’t the only bad actor. Jungkook gave you barely any time to think before he dragged you to an even more secluded corner next to the bar.
“What are you doing here?” Jungkook knew exactly what you were doing but he realised he needed a cover for randomly pulling you away, he couldn’t just admit he was jealous, that would be extremely hypocritical. “None of your business." “When you’re underage it is.” He knew it was your birthday and that you were of legal age but he couldn’t possibly tell you that, not when you could barely look him in the eyes.. “Nope, it still isn’t.” Jungkook didn’t know what to say but he knew he didn’t want you to leave his side at all. You didn’t like the awkward silence so you made an an attempt to leave, but it was futile. “Now if you don’t mind I have to go find my friend.” Just as you are about to walk away from him, Jungkook rested his hand on your shoulder and you halted, your back facing him. “Look me in the eye and tell me you want me to leave you alone tonight.” You hated the cockiness in his tone, you shouldn’t have given in but you turned around to face him out of spite.
However, the moment your eyes interlocked with his, you were gone and the only thing you could think about was your lips on his. It didn’t take long for you to lose your resolve, in fact his lips were making their way down your neck before you’d even realised you kissed him. You gasped quickly under your breath when he began to suck on the lower part of your neck, he grazed his teeth over the same place afterwards before detaching his lips and smiling deviously at the mark he made, the mark you had no idea existed. “Have fun with friend tonight, Y/N.” And with those final words of false encouragement, he walked away. You stood there where he left you, frozen for a bit while blinking rapidly to try and comprehend what had just occurred right before you. You rushed to find Jimin.
“What happened?” Jimin’s voice was laced with concern at the sight of your teary eyes. “Nothing, Jungkook’s just an asshole.’” “Details stupid.” “I kissed him and he kissed back before running off with some bullshit ‘have fun with your friends’ You mimicked his part in a deeper voice that made Jimin chuckle a little, though he quickly stopped when he saw your neck. “Y/N he gave you a hickey.” You gasped loudly. “Please tell me you’re lying.” You ran your fingers over where he kissed your neck and winced when you felt a bruise. “Oh no. Now I have to wear turtlenecks everyday.” Jimin laughs at your now even sadder state. “Don’t you get it? He clearly did that on purpose to deter me. Sneaky, smooth, handsome bastard. You have got to ask him to teach me his tricks.” You looked at Jimin in disgust and he mocked your face before wrapping his arm around your neck. “Oh our little baby Y/N got her first hickey how amazing.” You elbowed him slightly again and he swiftly pulled your hair out of your ponytail. “You can use your hair to cover it up.” You hated having your hair down but he was right, it conveniently covered the hickey quite well. You went back to sit at the bar with Jimin but he excused himself to go to the bathroom.
Someone sat beside you and you had assumed it was Jimin but when you turned around you were met with Jungkook instead and sirens went off in your head like that scene in the movie inside out.
“Did I tell you that you could cover it?” You didn’t give much attention to what Jungkook had said, you forgive too easily and you weren’t going to let that happen again. Jungkook could see that you were uncomfortable and he hated the fact that he couldn’t comfort you or make you feel better. Hell, he was most likely a huge part of the discomfort you had felt lately and he regretted every second of it now. If he couldn’t bare to see you with someone else he wondered how badly he’d hurt you in the past by doing even worse. “Why did you lie to me?” You barely mustered the courage to ask him that question. He hummed in reply to your broken voice, not understanding what you had asked. “Why did you lie and say that you liked me when you didn’t?” Jungkook kept his lead low, trying to formulate an excuse, any excuse and yet nothing but the truth would come to mind. “I didn’t lie.” You scoffed bitterly, clearly not believing his answer. “I hope you don’t go around hurting all the people you like, Jungkook.” He laughed lifelessly, swinging around his drink before chugging it. He decided then and there that he was going to tell you everything, every single worry that stopped him from being with you because the last thing he wanted was to make you feel like you were the problem.
“In high school, I fell in love with a girl named Ruby. She was absolutely beautiful, the kindest soul I had ever met. Senior year, she was killed in a public shooting. I swore to myself that I’d pursue law enforcement after that so I’d never be that helpless again. She’s the reason I became a cop. She’s also the reason I thought I could never fall in love again. Y/N when I first met you I didn’t plan to like you as much as I did, frankly I didn’t plan to like you at all. I’ve been alone ever since I was 16 and after Ruby passed away I never thought I wouldn’t be. It felt unnatural for me to do simple things like take you out on dates or even reply to your messages. I kept forgetting and fucking up the more I’d try and every time I saw you I’d feel more and more guilty because I couldn’t give you what you wanted.”
