Came for Dramione but fell down the hole that is Panville and more. I adore your fics, they are wonderful. Your writing is wonderful. I have yet to consume all of your fics, but I'm on to it.
There is something about your writing that inspires a whole host of feelings within me. Visceral, almost. If that makes any sense. I am able to relate with the emotions being written in your fics. The yearning, the longing, the love. It basically makes me want to find someone and give them a hug, and remind them that they are loved too. And to also hope to attain the same amount of yearning and mutual love with someone else. Also, it is incredibly inspiring to me, that you write the HP characters in different pairings and various AUs. In fandom (perhaps more so outside of HP?) it does seem to be common where people tend to shit on fanfics outside of AU, which is discouraging.
I am really grateful to have stumbled upon your ao3 account and fics, thank you for writing and sharing them with us. Should you one day return to writing, I will be there. Subscribed and ready. And if you so choose to publish your original work via other means, say the word (i.e., post a link to purchase it) and I will do so.
I'm so glad you stumbled into Panville! There's so much to read now. Hands down, the chaos and glory of rare pairs was the best part of my fandom experience. No rules, no expectations, just vibes. And I have, as I type this, a document open in another tab, so. We'll see. Staying very still and calm and letting it come to me like a skittish horse.

pansy's spy girl note-taking in RoT whizzed me straight back to the wonder and joy of childhood. I now take my birdwatching notes in similar girl detective fashion and it's made me all the merrier. thanks, you <3
Girl detective journaling forever! Ponder! Make conjectures! Gather the clues to your own life and/or the lives of birds! I love this so much, thank you for sharing <3

will Panville get their ending in remember one thing? my friend recommended it but told me I might want to wait until we are blessed with the epilogue. actively writing or not, you are such a gift to this community and your portrayals of love are so healthy.
I feel good about their ending in the final chapter, and marked it as complete a while ago. I do still intend to give them an epilogue, so for those waiting, don't unsubscribe if you'd like to read it. But I don't think there's any reason not to start it. And thank you so much. <3 I once sort of exasperatedly told a family member that the art that truly speaks to me—the kind of art I want to put out in the world—"makes a case for love." It's become a joke between us, because it was a funny way of putting it, but it's true. I hope you enjoy Remember One Thing. I hope it makes a case for love.

i love your work so much and realized i hadn't seen anything new from you in 2024 and just checked your tumblr to see you're not writing anymore. fully support whatever you need to do for your mental health, just want to say you're such a beautiful writer and should inspiration strike you again i would be so excited to read more of your brilliant work! <3
Thankfully I'm not short on inspiration, it's just not the right kind. Maybe someday. Thank you so much! <3

Babe, listen
Your fic isn’t a flop, it’s a cult classic. Only the coolest freaks like it, don’t worry about it, it’s great.

So I finished Gideon the Ninth for the first time. I have been spoiled on some plot details (though not all) from the subsequent two books, and given what all I know, every time Silas Octakiseron spoke i was just picturing this image
Like yeah buddy, you're right about Lyctorhood being a terrible idea and about the Ninth being kinda shady and about Dulcinea being dangerous. But could you, like...just stop acting like that

I have fancast The Green Knight's Dev Patel as your Remember One Thing Neville, and it *works*
Tofu why would you do this to me. Now I'm imagining 6 foot 2 inch beautiful man Dev Patel in fireman's blues pining after his wife. Running her a bath. Taking long walks with his one-eyed dog and a broken heart. I am in pain. Thank you <3

A lot of people, especially adults, are put off trying things out of fear of failing. Learning to accept and even enjoy being bad at things can often be the first step in a new passion.
For what it’s worth, I wasn’t one of those people who picked up a bow and was a natural from the start. I had overly mobile elbows, and my dominant eye and hand don’t match up. But that lack of expectation meant that I was able to do it the way I enjoyed it, without worrying about scores or results. And over time, enjoyment turned into passion, and I like to think I’ve developed some amount of skill.
But even if I was terrible at it, I’d still be doing this, because I love it!

There's a version of the "don't go grocery shopping while hungry" rule specifically for writers where you should never under any circumstances be allowed to touch your draft within 3 hours of reading a really good story. Because sometimes when you read something great your head goes "fuck this is so much better than my stuff I should make that more like THIS instead!" Look at me. That's the devil talking and you should close the document NOW.