“All I wanted was you, Jungkook. I didn’t want all your time or attention, I probably would’ve been okay with one phone call a week but you were so inconsistent. You’d talk to me nearly everyday and then not at all. I’d feel like I was getting closer to you and then you would feel like a stranger again. It was exhausting and it hurt and I know it hurt you too. You need to stop denying yourself happiness. What happened in the past will never change, no matter how much you beat yourself up about it. Moving on and being happy with someone else doesn’t mean you’re forgetting her. It just means you’re not forgetting yourself.”
“I’m so sorry, Y/N. I’m such a horrible person.” You shook your head. “You’re not a horrible person, you just deal with your doubts and problems horribly. From now on, you have to tell me what’s troubling you. Show me the worst of you, and we can deal with it together.” If Jungkook wasn’t sure about liking you before, he was head over heels now. He hugged you, his head sinking into the crook of your neck. “I don’t deserve you.” You laughed a little at what he said. “If you ever ignore me like that again. I’ll never forgive you.” Jungkook chuckled and pulled back from your embrace, looking you dead in the face now.
“Happy Birthday, Y/N.” You looked at him weirdly but you quickly dissolved into a smile. “So you did remember!” His face softened at your excitement, your sleepy eyes shining through though. “Come on, let me take you home.” You were about to agree but then you remembered your friend and you wondered where he went. “Give me one second.” Jungkook’s eyes visibly hardened. “Are you going to look for Jimin? Seriously Y/N?” You pouted with pleading eyes. “But he’s my best friend, I have to at least say goodbye!” Jungkook looked confused now. “I thought he was your date.” Your face fell when you realised you had just blown your cover. Jimin was right, you would make the worst spy. Jungkook was beginning to realise what had happened now and he seemed even angrier. “Y/N please tell me you didn’t do all of that just to make me jealous.” “Well it worked, didn’t it? Let’s go now.” You were dragging Jungkook away mid-way through your question, you pulled out your phone to call Jimin and he immediately answered. “Y/N did you secure the bag yet?” You obnoxiously laughed at his horrible code name and Jungkook looked at you weirdly. “Where did you put my coat?” There was a pause that was prolonged by Jimin’s “ummmmmmm…” which eventually resulted in him telling you to wait and hanging up.
“I don’t think he’s coming Y/N, here you can have my jacket.” You rolled your eyes, he clearly didn’t like Jimin. “Calm down will you, it’s been like 40 seconds.” Jungkook clicked his tongue in annoyance, eyeing your dress cautiously. “Maybe if you wore something that covered you more you wouldn’t need a coat.” You started to giggle a bit. “It’s a pretty dress don’t you think?” “No it’s hideous. You’ll throw it away once you get home and never wear it again, right?” You shook your head, wanting to tease him. “I like it, I think I’ll dress like this more often.” Jungkook groaned before pulling you towards him by the waist. “I’m going to get you a shirt that says “my boyfriend’s a cop” and you’re going to wear it everywhere.” You would’ve laughed if he hadn’t addressed himself as your boyfriend. You smiled nervously, you wanted to address it but you were scared he’d run away. Your nervous face made Jungkook worry. “You do want me to be your boyfriend, right?” You smiled sheepishly at his question. “Yes please.” You mumbled ever so slightly. He hugged you painfully close before kissing the top of your head. “I missed you, princess.” You didn’t know how to feel about the pet name, was he still mocking you or complimenting you? “I’m not sure if I like that nickname or not.” Jungkook laughed at your hesitancy to accept the nickname.
Jimin ran out with your coat, handing it to you and then looking at you and Jungkook with teasing eyes. You glared at him so he raised his hands defensively and went back into the club, blowing a kiss your way. Jungkook hailed a cab and opened the door for you. He then leaned down to speak to you which you found peculiar because you thought he was going with you. “I have to go back inside, the Chief’s there and I’m really trying to get a promotion.” The desperation in his voice made you belt out a bubbly laugh before you stopped abruptly at his pointed glare. He sent you off with a goodnight and gave the driver a $50 note before letting you go. When you were about to pay the cab driver he laughed and said your boyfriend had already paid and too much at that. You were about to correct him till you remembered, he really was your boyfriend, you went home with a huge, beaming smile.
I’m so sorry this is so late 😭😭😭 @p-jiminaa
